We are a logistics company that will strive towards building a solid and stable logistics core in a domestic and commercial way. Whether it be vehicle technology or a pseudo global warming mechanic. See below for some of our current ideas. The above images show a custom in-vehicle operating system that allows the driver to log in with their unique credentials provided to access an array of custom features including delivery schedule, navigation maps, important updates from HQ, panic button, SOS breakdown recovery (and more). We would also like to implement a custom "Start/Stop" system, acting as a type of AFK mechanic. So if your vehicle is left unattended or idling for more than 15 seconds, the engine will cut off and then will automatically resume when the accelerator is pressed. This will save fuel and add immersion. Here is the PDA that we plan on using for our drivers when they are delivering goods. Our warehouse will be modern, in a vast and easily accessible area to meet all of our storage and operational needs. Exterior: Interior: This is our high detailed warehouse plan, it was made with full efficiency and productivity in mind. We took numerous hours to plan and assemble the blueprint. See numbered legend for specific details on each room. The office building will be the back-bone of our company, so we want to make sure it's comfortable and stylish for our employees. Exterior: Interior: Here at Velocity Logistics, security is of the up-most importance. So it is vital to us that we keep our customers belongings and logistics safe. To ensure this all employees will have a ID card for access to our warehouses and offices. The plan I have envisioned for Velocity Logistics is a consistent and efficient security procedure which will allow for smooth operations in any situation. Now I know that data protection is a very worry-some topic among businesses, so here at Velocity Logistics, all of our data centers will be kept securely in an isolated room with 24/7 surveillance and if that isn't enough, all electrical devices will have anti intrusion software which changes it's algorithms to match whatever type of cyber attack is happening. As stated above, all the employees will be given a special key card, with higher authority allows access to more places. Our warehouses will be fitted with hidden CCTV with facial recognition. As for our delivery vehicles, they will have GPS tracking integrated inside, as well as alarms. - Jin, Security Director Our uniform will be sleek, modern and comfortable.     I'll take a stab at this! 01. We need to do proper play-testing and experimenting before I can answer this one, one way or another. I can say it'll be considered, but it comes down to gameplay and balance more than anything else. 02. Yes, eventually you'll even have access to it for playing around in Town Square. 03. Yes. 04. Not a different headquarters. The way that SWAT works is that when an event occurs which warrants SWAT reaction, SWAT officers will be notified and can report to a nearby HQ. While at the HQ they'll gear up and then deploy together via a SWAT APC/truck. This truck isn't a drivable vehicle, it's an automated system to deploy the SWAT people to the scene. SWAT is limited to the area of the event, as their equipment is very powerful.

