2 pointsHello there, the game will be done when it is done and that won't be this year! However we will get 3 modules and a beta before the full game. If you have the Founder package, then you will get access to the modules and beta. The modules are small pieces of the game, consisting of the "Town Square" module, "S.W.A.T." module and the "Racing" module. Here is a link to read more upon the 3. You can click the Town Square and you will see even more info on that also with the progress bar at the bottom which is only updated when the devs feel like they have hit a milestone. https://www.identityrpg.com/info/modules/

2 points(sorry for the delay I know you all were itching to see what the great white mask will do next. I had a Hurricane hit down here so we are trying to get back to normal..but that is no excuse I know...So let the fun begin!!) Quickly wakes up in a sweat looking around not knowing where he is. He notices that he is sitting in a car, and grips the steering wheel. He then goes to his neck and feels a collar around his neck. "What the hell?" The passenger side car door opens and the man in the white mask looks down inside the car at the driver. "Well hello there Mr. Kevin...can I call you Kev? or is Kevin better?" The man in the white mask starts to sit down passenger side seat holding, a 6 pack of energy drink, a pack of M&M's, a box of cookies, and a big bowl of Popcorn. He plops down but his popcorn goes every where spilling inside and outside of the car " Damn small cars..I really wanted to have popcorn and M&M's together...oh man so GOOD! " The man in the white mask flicks a couple popcorn's off his lap and then drops the rest of the food and drinks by his feet. "Alrighty then Kev my man.." Closes the passenger side door. "I know you are like what the hell is going on, whats this thing on my neck, why is this dude voice is getting higher as he speaks." He laughs and shoulder slaps Kevin. "So we are going to play a little game slash how well you listen.." He claps his hands together and rubs them " Ok so as you can see we are in a car yes? that is correct my young padawan. This is a Mustang I think..a red Mustang GT..I know nothing about cars I just see the logo on the steering wheel so....if I was a betting man I would bet that this a Mustang GT. Now I did have someone boost the power up on this thing make it not street legal as you racers like it call it. " His voice changes into a good old southern Boy "So that means this son a bitch has power BOY" He laughs reaching down between his legs and pops one of the Energy drinks off its rings. and pops it open placing into the cup holder between them. "Alright so you know your in a bad ass car...now I bet you want to know whats around your neck? Have you ever seen the movie Speed? You know the one with the bus that can't drop under what 50, 60 miles an hour or KABLEWIE!?" He makes a blowing up motion with his hands. "Think of that but not that..you see the faster you go the PH balance that will inject into you will keep you calm so you can perform your job. BUT! if you slow down you will get shot with a chemical that will make you speed up to the point that it will make your heart explodes." He points to the dash where there is a LED screen. "Here it will show you if your getting a little to hyper so what does that mean Kev? that's right go faster to knock out the bad chemical. I know what your going to say..." He changes his voice and trys to talk like Kevin " Bruh if I go fast my adrenaline will go up that makes no sense bruh." He tilts his head at Kevin "Duh Bruh stay calm and drive, thats the whole point..I swear your listening skill are not very good..." White Mask shakes his head "oh and if you think you can pull a Back fist Batman punch on me and just walk out and leave..as soon as you hop out of the car the collar will release a all of its adrenaline chemical into your body and you will die..so lets not do that. Just play my game and you will live. So rules are go fast, don't punch me, don't stop for red lights or Cops and especially do not and I repeat do not stop for old ladies crossing the street." White Mask laughs and reaches into his jacket pocket pulling out a straw. He places the straw into the energy drink and lifts it up to his mouth area...well where it would be if he didn't have a mask on. he lowers the can places the straw under his mask taking a sip. "WOOO ok I want you to get me to the other side of the Island...but first...you must answer this...." He places the energy drink back down in the cup holder. "Get this right and I won't turn on the collar for 5 minutes...get it wrong and I add twice the amount of adrenaline juice...Deal? Deal" "What is harder to catch...the faster you run?" He looks at him then down at his watch "you have five minute to answer Sir Kevin....and in that five minutes you better hit the gas and go no matter if you get it wrong or right.." (( @Dekan your up. @ChimeraSix where you at? @Norway174 where are you at we are on season 2? and if anyone wants to join please jump in PM anyone that you want to RP with or start a new RP and see who shows up. PLEASE we need more people

