6 pointsI will be accepting no salary as governor. Instead I will donate my cheque to the police force to keep them well paid without raising taxes to high levels. Unified Party The Unified Party is a Bipartisan political platform dedicated strictly to the creation and stabilization of a clean government choice and a thriving economy. Our goal is to prevent YOUR governance to be ran by a slew of children bending to the whim of criminal networks. The Unified party will ALWAYS stand direct to the majority populace of popular favor. Our representatives will not be swayed by dirty money, backroom politics, or standardized threats. Platform Policies Our platform polices will be and will remain always to support small government, the lowest possible tax rate, and Marijuana legalization to stimulate the economy. It is the right of the citizens to have the means to defend themselves against vagrant criminals. If we take the firearms out of the hands of the citizens we leave them defenseless against the criminal organizations that reign over black market economies. Where we believe in the capabilities of the police force, we also believe that an armed society, is a polite one. We will not be concerning ourselves with things of lesser consequence, such as jaywalking, or noise complaints. You won't see Draconian Laws or penalties under the Unification Party; We believe in Bipartisan policies, that benefit the community as a whole and endorse economic stimulation and growth. Our policies will always reflect these basic values and understandings, you won't be distracted with flashy websites to disguise corruption or totalitarianism. Sleight of Hand Don't fall prey to the sleight of hand tactics being utilized by other "fundamentalists" parties. You do NOT require high tax rates for a safe community. The citizens have a RIGHT to protect themselves with firearms. Business' shouldn't be taxed more because they make more. We believe in flat rate taxes across the board, unlike the majority of our competition that want to increase taxes dramatically dependent on your yearly income. The successful shouldn't have to pay for the unsuccessful, nor will they under the Unified Party. Don't fall victim to false politics, corrupted deals, and high tax rates. Unified The Unified Party is a stand against corruption. It's a champion for the legitimate citizen and business owner. We will not stand by idly and allow competing political parties to lord themselves over the civilians. We will not settle for the lesser of the two evils. Divided we fall, but UNIFIED WE STAND. A personal thanks to @Jax for designing and creating our insignia and helping the campaign along since it's creation.

5 pointsThe time draws near! In the last dev blog I sent out, I mentioned that we were going to announce the release date for our first playable game module, the Town Square. Those of you who follow our Twitter and Twitch streams will have already learned this date. It's a very exciting and important time for Identity; we're fast approaching the time where you'll first step foot in Identity's grand world. We've crunched all the numbers and can now say with fair confidence that the Identity Town Square module will be released, to all backers with a $30 or higher pledge, on this coming March 21st. What will you find in the Town Square? The Town Square is a social game module. You'll be able to create your character, which may be transferable to the retail game after release, and meet hundreds of other Identity backers in the town square of the clean and quaint city of Ash Hill. You'll be able to talk to those around you, add them to your phone contacts and have full phone and IM support to stay in touch. You'll find a completely functional cinema playing full movies around the clock, a karaoke bar to show off your skills (or see me making a fool of myself), a working restaurant, art gallery, shops and more. The biggest single feature is the housing system. You're getting a taste of the full and complete player housing mechanics that you'll find in Identity. Everyone will have access to a tiny apartment, but those who pledged for higher rewards will be able to check out and decorate their larger spaces. It's a preview of what you'll have in the full game. Invite friends to your place and party it up! After the initial release of the module, we'll continue to add features to the Town Square as they are completed in development for Identity. Barbershops and tattoo parlors will let you customize your character further. A garage will let you sample your vehicles. You'll even get to test your ability with firearms in the police shooting range before the SWAT module is released. For me, one of the most exciting parts of Town Square is just to get inside the game and finally get a feel for Identity and how it plays. Check out a few of the Town Square work-in-progress shots we've released in the past. It's been a long road for the development team here at Asylum, but we're almost there! Flexing our new manpower Productivity has skyrocketed with our new office. We're working better and there are now many more of us knocking out code and assets each day. Our programming team has expanded with Charles and we're still hiring more. We've brought three new and incredibly talented 3D artists on board as well as a new technical artist. Brandon, our new Community Manager, has been hard at work keeping you in the loop. These guys are all proving their worth each day and I'm extremely excited about where Asylum is going. Looking to the future With some of our Town Square art wrapping up now, we're beginning to shift a bit of our focus to the second module: SWAT. The SWAT module will be a team vs team competitive shooter using the combat mechanics you'll find in the full Identity release. Expect combat to be slower and more realistic than most similar games. You'll learn much more about this module as work progresses. Above is an MP5 sub machinegun which will be used by the SWAT forces. This particular model was created from scratch in a matter of days by one of our new artists, Dan. The awesome talent of our art team is undeniable! -- John VanderZwet

