6 pointsI would like everyone to know how much of an amazing person @BrianHamilton actually is. He has been on the forums every single day. Helping people with all kinds of things. Thank you for being such an amazing person and helping out the community in the best possible way. There aren't a lot of people like you. I haven't seem a lot of people like you and me that put a lot of effort on the forums. You put so much hard work in everything you want to do for the political party you have. I have seen a lot of these for a very long time, but yours is definitely the best one and best looking. People should take an example of your work. Good job! I would recommend everyone to check out his stuff here! Party Website http://thehamiltonparty.strikingly.com/

5 pointsThere's never been a more exicting time for the Identity development team than right now. We're growing from a small team of passionate and skilled developers into a true studio with real development horsepower. Asylum Entertainment's New Home Identity is being produced by a very small team, although with our new office (see above) we're on a hiring craze and expanding in a big way. In fact, our programming team is going to be three times larger by the end of September. That's only the tip, too, as we're also bringing in a full-time dedicated community manager so that you get the regular updates from the team which you deserve. Our art team is also expanding with some of the most incredible talent in the industry. It pains us that Identity has seen delays; we truly want the game in your hands as soon as possible. With our modest team it's been a difficult road but, with the great help of yourself and other backers, it's full-steam ahead. Once we're situated in our new office (we get the keys in one week) and your new community manager is ready to go, it's our intention keep this great community in constant contact with the team! New in the Town Square If you've been watching closely on the IdentityRPG Twitch Channel, which is live for a Q&A with the developers every Tueday through Thursday, you've seen a lot of art these last few weeks. From concept art to screenshots and clothing, below are just a few of the pieces we've shown, plus something new for good measure. We're really pushing the development streams now, too. You'll be able to watch environment artist Antoine at work Wednesday, August 30 at 1PM EST. Moving forward, we're going to try to give you at least one development stream every single week. Watch Twitter for announcements. Town Square Clothing Store Remember the clothing store concept art we showed last month? This in-game screenshot shows how concept translates to reality (minus the actual clothing). Another new addition, ambiant radio, brings this scene to life. When you walk into this clothing store you'll notice music playing from the speakers. It's not just music in our game, either, it's real streaming radio playing songs you know. Different stores can now play ambiant music that matches their style and enhances immersive atmosphere. Ash Hill Police HQ Concept The Ash Hill police station will open it's doors in the Town Square module shortly after its release. Seen above is the concept for the lobby, locker room (where players "sign in" as an officer) and the shooting range. The shooting range will be available in the Town Square to give you a feel for weapons in Identity before you get your hands on the SWAT module. Ash Hill Barber Concept While a large variety of player customizations will be available during your initial character creation, some options are reserved for locations in the world. Barber shops, like the Ash Hill Barber you'll find in the Town Square shown above, will have additional hair options; other shops around the land will present different styles. Some rarer character customization options may be unlocked through gameplay achievements. A peak at pledge rewards Below are concept pieces of the pledge rewards you may already own. Our new website, almost ready to go, will bring new options while some of the existing will no longer be available. Pledge Reward Concepts -- John VanderZwet

