3 pointsCould you ask them when they finally plan on releasing pledge previews? I know they said they would, but they never gave an idea as to when. Screenshots would suffice for starters, I'm sure. Later we'll see more with the modules and all. But adding screenshots on the pledge website, or at the very least concept art would help convince more people to pledge. Or pledge a higher tier. Even for the people who pledged now, like us, our rewards are kinda mysterious now. What's the difference between the one-bedroom apartment and the luxury one-bedroom apartment for example? Do we get a screenshot? A sneak preview of a floor-plan maybe? I've pledged $250 for the sports car (well, I pledged mainly to support this awesome game), so I kinda do wish to see what I'll be getting for that kind of money. And I'm very curious of the lower tiers as well, what did I skip? Show me that dirt bike, and that used motorcycle. Show me that studio, and those apartments. Either way: - It could help convince more people to pledge (higher). - It would show us some love for our continuous support and patience. I don't think I'm asking something impossible, like a release date.
-
2 pointsWe've got some new screenshots, as shown on stream the 1th of August 2017.

2 pointsI am completely in support of this party. You can rest assure any candidates belonging to this party will receive my vote.

1 pointGreetings everyone, Today I'd like to update you guys on some progress for Identity. Below, you will find new pictures that haven't been shown to the public eye yet. We know you are waiting so eagerly to play, but please remember everything takes time. Thanks to everyone who has shown the developers support thus far!

1 pointHey guys! I am currently setting up an interview together with @LuckyDuck. There will be unique questions, no simple questions that mostly are being asked on the forums. I am planning to get a lot more insight on the game, without asking too difficult questions that would ruin the expense. If you have any questions u would like to ask the developers, please feel free to reply to this thread. I will run them down, and questions that look interesting and are worth to ask will be added to the list. ( You will be mentioned as well if it comes to that ) Thank you for your read, and thank you very much for participating. Enjoy your day!
-
1 pointNice job with this whole thing! Can really tell lots of effort was put into it. I am a supporter of this party!
-
1 pointYes you can purchase an upgrade before official release but it will be more expensive after the modules are released.

1 pointThe items you receive depending on which pack you buy. Are those items going to transfer to the finished servers? How much money do you get when you start the game? I've seen a few "Refund" posts. Do you offer our money back if we decided we don't like the game? Does this include the $30 pack? Everything included with the packs are ready to be used when I get into the game right now? The videos only display a first person mode. Are there other camera modes? Is there an in game store to purchase items? Can you trade items and money with other players? It is stated that your character can die. I can be murdered at any random time? Is this only a "flagged" pvp thing available worldwide or just between gangs? What age can you create your character? Can you be a 12 year old kid or a 90 year old grandpa? Do I need to eat or can starvation kill me? Once the game is purchased right now, am I done paying for content or will there be a monthly charge to play on your servers? Is there a charge to be revived by an EMT? Do I get billed for mechanic services? Fireman? Police? If yes to any of these questions... Is Obummercare available and how much are the monthly premiums? That's a lot of questions for right now. Thanks in advance

1 pointI have no idea. It looked nice, but not luxurious in any way. So I'm guessing that was a normal version of a two-bedroom apartment. In the current pledge rewards there is no two-bedroom available however. One studio, a one-bedroom apartment and a luxury one-bedroom apartment. But seeing there will be houses and penthouses and such, I'm quite convinced there will be a luxury two-bedroom apartment.

1 pointWell this type of stuff is realistic. If your that gullavle to believe it doesn't then you need to stop being a sheep.

1 pointThe customisation will be partial in the first module but will be more extensive in the full release/ as the game is built. There will be a lot of customisation options but don't expect the over the top edits.

1 pointHello Breezy, I'm FunAsh16 (formerly known as Willbk4). I run a company known as "Arachne clothing". It's a clothing store which focuses on letting graphic designers the chance to show off their work while also earning money. Basically, you design some shirts (or other clothing) in game and I sell your shirts in the store. you get a % of the total sales. If you are interested feel free to contact me here. If you want more information here is the topic on the forms.

