5 pointsNo, we did not pledge solely for concept art, we pledged for a game. He is not a "random squatting slav guy doing crap work" he is an educated concept artist who was showing us the process of creating concept art, which is the foundation of creating a significant amount of the assets in a well-made game. While he did not answer many questions, the devs were in the chat responding to the community. We pledged for a game, and this man is doing marvelous work to help make the devs idea for the game into something you can actually see and that they can build off of. I get that you are annoyed and angry that the module has yet to be released, but the devs are showing us that they are doing work to create assets and art for that game as well as answering questions. They are moving into a new office and hiring more programmers. Once the office is setup and that programmers are trained, productivity will be boosted. You pledged for a game, practically nothing that gets kick-started actually gets out on time, but at least the devs are showing you that they are doing work. So if anyone would like to see some of this concept artist's amazing work you can find it at http://www.artofpav.com/. Good day.

2 pointsYour either impatient or racist mate, I suggest you stop making trouble on forums and shout this out to people who actually care, he doesn't have a lack of skill, he's not just some "squatting slav" the result isn't "horrible", I aint one for looking at concepts and stuff or bumming out on photoshop but I did love those concept art, and I loved the fact we got to see they are working. Degoot stop causing trouble and go away, if necessary i will see this post took down or locked from comments @Paratus.

1 pointThere's never been a more exicting time for the Identity development team than right now. We're growing from a small team of passionate and skilled developers into a true studio with real development horsepower. Asylum Entertainment's New Home Identity is being produced by a very small team, although with our new office (see above) we're on a hiring craze and expanding in a big way. In fact, our programming team is going to be three times larger by the end of September. That's only the tip, too, as we're also bringing in a full-time dedicated community manager so that you get the regular updates from the team which you deserve. Our art team is also expanding with some of the most incredible talent in the industry. It pains us that Identity has seen delays; we truly want the game in your hands as soon as possible. With our modest team it's been a difficult road but, with the great help of yourself and other backers, it's full-steam ahead. Once we're situated in our new office (we get the keys in one week) and your new community manager is ready to go, it's our intention keep this great community in constant contact with the team! New in the Town Square If you've been watching closely on the IdentityRPG Twitch Channel, which is live for a Q&A with the developers every Tueday through Thursday, you've seen a lot of art these last few weeks. From concept art to screenshots and clothing, below are just a few of the pieces we've shown, plus something new for good measure. We're really pushing the development streams now, too. You'll be able to watch environment artist Antoine at work Wednesday, August 30 at 1PM EST. Moving forward, we're going to try to give you at least one development stream every single week. Watch Twitter for announcements. Town Square Clothing Store Remember the clothing store concept art we showed last month? This in-game screenshot shows how concept translates to reality (minus the actual clothing). Another new addition, ambiant radio, brings this scene to life. When you walk into this clothing store you'll notice music playing from the speakers. It's not just music in our game, either, it's real streaming radio playing songs you know. Different stores can now play ambiant music that matches their style and enhances immersive atmosphere. Ash Hill Police HQ Concept The Ash Hill police station will open it's doors in the Town Square module shortly after its release. Seen above is the concept for the lobby, locker room (where players "sign in" as an officer) and the shooting range. The shooting range will be available in the Town Square to give you a feel for weapons in Identity before you get your hands on the SWAT module. Ash Hill Barber Concept While a large variety of player customizations will be available during your initial character creation, some options are reserved for locations in the world. Barber shops, like the Ash Hill Barber you'll find in the Town Square shown above, will have additional hair options; other shops around the land will present different styles. Some rarer character customization options may be unlocked through gameplay achievements. A peak at pledge rewards Below are concept pieces of the pledge rewards you may already own. Our new website, almost ready to go, will bring new options while some of the existing will no longer be available. Pledge Reward Concepts -- John VanderZwet

1 pointWill Government corruption be allowed? Having a gang in the force such as Captain or even a judge and using there powers to benefit the gang as in letting there members go and things?