4 pointsDuring Jade77's livestream (https://go.twitch.tv/leetperkins) he was/is making a vape and I asked if he could engrave my name in it and he came through and did it for me! You can see the render below. (The name engraved is hard to see due to him keeping the Vape in full view of the render camera,) This guy is also very entertaining on his stream and I would recommend you all to check him out and keep updated with what he is modelling next!

4 pointsI imagine the only thing most of us are dissapointed with are one million posts like this that all say the same thing.
-
3 pointsThank you very much, good sir. It was a bit strange for one to witness a party, that consists of zero platforms or policies, function as the dominating party within the game. It is honestly appreciated.

3 pointsOur reasoning for this is that we don't want people who can afford to buy apartment spaces through microtransactions to have an advantage in the game. If you were able to rent out the apartments, which you may have gotten through a pledge/MT, you could then translate that into in-game currency through rental income. We've got to consider all angles to make sure everything remains as fair and balanced as possible. You can have multiple people living in an apartment, though! And you can have more than one apartment for access to your stuff in different areas of the world.

2 pointsI work on an ARMA 3 combat mod, the latest update has taken over a year, and that's just a MOD. Topics like this are counter productive, everyone here is well aware that Asylum have made many PR mistakes, but seriously, it's time to move on already.

2 pointsEdited poll again: Removed The Unified Party since it seems a majority of people who voted for them don't take this as serious as this poll is intended. Sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused
-
2 pointsHey . As of right now there are not plans for budkng hotels as you would need to edit the map to build hotels. mabye in the full release they can add this though. Sounds like a nice idea

2 pointsFinally something simple, straight to the point. No complicated fuzz! And I can't think of a single thing wrong with you. Got my vote. If I cared enough about politics.

2 points[I have partaken in many RP threads this is not my first. Micky Tohmpson is a patch member of Men Of Mayhem, previous Pres. of Bad Company Rangers. He rides a 70's styled chopper. Dirty white T or black hoodie with with the clubs cut over, black jeans and Dc Martin boots. Always rides with a cigar in his mouth. Looks like the guy in my profile pic. Last threads were petty thievery and many other criminal things] Micky is awoken by a loud thud only to find himself in a graffiti ridden bathroom stall in some unknown bar. "Wake the fuck up!" Micky slouches up a fixes his cut and black hoodie, sporting flames on the sides with "Support your local m.o.m chapter" written on the sleeves. "Ohh fuck off!" Micky yells as he unzips his jeans and completely misses the toilet as he does his business "Jesus" The unknown man returns As Micky finishes he slams open the stall door open and finds himself in a bar on the south side of his town. A Red Spade Whiskey neon sign awakens him, only to realize it's the dead of night. (sorry don't know what time it is in the RP sesh) He open the door and reaches in his pocket to find sweet unfiltered Lucky Strikes. He walks down the street to meet up with is babe. His custom built chopper. He lights his Lucky, puts his glasses on and floors it down the one way city street, his absurdly loud pipes can be heard from many blocks away. He finds himself riding towards the sunset. Micky slowly rides into a small strip mall near the edge on Roseport. He parks his bike, puts on his round hippie glasses and walks inside Native Cigars and Ciggies, owned by Shalik Ma' lud of course. Shalik instantly knows who hes dealing with. "I've got the money right here" He says after taking a look around his cramped smoke shop, making sure no one is near. He hands over a Gurkha cigar box Micky takes a look inside. Six small stacks of 20$ bills. "Five Thousand?' Micky says as he looks Shalik in the eyes "Yep" Shalik replies "Get me one them cigars, cut if for me and light it" Micky exclaims with a stern look on his face Shalik grabs a high priced cigar from the shelf behind him, cuts it and allows Micky to puff while he lights. His hands shake around as if he is scared. Micky rests his cigar in his hand. He turns away without saying a work and puts the box in his saddle bag. He roars off to find himself outside his apartment in downtown.

