6 pointsFrom messages in Identity's official discord (https://discord.gg/ffZ4bX8) it has been confirmed by Beach Ball that tomorrow there will be a Dev Blog with the release date in it! The Devs have been working hard and also plan to release a gameplay footage video sometime next week hopefully On top of all of this, they are making their own anti-cheat so that it is perfect for Identity. What town square will include, in the words of BeachBall the community manager, "town square is pretty much what the name implies, get to check out stuff regarding housing (apartments), cinema, karaoke, social aspect stuff." Later on will come the SWAT Module, which will include some guns to include gunfights to the game, then next should be the racing module, with streets, racetracks and cars. I trust most of you (like me) will be really glad to hear all this See you all in the module Edit: Just to clarify IF for any reason they choose that they need a slight delay, don't be discouraged, it will come Double Edit: More confirmation it should be on the 31st

3 pointsA good game is a game that has been polished and has had effort put into it... just make yourself busy with something else till you can try the modules or even play the full game.

2 pointsAs long as one overstands that democracies cannot coexist with capitalism considering that capitalism serves the interests of the "individual" while a democratic system serves the interests of the "majority" or "whole". Communism serves the interests of the whole while Socialism serves the interests of the majority. Thus, democratic systems are much more aligned with the Left.

2 pointsSounds pretty good to me, seeing as how everyone wants everything from this game and expects so much I'm not complaining. Stream was decent.

2 pointsHey everyone, my name's Brumafriend. I'm from the United Kingdom and got this game a while ago but forgot about it until recently. Now that the game's nearing release, I wanted to greet you all & intend to be an active member of the community.

2 pointsYes, you can break out, people can break you out but beware cops will swarm the place in no time I am sure. You can craft makeshift weapons in prison, sell contraband, and do various jobs or do other various lot of things.

2 pointsFor official servers you will have to complete a tutorial and have a slot available Like @GrandmaGlock said. Private servers will love to have you if you have real life experience and will have a custom training and recruitment system like @Dimmies said. I would recommend learning and experiencing the game on official servers first while communities are made and you can find one to stick with :).

2 pointsThe game trailer confirmed, patrol, SWAT, detective, and DEA. Things can change over time though, especially two years.
-
2 pointsYeah, I was worried people would just see that. It has to be said, but I highly doubt it won't be tomorrow

2 pointsHonestly, at least the developers are polite when addressing concerns, it's the community that have a problem with people who express concern or highlight the developer's accountability. That being said, most of those people are fairly recent backers (a year or so back, give or take) and don't really comprehend that many of us have been waiting for at least double that time. It's why I've stopped voicing an opinion on anything at all. If anything killed my hype, it's not the devs, its the self-proclaimed vanguards of their development process that aggressively respond to any criticism of their lack of meaningful updates with posts like 'Stop criticizing the devs' 'try making the game yourself' 'why don't you get a refund and leave' 'Do you know how long it takes to make a game like this' 'I'm sick of posts asking about x and y'. It's a handful of people, and they know who they are... It's not a constructive way of responding to curious or concerned backers, and I think those members of the community need to behave with a little more tact. Edit: And the developers SHOULD try and listen to their community and the people who have contributed to their project, in response to @Rinyuaru-Kun... The release date's announcement was promised by them for this month, and in my opinion, yes, they should keep their word.

1 pointSorry if this is already answered, but would you be able to be a film crew, with your own cameras and have a TV station? Seems like it could be fun to do with friends

1 pointAlberico Gentili Law Firm Hello, my name is Alberico Gentili and I am a descendant of the original Alberico Gentili who was an Italian lawyer, jurist, and a former standing advocate to the Spanish Embassy in London, who served as the Regius professor of civil law at the University of Oxford for 21 years also known as the "Father of international law". Coming from a string of highly successful independent lawyers and a life of experience as my father was a very successful defense lawyer I have many connections and graduating number one in Yale University Law School. My beliefs are for the people and I believe in the people. As a lawyer, I specialize in defense, contractual, and personal law with common knowledge in most of all legal fields. I believe in my logo and its values it holds, with the law being so looked down upon I try to make a balanced defense for my client. Prices Per Hour - $650 ( 15 Minutes IRL) Per Day - $3,500 (3 hours IRL) **Optional** Personal Full-time lawyer - $5,000 a week. (24 Hours IRL = 1 week in game) (Even if not used) Max of 10 clients at a time. Will be discussed on a case to case if required. Dm me if interested. ** For business owners- I will not represent your company, but with that said I am still a personal lawyer meaning I WILL represent you (As a singular person) in court. ** ** For Politicians- I will not be your equivalent to a state attorney general, as per business owners I am still a personal lawyer meaning I WILL represent you (As a singular person) in court. **

1 pointDisregard this post, and it's contents. I'm working on a new character concept. Which hopefully will be much cooler! While, I was always aware there would be no FBI available in the game since before I made these. I never intended to take it as far as I did. Anyway, thanks for all the great RP. And I'll hope to see you all in the Social Module on March, 21st! (Click the images to enlarge.) Out-Of-Character Please note, this is an In-character document, available only to the police force. However, I don't mind if any outside sources should get their hands on this, and possibly use it against my character. It's all a part of the fun and games, and any good RP story needs something dramatic. I would also really love some feedback on these documents. Please know I reserve the right to change these documents at any time, without notice. Feel free to post here, or PM me with any questions. You can also view the whole high-quality album here. Thank you!

