3 pointsI'm not one to tell you how to behave, but you should maybe react a little less virulently when disproving other's point or debating with someone... You always are quite aggressive, and every opinion that doesn't go your way gets the same hateful-ish block of text in return. Well, do as you want, but that might not be the greatest of ideas since it it doesn't make people want to debate with you.

2 pointsI think that all the staff have done well and are a great help! We may not see all on the forum but behind the scenes, everyone is doing a great job! Also I think @Beach_Ball is whacking that ball perfectly with his new position. It has been fantastic to also see the community appreciating more of what the devs do (not saying they have not appreciated it) but I am saying it is being seen more frequently! I would like to say thank you to the community for the respect they keep in the community! LuckyDuck.

2 points(I’m here guys) TV Starts Playing an Add for The Chairman Hotel. ”The Chairman Hotel offers the finest experience in the area. With our luxury suites and 24 on hand Maid Service you’re never going to have to lift a finger.” The TV exploded as Gene gets tossed through it. As he stands up he cracks his back. ”Fuck you.” Gene says as he swings his arm at the man. Missing he punches straight through a wall. “Ahhh!” ”Are you sure you want to dance with the devil?” His Irish Accent was thick and apparent. Gene held his arm. “Only if I lead.” He charges at the man before a flashback of a conversation he had months ago. ”White Mask, who is he exactly?” ”Nobody knows. Do you want us to find out?” ”No.. Do you know what optimism is Jake?” ”Yes sir.” ”Well from my point of view he’s a beacon of hope in our world. He’s showing the Mafia, Biker Clubs, Gang’s and Wanna Be Badasses that we can fight against the law. That we get.. what we want. When nobody believes in the law then the government will fall. And when the government falls we profit off the anarchy that follows.” ”What if that’s not what’s happening?” “Hmm?” Gene points a pistol at Jake and shoots him in the head. “Don’t assume the best. Because this is the best it’s gonna get.” Once the flashback ends Gene stands over the dead body of the Irish man. Sweat dripping down his forehead. He picks up the Irish Mans phone and makes a call. As it rings you hear a faint hello. ”It’s me again... We have to talk.”

2 pointsNever claimed this game won't happen. Just want to see what people think is so special about this "release date anouncement".... There have been plenty of "release dates" mentioned. So why is this one so special? I'm glad to see how people are so sensitive on this forum they come to conclusions so fast without reading. P.S. - What I said about people overhyping this release, is people are forgetting that this is a SOCIAL module, which will be VERY basic in terms of gameplay. I am just very worried and stated my opinion on the development process. I didn't even imply that I think this game isn't going to happen. Uninstall that term from your hardcore fanboy heads, because I believe this game will happen and will be great, but alas, only the future can tell.

1 pointWe at Asylum Entertainment are very excited to tell you, our community, how you will be able to get into the game sooner than you think! Identity's modules are small portions of Identity which will be released before Identity is ready for the world. This lets you experience part of the game months sooner than otherwise possible. The first module you'll be getting your hands on is a social environment which we've called Town Square. The Town Square will include all major social components, and will allow you to finally create and customize your characters. You can meet hundreds of new people and explore several cool features of the peaceful city life. For more details on Town Square, check out the modules page on the Identity website. Following the release of Town Square you'll experience SWAT player versus player action and eventually vehicle races of all sorts. We'll be bringing you more information on the modules as they progress!

1 pointno, but can be good for detail as to when it rains, that we can see actual clouds etc.as well as the clouds could pass over. It would be a good addition of detail but it being implemented would after full release if anything.

1 pointYou can still look up into the sky, so either way it will be interesting to see even if no aircrafts (IMO)

1 pointGood points. I still think as a gameplay mechanic restricting 3rd person to everything besides holding a weapon would be worth exploring, depending on how the camera works in 3rd person anyway, some are better than others. I guess we will need to see how the base level balance of risk/reward and how actual gameplay goes. My thinking was if the 3rd person view does create such an unfair advantage for the attacker, then they could counter balance that with a 1st person only with weapons, or even only when the weapon is at the ready(sighted in). I agree with the looks aspect too, it would be cool to take screenshots of you and your gang kitted out, just not aimed down sights. Anyway it ends up I'm cool with, just a thought. EDIT: Or scrap my idea entirely and maybe decrease accuracy by some amount.

