And I must say, seeing how they have always kept us on the leash with "soon soon". I am very dissapointed by the release date since I have anticipated this game for so long. The reason I made this thread is to ask, is anybody in the same position as I am right now?

Hey, folks! So this looks like a pretty interesting project, I've been a backer for a couple of years now. It seems the devs have very ambitious plans for this game and its mechanics. It seems they have talked about everything from business, real estate, the job market, crime, entrepreneurship etc. There is, however, something I haven't seen been discussed much, at least not on the forums. What am I refeering to? Well, quite frankly my post is about the economy of Identity. Now, as a big fan of economics, I clearly understand the depht and complexity of our modern economy, of the real world , that is. I do, however, have some inquiries about how the economy of this game will function. Will there be several currencies (with different exchange rates etc.)? Will there be a stock market and publicly traded companies? How will investments work, if possible to invest? Will there be a nominal interest rate, and, with that, a rate of inflation? How about government spending and debt? Will the unemployment rate affect the overall economy? Will there be business finance? Maybe you need to hire an accountant to keep track of revenue and expenses. Generally, how will economics work in this game? I would really hate for it to just be money showing up in your bank and that's it. It would be cool to see a much more complex economy than in games such as GTA 5. Maybe someone with some insight could inform me a bit. Thanks _)

Not in the Town Square Module, But it’s planned to be added inside of your garage at some point during either Module 1 or 2 where you’ll be allowed to look inside if it and interact with all its buttons. However, you won’t be able to drive any vehicles until Module 3 release.

A lot of candidates didn't even receive on vote, maybe they should offer their resignation if they are not going to be committed to their role!

“Here you go sir Surf and turf “ The waiter places the plate down in front of the unmasked man dressed in all white suit. With a nod of thank you the waiter walks away. The man in the white suit grabs his fork and knife. A scream from a woman and then a couple of gun shots are heard near the front of this party club dinner for the rich thing. The man in the white suit cuts his steak with his knife and jabs his fork into the piece of steak that he just cut. A group of men run in with machine guns, body armor and ski mask. “Everyone Down!” The man in the white suit leans forward to take a bite from his steak but just when he is about to taste the juice flavor of a nice prepared steak one of the guys with the machine guns comes up next to him and slaps the fork and the steak out of his hand. “That means you Rich boy!” The man smacks him in the back of the head as his hair falls over his face. “Down NOW!” He pushes the man in the white suit again. The other men are busy taking money and jewelry you know anything that is worth something. The armed man pushes the man in the white suit out of his chair and to the ground. He quickly looks back at his buddies . “5 minutes left let’s go!” He turns back around to look at the man that he pushed to the ground and does not see him. “What?!” He looks back behind him as White Mask is standing there all decked out in white. “oh Shii…” White Mask quickly grabs the man be the neck and spin around him into a sleeper hold and then with a swift motion he snaps his neck. White Mask stands there with his arms out as the body hits the floor and starts to laugh. The other armed men turn seeing the body fall to the ground and White Mask standing there laughing. They quickly point their weapons at White Mask. White Mask holds up his finger to them and stops laughing. “Hold on, don’t shoot..my fellow crooks.” White mask places his hands behind his back as he starts to walk around. Everyone is staying down, some of the women are crying but trying to be quite. White Mask stops and looks down at one of the crying ladies and waves, then places his hands back behind his back crossing them. “I like your style…I mean there is only two of you now but I like how you operate.” He stops standing in front of the man holding the machine gun pointing at White Mask’s chest. “May I ask what you call your little band of misfits?” The Man lowers his weapon and looks at White Mask. “We are well we call ourselves The Society ….Mr. White Mask.” White Mask nods and start to walk around the two men as they lower their weapons. “ I see The Society huh?.......hmmmm, you know what you two I like it!” He walks up behind the two men and places his arms over their shoulders. “I like you guys too. I mean I just came in for the surf and turf but your quickness and actions just blew my mind” White Mask lets go of them and then stands in front of them once more. He looks at his watch “Well you guys have less than a minute before Five-O pull up so you guys better get to work.” The two men don’t move just staring at White Mask wondering if they just got recruited from him or they are free to do what they want. White Mask tilts his head as they don’t move. With his arms crossed behind his back he would pull his pistol out from his back and quickly point it at one of the men and fire. The last man looks at his buddy as he falls dead to the ground and then back at White Mask. “GO Shit two minutes get the good and let’s go!” White Mask lowers his weapon as the man grabs the empty sack and quickly goes around collecting the goods. White Mask just shakes his head and walks back to his table holstering his pistol once again. He moves back to his table where his food was and sits back down. White Mask moves up his mask just a little so he can eat his food. After a few minutes go by the lone survivor of The Society runs up to White Mask as he was about to finish his meal “Ok boss we are good to go!” White Mask takes his last bite and pulls his mask back down. “Very good” he stands up and holds his hand out. The man hands him the bag of goods. “No no no give me your cell phone” The man quickly grabs the bag back and reaches for his cell phone to hand it to White Mask. “Here you go Mr. White Mask.” White Mask takes the cell phone and dials a number as he waits for the person to pick up. He points to the door for them to leave. The man turns around and walks towards the door as White Mask follows. White Mask head twitches as he reaches towards his back and pulls out his pistol once more. *BAM* The man with all the money, gold rings, diamond necklaces, Gems jewelry, bank cards, money. The last guys from the Society drops as it was a clean shot right in the back of the head. White Mask stops and drops the phone, and then kneels down to a crying woman. “Ahh my dear no need to cry, Santa is coming…” White Mask laughs as he grabs her hand and places the pistol into her hand. He places his finger on top of her finger on the trigger. His voice changes to what sounds to be like a girl “Oh please don’t shoot me I have a family” White Mask points the pistol with her hand up and fires off rounds into the ceiling. After all the rounds are shot he lets go of her hand and stands back up. Grabbing the bag of goodies. He reaches the front door and spin around. “ Merry Christmas you filthy animals!” he takes a bow and back kicks the door open as he skips on out just before the cops arrive. (sorry I have not posted I have been trying to set up something for White Mask.)

Hey Thanks for pledging and supporting us! 1. There is only 1 currency. 2. There is a form of stock market in the game, you will just purchase stock and will be able to view it either rising or falling. 3. Don't believe there is any interest rates. 4. Government spending isn't actually a thing, while we have a government in the game, people are paid by completing actions or tasks, and the governor can change laws, no actual spending. 5. Unemployment rate will not affect the economy solely because people will be able to make money no matter what they choose, it just ranges from different quantities, also, everyone will get a hotel room if you haven't pledged or bought an apartment. Although, this hotel room is pretty limited to what you can do and you cannot customize it. 6. You can hire an accountant but it's up to you to pay them, there's not really a job itself in the game available, but you can always hire your own in which you would pay them yourself, no automatic payments.

You possibly will need to drop the drugs to the person but I am not to sure. I know the other option is selling the drugs to a NPC instead of a player.

I imagine the only thing most of us are dissapointed with are one million posts like this that all say the same thing.

Too much competition

I don't believe the town needs borders... My tax rates would be simple. We ( the game government) tax 10% of everyone's annual wage. That way if your career makes $60.000 a year you know you owe $6,000 in taxes. It's simple, it's fair and it can even be applied to the businesses. We as the government take 10% of the annual profit collected by all companies.

Will you be building a wall for the city?