1 pointSitting in the back of the van holding his shotgun against his chest, well more like hugging it like it was his child. He listens to the heist team finalize their plan and to make sure all their check marks are checked. He hears one of the guys saying that they are close to the bank. The man in the white mask acts like he has a watch and looks at it. "About freakin time." The man in the white mask says gripping his shot gun cocking the pump back. "Thug liffffe!" He laughs as they make their final turn towards the bank. They come to a stop quickly just before the front glass door. The man in the white mask stands up but then hits his head cause well its a freaking VAN! "Damn it...that is going to leave a mark...Hey Bird boy and Polo...allow me, give me 5 mins and then run that van right thru the front door." White mask opens the van back door and hops out, closing the door behind him. The van would take off and the man in the white mask starts to skip? uhh yeah guess you can say he is skipping towards the front door. The shot gun in right hand, resting on his right shoulder. "La da dee, La da doooo, La da dee doo doo?" He laughs and stops at the glass front door. Tilting his head to the side he points the shotgun at the glass door and just blows the glass away from the door. Again he laughs and skips on into bank lobby." "FREEZE SCUM BAG!" Oh crap there is a bank cop. Pointing his pistol towards the man in the white mask the cop doesn't flinch and keeps it pointed at him "DON'T MOVE DROP THE SHOTGUN AND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK!" "Whoa there fella...Im your back up" With that, white mask spins his shot gun around grabbing it from the barrel and wacks the bank cop, rent a cop whatever you want to call him like a baseball bat right upside the head. "Yea So Back up.." He laughs once again as the cop was knocked out. He kind of kicks the cop out of the way as the man in the white mask steps back waiting for the van to come on down! ( la da dee who is next, dont worry @BarrettSimms I see you coming this way I will PM you for some ideas. also Welcome to the RP @ChimeraSix )

1 pointRunning towards the chemical fire plant Simms stops. Seeing the street lights going out. He looks behind him and see more lights going out. "what the?" Simms pulls his Air mask off. He looks back towards the fire and then back to where all the lights are going off. "Damn it what a perfect plan..." He turns around and runs back to his DEA unit removing the fireman gear and dropping it to the ground. "Boys Rally up we need to hit the streets this is a distraction!" One of the agents hands him his bulletproof vest. He slides it back on and takes his m4 back. All the agents are hoping into the two SUVs as so does Agent Simms. The SUVs roar out of the area of the fire to hit the streets "Radio check" Simms says as he shakes his head and forgetting that the power is out. he grabs his cell phone and dials the SUV infront of him. "Guys Comms are down but phones works..so lets think...powers out what are the bad guys up to?" Agent 1: "steal cars?" Agent 2: " break into the mayors place?" Agent Simms: "Steal money from a Bank. Car one head to the nearest bank in a 25 mile radius." The Suvs hit their lights and go screeching down the road heading towards the bank. (just and FYI there are 5 DEA agents 3 in the lead SUV and 2 in the second SUV. sorry for it being so short)

1 pointWelcome to the Identity community @TripNA! I hope to see you around! Also, just a helpful hint: If you want to play the beta of Identity, you need to buy the Founder pack, not the Citizen. Also, prices will go up after the first module is released, so make sure you get what you want soon!
-
1 pointThx for the info, I ment appartments not houses between my example of 2 servers.. Sorry my mistake I don't mind the redecorating, unless it would be everytime you'll have to join.. But if it's just when you join another official server than I'm fine with that.

1 pointThe items you receive are items for the finished servers. The Town Square module is just a preview module. The level of studio or apartment you've pledged for will be available during the Town Square module, so you can try to customize that one. If you've pledged for a studio, one bedroom apartment, or a luxery one bedroom apartment, you'll get try that one out! If your pledge holds a vehicle as a bonus, you'll have to wait to try your car/motor. There won't be vehicles in the Town Square module. As for refunds, as far as I see they refund before the module gets released. I'm uncertain of what happens after that point. If I were them I'd close the refunds after the first module, or at least before the beta starts. But it's up to them. @LuckyDuck should be able to provide more info on this. There are other camera modes. The game defaults to third person even! But first person is accessible as well, as you've seen. You will be able to trade yes! And there's banking, so there's that. Getting murdered is not possible in safe zones (your own place, malls, or anything with metal detectors at the doors. And even outside, RDM'ing is harder because of an implemented stress system. The less stress your character has, the less damage it will take. It will work more complicated as this I'm sure. We'll see in time. The age I'm unsure of, but seeing kids are not in game, it's safe to say 18 or 21 as a minimum. Anything adult, just unsure which law they'll follow for this. I believe you can make an elder character, just unsure what the maximum age will be. You CAN eat and drink, but not doing so won't kill you. It will give you negative effects such as decreased stamina, to sum one up. There will be no monthly pay. Buy once, play forever. And the only planned micro-transactions are apartments, cars, clothing. Nothing to unbalance gameplay. And nothing you really need to play the game fair. About the being billed part. Yes you get billed for services like that. Police for example get passive pay, but most of their income still comes from arrests and other jobs they do. Safe to say EMT's will get the same treatment, or any government provided service. I don't know about a healthcare plan. I hope this suffices a bit. Also read the FAQ's. There's plenty (per subfora even!)

1 pointHey will there be any form of music making as a career? or will there be a job for the radio? thanks!