2 pointsIn my personal opinion, I feel religion is religion! We can't necessarily control what others believe we can put an end to what is just morally wrong! No, I believe in very little interference, but not complete letting of people run the economy! Some regulations have to exist! All anyone can do is have the law! If someone breaks the law then they suffer the consequence! That's not bad, I remember that Identity is a game and that that's just how some people will be! Some people will enjoy being bad, plain and simple! I don't plan to ruin the game for them, but I won't have all hell break loose!

1 pointSo I know there is crime, obviously. But I was wondering how accurate cooking meth would be. Like do you have to manage multiple things? For example, Garry's Mod has a meth cook addon that has you doing different things to make it. Is this gonna be similar to that?

1 pointWhat game and community do you currently roleplay in? I roleplay in a life roleplay community on Grand Theft Auto V Xbox One called pdlsrp but I hope to move over to PC once Identity has private servers.

1 pointThis shows how incredibly unprofessional you are as a candidate. You mention that he doesn't understand how the system works and that he criticizes blindly, but provide nothing to back these statements up. What system is it that he doesnt understand? The non-existent healthcare system? I think his criticism was very poorly conveyed, however I have no trouble in seeing what it is he is saying and so one could argue you are the one being blind. So, as a member of this community who may be harder to criticise because I am not new, let me provide some real criticisms about your "healthcare" plan. First of all, how can you chose to pay for a universal healthcare on a day to day basis? I doubt someone get's out of bed saying "I need to pay $500 to the government because I plan on breaking my leg later!". What if you pay the $500 and don't use it? Does it carry on to the next day? If I pay it one day but don't need medical help until the next day, do I need to pay it again? There are too many holes in this plan. Healthcare cannot be in place for some people but not for others. I also don't know how you can claim it is universal healthcare when it is only available to people who pay. Next, what are your estimates based on? Because I am 100% sure the developers have stated multiple times that money-making will be similar to that of real life, so anyone who can afford to pay $500 per day can afford private healthcare. If you were to educate yourself on how the system works before criticising others for the same thing, I think your little campaign would go a lot smoother. Assuming a system like the one you propose did work (highly unlikely), how would it be abused? Someone pays the fee and doesn't take the healthcare? Someone doesn't pay but takes the healthcare anyway? Why would you give it to someone who hasn't paid? This statement seems redundant. Regarded by who? Yourself? I fail to see how a banquet dinner is categorised as a "basic need". It seems to me like you will use public tax dollars to feed yourself and other members of government, while making people pay $500 per day for healthcare. Why? To prevent terrorism? I understand why politicians in real life would want to ban Burqas, and while I disagree with it, I see the argument. However I find myself asking this question, how many muslims are going to be playing Identity? Probably quite a few, but not nearly as much as atheists or Christians. I would say that in the US and UK servers, the vast majority, if not all of the terrorist attacks will be carried out by atheists or Christians, not Muslims, and even though some Muslims will play in these countries, I doubt many of them support terrorism. This law helps no one. Looking at all of the points I have raised, can you seriously claim this is a correct statement? Usually I would not be this aggressive, however you have insulted the very people who are voting for you by completely ignoring someones criticisms and belittling them for your own ego. Well, Mr PoorLaVie, I cannot wait to see you respond to a well-written and thoroughly revised list of criticisms. Good luck.
-
1 pointIt's biased for someone in the campaign to demand what information i should have publicly available to be considered in a public poll. Of course any competition will not want me to be "allowed" to be on it. Certainly not when I was in second place in votes.

