1 pointLooking for members Hey I'm thinking of creating a rock band. I've not come up with a name yet, I'm open for suggestions or I'll have to figure that out on my own. I'm going to play the guitar and possibly do the vocals (if no one else is willing). There's basically room for any type of band member. May that be a drummer, a fine bassist, another guitarist or maybe a vocalist. You name it. If you want to be a part of my band or simply wish me luck, feel free to comment or PM me But hey, I'm also looking for jam buddies if anyone's interested. You don't have to be a part of my band in order to jam out. As I said before, feel free to comment or PM me if you're interested

1 point1. Sleep will not be need, but will give you temporary buffs. 2. Planting will only be in certain land marked on the map, you can, however, grow drugs in your house/apartment. 3. No cooking to the point where you burn it, but crafting more or less.

1 pointGhost wakes up laying on a bed as the boat rocks back inforth from the seas. His wounds have been bandaged and he sits up winching in pain. He sees bottle of vodka and pain pills next to him with a note “Take 2 then Head into the galley for food” Ghost takes the pain pills with a swig of the vodka. He puts his shoes on and slips on a sweater that was next to him. Ghost walks his way to the kitchen area as there are two men in it. One is making some food while the other is sipping coffee and smoking a cigarette. The man cooking looks up seeing Ghost. “He lives.” The other man looks up at the comment. “Appears the gods smile upon you stranger. Come let’s go see the captain.” The cook tosses him some crackers “These will help until you find your legs.” Ghost nods as he follows the first man and eats the crackers. They make it to the captain of the boat as he sits in his chair steering the ship and chugging a Red Bull. The captain looks over to Ghost. “Congrats on not dying” Says the captain. ”Why did you save me?” Ghost replies. ”I didn’t, we just plucked you from the water...you can thank the gods for that.” ”Well you can thank them for me.” “By the looks of the scars on you and what we saw a couple nights ago, I’m sure you will be able to thank them in person before anyone of us.” The captain adjusts himself in the seat to face Ghost putting his hands together. “Here’s how this is going to work, I don’t care who or why you pissed someone off that they shot a rocket up your ass, but your repayment for the boat ride is that you work on the boat. You can take off when we get back to the port. Myself nor my men will say anything about you and will just consider you a migrant worker...maybe if the world thinks your dead you can get a fresh start in life.” Ghost nods to the captain. “Tim here will show you around and put you to work.” The captain turns back in his chair as grabbing the mic for the intercom and yells something at the crew on deck. Ghost follows Tim as the go back down stairs. Months later... The fishing boat chugs up the bay heading to the port. Ghost is leaning against the railing at the stern watching the city come into view. It was night time and colder than when he left. A light flurry of snow began to fall as they closed in on the dock. The boat eventually makes it to the dock as some of the crew hops off tieing the boat to the dock. Dock workers start up as they begin off loading the catch. Ghost starts to make his way off the boat as the captain walks up behind him. “Jason, hold up.” Says the captain as Ghost turns around. “Need something else cap?” The captain shakes his head no as he holds out an a few hundred dollars. “You did good Jason...even though I’m sure that’s not your real name. Take this money and get back on your feet, Lord knows I’m justing going to spend on strippers.” Ghost shakes his head. “No thanks cap, I have mattress money at home. You spend that money on the nice strippers.” The captain laughs as he pockets the money and shakes Ghost’s hand. Ghost steps off the boat as he heads to his apartment downtown to rearm and plan his next move. He knew he had an advantage to strike back as everyone in the underworld thought he was dead and he could use this to stalk out Stephanie and her crew.