2 points((Bonus double post to make up for my tardiness.)) "This is just unheard of" The hospital administrator shakes her head incredulously. "Scared the hell out of me." The nurse gives a nervous chuckle, while carefully peeling back Amanda's bandages. "Vitals are all strong as any healthy, fully functioning person. We're very sorry about the loss of your eyes, but you're incredibly lucky to be alive, Miss Shepard. Your family had given up hope." "They aren't my family." Amanda says in an emotionless, monotone voice. The two women glance uneasily at each other. "What. . . Makes you say that, honey?" The administrator tilts her head with concern. The nurse continues peeling back bandages, staring in awe at the paper white skin being revealed. No burns at all. "I heard them. I heard every word." Her voice takes on an icy edge. "I'm adopted." The administrator widens her eyes slightly. "I see. . . We weren't sure if you could hear anything in your coma, but-" "Everything makes sense now." Amanda cuts her off. "I never belonged. I was always different. They always hated me." "Oh, sweetheart, I'm sure it's not-" "They're not my family." Amanda repeats, firmly and coldy. "We're about to reveal your face. . ." The nurse interjects quietly, pulling bandages off from around Amanda's head. Darkness slowly lightens to grey, then beige as light begins to show through the thinning bandages. "They didn't care about me. My father wanted a cash cow for his company, and my mother wanted a pretty womb for her grandchildren. And my brother. . ." She slowly clenches a fist. "Hun, I'm sure they all love you very much. Pulling the plug must have been very difficult for them, I promise." The administrator says reassuringly. The sympathetic looking nurse finally pulls back the last bandage over Amanda's eyes and lifts a brow slightly. "Oh, wow. Your skin is so pale, but there are no burns at all. If I didn't know any better, I could almost believe you even had ey-" She suddenly gasps loudly and lunges back as Amanda opens her eyelids. Bright, acid green irises stare back at the two women, who's jaws are on the floor. "I'm going home." Amanda says with a hardened heart. "I need to say hello to my loving family."

2 points((Sorry for delays, guys. Been doing a lot of packing and costume preparation for NDK. But I'm still around!)) A doctor enters the hospital room of Amanda Shepard. "Their decision has been made." He says to the on-duty nurse. "Turn off the machines and call it." The nurse looks stunned. "You can't be serious. Right when she's doing better, you're just going to kill her?" The doctor shoots her a stern look. "She's brain-dead. And it isn't my decision, it's that of the family and they said pull the plug. I'm not about to have a lawsuit on my hands. And do you think I want this entire room quarantined again? Do it now." And he turns to leave. The nurse stands from her chair and points at the comatose Amanda. "But LOOK at her!" Spinning around, the doctor glares at her. "Do you value your job here? I won't tell you again. We need this room for other patients, now do your job. And for God's sake, be careful. I don't need you hospitalized like the last two nurses." And with that, he all but storms out of the room. The nurse glares incredulously after him, then turns to the heart monitor, grumbling bitterly under her breath. "I can't fucking believe this place sometimes. . . If I didn't need this goddamned job, I'd have quit ages ago." She mutters as she sets to work shutting down the monitor. "Stupid, horrible people. Don't even care about saving lives. It's aaallllll about the money." She flips a few switches and turns to remove sensors from Amanda. A weak voice then comes from beneath the bandages. "Hey. . . Before I die. . . Can I get a glass of water?" The nurse shrieks, spins around to run, but promptly faints to the floor with a thud. ". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Is that a no?"

1 pointI want to live a normal life as well, socialise and being a paramedic... and adopting some pets...
-
1 pointYeah.. Imagine they adding IT businesses, and it's so real that you get a job inside the game coding real stuff for the game itself That would be nice tho.. and back to the topic... I would try to start a business related to services or start working in an ordinary job in order to get enough money to do the first thing (I dont know how this system will work once the game is finished, so I will just adapt to it).
-
1 pointThis has been discussed already, numerous times in Q&A videos with the Developers and in other places around the community; please use the "Search" bar before posting first to prevent any double-postings or unintentional spam (even if you don't mean it). Careers and jobs will be entirely separate. Careers will be sort of like a main thing such as the Emergency Services, running a business, etc. and jobs will be like doing deliveries and smaller tasks like that. Careers will have progression paths in which you can work to improve/increase your ability within that field/career, however, nothing which will give you any sort of advantage over other players. Robbing and killing have also already been confirmed and discussed. Clothing will never be robbable/lootable when killing a person as the Devs said they wouldn't want you to lose anything personal/valuable to yourself. As for hacking, I very highly doubt it as I think that might be asking just a little bit much of the game, but I'm not denying the possibility for the future, but not anytime soon. Vote Hamilton

1 pointI plan on having an ordinary boring job. I know many people will not be interested in those so I will help fill the gap. I just love the sim/realism aspect of this game so even if I have to do repeat the same thing over and over day in and day out I'll do it. I just hope the devs make all the jobs somewhat engaging and complex so you don't just perform the entire action by pressing one button.

