3 pointsThe devs promised to announce the release date this month for the Town Square module, I'm not pining for it, I am just curious whether or not they'll actually go through with it. I am not saying it's too late either, the most logical time would be around Haloween, or at the very end of the month, but that's closing in. That's why I thought I'd make a poll, what do you guys and ladies think? I think it'd be a very bad move for them to postpone announcing the release date with so many people sceptical about them already, another lie will not service their cause...

2 pointsNot exactly I do not believe. The houses / apartments are "half instanced" and so you won't see a loading screen but also with the apartments, you go up the elevator you seamlessly load in. With houses, you do sort of the same thing, you open the door and walk in without a loading screen (seamless) and you will be in another instance meaning you cannot see outside cars going by or such.

2 pointsI like your idea even better! So the only units available for auction DO contain some sort of inventory content(expired leases w/ 0 inventory just remove access from the renter). As far as the difficulty of previewing the unit, I REALLY don't know. I know I read, or heard in an interview with John that you would be able to rotate items, lets say in a car trunk, to make them fit/make room for other things(I assumed they meant 3d real time(like furniture placement), and not just 2D rotation of an item's inventory image on a grid) if the prior IS the case, I assume a storage unit would share a similar codebase and be quicker(relative) to implement. The preview idea would be really cool, but I'm thinking very frugally with what I think might impact server/network performance(but the whole Storage unit idea might be a bigger database than housing, IDK lol), it must be my Arma 3 PTSD. I guess we need to see how the town square module performs to get some sort of baseline to ground our ideas, expectations, and feature requests to reality. But it doesn't hurt to throw the ideas out now, hopefully some other people chime in with theirs and/or a developer gets a light bulb while we wait for the first module. aside: I was thinking much more free market ruthless with the auctions at the time I wrote about that. "awww, no items in unit, try again!" lol

2 pointsThere is nothing to apologize for, they have a track record for letdowns and all I'm saying is I hope they live up to what they said this time.

1 pointLet's get reaaaaaddyyyy tooooo ruuuumbleee! The crowd of players cheer as the champions make their way to the ring for the ultimate showdown of the month; WayMeather VERSUS Monnor Ccgregor (names changed due to copyright laws ). People begin throwing money in betting for their chosen warrior to reign superior tonight! Who will win? Purchase a ticket or pay-per-view on your TV to find out live! I would love to see careers in the boxing industry - another form of entertainment that people can also bet on. Boxers, managers, trainers, gamblers, and fans would all make up the industry If you like the idea let me know!

1 pointHello, I know it is technically hard but I would love to have a Fashion Show Room. Ofc, if clothes and shoes are already in a General-Global Shop that cant work, but maybe It will be possible to buy an "exclusive sale" for some products with a fee. The best solution, for me, will be to create my own product to sell... but I know this feature will be not improved at the moment. I had a good success with my creations in other platforms so I cross fingers for this career opportunity HERE... hoping to have the possibility in the future. have a great day to all, Valya

1 pointHello. Some of you may know me, some of you may not. I have very close connections with many members of this community, and over time I have been using those connections to gain information. Information which could lead to the unfortunate dismay of anyone who crosses me. I cannot reveal much, but I have extreme influence over some powerful figures in this community. I have decided to go public with this so I can begin to give and get what I want to anyone I want, not just those who already have worked for me.

1 pointNot sure that soon, but when Town Square gets released the store prices are meant to go up and certain things you can get now will no longer be available. Sorry if i didn't exactly answer your question
-
1 pointThat seems a bit complicated, and I don't honestly think they will be able to add all of these complex jobs everyone is asking for But yeah it sounds like it would be really fun to do with some friends and would be a good laugh chasing people with cameras demanding questions
-
1 point1. 300 - 500 no specific as they need to test before knowing that. 2. Voice chat is VOIP meaning if you whisper in the mic then you whisper in chat, if you shout, you shout in game.
-
1 pointGame studios are very reluctant to add children to games, and unfortunately, I really don't think it will be added to Identity. Obviously you most of us are normal, but there are some odd people out there who would do some unpleasant things, so they don't add children AI to most games, and even in games you can add them, you can't harm/kill them. As for the other jobs, they sound like really good ideas and I think they are planned already thankfully so you should see them coming later on in the game.
-
1 pointJust remember it is way too early to get a good estimate and so these things said here about requirements are more on the module and could change in any way for the full game/ at a later point but the best you can be sure about is if you can run GTA V, ARK or ArmA 3 then you should be fine
-
1 pointThese sound about right, but since it is a first module coming out it may be a bit harder as it could be the case that is isn't fully optimised, to begin with. Hopefully it will be all good though