1 pointIve seen alot of ppl asking for minimum requirements...Im just trying to be helpful, as i had this problem for the last 2 weeks. So if this isnt helpful, plz accept my apologies. They havent released minimum specs yet, as far as Ive seen. This build will be able, if you can afford blowing $2800+ on a gaming rig, to handle anything that Identity can throw at you including VR & 4k. From what I've been told, Im future proof for atleast 5 years "supposedly", hopefully thats true cause I dont know. Monitor: Samsung (UE590) UHD 4k 1ms response AMD FreeSync Main Tower Components: CPU: Intel i7-7700k Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Superclocked Gaming ACX 3.0, 8GB GDDR5X, LED, DX12 OSD support Hard Drive: Seagate Constellation 2TB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s 7200Rpm 64MB Solid State Drive: SanDisk+ 480GB SSD DDR4 Memory: Viper Elite Series DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 2400MHz kit Mobo: ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 2 LGA1151 DDR4 HDMI DVI M.2 USB 3.1 Z270 ATX Power supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 B2, 80+ Bronze 850W Semi Modular Tower: Corsair Crystal Series 460X-Tempered Glass Compact ATX Mid-Tower Case. At this point I was around $1500 or so, not including monitor($399 at Best Buy). Obviously this is not the best or worst build, I'm sure there's room to wiggle lower end, cheaper components. And still handle Identity. And we all know theres Lots of room for improvement on this rig. Now on to some added accessories and other goodies. Basic Needs: Keyboard: Razer DeathStalker Chroma- Multi-Color RGB Membrane Gaming KB Mouse: Razer Naga Chroma Speakers: Logitech Z313 Speaker System Custom looks parts: Cooler Master hyper 212 LED CPU Cooler with PMW fan, 4-Direct Contact Heat Pipes, Unique Blade Design, Red LED's Thermaltake Riing 12 RGB LED 120mm Adjustable Color Case Radiator Fan, Triple Pack eTopxizu Computer RGB LED light Strip w/remote control Xbox 1Wireless controller w/wireless adapter for Windows 10. All said and done i spent 2405.77 on the PC and an extra $400 for the 4k Monitor. I hope this helps anyone that might need a refrence point to go off of...

1 pointI've been watching the development of this game sense I first saw it on KickStarter...I know I'm backing late but its with reasonable excuse LOL. I was a console player, and I decided to sell my xbone and ps4 to invest into a computer and the past year I've spent on the computer has been much more fun than most of the experiences I've had on both consoles. I'm extremely excited for this game and I cannot wait for the first module to come out. I played many hours of Altis Life this year but I want more. Something tells me I backed at the right time...

1 pointI was wondering if anyone would need a bodyguard for when the "Town Square Module" is released. I will protect you from whom ever would want to harm you in any way and I will always stay loyal to my boss. A little about myself: Dark skinned, Very big and muscular, though and aint afraid of anything, always loyal, I was a in the military some years back but have decided that I'm done serving my country after one of my close friends died when we was on a mission in Syria. I also know very well how to use a gun if that would be nesecarily. Write a message down below if you're intrested. Peace.
-
1 pointI was talking about the flats in general. I could've been more clear, I'll admit to that. So basically they will have more floor space. Most likely they'll just be in a different building and are completely different apartments. Not just increased space, but entirely reworked apartments.
-
1 pointYou will be able to customize motorcycles just as you'll be able to customize cars; trucks, etc. Of course I'm sure there will be less options, as there are less options on motorcycles. If by any chance you meant actual bikes, as to the muscle operated ones, then I don't know for sure. But I'm guessing (strongly) that his will be the case as well. Identity has made clear customization is key to the game.
-
1 pointSad for the people who like my logic otherwise, but I'd have to agree with @MrChaBoi. There won't be any incentive to 'bodyguard' in the TS module. It's a social module, with customization options, nothing more. You'd have to RP the heck out of it to make it work at that phase. Bodyguard in general won't be a job or career to begin with as well. But later on, with the beta or full release you'll at least be able to RP it if someone wants to hire you. But then there would be actual dangers, which won't be there in TS. You cannot be harmed. No cars, no guns, no weapons, and no currency. So what would you get protection from? UV rays hitting your skin? Dust hitting your eyes? The wind blowing your hair in front of your eyes? A painting dropping on your head the art gallery? You'd have to go REALLY far (like to Mars and back) to RP such a thing during the TS module. I'm all for RP, but it would look ridiculous at that point in development to indulge yourself with it. That's imho btw.
-
1 pointNot really, Just saying what is possible and what is not. But sure, If you want to Roleplay a "Bodyguard" without anything provided to make the Roleplay possible. Then feel free to do It.

