3 pointsHopefully! they said they were doing most recording and editing this weekend so I don't see why it wouldn't be out tomorrow, I don't really care so much about the video being delayed, I will however be annoyed if the module is delayed.

2 pointsHello, Identity Community. I have been noticing that several users have been calling for aircraft, trains, and other paraphernalia which are not necessarily allowed or necessary for a realistic environment. The game will take place on an island, a small island, which will allow users to experience a small but vibrant community. The reason why airplanes and trains don't make sense, other than abuse, is simple logistics. A small island would likely not have a train network. If the island did, it would be very limited. If the lack of aircraft takes away from the realism, there are several populated areas IRL which have banned aircraft. Part of the island lore could be that aircraft were banned for sound pollution or something else. I recently noticed a post about prison bus transport. Again, not necessary. Consider the size of the island, and what would be logical in reality. The main reason why this project attracted me in the first place, was because of the realism and entire map freedom. By limiting the environment to an island, the developers have given us the freedom of exploring "everywhere" without making an endless mindless map. Finally, I am going to discuss the video. Ladies and gentlemen, just forget the video. If it comes out, let it be a nice surprise. The primary goal is the first module at March 21st. The last thing in the world any of us want is that enough players make such a noise about the video, that they focus on that instead of necessary module development. If the March 21st deadline is pushed we are going to be worse off than missing some video. Let's be surprised, and let's focus on March 21st as the goal.

2 pointsThe island won't be terribly small. It's atleast bigger than GTA V's map by a fair amount. But yeah, aircrafts are just not in consideration because it cuts off the possible social interaction when going from point A to B. There will be a train however that travels the map for players to use as a mode of public transportation.

2 pointsAnother day gone and still no video how long is this going to go on for. Fair enough if they need more time but then im not sure why they are getting everyone hyped saying it will be "days not weeks"

1 pointAfter a few months debating if I should buy a citizenship due to a small amount uncertainty of the legitimacy of the game, I have finally done the deed. Why is my name Identity_British? Fuck knows, can someone please think of a explanation I can tell people. I quite honestly have the brain of an ape thus failing to provide any sort of decent thought. My best idea was nationalism but people get mixed up with that and fascism so I thought I’d better not say it. Anyways, I’m here now, planning on staying. Ta ta for now chums!

1 pointI don't think aircraft would cut off communication between players. What if the pilot has to speak to the control tower, which can be run by players, or if he takes passengers to their destination? Although as devs said it would make the island feel too small, so it makes sense to not have air travel, unless they release a new island in a dlc.
-
1 pointi totally agree the air vehicles may cut off any social interaction those who would be hurt to be able to meet other people

1 pointI too want to see this video looks great and also to discover much more about the content that looks complex and great!

1 pointI could see this doable. I know a game that allowed that type of system. Apb had the ability for you to have custom licence plates. You could also just stick with the default ones. Really it just comes down to how much resource cost would it be I wonder.

1 pointIn life, we all go through pain, challenges. It's a roller coaster of emotions. We all bring a unique touch in this world. Sure life isn't meant to be easy, but we're young and we learn from our experiences. I've learned to not let others pull me down to their level for example.

1 pointSalutations, my dear friends The name's Austin, otherwise known as 'TheHellmare,' but more commonly known here and around the Identity community as 'LightBringer' (or 'LightBringerPip' when the name is already taken). After taking much interest in the community we hold here I couldn't resist my chance to make it official, so here I am now as one among many of our friendly moderators here to help you! Though classes and work and other personal matters must come first, when I am free of all those I spend my time mostly talking to you all. Be it friendly conversation or assisting in any way I can. To go more in-depth about myself personally, I am a PC gamer often not knowing what to play next after each adventure. I'm quite the calm one to be around, but don't let that stop you from shooting me a PM or asking for assistance. I love to help and I love to talk. Be it sharing opinions, talking games, or just building up a network. Oh, did I mention I like Identity? That super cool "reflection on modern day life" game we all have been super hyped about. I'm of course just as excited as you all and can't wait to see what the future holds for us all regarding it. Have a beautiful rest of your day, friends. I can't wait to hear from you all again.

I've worked on several (gaming-) projects before and now I'm super excited to join the moderation part of this amazing project! As many others here, I just love gaming and the community of it since I was a child. From SNES to Current Gen, it's just pure fun since then. It's amazing to see all the joy that comes with it and I'm glad I can share it with you! So let's take this road together and share the fun! PS: If you need any help - let me know! So I can help you guys out as soon as possible. Cayn out!

1 pointYes a estimate was given as Q4 2017, They have not given any dates actually except for now. They gave time periods when the module was supposed to release but, the developers miscalculated and also had problems along the way. Games have set back all the time and well this is a game in development. Yeah, you may be one of the first to sign up on the forum but remember, a lot of people who didn't sign up straight away are kickstarter backers and so that is indeed another factor you need to account for. We all have been waiting, some more than others and well we'll have to wait until March 21st. I was slightly disappointed but I am happy and glad it is a date to work with, as well as I can wait as I have been waiting nearly 3 years already. I suggest to you keep busy with something else and just be sure to keep up with the updates and then be ready for March 21st. You will be glad in the end to get the module when it comes but I can say it was a bit upsetting to have the "soon" but this is the first official date which actually has been given.
-
1 pointThe full release was set to be 2017 Q4 I just feel cheated with all of these "soon soon"s and release dates that are not going to be kept. I do think the module will be ready by March but the whole game was supposed to be released right about now. I do love the game but I hate being dragged along with fake promises.

1 pointI imagine the only thing most of us are dissapointed with are one million posts like this that all say the same thing.

1 pointHey everyone, I'm Brendan, I'm currently a senior in high school taking a programming class and 3D modeling course with high hopes to go into the gaming industry in the future. I've been gaming ever since I was about 5 or 6. I've always loved video games and the world that it put you in. By the age of 13 I bought my first PC and gamed on it for about 2 years, After working part-time I save up money and built my new Gaming PC which is what I use now. After switching to PC I will never go back to consoles! Once I built that computer I installed all my software for 3D modeling and have been creating different projects to store in a portfolios for future job applications, by late 2016 I hope to apply for an internship at Gearbox Software (Creators of Borderlands) to improve my knowledge of the gaming industry. Thanks for checking out my introduction and I hope to see you guys around!

0 pointsI can smell impatience and disappointment. Just let them do their job, some people are getting ridiculous over a video. You know what you are getting into if you pledged for this game. It's been said several times in the Discord server that they are working to release the video ASAP. They know a lot of people are waiting for it.
