2 points@Jakeyninja did you get your situation resolved yet? Also, I'm not a Moderator or staff member, but just as a suggestion so you don't get in any sort of trouble (I'm a lover, not a fighter, I don't want anyone to get in trouble <3) perhaps chill with the aggression and sarcasm when someone gives you a suggestion like using the search bar. If you paid through Paypal, you should be able to refund it by going to your recent purchases area, although I'm not sure if there's a block on refunds if you wait too long since you paid. Edit: Would it not be better to ask for support via Account Support?

1 pointGreetings everyone, Today I'd like to update you guys on some progress for Identity. Below, you will find new pictures that haven't been shown to the public eye yet. We know you are waiting so eagerly to play, but please remember everything takes time. Thanks to everyone who has shown the developers support thus far!

1 pointThis is innitially a continuation from a previous RP that was started in a different thread. It went well, so we decided to make a new thread just for it, beginning in what we call "Season 2." Anyone is welcome to join. The story is set in the cities of Identity and the theme seems to have a bit of a Gotham feel to it. Crime, justice, and a dash of twisted insanity. A world where there are no battle wizards astride dragons, or fairies weaving flower garlands for elves. There are, however, sinister science experiments, genetic mutations, dark rituals and cryptic things that you thought only existed in nightmares. The world is what you make it, and dark minds, I find, tend to be a bit more fun. So welcome all, to Dark City. RULES: 1. PLEASE try to type as clearly as possible. Relax, take your time, it will yield less typos. Avoid shorthand and proofread your post before submitting. 2. No god-moding. You can not control other people's characters (unless previously arranged), and you are not immune to damage. 3. We all have lives. As such, you will be given 3 days to post a reaction. After that, you will be skipped. The show must go on. 4. NO BULLYING. We simply will not have it. If you're being a dick, you will be killed off in the story and blocked from the thread. If we think of more necessary rules, we will update this accordingly. Participants of Season 1: Because this is its own thread and new people may be joining, please post a brief recap of your character's events in the previous chapter. Thank you and enjoy! *fires a gun in the air*

1 pointI have come to the conclusion that the goals for the Royal Family Party are just not what both @LuciousTimes can agree on. I wish him good luck in his campaign but its just not for me.
-
1 pointHello, I'm new here idk what is going on here lol. Did the game come out yet? I'm confused because I see people looking for workers but I also see questions about the game as if it never came out.
-
1 pointHello, My name is Financier and I am very excited about this game. I am currently studing Finance (BS) in college and would love to use it here. Have a good one!
-
1 pointthat video is just amazing, I love subnautica even though i'm terrified of the ocean lol, thanks for the suggestions/recommendation! that's probably what i'm gonna get haha
-
1 pointI enjoyed building the car the most. Reading your review, you might enjoy this: Just had a look at your library and saw you do not own Subnautica yet. If this game were multiplayer, it would be on of the top five games I've ever played. http://store.steampowered.com/app/264710/Subnautica/
-
1 pointI love that game Not really a car expert but i loved drinking and driving and seeing what trouble I could get myself into (my review -> http://steamcommunity.com/id/offishl/recommended/516750 )
-
1 pointWell there's a lot of good casual games out there, so without any further input on your behalf it's a bit hard to give a recommendation. This is a game I've really enjoyed, because despite the rough looks it's got gameplay spot on. http://store.steampowered.com/app/516750/My_Summer_Car/

1 pointJust to extend on LuckyDuck's comment a little bit, from what I've heard officially, you won't be able to request a trial unless your sentence is over 15 minutes. I also remember hearing somewhere from the Devs that the players who are chosen to become Jurors (I think that's the right word) to vote on the outcome of the trial, will be chosen from players relatively close to the area you're currently in and will send out a message informing them that they are being requested for Jury Duty.

1 pointOh.... My.... God. That's it, my plans of going for Police Officer or Governor are gone. I don't care about them anymore. My new job is going to be blasting out the best tunes on the radio, partying and maybe inviting people onto my show
-
1 pointI am sure you can always do it as a job if you liked e.g. tell people you're a bounty hunter and if they pay you, you will get a job done.
-
1 pointIn english there is no " als " #GermanMistake *Edit* it should be " as "

1 pointThe video is due before the next dev blog, the website is not going to be out until after the next dev blog.