1 pointOne last point I'd like to make then I'll end my position within this specific conversation; If there is anyone who is against the LGBTQ+ community then I know for sure that I wouldn't want them in my party's support even if it meant losing the election. Whilst it would be very upsetting to lose, it would be better than having "false supporters" who supposedly "support" me and my party, yet go against our policies. I'm sure this would be the same with The Royal Family Party.
-
1 pointThese are the type of words that can push someone into office, IF I wasn't running you'd be someone I'd at least keep in mind!
-
1 pointWell the problem with the cars is that there will be no cars in the TS module, Which means no vehicle can be a threat to the Person, Aswell I am pretty sure You won't even be able to hit anyone in the Module.
-
1 pointAnyone who knows me knows that I very rarely ever give out likes. You've just earned 3 Anyway, see you around (And thanks for supporting/not supporting me )
-
1 point@BrianHamilton Yes I have! I plan on upgrading soon as well. I might've voted, then again maybe I didn't Thank you and yes you will!

1 pointhttps://www.twitch.tv/videos/171248044 Why are they showing us a random squatting slav guy doing crap work in PS talking about nothing at all? AND HOPES WE GOT ANSWERS? Is this really what we have pledged for? WTF?!

1 point(This one isn't from Identity)(This one is) If you still believe that this man is inexperienced, then you must be a troll. While he might not be as good as the people who work at some AAA game development companies, he is educated and experienced. He isn't just some hobby artist. He understands composition, he understands shadows and lighting. He understands how materials work. He understands how surfaces reflect, and how shapes will look from certain angles. His drawings are gorgeous and his ability to make realistic interiors and exteriors is stunning. I will give this link once again, please check it out. http://www.artofpav.com/

1 pointI hope to see you too. If you've bought Founder or higher then I'll definitely (and I keep to my promises) keep a lookout for you when the Town Square module is released As for Governor, well, maybe one day (if I get enough support , hint, hint ) Anyway, have fun looking around the community and I guess I'll see you in-game when it opens
-
1 point@BrianHamilton Thank you for welcoming me and giving me some links to read! I hope to see you in game, who knows maybe you'll be my governor one day! Very interested in the political side of the game actually. Again thank you for welcoming me and providing me with some useful links!

1 pointWhat about this? https://static1.squarespace.com/static/53f43482e4b00966dc50ae67/t/58e558e629687f547cb18950/1491425526115/?format=1500w Either way it means nothing concept art is just a idea. It never looks like that in game.
-

1 pointWelcome to the community @Rocket_Raccoon . It's great to have you here. I'm Brian, Governor Candidate and Leader of The Hamilton Party. Here’s some links to help you get started. Below, you can find some FAQs and other cool information which you might like: FAQ (by Motown) FAQ Extended (by JamesLuck01) Reddit Q&A Q&A Podcast w/ Devs (by TheDynasty) Q&a Podcast w/ Devs (by PowerGaming7) There’s lots to do in Identity, so whatever path you choose to follow, I hope that you enjoy it. You should also be sure to get into some of the political stuff from time to time and vote for your favourite candidate (once the game is released). Once again, welcome!

1 pointYou didn't miss much at all, nothing has changed really. Just more concept arts and live streams of them just talking.. Come back in another 4 months and ill tell you the same thing.
-
1 pointAlright mate don't get all triggered on me I was using it as an example. I may have worded my question badly, but in general are you allowed to be un PC in game is what I was really trying to say.
-
1 pointFfs dude. This is honestly such a stupid question. Also " a group against transgenders", well that would be transphobic. Hate speech is not the same as freedom of speech. You're welcome to voice your opinions so long as they are not discriminatory, degrading or attacking another individual or group of people. To answer the question, it would depend on whatever laws the Governor had set in place but on official servers, I imagine they would never, ever allow discrimination based on gender, sexuality, race, religion, etc. as they'd want everybody to be able to enjoy the game. If it's not allowed on here then it's most likely not allowed on official servers in-game. What you do on your own private servers is up to you. Sincerely, LGBTQ+
-
1 pointPlease research on the forum as the answer is there! It is in the FAQ Extended and so please go read both FAQ's while you are at it and then you will have a lot of knowledge. Searching don't take very long and if everyone just asks instead of looking, this forum would clutter causing it a problem to find anything by searching.
-
1 pointI am pretty sure they said it on stream that we will be able to use steering wheels. Can't wait for VR support after full release and a wheel
-
1 pointSo you are going to be walking around in public like a football mascot confused about where the stadium is?
-
1 pointThis is going to be fun! You didn't even do any research LUL! Maybe before you try to show the size of your testicles and others. Do some research and have some respect. Thanks

-
1 pointRealistically it should be allowed and unbannable. In the real world pretty much everyone is corrupt.
-
1 pointIf you are a police officer and you are corrupt then, you will lose your career as a police officer for doing that on official servers. However in private servers you might be able to be corrupt depending on if the server allowing it.