1 pointAt first: National Socialism is a radical anti-semitic, racist, anti-communist and anti-democratic ideology. And I think thats not what we want for the future. And second: The term "Radical Democracy" refers to democracy models or theories of democracy, which only recognize as basic sovereignty of the people and both natural law settlements as influences others through economic power or unauthorized trading institutions such as reject the financial markets as well as the lack of alternatives. We also trust in Democratic Socialism, so we are Radical Left Democrats and I think thats now clear.

1 pointLooking forward to seeing what's coming up, and to see the release daste of the Town Square of course
-
1 pointI agree that quality requires all the time it takes. Better to wait for a good product to use rather than having the satisfaction of starting, but being disappointed and having trouble using it. Anyway, I think that having an exploratory version, even defective and incomplete, can help developers find errors and bugs faster through users reports... so I hope to see the "test" version soon, testing it to improve it

1 pointIt's this behavior that honestly has turned me away from really having a vested interest in the development of this game. I appreciate that you're trying to stick up for the developers, but they really REALLY do not need your help. I prefer hearing a response from them addressing issues (and I'm sure new backers, or people who are on the fence regarding whether to back the project or not) would agree with me. In my opinion, you're doing the game more harm than good. If people want to complain to the developers, okay, that's fine, they can do that... I'm very confident in the developer's abilities to respond and not cave into any 'pressure'. In the end, the developers will release the game when they feel it's ready to be released, yes, I agree with that; and that's precisely the point... No amount of criticism is going to FORCE them to release the module in a state that they would not want us to experience. They don't have a publisher breathing down their neck regarding meeting release dates (Publishers being the only people, at this point in development, capable of really pressuring them to release anything). TL;dr: I have faith in the publishers being able to release the module without feeling any 'pressure' from criticism, as they've proven they're professional with regards to handling negative comments and criticism, they don't need anyone to stick up for them/aggressively respond to anyone on their behalf. Again, this is all my opinion, and should not be considered as me trying to stop you from what you do, you're entitled to behave how you see fit... I just think that this particular behavior has harmed the production of this game more than it has benefited it, and I'm speaking from my personal hype (I'm a $100 backer, from Kickstarter).

1 point@Narc I assume you mean "The Rare Breed" and "Rare Breed". It becomes a gray area of the law just like having a restaurant called The McDonald would be. If they are too similar, then yes, it becomes an issue. The only thing is as long as the developers take down the name when asked/brought to their attention, they won't get in trouble. The worst that would probably happen is the person will be visited but if the devs take it down it might not be worth pursuing.

1 pointHmhmmm shame, so many of them wanna be mods, and so few of them show any inclination to actually help.
-
1 pointNot just the developers, but the handful of people in the community that feel the need to put people down constantly because of posts expressing concern or accountability on a dead line the devs set and fail to meet time after time.
-
1 pointWell I mean, asking someone to keep their promises is not quite the same as rushing someone. They put the deadline on themselves. If more people tried to keep people from Hello Gaming honest, we may not have had such a lacklustre no man's sky(obviously counter-factual, we'll never know that for sure.) But I think people should try to keep the devs honest, and not turn a blind eye to them. It's a good thing overall and the devs need to get used to it.
-
1 pointSo the Devs shouldn't shouldn't listen to anyone that quotes them because in your opinion anyone that attempts accountability is wrong and should be shamed. Your go to weapon, you do it every time. Also its got nothing to do with rushing the devs, people post topics like this because of the repeated patterns of unrealistic goals and announcements. Anyone that has been following this since 14 would be hard pressed to say that there isn't an issue.

1 point3D modeling can be difficult to get into, especially when you go into programs like Maya or 3DS Max, the UI is insanely intimidating. Check out some of my stuff! https://brendan3d.com/portfolio/

1 pointIt seems like your one problem might not be much of a problem after all. In Identity, it's mostly just low influence (mostly cosmetic) items which cannot be lost. Things like your debit card, your clothing, and so on. Items which don't give you a strength but instead offer convenience. Most other things can indeed be lost. If you die out in the woods because you thought you could fist fight a bear then you might not have lost much, as there's a good chance you could get back to that place before everything despawns. When someone else is around though, they can loot your corpse and take what's dropped. This is mostly an issue of convenience, and we go for a balance of such versus risk. We fully understand that for life to be exciting, death has to be scary. At the same time, why make people go back to their closet and change their outfit over and over again?