1 pointMarch 21st 2018 is the first module release, that will be the foundation of the game according to the devs so it will be easier to work on and release the rest of the modules (the public beta may take a while, but the devs want a polished game so it's understandable).

IT'S RARE FOR PEOPLE TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT, FOR THAT REASON AND MORE I SAY THANKS TO THE OTHER CANDIDATES FOR RUNNING, THANKS TO THE VOTERS FOR VOTING AND THANKS TO THE POLLERS FOR POLLING.

1 pointI know it's going to be a lot of work for their team. But with their new employees and the plans they have set, I don't think they can say it will be set to a later date. This is ONLY the Town Square Module! Being in the same building with more experienced people in multiple fields, hopefully they learn from each other and progress faster than they think. They probably are taking their time checking to make sure everything is near perfect and that's respectable, but hopefully they can produce more especially with the new 3D Designer that they are excited to have and the new Developer. Good Luck to their team as we all wait for the release of more content and updates.

1 pointEver check out the Wayback machine? https://web.archive.org/web/20151205213221/http://forums.identityrpg.com/ That's the old forums. The good old times, where you couldn't edit or delete your posts after 10 minutes. Much easier to catch criminals, since they couldn't delete or change the evidence. And I may have gone a little power hungry. lol. Though, I still like the idea behind Misneden Security. Been considered to bring it back. But I'd have to remake the website from scratch. Which would be a pain. And I'm not sure how well it'd work out this time either. So, eh... Whatever.

1 pointAs much as the link does say there will be drugs in the Town square, well unfortunately that information is old and wrong. There will not be any drugs in the Town Square module! It is like what @sp00f_IOM said, that information is unreliable as it has not been updated. Most of it is reliable but some things are not and still it is good to do that research first!

1 point"Oh boy... That's a lot at once. Alright, let me address those I can. Necessary evil, is often just a means to an end. As long as no one gets hurt. Let's look at it like this, rules aren't there to limit you. They're there to protect you. And, well... I'll freely admit it. The system isn't perfect. And if the rules have to be adjusted a bit, in order to catch the bad guy. Then so be it. At the end of the day, if the bad guy is in jail. Everyone wins. I transferred to Identity Island for a change of pace. I mean, who wouldn't be a part of this project? And we've gotten an alarming amount of reports of criminal activity. And not enough was being done with it. Hence why I am here. Since my arrival, crime has been lowered by almost 20% percent. Even Lucious Times served time for his crimes. Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to discuss if I am tracking a specific target. Are the people safe? Well, it depends. Statically, we've had zero deaths, murders, thefts, assaults, grand theft auto, larceny, and whatever else crimes. But I have a feel that all my change sometime in the near future. And when that happens, no one will be safe. I can't personally say I've heard any uproar from the Neighborhood Watch. But if they are unhappy with me, they should take it up with me, or my superiors. Other than that, tough luck I'd say. They don't really any authority. My documents were made freely available for the police department. Leaks were bound to happen with such inter-agency transfers. There is northing sensitive in those documents anyway. Nothing you can't find with a quick Google search. Not sure what advantage you're referring to. And thanks for the offer, I'll keep that in mind." @Killed_IRL

1 pointWhile I love the idea of storage units, I am not thrilled with paying real money in the auctions. Dont get me wrong, I love the idea of the auctions (I thought of the idea myself when reading the original post), but I would vote to pay with in-game currency. I dont disagree with you that Asylum should have some sort of way to generate revenue, but I personally wouldnt want to pay real cash for someone's left over plaid couch or box of nudie mags lol. Just my opinion.