1 pointMany have been asking what Coalition means in our name, for those interested Coalition is there because the CCP is supposed to be a middle ground between Conservatism and Libertarianism, this is where the name comes from, as we see it as a Coalition between Conservatives and Libertarians. The ideology we hold is similar to Right-Libertarianism, Objectivism, and Fusionism.
-
1 pointThe stress system works like this; Example: I have a low stress level, if a gun gets pointed at me then I will gain more stress, if I run I will get a bigger stress increase. If I point a gun and shoot at someone then I will receive a higher stress level. If said stress level is high, I am more likely going to die e.g. easier to kill. The lower the stress level of someone means they are harder to kill. I hope this helps a bit more and is easy to understand. Safe zones have metal detectors and on entry removes all weapons, once that person exits, he will receive said removed weapons etc. Regards, LuckyDuck.

1 pointI'm think this game was just away to make quick money off us. they stated the first part of the game will be playable in the first 3 months of 2017 its now 7 months in, 4 months passed the time frame they stated and still nothing, we're paying for beta access not pre order access that means we should be playing something after those 4 months over the time frame.
-
1 pointJust because you paid them doesn't mean you get to dictate their schedule. You knew that you were purchasing a pre-alpha game, don't complain if you already knew what you were buying into. You are welcome to return it. The first module will be out in late August or September. The full game will be out mid-late 2018. They aren't trying to sell something, they are trying to make something. If they were just interested in the money then they wouldn't offer refunds.

1 pointFirstly, there aren't many conservative parties, most people here who have a party are power hungry extremists (hence all of the communist and socialist parties) secondly, we unlike many are a real political party. I am not running for governor, I am not a candidate but rather the chairman of the party. Other parties are not like this, the chairman is the candidate because they are only seeking power. Unlike them, I will not nominate myself, and I will not nominate anyone before the game is out. In fact I will not nominate anyone myself, as we will have primary elections to decide our candidates. We also stand the test of time, being the oldest political party, and the first political party.
-
1 pointIdentities oldest political party, is the party that will stand the test of time, it is the party that will prevail.

1 pointLow taxes doesn't always mean you need a small police force, truly it is all about allocation. If you cut more from areas where government doesn't need to be you can afford to put more into law enforcement, again it really just depends on how we allocate things. While the police force may have less money under the CCP than another party, I can assure you they will not be underfunded.

1 pointGlad you asked, (what we seek is quite complex, and may be confusing so feel free to ask questions if you have any) I prefer a libertarian stance on the issue. Essentially the issue of gay marriage is a problem created by the government through marriage licenses. So as it stands marriage is between you and the government. Technically the government could even say no to a straight couple. Now I do not believe the government needs this power, marriage licenses are quite pointless and could be done away with. No marriage licenses would mean marriage is no longer between you and the government but rather between you and your own religion, as it should be. Most issues can be solved by removing government from the equation, and this is one of them. The government has no right to regulate marriage, this is not something the constitution gives it the right to do, and this is something that could be abused by government at any moment. But I don't support the liberals on the issue either, sure they want to legalize gay marriage which would give you the same result as what I want, but what we want is to completely take government out of marriage, not just add more things for government to approve / deny.

1 pointMay as well bump this again I guess... There are just so many insane parties out there, communists, anarchists, fascists, even a group that wants to instate a monarchy. Even if you are not voting for the CCP, please keep things sane, and away from these power-hungry lunatics.

1 point1. Add a nice hill, overlooking the city, and have it a windey road so we can drift our cars down it at night 2. Gym system where the more you work out (over quite a while) you get bigger like in GTA san Andrea’s 3. If its possible, id like to surf the waves at the beach with a surfboard 4. Can we make sandcastles at the beach then destroy them, as a minigame. 5. Would be cool if there was an amusement park and you could go on the rides, like the ferris wheel and the rollercoasters. 6. Addictions and buffs to having drugs, so there is a point to sell them to other players. 7. If its possible, to leave dead bodies, laying there until they are cleaned up by a councilman or something. (would be good for detective rp) 8. Skateboarding and Bmx riding so we can go to the skatepark. 9. Proper fighting. 10. Parkour? or at least be able to do flips and stuff off boats and jetties into water or just off objects around the city. 11. Tattoo parlors with a tattoo minigame (it puts the stencil and you move your mouse to tattoo it) 12. Shoot from vehicles (drive-bys) etc. 13. Some fun features for women models (if they go for a jog, their boobs bounce) 14. Tent/camping is the cheapest way to live in regards to shelter 15. Perhaps a better way of getting a guy who is resisting/evading police on foot, if you could possibly chase, then tackle and restrain or -something? 16. Underwater creatures such as whales, dolphins (that go in heards), Sharks that can eat you, fish, etc. 17. Spray paint so citizens or gang members can tag certain areas with their gang tag (minigame) 18. You can take your clothes off and go streaking if you wish (but can get arrested for indecent exposure if a cop see's you) 19. You can buy food from grocery store and put it into your cupboard or fridge 20. Buy furniture, put it into your Ute or have it delivered to your house in a truck and you can pick it up and put it into your house where you want it 21. Drug and alcohol effects (not just vision but like how your body acts, if you’re drunk you stumble etc.) 22. If one officer escorts a man, the officer walks behind the player, the player can choose to fight the escort or comply (like click on a button which makes it hard for the officer to escort), whilst escorting, if another officer escorts, they stand side-by-side with the player, to reduce 'tension', thus making it easier to escort. 23. Be able to purchase oil drums, storage crates, etc. And make it so you can store guns or drugs, in them. 24. Buy a GPS for your car in order to know where to go (if there’s no map) but it would be more realistic and challenging if only GPS, could also buy a map not just have it defaulted. 25. Animations - dancing without a weapon, pushups/sit-ups, stretches, hand signals and heaps of other cool animations to play around with, etc. Some exercises help build muscle if you eat right.