1 pointName: Akiko Hamamoto Race/ethnicities/nationality: Biracial, Nigerian and Japanese, American Appearance: Light brown skin, Shoulder Length hair that is usually flat ironed, 5'5, thin body type, Monolids, thick lips. never wears makeup. Personality: Akiko is a naturally adventurous person. She is quite outgoing and has an energy that few can match. While she can be quite rebellious to rules she isn't a criminal and would much rather stage a protest rather than fight. She's the kind of person that anyone can get along with and can pump anyone up just by speaking. She's the kind of person to look at the bright side of things and is rarely pessimistic. Education: High School Diploma Desired Occupation: Whatever life presents her. She's open to a variety of jobs. Sexuality: She doesn't care about their sex or their gender as long as she's attracted to them. Natural Talents: She is a huge people person. She has a way with words. Misc Facts: She loves the outdoors. Background: Akiko was born to a Japanese father and a Nigerian (black) mother. Her mother was actually a surrogate mother as the Father's wife is barren. Although she never met her biological mother her parents loved her greatly. Her parents encouraged her live life the way her heart desires. They taught her to be care free and to have fun. Growing up was quite easy for her. Her dad was a lawyer and her mom was a neurosurgeon so money was never a problem. Many thought she was going to turn out like them but she didn't want that. She wanted to travel the world. She wanted to experience new things. At age 18 right after she graduated she left to see the world. Her parent's set her up on a tour of the world. This trip lasted two years. When she came back she was happy to be home but she wanted more. She decided to move away. This time she didn't ask for financial help from her parents. She bought a plane ticket and headed for Identity Island. Its there that she will find the adventure she was looking for.

1 pointI wish we could blindfold, handcuff them and pull them around so they don't have the chance to move and we can do whatever we want with them.
-
1 pointYeah, vehicle space will be important due to how jobs and such will be done. Obviously I don't know all the jobs so I'll take an example from Altis Life. Something to do when you first start is to pick some apples and the more vehicle space you have the more apples you can pick and sell and therefore you can make more money. SO from this I imagine there will be similar starting jobs that require vehicle space to make a lot of money.

1 pointNot so much of the button, vans primarially have that. But many older and newer cars with an actual trunk have a type of 'rip cord' which you can pull to open the trunk assuming someone ever got locked in. It hangs from the roof of the door. If your hands were tied from the front it's be easy to grab. If you were restrained from behind however it's a bit more difficult
-
1 pointPhone auto correct sucks... also, I think trunking could work in a few ways. Maybe allow the hostage to bump around a bit, make some noise. Also, some cars often have a release hatch, so you'd have to be smart with the vehicle choice.
-
1 pointThere's no recruitment on official public servers. Anyone can be a police officer. On private servers admins will be able to change recruitment requirements of course. I could reply on every single question you've asked, or remark you've made, but it seems most of these things have been discussed in detail before, and/or are answered in the police FAQ. http://www.identityrpg.com/community/topic/5815-faq-police-department/ (The ONE pinned thread in The Precinct forum). Besides that most other threads in this forum are about the subjects you've asked. Look around first. Read. Read some more. Use search. After that be sure to read a bit more. Then ask questions. Trust me, you'll know nearly anything you need to know by reading around.

1 pointSince kidnapping is already in the game, I imagine that when you go to kidnap someone, it will "bind their hands" or something automatically or restrict their ability to use certain actions. It would completely ruin the immersion if it simply said "You are kidnapped" even though you could still sprint, use every action, pull out weapons or whatever, so I think they'll have that part already considered. Although, a blindfold/bag would be a good idea and would definitely add to the roleplay, making it harder for them to make their way home if they try to escape so good idea there! "Trunking" them would also be a super cool idea, although, I feel like the driving into the ocean thing could be so easily abused and a lot of people would just be kidnapping each other and drowning them haha. But I do like the idea of being able to put them in the trunk. Maybe a way to choose which seat (or the trunk) that you want to place them in, like a little popup hud when they are standing next to the car. Also, I'm so sorry but I just have to correct you: Serial Killer not Cereal haha.