1 pointI hope the low moderation on Official servers isn't a problem for very long once the game comes out, I feel like that would discourage people from playing on those servers, which would suck for the people who do... I feel like they would need to create a network of trusted people to become mods/admins so that many of the Official servers can get the moderation it needs to give a good PR image.

1 pointI intend to invest in a television in order to entertain guests and/or room-mates. However, Damien Malik would prefer to invest in a cellular phone, laptop, bed, and desk prior to investing in a couch and television.

1 pointIf you're worried about if you're going to not be able to run the game, I can take a look at your specs for you and take a good guess. Well, partially a guess. I got some insight from devs and most intel on game GPU's and processors.

1 point"Congratulation Officer Simms. You made it, now its time to play." The lights shut off and then back on White Mask is standing in the middle of the hockey rink with his arms crossed looking at Simms behind the glass. Simms pulled his gun and shoots the glass, and then hops over the wall on to the ice. meanwhile Sanchez makes his way to the production room. The door was locked so Sanchez kicked the door in. Sanchez stops as he see a man in the room, Sanchez pulls his gun. "Freeze hands in the air." The man slowly turns around with a crazy look on his face. "Oh shit Tom Two Times, I put you in Jail for life..how did you get out?" Tommy Two Times runs at Sanchez screaming with his hands up and tackles Sanchez to the ground. Tommy Two Times gets the upper hand and sits on top of him. Spit coming from Tommys mouth as he screams into Sanchez face. "One, Two" Tommy Two Times lays hay makers into Sanchez's face. "Right, Left, One, Two, Left, right" Tommy Two Times is just laying into Sanchez beating his face in with his fist. blood starting to splatter every time he punches him now. *BAM BAM* Simms stops looking up and over to where the production room is. "Oh no it looks like your buddy got that double tap friend." White Mask says. Simms looks back over at White Mask. "Its over White Mask the SWAT team will be here less than five minutes your done, just put your hands behind your back." Simms said as White Mask holds up a finger. "Now hold on there Simmy boy. I have something you might want to see. OH BOBBY!" Bob the Butcher opens the wall from the other side of the ice and steps on the ice. He is seen with a chain in his hand and pulls two other people onto the ice. "Ta da!" White Mask holds his arms out and does a double take over at Bob. "Bob get the hell out of the way so we can see who you have." Bob moves out of the way, as its Simms daughter and wife are chained together by the hands. Simm's wife is on her knees as his daughter is standing up both crying and are at eye level with each other. "Come with me for a walk Mr. Simmy" White Mask makes his way over to the wife and daughter, As Simms would follow. of course his face seeing his family was shocked, angry, maybe a tear not knowing what to do."Now don't touch not until I say. lets put the finishing touch here." White Mask reaches into his jacket pocket pulling a grenade out. He moves closer to the Simms family, he pets the little girl on the top of head "No tear my little sweetheart I have a gift for you." White Mask places the grenade into her hand. He then grabs the wife's hand and cups it under the little girls hand. The little girl holds the grenade up as her mom holds her hands tightly" Now you two do not drop this nade or we all go Boom" He laughs and pulls the pin from the grenade."Now if you can" White Mask throws the pin from the grenade across the ice. "Find the pin you two can go free, its that simple I swear!" White mask places his hands behind his back and walks pass the two holding the grenade over to Bob the Butcher. Simms quickly ran over to them cupping his hands over theirs. Bob the butcher hands White mask a black baseball bat. White Mask bows slightly to Bob grabbing the baseball bat and spins it around whistling as he is making his way back to the three. White Mask grabs Simms by his collar pulling him off the grenade and his family, and since they are on ice Simms would slide even farther away from his family. White Mask would turn the family and points his bat at them. "If I were you two I would go find that pin before the little princess there drops the grenade, cause welllllllllll she looks a little shaky." With tears coming from their eyes they start looking for the pin. it was now a game called needle in a haystack. "You Psycho!" Simms gets to his feet, he takes three to four steps after his family but White Mask spins around and wacks Simms across his knee caps. laughter is heard. "Way to go Nacy Kerrigan! your not getting the gold medal that easy" He laughs again and then spins his bat around placing it on his shoulder. "I never miss Simms...I am like Babe Ruth I always swing for the fences and hit them out of the park!" He laughs again as Simms lays on the ice in pain looking over at his family looking for the Pin. "Susan!" Simms reaches out for her as they search the ice for the pin on the other side of the ice. . .. ... .... ........*BOOM* "Oh dear it looks like the little one could not hold the grenade I knew I should of gave it to your wife Simms." White Mask reaches into his pocket and drops the pin in front of Simms. White Mask turns and laughs tossing baseball bat over to Bob the Butcher. but slips on the ice, but luckily he holds his arms out and catches himself from falling on the ice but does have a nice split going. White Mask fixes himself "Time to go Bobo" (Simms your up I sent you and email back btw)