[One Behind The Ear] ⦁ Hit & Run ⦁ Accidental ⦁ Kidnapped (And Killed later) ⦁ Sabotaged (Car Bombs, Framed etc.) A. These are the most commonly asked methods. (Surely, there will be more methods on how to dispatch a target, when the game provides us the environment to do these type of things.) Q. "Awesome! But I'm not A Client, I want to join 'Esoterica'!" A. Well, that can be arranged. But we must warn you. We are not exactly what you call, A 'Clan' or 'Gang'. This is more exciting than that! But a lot more difficult... In-fact, we're more of A organised 'Order' than anything else. It's like this for our members to ensure our/their secrecy compared to any of the obvious mafias. However, you could be from A mafia, and still work 'With' us. So long as you/we have permission from your leader. (To not break rules of course.) This will be arranged with many crime-bosses, Gangbangers, and even the innocent Civilians. Everyone is capable of joining 'Esoterica', but you will have to prove yourself by showing off your skills. When provided targets come up for you. As such, you will be paid in a shared cut, depending on the circumstances and conditions of the hit. We could go on and on about this, but hopefully, you got A good understanding on how we're going to operate compared to many other factions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Codes (Rules) 'Esoterica' refers our simple 'Rules' as 3 unique Codes instead, because they're not drastically restricted... But if broken, will lead to dire consequences. There will be exceptions with loyal members and allies of 'Esoterica' that have proven, and gained our trust. We fully understand, mistakes are imminent. 1. "Esoterica is No one... But we're everywhere..." Nobody is truly "The leader", of Esoterica, but "The Leading Provider" meaning, if you consider yourself higher than others for the hell of it? Abusing authority! (When The Leading Provider takes care of that already.) You don't belong in 'Esoterica'. (The Current "Leading Provider" is TheNerdyChef") 2. "Esoterica does not affiliate with anyone... But we Know Everything..." Members should know not to ever! Be attached in any sort of way, to A Target. Yet have everything they can use against them. Being only important information to assist A hit. The Code also provides that you can never mention Esoterica to anyone else! Because "Esoterica does not Affiliate". "So how can 'Esoterica' make Allies and contacts with Other Clans, Gangs, Mafia's, and Clients?" you may ask. Well,'Esoterica' is "No one". So how can it affiliate with anyone in the first place? So 'We' Can make allies, but because we're still the foundation of Esoterica, it means we can't contact anyone until "We" are contacted. 3. "Esoterica Is Deceitful... But We are Better..." Don't let yourself be deceived, in this case "Esoterica". Or anything in that regard. We make the moves, We are more creative. We are Better. Everyone is Unique and belongs, so don't let anyone take that away from you! Also, it means not to be "Deceived" By your target, whether He/She would try to Bribe you for A Better deal, or overestimating Him/Her. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The System (Ranks) The System may sound like increasing ranks in a hierarchy. But in reality, they’re more like four separate parallel pathways. This gives us further understanding of our clients and members. Rated by their professionalism and skill level, to help Influentiate our state of the art 'Contract's System'.The more you do Contracts for us, the more we understand on which Pathway you are walking on. This simply being 3 progression lines: (With exceptions of Dilettante, Provider and Leading Provider.) Novice, Journeyman, and Master. Novice- A Novice Hitman. The trainee. Whether they're affiliated with a gang, or an organized crime syndicate. Some of them, will be connected by 'Esoterica'. Proving themselves and impressing our peers with their unique methods, loyalty, and unmatched skill. The road is unforgiving, but there is somewhat, luxury at the end of the day. This is where everyone starts, and hopefully... You will be alive by the end of it... But no promises... Dilettante- Or "Clean-skins". Are the same Rank/Category as the Novice. (Treated the same) But with different motives that drive them. They are desperate individuals. Either it be A traumatic divorce that has landed them in serious debt, or simply... They're looking for that easy buck, and itching to acquire any means to get it! (Keep in mind the Definition of Dilettantes: A person who cultivates an area of interest, such as the arts, without real commitment or knowledge.) By no surprise, there will honestly be more Dilettantes than Novices. (Which is not exactly A 'Bad' thing...) But In Theory, the average Novice that doesn't have any emotional attachment and fully dedicated to his work, would have increased chances of being successful in carrying out targets/hits. But the Clean-skin would be caught. Simply Being that A Dilettante is not a heartless killer, but an ordinary person. Driven into profound measures, within A profound business. With more research, we discovered there were also some cases of a Dilettante’s intended target, were talked out by the target themselves. Some cases of Bribery to spare them, accepting the higher Bribe than the actual payout of the target. Ironically the most common however, is actually any type of affiliation/contact to the target. So for Clean-skins out there, this road will be a lot more tougher than your counterpart... But not impossible. (However, betray us... And there will be consequences.) There will be exceptions on your motives and most importantly, your Will power, 'Will' be tested. (In fact, it already was now... If you read the whole Dilettantes section thoroughly and understand it? You are capable, and there IS place for you, in this line-of-work) Journeyman- In contrast, the Journeyman or occasionally called the Veteran's of the Hitmen. Are experienced, reliable killers that skillfully plan their missions, 10 steps ahead of the target. These Guys have no remorse. True Sociopaths... And 'Esoterica' likes it this way. Providers & Leading Provider- Nothing is known about these individuals, only the obvious answer is that they "Provide" contracts to whoever is the highest bidder. Speculation spins around that these type of individuals are Retired, Master Hitmen. That they "Served" their time, but still Provide (Get it?) guidance and jobs to whomever they please. Evidence supports this because A "Provider" needs that knowledge for his "Peers" to help them achieve the right amount skill. Who is more Sinister? The Murderer, or The People that make them? Master- Finally, there is the Master Hitman. You can't even consider them 'Man'. These... Things, can be however mistaken as Phantoms or even Mythical figures. But trust us, these individuals are indeed, Real. But their Identity's remain unknown or at least, extremely well hidden. And don't worry! We got them lurking in the shadows... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Contracts (Jobs) The last important section. The Contracts is how A Hitman can stay organised, functional and choose his/her destined targets. 'Esoterica'and it's "Providers" are the very Clockwork of The Contracts. Keeping it ticking while "Us" do the dirty work. (Or clean, if you can manage it...) In order for this to work, we designed A simple, but easily decipherable spreadsheet that will get regular updates on current contracts. ( This is just a small preview, will be more detailed ) This is just the first stage prototype of it. These contracts will be provided by real players from Identity. Passed on to "The Providers", then passed on to A suitable Hitman to perform this contract. (Cycle: Player>Provider>Hitman>Target) After the hit is done. Payday comes! So how is money going to work? Well for now, we don't know how difficult it is to earn money in Identity, due to the game having minimal information on that. But we do know that it will simulate A Economy in the game, meaning prices will be changed on A Supply and Demand basis. This will come into play of our Contracts as well, prices changing, values of the targets and contracts will never be the same. Now more on the topic of placing A hit on A Target. Our deal is, when we carry out A task. Payment in advance will be required. Remember, this can be bargained as well. For instance, let's say the Target you want dead. 25,000$ will have to be the payment in advance to show us your not kidding. While your offering 50,000$ on his head already. You can hassle us, as long as it still comes to terms of our Pay in Advance Policy and it is surely reasonable. With Refunds, there will be exceptions on whether we should give your money back, depending on the situation. If it's completely Accidental and you want your money back. How the system works, is that you should be responsible for the Hit, just as much as our members perform it. If you don't want your target dead after offering A Hit/Contract. That payment in Advance will not be refunded to compensate that you have wasted our time and should feel responsible. (As well as summoning us in the first place...) However, if the hit was already carried out, but you didn't want them dead. There will be investigation on whether you should deserve at least 1/3 of your money back to help compensate. (This is much WIP [Work In Progress] So bare with us!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Misc.(Fun facts) If you have any further questions, please give A reply and A Bump on this forum. Assassinate: Murder (An important person) for political or religious reasons. The word "assassin" was derived from Hasan-i Sabbah and his Assassin's Order of Nizari Ismailism. Most Hitmen are to either be killed by another Hitman than actually getting caught. Or Simply 'Dissapear' (And Presumed Dead) Hitmen are more likely to murder their victim while they walk the dog or go shopping in suburban neighbourhoods. Despite their comparative disadvantages, handguns are more easily concealable, and consequentially much more commonly used than rifles. Of 74 principal incidents evaluated in a major study about assassination attempts in the U.S. in the second half of the 20th century, 51% were undertaken by a handgun, 30% with a rifle or shotgun, 15% used knives, and 8% explosives (usage of multiple weapons/methods was reported in 16% of all cases). The average cost for murder is about $25,000 and the cheapest hit cost's only $350. A sniper with a precision rifle is often used in fictional assassinations. However, certain difficulties attend long-range shooting, including finding a hidden shooting position with a clear line-of-sight, detailed advance knowledge of the intended victim's travel plans, the ability to identify the target at long range, and the ability to score a first-round lethal hit at long range, usually measured in hundreds of meters. A dedicated sniper rifle is also expensive, often costing thousands of dollars because of the high level of precision machining and hand-finishing required to achieve extreme accuracy. Most assassinations are carried out to help further into political gain for individuals.     There has been a recent growth in political population. Between mayor candidates, governor candidates, and citizens who choose to use their voice more overall involvement has increased. THIS IS GOOD, but due to the different mindsets and lack of education on some issues an explosion of disrupt in peace has sprouted. It is evident who the leading politicians are ( @ThomasHetch, @BobbyCruz, @JoelKeys & @LuciousTimes [myself] ) and every single one of us has one shared goal, ensure our policies provide a good life for EVERY CITIZEN on the Identity Island! It's simple! We all have a different way of going about things, BUT we all want the same thing. In this form, I want everyone that desires to have a part in the politics of Identity to discuss the following topics in the following order in order to build or at least see and analyze what policies work best. The politics that will matter in the game are: Taxes, Healthcare, Law Enforcement, Crime Punishments We will all discuss the first topic ( Taxes ). After together we have come to build something most favorable I will conclude the topic and we may then move to the next. I hope this builds peace amongst the people of Identity and foundation for the game once built. May @Motown and the other developers find favor with this.