1 pointMy character will be an entrepreneur. Starting off as a carpenter, but hopefully, I will earn enough to start investing in businesses.

1 pointKevin watches as Marco runs inside. "What the fuck is going on" He looks over the alleyway quickly, and satisfied he sees no cameras, Kevin quickly checks the handgun given to him. Satisfied, he stuffs it in his jeans waistband, pulling the back of his plaid jacket over it. Kevin then tosses the balaclava and heads around to the front of the store, pulling his hat down low, and his coat collar high. Kevin spots a man step out of a Mustang, and heads over towards him. Just as the two men are about to pass, Kevin pretends to trip and fall into the other man. "What the hell man, watch where you're going" "Shit, sorry man" The two men head their own ways, and once Kevin is certain he is a good distance away, he pulls the man's keys out of his pocket and heads over to the Mustang. Kevin gets in the car, starts it, and heads in front of the 7-Eleven, where he waits for Marco. "Who the fuck does this guy think he is, dressing like that and hitting a fucking convenience store. What the hell am I getting myself into" While sitting, Kevin sends a text to a close friend to come and tow his car from the alleyway.

1 pointBoth of you make excellent points, however, I have to agree with @JamesLuck01 , if you got to choose your rewards then it would be very one-sided in terms of vehicles and I really don't like the idea of choosing which house you want with the package because then what's the point in purchasing higher-priced packages if you can get that for a lower priced one, get what I mean? However, what does actually annoy me though is that, whilst Cabbie is $50, Biker is $100 but Biker has more content. What if you wanted all of that content and were willing to pay $100 but hated motorcycles and prefered cars? Yes, of course, as we've said; it'd make it too one-sided, but that does make it quite irritating. However, I reiterate that choosing which house with the package is far too OP. Vote Hamilton

1 pointThere is no $ETA on the module, it will be announced when it is ready. Also please search as the forum has this question asked and answered many times, which every time someone posts instead of searching, it adds to the clutter of the forums while also making it harder for people to search for answers!