1 pointI do not think it is a matter of it being possible or, not. It is a matter of cost and, resources needed to add it in the game. Then I must ask to you how important this is to you? What would you be willing to sacrifice to get this in the game? I am just asking you all this to help you get a better out look on what you are really asking for.
-
1 pointI could see paying real cash for the units themselves. That isnt a terrible idea. Assuming that when you win a unit at an auction, you only get the content inside, not the unit itself. I agree with you about it being hard to quantify the value of IG currency since its so early in the game. I really like the idea of Storage wars to be honest. Do you think it would be hard to preview what is in the unit you are bidding on before the bidding begins?

1 pointA Death sentence does sound like a good solution, although, I feel that would need to be decided by a trial, just to remove any trolls from inside the PD. Of course, they did say the 45 minute max time might be changed at a later date, but I personally feel as if 45 minutes is a good start. Its long enough for it to really inconvenience you, but not long enough to make you have to stop RP, and leave your PC on with Identity running while you're off at the Grocery store for 2-3 hours. Although, custom servers may have the ability to lower/raise that timer.
-

-
1 pointI would say at least a minimum of 45 minutes to a maximum of 2 or 3 hours maybe? or Perhaps a "death sentence" is a point where you start over again so if you are trolling and that is what is identified then you will have to restart all over with your character so this way trolls would be found out and get tired of being restarted over and over :D. (also just realised without reading your second paragraph we both thought the same thing XD).

1 pointThere is no information about the system requirements yet. If you can run Games like GTA5, ARK or ARMA3 you can also run Identity.

