4 pointsDon't even bother asking these types of questions at this point. You will either get a generic response from angry customers who are upset this game keeps getting delayed, or you will get a generic response from the fanboys who can watch the developers say on stream the game isn't coming out and they will convince themselves that it is still coming out. Only time can tell, you won't get responses from the Devs very often either... sadly.

2 pointsthings that would make beta 500X better - Waiting and not rushing, here is my advise just imagine you never even heard of this game until full release you had no idea of the game, AAA titles do it all the time they never tell the customers about anything untill its completed or near completion fortantly Identity let us know about the game way before and solid ground was in place that is how everyone should cope with unreleased games buy it if you like it or wait untill you are more confident its up too you just dont let it get too your head

2 pointshey now no need to trash talk the ideea!~ if this guy wants to buy a new account every time he dies, i will happily be the bitch behind the gun shooting him. besides that the more he dies the more money identity gets. if he wants he could just be the target practise for everyone who goes to the shooting range, and then identity gets a solid income from this one guy!~ noah!~ buy as many accounts as you want!~ dont listen to the haters!~ Go ham on your moms credit card and help fund the game!~ your deaths will be forever remembered as it may help to fund a new lamp for our houses in identity!~

2 pointsThis game is not a subscription based game. You don't pay more than one time for the game, also it would stop people trying to rob the bank as they will have to pay money because of a game mechanic they want to get fun out of. This is a terrible idea in my opinion, but I can tell you, you will have the option for a permanent death to your character if you rent a server. This will be your choice but on official servers, that won't be the case.

1 pointThis is innitially a continuation from a previous RP that was started in a different thread. It went well, so we decided to make a new thread just for it, beginning in what we call "Season 2." Anyone is welcome to join. The story is set in the cities of Identity and the theme seems to have a bit of a Gotham feel to it. Crime, justice, and a dash of twisted insanity. A world where there are no battle wizards astride dragons, or fairies weaving flower garlands for elves. There are, however, sinister science experiments, genetic mutations, dark rituals and cryptic things that you thought only existed in nightmares. The world is what you make it, and dark minds, I find, tend to be a bit more fun. So welcome all, to Dark City. RULES: 1. PLEASE try to type as clearly as possible. Relax, take your time, it will yield less typos. Avoid shorthand and proofread your post before submitting. 2. No god-moding. You can not control other people's characters (unless previously arranged), and you are not immune to damage. 3. We all have lives. As such, you will be given 3 days to post a reaction. After that, you will be skipped. The show must go on. 4. NO BULLYING. We simply will not have it. If you're being a dick, you will be killed off in the story and blocked from the thread. If we think of more necessary rules, we will update this accordingly. Participants of Season 1: Because this is its own thread and new people may be joining, please post a brief recap of your character's events in the previous chapter. Thank you and enjoy! *fires a gun in the air*

1 pointJust want to take a moment to thank the devs and the staff working to make this game possible! Im sure that you dont get enough of this. I am beyond stoked to see and play this game! Thank you for all your hard work! Thank you for the updates that you do provide! Cheers!

1 pointI guess you'll have a timer for your character to disappear, preventing easy escapes from cop chases for example

1 pointHere is an old topic about being a chef in game. In summary there will be a cooking type of crating included but it won't be a specific job.
-
1 pointSeems a little sad with all the other fine detail of modern life they have in the game, from architecture to plates and other areas looking so modern and a look of "today" setting to give us a bike that is almost (if not) 40 years old seems very out of place.

1 pointHello and Welcome to the community! Please have a search and browse around the forum. If you still have some questions not answered, feel free to ask me via PM or somewhere on the forum. I will try and answer your questions all to the best of my ability. Cheerio, James.

1 pointHas there been any mention since they said it was delayed? We were suppose to have it before last months blog and now this months blog is getting close. Is the video release anywhere in sight?
-
1 pointYo anyone around here getting pissed about how long the devs are taking to even give us something even playable? I guess a good example to compare this game too is DayZ and why people should let the devastating finish their work, or just release what they have. Dayz is still in alpha, and it has been for years. They release small to medium sized updates to their alpha game. My point here is to ask the community for this game their opinion on how a game should be released this early in development.