1 pointThere's never been a more exicting time for the Identity development team than right now. We're growing from a small team of passionate and skilled developers into a true studio with real development horsepower. Asylum Entertainment's New Home Identity is being produced by a very small team, although with our new office (see above) we're on a hiring craze and expanding in a big way. In fact, our programming team is going to be three times larger by the end of September. That's only the tip, too, as we're also bringing in a full-time dedicated community manager so that you get the regular updates from the team which you deserve. Our art team is also expanding with some of the most incredible talent in the industry. It pains us that Identity has seen delays; we truly want the game in your hands as soon as possible. With our modest team it's been a difficult road but, with the great help of yourself and other backers, it's full-steam ahead. Once we're situated in our new office (we get the keys in one week) and your new community manager is ready to go, it's our intention keep this great community in constant contact with the team! New in the Town Square If you've been watching closely on the IdentityRPG Twitch Channel, which is live for a Q&A with the developers every Tueday through Thursday, you've seen a lot of art these last few weeks. From concept art to screenshots and clothing, below are just a few of the pieces we've shown, plus something new for good measure. We're really pushing the development streams now, too. You'll be able to watch environment artist Antoine at work Wednesday, August 30 at 1PM EST. Moving forward, we're going to try to give you at least one development stream every single week. Watch Twitter for announcements. Town Square Clothing Store Remember the clothing store concept art we showed last month? This in-game screenshot shows how concept translates to reality (minus the actual clothing). Another new addition, ambiant radio, brings this scene to life. When you walk into this clothing store you'll notice music playing from the speakers. It's not just music in our game, either, it's real streaming radio playing songs you know. Different stores can now play ambiant music that matches their style and enhances immersive atmosphere. Ash Hill Police HQ Concept The Ash Hill police station will open it's doors in the Town Square module shortly after its release. Seen above is the concept for the lobby, locker room (where players "sign in" as an officer) and the shooting range. The shooting range will be available in the Town Square to give you a feel for weapons in Identity before you get your hands on the SWAT module. Ash Hill Barber Concept While a large variety of player customizations will be available during your initial character creation, some options are reserved for locations in the world. Barber shops, like the Ash Hill Barber you'll find in the Town Square shown above, will have additional hair options; other shops around the land will present different styles. Some rarer character customization options may be unlocked through gameplay achievements. A peak at pledge rewards Below are concept pieces of the pledge rewards you may already own. Our new website, almost ready to go, will bring new options while some of the existing will no longer be available. Pledge Reward Concepts -- John VanderZwet

1 pointI was wondering if there are any poeple from sweden here? I think one of the developers is swedish norwegian but not 100% sure

1 pointHello, Last time I have seen that people are getting pissed off. Right now the most of the questions are going about the release date and I see slowly that people are pissed off because of that. (Including me) This has got to STOP I'm just almost ready to quit the forums because of this. What does people matter? There is a F*cking search bar. Anyone got to say anything about it?

Anyway I am glad to be here finally with the few that know about this game and I am planning to buy the VIP package very soon too Anyway. Thats me and my introduction and yeah! 1 pointThere are many members that joined Late 2016 that are still thriving for the game. I personally have been waiting on the game since around November and have not really had much of an issue with it taking forever. We've seen what's happened when other games are rushed out, we definitely don't want that.

1 pointFrom time to time, the dev process can get slower or busier, which makes it so that we don't get as many updates as we used to have during the flawless periods of the dev process. That doesn't mean that they are getting lazy or are forgetting the game, just that they are busier with it than usual (and also they just moved in another office, so...)

1 pointThat's awesome! Thanks for donating to help the development! We are getting everytime a little bit closer to the first module and the release because of people like you. It could take long before first module but when we get it I am sure it's going to be great. Again thanks for donating and helping the developers to make this game true. I hope you will enjoy the final game (I am sure you will like it and I'm also sure I am going to enjoy it) Regards, a fan of the game

1 pointYea, thats true. Creating a game takes time, Sometimes a year and sometimes multiple years. I respect the devs I dont mind waiting its normal for me since I have waited for more games. Well complaining doesnt speed up the development. So it is just waiting and waiting and people who are asking about this should know it takes long.