1 pointI have put together a small thread regarding some of the potential parties and individuals who have made their cases. I thought it would be enjoyable. Underneath is a small clarification on each party/individual listed. The graph goes as follows: Thomas Hetch: Thomas Hetch supports a controlled environment for guns, however not a complete shutdown of guns. He also supports regulations on corporations, and death penalty. His healthcare plan consists of packages, which suggests a right sided economical mindset. I would place Thomas Hetch as a strong Progressive, considering his values lies with economical growth, and a sustainable and controlled environment. Mr. Lucious: Lucious supports privatization on most fronts, meaning that his economical values consists of little tax, and freedom for corporations, however his ethical mindset is very liberal, since he supports open borders, and no oil drilling. He also believes in the freedom of the people, and wants limited government control. I would place Lucious is a well-rounded Libertarian. Bobby Cruz: Bobby Cruz's campaign is a very left leaning one, considering his government involvement in healthcare and gun control. He has a strong emphasis on wanting the best thing for the people, and keep the people safe. Bobby Cruz is a solid Social Democratic. FrancePourLaVie: FrancePourLaVie is a very Authoritarian politician, believing in strong government influence when it comes to the freedom of travel and religious beliefs. He believes highly in his police force and places a lot of emphasis on the development of the police force. He believes in the death penalty, and his economical mindset is a flat tax with little to no tax cut. FrancePourLaVie is a strong Nationalist. CCP: The CCP believes in very low taxes, and little to no government influence on the people. They still have a small form of gun control, however they place strong emphasis on their freedom for corporations to roam freely. The CCP is Ultra Capitalists. https://www.conservativecoalitionparty.com/ TPP: Not much is known about this party, other than the Tax plan provided. The taxes are exponential in the growth, and the more you earn, the more you pay. The economics of such a system, means fewer rich people and fewer poor people. This is a very offset mindset, in comparison to the other parties. I place TPP as Authoritarians, without any other knowledge than their tax plan. NSIP: They believe in any form of control that the government can have, their taxes are also above 85%, and they believe that a strong government is what is required for a growing economy and that people are meant to be led. The NSIP is Nationalistic Communists. --- You can disagree with the graph, however I just made on the basis of my first read over the platform of each individual. If something has changed, I would not have seen it, and I apologies. That concludes my overview, and can I just say that I find it amazing how well thought out some of these ideas are! Amazing work.. PS: If I missed someone, don't be afraid to speak up, I will take a look at your platform, and tell you where you are, in comparison to the other parties.

1 pointA bit of a heads up buddy having multiple forum accounts is against the rules so you may want to rethink going public. Unless of course you really have no useful information and are just trying to send a message that you should be "feared" and have power over the populace. That would explain why you are going public as being silent would be far more effective than drawing lots of unwanted attention. Personally If I was gathering information across members on the forums I would want to stay hidden and use the mysterious statues not only to my advantage but to avoid prosecution from forum moderators. That or you're just a media whore who just wants attention.

1 pointI just have personal objections to the philosophy behind communism that's honestly not going to change from a conversation on the forums. Also, I haven't seen one real world example where a communist state did NOT turn completely totalitarian with massive suffering of the people. When the whole idea of communism is behind rejecting the sovereignty of the individual (Marx), what stops the communist state from inflicting any amount of oppression and violence on the people in the name of the collective good?