1 pointA lot of people don’t like restrictions, they like their personal choice, stopping someone from choosing can cause a lot of hate, or some people might like new things, might be a first person lover but would like to try third person, but the game is first and third person anyways, restrictions would only ruin the game due to not much freedom of choice. I personally prefer both because some things look better in first like driving or holding a gun like you said, but sometimes I like the look of seeing your character hold the gun, which is why third and person freedom of choice is good, you get the angle you want for anything. (Sorry for huge paragraph, feel like it really explains the whole situation in one tbh)

1 pointI think a cool way to do it would be restricted 3rd person. So if a player has a gun out it forces them to first person. I imagine it will take some short period of time to pull out a gun, at which point the camera could zoom down over that players head and into first person view. Third person allowed at all other times.

1 pointIt's amazing how good people's questions can be... Instantly brings those questions to my own head

1 pointyou can customize parts for your car but i doubt they would let you make your own unique car from scratch especially how that would use alot of data on most identity servers and would most likely make the servers run really slow.

1 pointThat's exactly why they said "Can't handle old movies" instead of "old movies suck ass" like an average Internet dweller would have said Appreciate the attention, @acenewton1

1 pointI have to agree with this, Motown has been such a good friend to me whether it's chatting about Identity and the forums, or giving me tips on my 3D modeling!

1 point@Motown and @Beach_Ball should be thanked as well. Motown did a great job as a community manager and is now helping the game come faster to us. Although Beach_Ball is the new community manager, he has done good so far!

1 pointIt seems like your one problem might not be much of a problem after all. In Identity, it's mostly just low influence (mostly cosmetic) items which cannot be lost. Things like your debit card, your clothing, and so on. Items which don't give you a strength but instead offer convenience. Most other things can indeed be lost. If you die out in the woods because you thought you could fist fight a bear then you might not have lost much, as there's a good chance you could get back to that place before everything despawns. When someone else is around though, they can loot your corpse and take what's dropped. This is mostly an issue of convenience, and we go for a balance of such versus risk. We fully understand that for life to be exciting, death has to be scary. At the same time, why make people go back to their closet and change their outfit over and over again?

1 pointI agree with @Genesai ! I invested $150 because I believe that this game is going to be amazing and how hard working they are. I believe in their vision.
-
1 pointI agree. You all at Asylum are working so hard and I am so excited to see what the future holds for Identity. I really believe it’s going to be a remarkable game. Thanks again so much. We appreciate you all.

1 pointI grabbed the 250 pledge as well, it certainly wasn't for the 2k, and other stuff that come with it...I bought a PC so I could play this game, and put aside 250 for games, but decided I wanted to see Identity come to life more than having a few extra games. While I wait for it to get developed, I have been enjoying all sorts of games that I could never play on console. To me, I think they are gonna need as much help as they can get. They definitely bit off more than they could chew, but getting more developers involved and getting their new office space, from the help and support from their player base. When they started this they knew they couldn't do it alone, so they got help from kickstarter, and the pledges made since then that have enabled them to go from mission impossible to mission attainable. PC gamers have the unique option to get involved with alot of the games that they play. I realize everyone don't have money growing on trees, niether do I. I had to make sacrifices to pledge that much. But Identity could be a game changer. If they can gamble and put everything on the table to make it a reality. I will do what I can to see that it becomes one of the games that really distinguishes PC gaming from consoles. I played consoles for so long, and I don't want this game to come to console atleast till consoles are rocking mini gtx 1080's or something like that. If I can get 250 before these pledges end I will definitely drop it...cause as enormous as Identity plans to be they are gonna need as much help as they can get. Being frugal only gets you so far...and honestly looking at how much and how long Rockstar put into GTA V with all their resources. I don't even think they should do 15-30 dollar pledges. I think they are hurting themselves giving away this game for that lil even though its for development so they don't scare the penny pinchers away. Games that don't get enough support from their player base either fail to come to light, or get outside funding from another source that usually wants to have alot of say over how things get made from that point on with their money. Which translates into a possibly alot of things changing and suffering so pledge as much as you can afford depending on how bad you want to see idnetity come to life, and not how cheap you can jump on the band wagon for...just my 25 cents