1 pointIt's also a good thing to mention Biker Clothes have been shown and I'm sure they'd create more as the game progresses. Plan what you have seen, not what you think you'll see. It's easier that way (Not directed towards you Narc)

1 pointThere will be ranks in the careers and I am sure with business' the owner will probably be able to set up ranks.
-
1 pointHey there, in short they are for the game and not real life. People are getting ready for the things they want to do in the game right now as then they can have a structured plan on what they will do, while also having players getting hired now as to be sure of what they will do in the game and instead of waiting and trying to recruit people when it is too late.

1 pointWith a pipe in his mouth reading business papers the calm seductive nature of The Chairman envelopes him in comfort. But that unfortunately wasn't to last. A local businessman rushed into the booth and sits across from Gene. "Hello Martin, what can I do for you?" "I need you to hear me out Gene. This could make you millions of dollars." "I'm in the business of making money. I've told you this before." Gene takes another puff of his pipe before looking up at Martin. "You shouldn't barge into my lounge like this." "Listen to me Gene!" Martin quickly pulls out a pistol and aims it at Gene. Looking unamused Gene chuckles before going back to reading. "The safeties still on. And do you plan to shoot me?" "I was thinking about it." "That's the problem with you Martin. A businessman doesn't think about what he's going to do. In this line of work we take risks, it's what we do." Don't fuck with me Gene!" Gene grabs the gun and smashes Martins face against the table. "Don't you ever come into my club with that kind of attitude!" Gene's hair became unkempt, a strand hanging in front of his face and veins buldge from his neck. "Get him out of my club... NOW!"

1 pointWell, everybody is waiting for the game, there are just some (too many) people who blame the devs instead of encouraging them...

1 pointFor who are complaining about bike and car being old as grandpa, Just think that this is a RP you gave some money to get an advantage or to support the dev but still you are having something already without doing any hard work for it. So I think it's pretty good that at least you will be getting something. I would say let it be like that it is cuz it's better to start over rather than having a 100 years old bike too for me.
-
1 pointI don't expect to get a 2012 or higher bike, but I would have thought that it would have been a modle that was 2000's - 2010 style. Also, this isn't so much of a complaint as it is a question of why they would have went this direct?

1 pointThough it would be awesome to drive lisenced vehicles however obtaining lisencing would be very costly and time consuming for Asylum. Major developers like Rockstar and Ubisoft use the loophole of creating parodies of major vehicle manufacturers to avoid lisencing costs. The main reasoning is budgeting and the cost and time it would take with lisenced manufacturers. Asylum would be better off spending their money and time on creating a large amount of unique vehicles rather than trying to get brands like Ford, Dodge, etc. As for music this can be costly and can also hurt their reputation if an artist becomes disgruntled with Asylum's use. The issue here is developers can make a contract with the artist or the producer for the use of music within a game. Rockstar for instance has been known to skip over artists and make deals with producers to avoid paying a large sum to the artist themselves. Many have attempted to sue, however they cannot do anything due to it impeding on the producers contract for usage. Situations like this can cause serious issues for developers with their fan base. Asylum's best and safest route is to look to independent artists for music to avoid producers attempting to get involved, and should stick with parodies of real vehicle brands and styles.

1 pointWell you were complaining about servers abusing this, no need to be toxic, settle down there now.
-
1 pointthings that would make beta 500X better - Waiting and not rushing, here is my advise just imagine you never even heard of this game until full release you had no idea of the game, AAA titles do it all the time they never tell the customers about anything untill its completed or near completion fortantly Identity let us know about the game way before and solid ground was in place that is how everyone should cope with unreleased games buy it if you like it or wait untill you are more confident its up too you just dont let it get too your head
-
1 pointWell, driving an Obey or a Pegassi never bothered anyone in GTA, so I guess it'll be the same here
-
1 pointReal music is already confirmed via radio. Real cars very likely will not happen but cars based on real ones will.
-
1 pointThis would require expensive licensing. The games budget is not big enough for that unfortunately.