1 point( I dont know whats going on but it seems to be a slow start to season 2..someone let me know whats going on!) "Dude come on it just a little razor wire use the towel and climb over the fence before someone see you." Tweek climbs over the fence and lands next to Mad Mark. He looks down at the camera and presses Record. "Welcome ladies its your boy Mad Mark once again with my partner in crime Tweeker!" Tweek is heard with a sigh behind the camera. it seems from the camera that they have reached the boat yard. They are hiding behind a boat that looks like it is being repaired or it is just junk who knows. "Alright FaceTubers we are at the final clue that will lead us to location of where Goblin shit, Who will be playing Tonight!!!" Mark throws up the horns and sticks his tongue out. Tweeks hand is seen coming in from of the camera with the horns up. "wait shhh dude is that a guard?" Tweek raises the camera up and clicks on the night vision on his camera seeing the guard and then back to Mark "Yeah thats a guard broski." Mark says. "Hey who the hell is that crawling under the fence right there?" Mark points to his left seeing another two more kids that have entered the boat yard. Tweek moves the camera back to Mark. "You think they got the same clue we did?" Tweek says, as he looks back to the other kids, then back to Mark. "Shit dude..we only have like 2 or 3 hours left before the show..and now these kids might get it and get he clue before us....we can not have some punk kids beat us Tweek this is for GS son you never know we may be the last people to get in and it could be sold out..so we have to find it and find it fast." Tweek moves the camera to the kids as it seem that they spotted Mark and Tweek and are now moving boat to boat to come over where they are hiding. The two kids wave at them as they move to where they are and hide behind the same boat as them. "You dude looking for the clue too huh?" Punk kid one says. Mark nods "Hell yeah...any idea what it might be?" punk kid two nods and points to the right."There is a boat called the Goblin Fish near the guard shack. We think it may be in there." Tweek moves the camera up and looks over the goblin fish boat. "yeah its like right by the guard shack." Tweek lowers his camera and back to the other three. "well since we are trespassing this can't be good for anyone here." Tweek says as Mark starts to move slowly and sneaking to boat to boat trying not to let the guard see them. The two punk kids follow Mark as Tweek follows behind. They stop as they are one boat away from getting the club on the Boat known as goblin fish. Tweek still films as he looks at Mark doing a military crawl up to the boat. He gets up to his knees and then makes a leaping jump to the front of the boat grabbing the railing and pulls himself up. The guard hears something by the Goblin Fish boat and grabs his shotgun moving towards it. "Shit Marks going to get spotted." Tweek says and looks moving the camera back n forth between where Mark is and the guard. Mark keeps low and moves to the living quarters of the boat, but the guard is getting closer and closer. Tweek freaks out and does the only thing he could think of, and that was to kick the punk kid in the back knocking him into other kid so they would make noise. So that is what he did. The kids fell on each other making the noise, Tweek quickly moved behind the boat as the kids hit the ground making a noise. The flash light shined on them as the slowly got to their feet. "HEY FREEZE!" The guard says as the two kids dust off and then take off toward where they came from to escape. Mark stands up and quickly looks around Tweek comes from behind the boat and over to where Mark is and hops into the boat as well.."Come on come on" Tweek Says as Mark looks for the clue. "GOT IT!" he waves it in the air and reads it "Follow the Goblin footsteps the towards a Dock, and a warehouse with the devils number" Mark tosses it on the ground of the boat as he smiles. "Lets go to the Docks baby!" Tweek and Mark hop out of the boat, but as soon as they land they hear a sound that everyone knows from a shotgun that is being pumped. They both freeze for a second. Tweek turns the camera behind them seeing the guard walking towards them. "RUN!" Mark Says and the both take off. "BOOM BOOM BOOM* the shotgun blast rings out in the boat yard hitting everything near them but not them. Boat pieces flying everywhere as they run towards the fence they climbed over. Mark runs up on a boat and climbs to the top of the boat so he can get a clear jump across the fence. Tweek of course the great camera man he is shoots his every move. *BOOM BOOM BOOM* Tweek ducks and tosses the camera over the fence for Mark to catch "CATCH!" Tweek runs up the same boat and Mark catches the camera filming Tweek doing the samething "WHeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww Go TWEEK!" Mark says filing the action. Tweek jumps and clears the fence landing next to Mark. "Wheeew!" Tweek says as the guard reaches the fence."You Bastards I will find you!" Tweek grabs the camera back from Mark as Mark flicks the guard off and they turn around to head to their next and final Adventure Goblin Shit is only 1 Hour away! will they make it in time? or will the be sitting outside listening to a sold out show?