    Like Radack said above, There will be no dedicated server hosting/ hosting off of your own machine or PC. There will be no modding as of full release either. You can rent servers from chosen hosts of the developers.

    Zoey slides out of the container as it's opened, along with the fish guts, out on the floor. She'd shrug, and stand up with the help from Barret. She immediately noticed his badge, "DEA, Agent Simms, huh? Well... You're just in time. However there's no drugs in there. I've checked." Zoey jokingly thumbs back to the container she was just in. "I need some air...", she'd say and the head outside, away from the DEA Agents, before the EMS arrive. She'd look around the outside for a moment, thinking to herself. Still covered in fish guts. "Where'd I park that damned rust bucket of a car again?" Shrugging, Zoey starts walking around the neighborhood. After 20 minutes, she finally finds her car. And goes to sit in the drivers seat. She'd lean over to the passenger seat, and opens the glove box. Taking out a small bottle of Jack Daniels. And starts drinking directly from the bottle. As she then notices, in the corner of her eye, a black box sitting on the passenger seat. Zoey inspects the box closer. It's a black box, with a white bow attached to it. And a note. Which reads; "Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth." Zoey quickly stops touching it, and opens her glove compartment again, and takes out a pair of plastic gloves. As to not leave any more fingerprints, or ruin any that may already be there. And she'd carefully open the box. Revealing a white mask laying inside of it. She inspects it closer, and peeks under the mask. Without moving it too much. Zoey shrugs, and closes the box. Taking another sip of her Jack Daniels, before placing the bottle away under the glove compartment. And starts her car, then drives off to the police station. Where she's also been living temporarily. When she arrives at the station, she drives down to the garage. Then calls for a couple of CSU Investigators down to her car, to check the car and, more importantly, the box. And keep her updated on any of their findings. In the mean time, Zoey heads to the locker rooms to take a shower, and change her clothes. Then she heads back to her office, and lies down on the couch. Having brought with her bottle of Jack Daniels, she falls asleep drinking. (( Sorry for my month long hiatus. Real life happened. Anyway, I'm back'ish now. @UnknownX - You'll have to let me know what the CSU people are gonna find, either here, or via PMs. That can be evidence such as your DNA on the car, or the box itself, like a finger print or a strand of hair. And the material of the mask, where or how it's made. How new it is. Etc... Anything that could help us in catching you. If anything at all. @BarrettSimms - Good rescue. Sorry I had Zoey leave. I figured being stuck in a RP conversation on this forum would take too long. And possibly even be a bit spammy. Or we'd have to assume what the other one was saying, which wouldn't be fun for the other if one assumed wrong. ))

    Thanks, but I'd rather just be officially recognized as an FBI agent in the game. As I'm pretty there won't be any actual FBI positions in Identity, unfortunately. I'm still remaining hopeful though! And I'm not really a fan of Arma 3. Or the HRP aspect of it. I prefer Light to Medium.

    Let me expand on that a bit so nobody gets the wrong idea. In any city or town there are "shops" set up around which are player ownable. If you lease one of these structures you can make them whatever you like: a clothing store, or a restaurant/bar in your case. If you get a beachfront property to do this then yep, it's possible! They'll be in high demand, I'm sure. You can swim in water and there's beer and other drinks.

I am also always on this forum and also same with the other moderators. (It is not a ban reason if someone is complaining.) You are just wasting your time coming here and you obviously don't believe this game won't exist because that is why you come back to complain. I may be a random person to you but on this forum I am a Moderator and I have to abide by rules to and I just help people who need help. The help is open if you want it, seeing as you are still here. We are always on mate.

    It is your opinion if you think they are scamming, but people asked for a development stream, they got them starting to do that and still some are un-happy. The more you push the more likely this game will be ruined. If you don't like the devs working at their own pace then you have that choice to refund, you also have the choice to be patient and wait or you have the choice to be impatient and complain making a "NMS" more predictable. They are not scamming us as well, they are refunding those people who ask for it. If you don't want a refund and you don't like the pace, I would go and occupy myself with other things instead of complaining to make the game turn rotten even when it is not the intent of doing that. I believe the devs are going as fast as they can, and they are trying to please us as much as possible and get so far with giving something what we ask for but then others don't like what was asked for by the majority. Yes we all want the video, yes it is taking too long for it, but we can put faith in the devs decision as I think they know what they are doing and they deserve to take their time as some don't get paid as they chose for the money to be spent on assets and more devs instead to create the game faster. Patience is all what is needed and I think if you are not happy with the things we get then I don't believe you will be as satisfied with just the video. The devs are trying, they are responding with giving more things shown, how much more can they do to keep most of it a surprise? I am sure many things but I am sure the devs have looked over most if not all of them.