1 pointIdentity Forum Guidelines Last Edit: July 9th, 2018 Participation in the Official Identity forums constitutes agreement to the following guidelines, which apply to posts, profile information, avatars, signatures, private messaging, and any other content on this site and participation in general. The live nature of discussions in this community makes it difficult for staff to catch every violation of these rules. If you believe that someone has violated our User Guidelines, please send a private message to a member of our volunteer moderation team or staff with a link to the content and a brief description of what you believe is wrong. Please do not respond to a violation personally, as you may aggravate the situation and possibly violate our guidelines yourself. Any content that violates our User Guidelines will be removed. Interpretation of our guidelines is at the discretion of the staff. Please do 1. Report violations of the forum rules. Moderators will quickly review reports and make decisions based on the information you provide. 2. Respect others. Showing respect will encourage others to participate in discussion. 3. Like posts, that you feel contribute useful information to a discussion. 4. Read the rules, so that you do not accidentally receive an infraction or ban. 5. Be constructive. Help others by answering questions, and offer feedback to their ideas. 6. Read before posting. Fully Comprehend the topic of discussion and determine what has already been discussed. 7. Use proper grammar and spelling. Read your post before submitting. Spelling mistakes may attract attention away from the discussion. 8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for! Please don’t 1. Troll. Trolling does not contribute to meaningful discussion. 2. Spam. Spamming clutters the forum and makes it difficult to find original content. 3. Flame, or attack others. Insults do not contribute to discussion, and will be removed. 4. Repost Deleted Content. Content that was deleted was removed for a reason, even if the reason is unclear. 5. Demonstrate or perpetuate toxic behavior. A user is considered toxic if they repeatedly make defamatory, threatening, insulting, or otherwise hateful remarks toward other users or staff. Please keep language civil when expressing your opinions. 6. Advertise websites or services unrelated to Identity. We do not sell advertising space on the Identity forums. 7. Cross Post. Cross-posting makes it difficult for users using the search function to find relevant information, and may be considered spam. 8. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. 9. Abuse reports. Reporting content with blank or inaccurate report descriptions will hinder a moderator's capacity to help. Please report content that is in violation of the rules, and not simply because you personally dislike another user. 10. Engage rule violators. You may accidentally violate these rules yourself by responding to others that you feel aren’t following these guidelines. 11. Make low-effort posts. Contribute useful information to the discussion, and avoid going off-topic. 12. Discuss Politics/Religion. These subjects are sensitive and may offend others. (There is a small place for fantasy politics within Identity's ecosystem. The Governor position will be able to tweak small settings within the game world, and must compete against others for power. The political systems within Identity are simplified and do not accurately reflect the processes involved with political discourse in the real world. Players may implicitly take inspiration from existing candidates or parties, but must not show any connections to real world politics through the use of logos/symbols, names (of existing leaders, existing parties, or of those within recent history), or slogans. By affiliating your party with a real world political faction, you are bringing such politics into discussion and grabbing the attention of those who recognize it. Real world politics typically invoke a strong emotional response in some viewers and can lead to vehement conflicts extremely quickly.) 13. Create multiple accounts. Only one account per person is authorized, so forum users can be easily identified. Avoiding a ban may result in further permanent action. 14. Operate a shared account. Sharing an account with another user will make conversation difficult should any of the account operators share a difference in opinion. Conflicting statements will impede our ability to help assist any single user on a shared account. Due to this, we request that each account is operated by a single, separate user. 15. Create forum posts that mention specific users in the title. Creating a new topic with the title specifically mentioning another user isn’t conducive to group discussion, especially if the targeted user isn’t comfortable responding in an open format. (For example, don’t make posts like “@usernamehere, why is x and not y?”) If you’re asking a question directly to another user, please do so using the inbox function on the forums. 16. Post Personal Information, or post links containing personal information. Sharing information about others can be harmful to their real-life. 17. Use forum features in unintended ways. Asking for likes, or making a game that incorporates the like/follow buttons artificially inflates user forum stats, making it difficult for other users to determine which content or user is contributing popular content to the site. 18. Discuss Moderator or Administrator actions Publicly. There are often reasons why a decision is made by a moderator or administrator that may be unclear to outside-parties, and off-topic discussion about an admin or moderator decision may be disruptive to a conversation. We politely ask that you trust and respect decisions made by staff. If you have an issue with a specific staff member, please report the matter to a Community Manager. 19. Impersonate Asylum Entertainment Staff or Moderators. When users seek assistance from moderators or Asylum staff, they shouldn't need to worry about encountering the possibility of dealing with an impostor. Always heed the official titles for staff roles on both the forums and discord to help avoid confusion. 20. Intentionally Spread False Information. Spreading rumors you know are falsified and portraying them as fact will only complicate Identity's development and serves to derail the actual constructive criticism offered by other users. Even accidentally giving out false information can be dangerous, so please ask a staff member or reference official statements (Dev Blogs for example). 21. Post or link to illegal, dangerous, offensive or NSFW content. Do not engage in activities that include (but are not limited to) the sharing of sexually explicit content, piracy, malicious code execution (viruses, malware, spyware etc.), gore. Please keep posts pertaining to the M-rated content in Identity reasonable. 22. Create or operate an account with the intention of solely boosting or supporting another user's reputation, poll votes, or opinions. We ask that all users contribute to the forums in ways that don't simply perpetuate someone else's particular viewpoint or account statistics. ***Moderators and staff have the final say on all matters. If you would like to report moderator abuse, contact a Community Manager directly. Creating public threads or posts that question or reference administrative decisions or potential administrative decisions is not permitted.*** ***Freedom of speech rights do not extend to privately owned websites, such as this one.