1 pointThis month in development Another month and another dev blog to keep you updated! I want to start this one by giving a thank you to everyone who's receiving this blog post by email, our backers who are making Identity a reality. It's an exciting time as our team is growing and our pace quickening as a result. Identity's beginning to get more exposure and every pledge we receive helps us produce content faster. It's been slower than we'd like in the past because our team has been tiny, but this growth we're seeing as of late has been opening doors and propelling us forward. As of this month we've now raised over $700,000 USD; a large amount of money and what we've needed to bring on more talent. Talent we've lost to other studios and existing contracts in the past, some of our absolute best, is now returning to Asylum Entertainment to work on Identity full-time. We're really looking forward to the work from those being added to our roster, which will result in more clothing options as well as much prettier environments. We're also looking to pick up another programmer and a new community manager very shortly, to improve our PR situation and give you guys a more transparent view into development. Case variations for one of three phones in Identity With our art team growing with top industry talent, we're also making some good progress in content programming. Our elevator system has been finalized after being re-hashed. This elevator system is used in the Town Square, and throughout Identity where apartments exist, to bring players up to their lofted homes. The interesting part is these function like real elevators, and you'll see other players in them going to and from their floors. They act as loading zones, so instead breaking your immersion with a loading screen we load the apartment and it's customizations in the background while you ride the elevator. By the time the door opens everything's in place and you don't even notice that you've moved into a special instance of the world. Art of the Town Square When creating new environments, we first have our concept artist draw up a layout and artistic design. From there, environment artists create the 3D assets from that piece and a level designer places them in the world you inhabit. We're pleased to have our incredibly talented concept artist, Alexander, back in full-swing as we prepare the final pieces of environment necessary for the Town Square. Clothing store concept; hotel and art gallery in rear The clothing store is interesting in Town Square because it's operating on a system we've created for many computer-controlled shops in Identity. It has a fully functioning shoplifting mechanic. In most games you walk up to an NPC (non-player character) and interact to purchase items. You then simply walk away with your items. Stores in Identity are a different story, and are unique in the gaming world. You'll add items from racks and shelves to your cart. You can then walk into the dressing room to preview those items (assuming it's clothing) or walk up to the register to pay. What if you don't pay and simply walk out the door with your cart? Shoplifting is a reality in Identity, although it's often not recommended. If you're not skilled, and most people won't be, you'll set off alarms and have a hard time getting away. You'll likely spend time in jail for the attempt. Expensive items can also not be shoplifted for game balance purposes. Even something so simple as using a shop gives freedom and oppportunity not found in any game before. Last month we showed you a bicycle which will be ridable in Identity. Below you'll see the bicycle shop concepts for the Town Square. While you won't be able to ride them in Town Square, you'll be able to browse many options which will be available to you. Bicycle shop concept for the Ash Hill town square These final two interiors are being created by our artists as we speak, and are the last environments required for Town Square's release, along with some minor systems programming and polish. Art gallery/library concept art, previously shown Art gallery and library in-game, without player art The near future One of our top priorities right now is to give all of you who have been waiting a glimpse of real gameplay in a video. Identity's funding and progress has exploded since we showed you the workings of the housing and apartment systems on YouTube, and now we want you to see vehicles, drug production and weapon systems. I can't promise any dates on this video, but it'll be soon. In fact, I expect you to watch this video before you receive the next dev blog. This coming video is sort of a catalyst, and I can't wait to show you what's in store after it. The Town Square is also getting near the point where we're going to be able to start showing off videos of the gameplay elements you'll find within it, leading up to the public release of the module. These videos will be coming after the previously mentioned video. We do regret how little we've been able to show you thus far. We're a tiny team stretching a small budget to its limits, so things take some time. Now that much of the core exists and other supporting pieces are falling into place, I'm excited that we're now really making progress that can be witnessed. -- John VanderZwet