1 pointFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) 1. How are Kickstarter backers different from website backers? There is only one difference between backer rewards for the Kickstarter and website. Kickstarter backers will receive a unique in-game hat with the Kickstarter logo. Website backers receive a hat with the Identity logo. No new content in the future will ever display either of these logos. 2. Many people are confused on what the game is about. Would you mind telling us what your vision for the game is? Is the game more about Cops vs Robbers, or a balance between all the available paths? Identity is a cops and robbers game at heart, but it is a life simulator in so many other ways. We’re catering to role-play in a way that is possibly the first of its kind. Players have the freedom to pursue careers that will impact the player economy in their own unique way. Become a taxi driver, deliver goods to player-owned businesses, fight fires, save lives, argue a case in criminal court, or just hold out your hand and beg for money. Find, or steal your ‘identity’! 3. What can you tell us about the world? World size? Player limit? We anticipate that the playable world size will be 200 square kilometers, or 77 square miles in comparison. This means that the whole map is 14 km wide, and would take about an hour and a half to walk across. We hope to support up to 300 players (or more!) per server. 4. Can you expand on the professions? We know there will be cops, but what types of jobs will be available for civilians? Will they be able to create their own businesses? Create their own items? etc. Also, Medics and Firefighters? Players can choose from a wide range of professions, including the ability to become a Firefighter, EMT, Taxi Driver, Farmer, Bounty Hunter, Fisherman, Logger, Miner, Delivery Driver and even a business entrepreneur. The options available to you as a player get more specific than this even, but we aren’t yet ready to expand on the full list. The direction of development is prone to change, and we don’t want to promise anything that might change down the pipeline. Business ownership allows players to own factories and small business, giving them control over what items are manufactured and sold. Items created by a factory must be delivered to their destination city where store owners in that area can decide what quantity and type (formal wear, casual, punk outfits, weapons, etc.) they wish to list in their business. Some default items are always available in all stores for when market demand is not met. 5. How will death be handled? When a player dies, some items such as the money the player is carrying at that time, will be dropped on the ground and will become accessible to anyone in the area that wishes to take it. Clothing items will never be dropped. We have decided that a player’s character appearance in a social game like Identity is important. You will always look the way you decide your character to look. If the player is not resusitated by an EMT or teammate, the player is then prompted to respawn at the location of their last sync (house, apartment, city) Private servers have some control over what types of items players will drop on death, if any at all. 6. Can you expand on how the housing system will work? Size and availability of apartments and houses? Players can choose to own or rent housing in Identity, while apartments can also be shared with a friend or roommate depending on the size of the property. For instance, two friends, or a married couple can choose to purchase a 2 bedroom apartment where they both can live comfortably with each other. Apartments and houses are fully customizable, allowing players to place furniture and objects anywhere in the room. Home-owners can invite other players into their apartment or house at any time. Players cannot access another players home without an invitation. 7. Will there be any specific safe areas where people can go AFK or sit and socialize without being killed or robbed? There are safe zones within certain types of buildings in Identity. Metal detectors serve to preserve immersion, and will temporarily remove any weapons upon entry, allowing all players in the area to safely relax, socialize and meet new friends. These safe zones are known to us as “Sub-Hubs” or social gathering points that reflect on the lifestyle theme of their environment (Biker Bar, Business club, Bum alley, etc.). While many of these areas can only be accessed by law-abiding citizens, some Sub-Hubs are neutral and can be entered by any player on the map. Few areas are designated gathering points for active criminals looking for the right crime of opportunity, or new friends to help them plan their next heist. 8. How will player identification work in game? Will names appear above players heads? If so, at what distances will they be seen? As our design stands right now, the official servers do display names over heads within certain ranges. Some things like masks and balaclavas can affect this. Moreover, private servers have an option where they can hide names from all players unless greeted. By this I mean you won’t see the name over another player until they perform an emote action, after which you’ll always see their name.