    also, the 3d objects were hand modeled even the phone took forever. also since I'm a game developer from experience in unity and blender it would probably take me 5 years to make all the assets custom made in blender by myself for town square let along the game so don't hate this jizz is hard and they are making a lot of progress for such a heavy load on a small team luckily they are pros at this type of stuff and they have experience with this so they're going faster than they should. ps: im not trigger with you

    See thats the thing with people like you, they show you something interesting and give people what they've been asking for, yet here you are complaining. People like you will never be satisfied with anything. Be happy that instead of doing the gaming hour they took that and show some game development because thats what the people were asking for.

    Maybe you should consider reading through DEVBlogs, Youtube Videos and the Offical Website before deterring the work of others. Kickstarter may have the policy of no refunds on unfinished projects, but that doesn't mean it won't be released. It's people like you that question the little errors or smallprints that seem to be offputting which puts you in massive disbelive of the current intentions of games like this. If you're gonna cry bout it, leave.

    Wow, what a month. It's been busy here at Asylum as usual, so let's get down to the interesting stuff! As expected, our current focus is on the Town Square so that we can get it out to you as soon as possible. We're finalising the interior of the library and art gallery (shared within one building) and adding polish to the environment. Once the clothing store interior is complete following that, the Town Square environment is ready to go. We'll continuously be adding more art after release though; specifically for house furnishings, decorations and clothing. In addition to the environment art, Miroslav (character artist) has been creating all sorts of hair assets which allow us to show hair appropriately when wearing a hat or helmet. This is a big task for him as it means making variations to match the hat options for each length of hair, but in the end it'll ensure your hair always looks as you'd expect when wearing headgear. Hair under a hat; work in progress Right next to the clothing shop you'll find a bicycle store where you can get a sneak preview of some of the bikes you'll be able to ride around in the full Identity release. We showed you a bicycle work in progress last blog post and now you can see the finished result of that below. This image will give you a rough idea of the detail level you'll see in Identity's vehicles. Ridable bicycle With more final systems coming online for the Town Square release, we now have functioning phones. Each player will start with a cellphone, although you'll be able to upgrade it with three mobile OS options available. The phone OS' each have a unique and interesting style. Characters also have a designated phone number assigned when they're created; you'll be able to get a custom number for a fee. These phones work just as you'd expect. You're able to dial up another player and speak with voice remotely. Businesses can even get a business line which, when called, will contact a member of that corporation who's online. Shot from an internal system test: advertising While the art of the billboard above isn't final, it gives you a very good idea of what you can expect in Identity for advertising. That's right, you can really publish messages around the world through billboards and other means. Corporations and those running for government office can purchase billboard space to help get their message out. You'll select a graphical template from a large list of options and then attach a brief message or other customization to make it your own. These billboards can also be moderated by the server operators. There are other similar advertising systems, too. For example digital road signs can be made to show custom messages by the current government. We can't wait to show you more of Identity, and we'll soon have that opportunity with the release of an overhauled website. Those current pledge packages are about to go away forever, and some of the rewards won't be available for purchase again after the new website changes. Also, follow us on our Twitch channel if you'd like to stop in and ask questions of the developers. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you'll find a few developers playing a random game from 4pm EST to 5pm EST. Ask any questions and they'll be happy to answer on stream.     Hears the bang in the third container. One of the DEA agents bang on it again and listens to. "Simms she is in number three!" Simms walks over to the panel and looks down at it.He slings his m4 around his back and sighs. His hand hovers over number 3 button, he presses the button as it lights green. he looks up at his guys and then back to the last numbers to pick. "Screw it im going with my gut" He slam his fist down on the button number "1" and it lights up Green also A pictures shows up on the panel as its the man in the white mask. "1 and 3 is what you pick lucky 13 you win...she is free and so is your city is safe. (Hope you don't mind X I stole your line from our PMs)" the man in the white mask says. a small door opens on 1 and 3 container spilling out the water in one and the fish guts and what not out of three. All the officers step back as the ground is covered in water and fish guys. Simms walks over to containers three. "Anderson?!? you ok?" He extends his hand insides the container. "Anderson?" He looks back at the other DEA agents. "Someone Call Poison control and get tank 2 cleared, and call EMS " The DEA agents do what they are told and make the calls.