1 pointThe only thing that I'm getting "pissed" at are all of these posts b*tching and complaining about the release date or the Devs progress. ONE, just ONE, small, simple use of the "Search" bar would show that this topic has come up far more than enough already and was literally just discussed yesterday or the day before too. It's not difficult to use the "Search" bar so please be more thoughtful before making a Thread next time. I'm honestly not trying to sound rude, I'm REALLY not, really, but you have to understand that you are not and never will be the only and last person to ask about this so have some patience and stop complaining because it gets complained about enough. I can't speak for everyone but I'm sure that I can speak for most (and people are always welcome to correct me if I'm wrong here but...) when I say that I'd much more prefer that they released the first module, Town Square, once it is actually READY. In other words, once the Devs have fixed all of the major bugs, glitches and complications and provided enough for us to do since it's only really a social module for now and would get boring very quickly without other stuff to keep us entertained. Be patient. It's better that they make it the best that it can be (even though there will still be a few bugs here and there) before they release it. If they have to keep stopping to make a new Dev Blog or video every few weeks then they won't make any progress and it will only slow them down. They are also just a very small Dev Team so please be considerate. I think that considering there's not that many on the team, they are working tremendously hard and are doing an excellent job. As the old saying goes; "Rome wasn't built in a day". Games take A LOT of time, effort and commitment. Some people have been waiting for FAR longer than you. You only joined the community on June 201th this year, some people, as @KennyBatin17 said above, have been waiting for much longer. If they can be patient then trust me; SO CAN YOU. I'd like to reiterate that I'm NOT trying to be rude, but you're not being very considerate so my final statement is simply; "Please be more considerate. They are working their asses off but they have personal lives too, just like us. It will be released when it is ready".
-
1 pointDude, they announced their game when they were deciding to build it. Stop with the hate and just stop. It isn't easy to make a really good game, plus you joined June 20th this year, so you can't be too mad. You've waited a few months like me, so stop. You don't know how long others have waited. Have some patience ok.

1 pointThis would require expensive licensing. The games budget is not big enough for that unfortunately.
-
1 pointI'm amazed all those topics aren't deleted by moderators on the excuse of "there's a search button, use it before saying things or asking questions"... All in all, it's just a duplicate of every other kid wanting gameplay videos

1 pointall im waiting is to see if they actually know what there doing At the moment all iv'e seen is over the top 3D rendered scene's with some basic elements that 1000s of people have already done and shown on youtube if they believe that they can make a fully open world game at that detail online they need to think again why do you think if game enjines can make scene's look that pretty why haven't big game company's games dont even come close or look like it with 1000s of dev's because its simply not possible the amount of power you would need server side and client side would be huge.. emergancynyc tried to do the same thing 3+ years ago showed of a fancy scene next thing you know 4 years latter the game was started from scratch and looks nothing like its old video demonstration... for all we know the dev's could be just a bunch of random who could make a fancy rendered scene just like 1000s of other kids on youtube could Claimed this was how the game gonna look like and what not and everyone jumped on the hype train there a difference from having a nice rendered scene to an full pledge actual game.. good luck to the dev's though and everyone else i really hope they pull through i really do... EDIT oh wait im sorry they showed off some 3D rendered models.. pretty sure thats never been done befor.. C:

1 pointYou haven't gotten a PC game game yet...omg dude don't rob yourself...Yea, when/if Identity releases it's gonna be an awesome experience. But believe me when I tell you that there is a whole world of gaming you are missing out on, while just waiting. I have a few suggestions to help keep your mind off of waiting for Identity...BeamNG.Drive, Spintires, NCG Wreckfest, Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, Gta V, PubG, Sniper Elite 1- 4 Games. I can't wait to experience Idnetity but Getting some other games in the meantime helps relieve the anticipation alot.

1 pointAs Kevin drives he notices the black car following him. Kevin begins to take extra turns, watching the car continuing to follow him. After a while, Kevin eventually looses the car in the city streets. Kevin breathes a sigh of relief and sits back as he continues to drive. Suddenly as Kevin drives through a intersection he is blinded by a bright light from the side. Kevin's car is t-boned and is sent rolling, eventually coming to a stop on its roof, Kevin slowly drifts in and out of conciseness. *Three Years earlier* "And why should I loan you 100 thousand dollars" The man leans back in his chair, smoking a cigar, staring at Kevin. "Because I know when I win, I will pay you back with half my winnings from this race, more than three times your money" *One month later* Kevin sits behind the wheel of his heavily modified Golf GTI, looking at the flashing red and blue lights starting to close on his car. "Fuck me" Kevin sees the police gaining and plants his foot to the floor on the accelerator pedal. Seeing that Kevin is starting to pull away, the nearest cop rams the rear end of his car, causing Kevin to spin out of control and hit the center barrier, flipping the car. As Kevin tries to climb out of the wreck, saved by the roll cage, and dumb luck, a gunshot is heard, and a searing pain felt in his shoulder, jerking Kevin awake.

1 pointThis is honestly the worst feature you could have in this game. And as for me, it would mean account deletion, because I'm certainly NOT putting more money in to keep playing! This is not Gameloft! And also, as far as I'm concerned, I get quite attached to my characters, and certainly wouldn't want a perma-death
-
1 pointDifferent people working on different things. Marvin and Antoine, who did these lamps and fans don't work on any part of the video.

1 pointUm no. That would be hurting a big deal of the player base. How many people would really buy the game again after they die? If anything having a system like this, would encourage people to hack the game. So they can keep there character and not need to pay again. What are the bonuses to this system really?