1 pointIdentity Forum Guidelines Last Edit: July 9th, 2018 Participation in the Official Identity forums constitutes agreement to the following guidelines, which apply to posts, profile information, avatars, signatures, private messaging, and any other content on this site and participation in general. The live nature of discussions in this community makes it difficult for staff to catch every violation of these rules. If you believe that someone has violated our User Guidelines, please send a private message to a member of our volunteer moderation team or staff with a link to the content and a brief description of what you believe is wrong. Please do not respond to a violation personally, as you may aggravate the situation and possibly violate our guidelines yourself. Any content that violates our User Guidelines will be removed. Interpretation of our guidelines is at the discretion of the staff. Please do 1. Report violations of the forum rules. Moderators will quickly review reports and make decisions based on the information you provide. 2. Respect others. Showing respect will encourage others to participate in discussion. 3. Like posts, that you feel contribute useful information to a discussion. 4. Read the rules, so that you do not accidentally receive an infraction or ban. 5. Be constructive. Help others by answering questions, and offer feedback to their ideas. 6. Read before posting. Fully Comprehend the topic of discussion and determine what has already been discussed. 7. Use proper grammar and spelling. Read your post before submitting. Spelling mistakes may attract attention away from the discussion. 8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for! Please don’t 1. Troll. Trolling does not contribute to meaningful discussion. 2. Spam. Spamming clutters the forum and makes it difficult to find original content. 3. Flame, or attack others. Insults do not contribute to discussion, and will be removed. 4. Repost Deleted Content. Content that was deleted was removed for a reason, even if the reason is unclear. 5. Demonstrate or perpetuate toxic behavior. A user is considered toxic if they repeatedly make defamatory, threatening, insulting, or otherwise hateful remarks toward other users or staff. Please keep language civil when expressing your opinions. 6. Advertise websites or services unrelated to Identity. We do not sell advertising space on the Identity forums. 7. Cross Post. Cross-posting makes it difficult for users using the search function to find relevant information, and may be considered spam. 8. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. 9. Abuse reports. Reporting content with blank or inaccurate report descriptions will hinder a moderator's capacity to help. Please report content that is in violation of the rules, and not simply because you personally dislike another user. 10. Engage rule violators. You may accidentally violate these rules yourself by responding to others that you feel aren’t following these guidelines. 11. Make low-effort posts. Contribute useful information to the discussion, and avoid going off-topic. 12. Discuss Politics/Religion. These subjects are sensitive and may offend others. (There is a small place for fantasy politics within Identity's ecosystem. The Governor position will be able to tweak small settings within the game world, and must compete against others for power. The political systems within Identity are simplified and do not accurately reflect the processes involved with political discourse in the real world. Players may implicitly take inspiration from existing candidates or parties, but must not show any connections to real world politics through the use of logos/symbols, names (of existing leaders, existing parties, or of those within recent history), or slogans. By affiliating your party with a real world political faction, you are bringing such politics into discussion and grabbing the attention of those who recognize it. Real world politics typically invoke a strong emotional response in some viewers and can lead to vehement conflicts extremely quickly.) 13. Create multiple accounts. Only one account per person is authorized, so forum users can be easily identified. Avoiding a ban may result in further permanent action. 14. Operate a shared account. Sharing an account with another user will make conversation difficult should any of the account operators share a difference in opinion. Conflicting statements will impede our ability to help assist any single user on a shared account. Due to this, we request that each account is operated by a single, separate user. 15. Create forum posts that mention specific users in the title. Creating a new topic with the title specifically mentioning another user isn’t conducive to group discussion, especially if the targeted user isn’t comfortable responding in an open format. (For example, don’t make posts like “@usernamehere, why is x and not y?”) If you’re asking a question directly to another user, please do so using the inbox function on the forums. 16. Post Personal Information, or post links containing personal information. Sharing information about others can be harmful to their real-life. 17. Use forum features in unintended ways. Asking for likes, or making a game that incorporates the like/follow buttons artificially inflates user forum stats, making it difficult for other users to determine which content or user is contributing popular content to the site. 18. Discuss Moderator or Administrator actions Publicly. There are often reasons why a decision is made by a moderator or administrator that may be unclear to outside-parties, and off-topic discussion about an admin or moderator decision may be disruptive to a conversation. We politely ask that you trust and respect decisions made by staff. If you have an issue with a specific staff member, please report the matter to a Community Manager. 19. Impersonate Asylum Entertainment Staff or Moderators. When users seek assistance from moderators or Asylum staff, they shouldn't need to worry about encountering the possibility of dealing with an impostor. Always heed the official titles for staff roles on both the forums and discord to help avoid confusion. 20. Intentionally Spread False Information. Spreading rumors you know are falsified and portraying them as fact will only complicate Identity's development and serves to derail the actual constructive criticism offered by other users. Even accidentally giving out false information can be dangerous, so please ask a staff member or reference official statements (Dev Blogs for example). 21. Post or link to illegal, dangerous, offensive or NSFW content. Do not engage in activities that include (but are not limited to) the sharing of sexually explicit content, piracy, malicious code execution (viruses, malware, spyware etc.), gore. Please keep posts pertaining to the M-rated content in Identity reasonable. 22. Create or operate an account with the intention of solely boosting or supporting another user's reputation, poll votes, or opinions. We ask that all users contribute to the forums in ways that don't simply perpetuate someone else's particular viewpoint or account statistics. ***Moderators and staff have the final say on all matters.