1 pointPreviously, on Dark City: A chemical plant blew the fuck up. Amanda Shepard, aged 28 had been in the building at the time because her father owned it and was trying to push a floor job on her. When it blew up, she was coated in flames and subsequently extinguished by plunging into a vat of chemicals. Firemen managed to get her out of the burning building and into an ambulance nefore rushing back in to their deaths. Amanda arrived at the hospital suffering severe chemical burns over 100% of her body. Essentially a bandaged mummy in a coma, no one expects her to live. Her rich family isn't so torn up about it, given the news that she will be blind and horribly disfigured for the rest of her life if she wakes up. As they talk amongst themselves at her bedside, they assume she can't hear them in the coma. It is quietly revealed that Amanda is in fact, adopted. The heart monitor begins beeping faster and a medical alarm goes off, before everything returns to silence.

1 pointNo you didn't, otherwise you'd have found this topic a few posts down. From what I hear it can take a while to get the refund, since they're like busy trying to create a game for us. They have issued refunds before even though they're not obligated to, so be patient if it takes months to get it.
-
1 pointThere are a million post on this topic. Use the search function to find one.

1 pointI cannot vote on this because the second question ONLY works if you voted YES. I want to vote NO and keep it at that, which is impossible without voting on question number 2. So my answer is NO, without voting. I agree on the developers point of view on this. Adding anything that can fly (besides perhaps a recreational hang glider) will reduce immersion when traveling the island. You wouldn't run into encounters you'd otherwise have when driving or walking from point A to B. The island would feel rather small. Helicopters is what ruined Life mods. There's a 99% chance this won't happen. And I'm more than happy with that.
-
1 point@Xander It would have been great if you actually read http://www.identityrpg.com/community/topic/5815-faq-police-department/. SWAT won't be a full time job. It will be police officers who have unlocked the ability (perk) to get called into the station to switch into SWAT tactical gear when the need arises. Just as the number of LEOs in general will be limited to how much is required (based on the number of online players), the same will be applied to the number of needed SWAT members on a scene. On a side note: SWAT members won't be able to drive the SWAT armored truck. There will be an automated system in place. It will drive the members to the scene. The system is in place to prevent people having a distinct advantage over other people.

1 pointThe Identity Journal. A place where stories don't get muffled in any way, and where facts are the only way to handle news. This is the Identity Journal, and we strive to become the primary source of information when it comes to news in the game. Who was the person that won the previous election? What was the accident that happened down the street? Why is it that I am reading this newspaper?.. Those are the questions that we aim to answer! As a business, we strive to absolute perfection when it comes to news. We do not care about money, politics, crime or other businesses for that matter. All we care about is you, you the reader! That's right, we only aim to deliver the best possible stories that impact the peoples daily lives. Our business model is quite simple. We gather all the information we can from everywhere we can, either through our personal investigators, police force, or our underground moles around the criminal world. All we want is for you to get the best possible news that we can provide you with. What about your personal goals? That is the question, any normal person would ask me. It's quite simple to be fair. I have no interest in power or money in the game. All I want is for The Identity Journal to become the number 1. source of news in the game. Nothing more, nothing less. Behind the mask of "Aengul" I am a young man in the 20th. working full time as a digital designer and photographer, and I've read communications and digital media in my studying years. I've previously made articles in the local newspaper, however nothing to brag about. I ask you! Do you want to become a helper with this endeavor? We need people like you, the player, browsing through the forums and reading threads and posts that peaks your interest. We in The Identity Journal, strive to give you the best news, however we need you to help us with the stories. When we finally launch our platform, we would love to have you on board as a personal source of information. A reward will be given in the form of ingame currency, if we receive a story that we can publish in our weekly newspaper. That is all for now, you'll hear from us in the near future, when we've setup our team, and is ready to deliver stories directly to you! - Aengul

1 pointThere are a lot of forum posts about undercover police. Please try to use the search function! it's a bit easier to find posts about it then making posts and waiting for a reply. It's been answered in the FAQ and plenty of posts made by other players! You've already had your answer so I hope you are satisfied with it! Enjoy your sunday
-
1 pointI do agree with you, but it will not happen. They've decided against that. There won't be undercover cops. There will a clear and visible line between law enforcement and the rest of the population.

1 point$250 Speed Demon package. No regrets so far. Then again, I pledged only recently, so I haven't had to wait for that long, unlike some other people. Too lazy to upgrade your pledge? Wow, I thought I was lazy... So thank you for making my day.
-
1 pointI think Police officers are meant to do pretty much the same as SWAT, but act more as a form of backup to the SWAT force when it comes to their missions
-
1 pointThanks for that but 1. I already am quite educated on how law enforcement works and 2. SWAT dont provide private security for the mayor nor do they participate usually in riots