1 pointImportant Note: Currently available Pledge packages are temporary and will no-longer be available for purchase after website-changes are made in the near future. Pledge rewards and account credit will be automatically deducted from the account upon receiving a refund. Administrative action will NOT be taken against accounts that are issued refunds. Refunds can only be processed if purchases fall within the 180 day window Paypal offers for buyer protection. Important Note(STEAM): Due to technical limitations, refunds cannot be provided to accounts that have been manually linked to STEAM by the account holder. If you claim a STEAM Key for the "Identity: Town Square" module, it will no-longer be possible for "Asylum Entertainment Inc." to process refund requests due to our inability to de-activate the steam key after it is claimed via the STEAM desktop client. Future purchases from the STEAM Store or marketplace will require STEAM Support to process any refund requests, and will be subject to STEAM's own refund policy. The Account support forum is not an efficient channel for refund request, as Asylum Entertainment staff and volunteer moderators who would normally visit this forum to offer assistance with account related matters do not have access to its user's financial history with Asylum Entertainment via PayPal or other means. We are committed to pleasing our customers and donators in every way, and we respect that there are personal reasons in which a user may feel compelled to request a refund. We therefore ask that users who would like to request a refund do so via the Paypal website, or through Paypal customer service (1-888-221-1161) - the only method of Payment that we accept at this time. Please allow for a minimum of 5-10 business days for requests to be granted by Asylum Entertainment Inc. We strongly believe this newly recommended process will be much more efficient for those who may experience unintended delays in response to email requests, as it will not require pledgers to provide additional account information, or manual database queries. Asylum Entertainment and its hard-working development team appreciate the patience and understanding of our community members who understand that Game Development is a slow and challenging process. We are a small team working diligently to produce a unique game experience that has never been attempted previously. We thank you for your continued patience and support. Below is a visual guide illustrating the steps required to complete a refund through Paypal services. STEP 1: Select 'Log in' to PayPal STEP 2: Confirm PayPal Log in STEP 3: Select "More" from the ribbon at the top of the page, and then select "Resolution Center" from the drop-down menu. STEP 4: Select "Report a Problem" STEP 5: Find & Select your Pledge Payment to Asylum Entertainment, Inc., and then select "Continue" STEP 6: Choose the most relevant option relating to your problem. For refunds, we recommend selecting, "I have a billing issue" and then pressing continue before choosing "I want to report an issue that's not described". Either way, we'll find it. 1 pointI'm Aryan, and i find this offensive. lmao AB members don't sit on games, they aren't children, its a prison gang, some of you guys can bring up some iffy alright points i suppose, but you also have to remember, that its a game, there's lots of real life gang names used on gta and what not, there's nothing they can really do about it, if the AB even played this game. If they did, and they had the sheer luck of finding you on your particular server, what can they honestly do? try and claim they are real AB and they find it offensive? lol whose going to believe that on the internet? AB is predominately a prison gang, none of them have time to waste their life playing a game like identity in a fictional world when they already live in a world, us roleplayers, try to mimic their reality in a controlled, virtual environment without consequences. We play as criminals on the game, because we find it interesting, and would like to play out how it would be in a real gang, but without consequences like going to real jail and getting it in the butt. We are just nerds wanting a virtual world to dance around in and do whatever we want. People like the AB and members in real gangs, already have that world, in real life, and don't have time for that, they have duties, like making money, cooking dope, what not. Ive personally used Barrio Azteca as a gang name on a roleplay community on arma 3 before, no one found it offensive, i even made it so you had to have a mexican looking character to join lol. No one found my IP address and bashed me because of it. I personally don't care if there's gangs and what not in identity, that have the same name as the ones outside, would probably be better if they had the same kind of gang theme as irl to match though imo, would bring some more realisim to it, would be abit weird to see a gang called Aryan brother hood, and ingame all the members are dark skin.