1 pointFamily matters It was just a month ago that we announced the official release date for the Town Square module. Since then, we've been hard at work turning that promise into a reality. Team expansions, UI drama, family additions and a whole new Unreal Engine amounted into a crazy time! For me, the biggest news this month was the arrival of my second beautiful daughter, Aria, on the 19th. It's been a lot of fun and not as sleepless as I expected. It meant a week off for me although the team in the office hadn't skipped a single beat while I was away. My week away was the first week of work for two new developers here at the office. Andrew (McWOLF), a gameplay programmer, and Artur (Archer), a UI/UX designer and developer have joined the team. Both have already proven themselves to be great at what they do! You've got questions, they've got answers Identity's community members and YouTubers have interviewed the developers. Your questions have been asked; check it out to see what the developers say about the way Identity is played! IDENTITY RPG DEVELOPER Q&A NOVEMBER, 2017 Identity Game - Podcast - Developer Q&A - #2 Join us on Twitch at 4PM EST on Tuesdays and Thursdays to watch Identity's developers at work. Most of these streams also have other developers present to answer the questions of those watching, live! Are you interested in hearing answers to other questions? Our developers have been answering questions on live streams for some time now and Brandon (BeachBall), our community manager, has compiled an enormous list of questions and answers. Check out the TWITCH CLIPS DIRECTORY forum thread. The little engine that couldn't We're really excited to show you gameplay footage, not only of the Town Square module but what you can expect to see beyond the modules! We've been hard at work on this, but our aging build of the Unreal Engine just couldn't cope with the advanced vehicle physics systems we're implementing in Identity! This meant it was time for the dreaded engine merge, something our lead programmer Sone has been fearing for years! Every once in a while (usually every year or so) we have to merge all of the modifications we've made to the core Unreal Engine into the latest release. It's an absolutely enormous undertaking, but it's done and good to go. Now that we're running the latest version of the engine, we can support more advanced technologies and we can bring you a more immersive experience, even in the Town Square. Just wait 'til you see what we're doing with vehicles! The UI disaster! Early in the month we hit a road-block. Our licensed middleware system for the user interface in Identity, Scaleform, was discontinued! The industry leading system would be no more, and we had to make the tough decision to abandon it now to save grief in the future. It was like a slap in the face. All of our user interface code had to be scrapped and replaced! While Scaleform was a Flash based system, our new UI would not be. We've signed on with Coherent Labs, and the new UI is under way. While unexpected, it's actually a blessing in disguise! Our new Coherent system allows for faster development, and while it's a minor setback now it'll speed things up considerably going forward. Our new guy, Artur, is dedicated to the user interface in Identity and our UI will be stronger now because of it. With Artur's help, I don't expect this to affect development time for Town Square even at all. We have more hands on deck to cover the added work. On the horizon With our expanding development team, we're able to focus our efforts in more areas of Identity's development. With vehicle and weapon systems now getting attention, we're once again progressing towards a short but feature packed gameplay video for you guys to check out. Keep your eyes out on Identity's Twitter and Facebook! -- John VanderZwet

1 pointHey, this was confirmed on the FAQ here. The map will be 200 square kilometers or 77 square miles. It will take 1 and 1/2 hours to walk across the whole map. There will possibly be map extensions in the future, but this isn't confirmed to be done as of now.

1 pointThere won't be visible effects from working out on release, but it is planned to be implemented afterwards.

1 pointHello citizens! I'm Motown, and I'm Identity's Community Manager, the person in charge of delivering all of your important ideas and messages to Identity's development team! What's special about my role here is that I'm not just your eyes and ears, I'm also one-half of the founding team for Identity! John Vanderzwet and I set out together to make Identity a reality, and have been involved in every aspect of Identity's development since the very start. That means, through me (and our volunteer moderator staff), you have direct access to the very top of our family tree, and we can influence the design and development of Identity together! You won't get that sort of treatment from many industry CM's! So, If you have ideas that you feel will expand and define Identity for years to come, let me know, and I will make sure it hits the right ears. What a relief it has been to know that so many people have been waiting for a game like Identity for so long. I couldn't be happier to have the opportunity to be the liaison that will connect you with the world of Identity and the wonderful people who make it what it is! We strongly feel that we have a winning formula, and the deepest conviction that we may revolutionize the MMORPG genre with your support! We're going to do a lot of great things together, so it's only fair that you know a little bit about me first! My name is Sean, I'm 27 years old. My best friend is my boss and co-worker, John Vanderzet. I grew up all over the United States where I've developed the hyperactive, happy, and unbiased personality you will come to know me for! I call Ontario, Canada my temporary home while I work on Identity as your Community Manager, interim Art Director and 3D prop artist. I went to college for Video Game Design & Production, but my true passion is interacting with people! I've been a forum moderator for many large and well-known online gaming communities, including a default subreddit of 8 million subscribers on Reddit.com, a volunteer guide of the Followers of Asura in "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures", an event organizer in "Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa" (Big RG fan btw!), the only English forum moderator of a German FPS called "Parabellum" (Google Translate ftw!), and forum moderator for "Planetside 1", "GamersFirst", "Mortal Online", and a few others I can't even remember, for varying lengths of time! Yep, I get around! But now it's time I get to know a little bit about you too. Create a new topic in this forum, and introduce yourself! We want to know exactly what personalities come out of the the deep, dark, depths of the internet to share our passion for Identity! But be nice!
