2 pointsI got a shitty one and it wasn't worth showing it as it was a bad pic I took. @yellowhero12 I sent him a pm the same day he posted that comment asking him for some details so I could help him and I got no reply. So I decidedd to leave the PM as he clearly just wants to complain unless he gave up that day.

1 pointFAQ (Publish Questions You Want Below!) Everyone has had questions about the police department, so I'm here to make an FAQ from information from the developers, and also plain simple answers. (Not all information is guaranteed to be correct and any developer/staff member can leave a comment stating anything different to what I have said.) 1. Can I be [This Rank]? Answer: I have already discussed this with Motown and it is clear that on your own private servers that yes, you are able to choose who is which rank, however on the official servers. Motown has said that it is unlikely in the first place that there will be a police chief (On steam). And he has also told me that even if there is It will be a staff member or a developer. Other Points: Points above confirmed, however, it is not clear to me yet whether there will be a ranking system at all, or whether it will depend on time played on the server etc. 2. Is there going to be an age limit for the police department? Answer: It is very unlikely that there will be an age limit as they do not want to restrict players to what they can do in-game, also players do not want to be hyped up for police department and then not be able to become a police officer. Other Points: Confirmed 3. What are the amounts for the citations going to be? Answer: It is likely that the ticket/citation prices will be preset as this will stop the few 1 or 2 trolls who want to try and ticket someone $99999 for not stopping at a stop sign. But there will probably be different prices for each type of ticket, for example, a different price from Reckless Driving to Speeding. Other Points: Confirmed 4. Will there be trials/courtrooms? Answer: From what I've heard, yes. There will be courtrooms and trials, so there is a possibility that there will indeed be bail. However that is not confirmed, although I think this would be a good idea since not that many people with have money at the start so it won't be like every single person gets bailed. Other Points: Read below Warning: Motown has now confirmed with me that there will be NO bail. The below is a quote from Motown about the jailing system: "When you are sent to prison, you can request a trial if your prison sentence is over 15 minutes. If your trail is accepted, you can plead your case or have your selected lawyer plead your case for you, in front of a row or player jurors. After your time is up to plead your case, they vote guilty or not guilty. There is no player judge. If voted Not guilty, you get set free, and if voted guilty, you get sent back to the prison yard" 5. Will there be sub-divisions (SWAT, Aviation, K9 etc)? Answer: Well we already know that SWAT will be a thing due to the module being shown here. However, we have not been told about K9, Aviation etc yet. I believe that they will not be a thing until the servers are up and running with a strong police system first. As we do not want 10 K9 officers and 2 officers on duty, with 9 dogs running around. And helicopters will probably not be needed at the start. As well as this the developers need to focus on the original police system and the SWAT module before they do anything else. Other Points: There might be different skins for different parts of the map, but this is also unlikely as the whole map will probably just be one police force. Read Below Warning: Motown has now confirmed that they will be looking into K9 someday, but aircraft will not be a thing, even for the police. This is a quote from Motown below: "We'd like to do a K9 unit someday, but for now when or if we ever add animals that can follow the player outside in the open world rather than just apartments/houses. There also will not be any aircraft in Identity, even for police." Motown has also said below the following: "There will be SWAT and detective divisions for the police force, with a limited number of consecutive spots. If Too many SWAT or detectives, or not enough regular cops are online, then the slots are limited" 6. What will the maximum sentence time be? Answer: The maximum sentence time has "For now" been confirmed to be 45 minutes. Although due to them stating it's only, for now, this may change in the future. Other points: Confirmed by a developer, also obviously not every single sentence will be 45 minutes long. It depends on the time. 7. Can an off-duty officer help out another on-duty officer? Answer: A moderator states that there is no way to help unless other officers are in uniform. (On both public and private servers) Other points: A developer also stated that they want there to be a very clear difference between civilians and officers. By Scotty THIS WILL BE UPDATED BELOW!!!!

1 pointAdding an motocross, atv, and side by side track would opend up great career opportunities. Such as, flag men to indicate when a rider has crashed and other riders too beware, farmers could also get paid to come and plow and water the track, buisness owners could buy tracks that farmers can build so the buisness ownere can get money from all the race admission fees, riders can get sponsered by buisness owners to buy better gear or better bikes so thwy can go pro and the sponser would get there buissnes name out there. Not only would this allow more career opportunities but it would also allow a place for riders of everyone that owns a machine to hangout and load up their bikes and pack a cooler to keep there stanima up while riding..please consider this option for the game to extend to. Thank you

1 pointPeople like him really need to just leave the forums. Every single one of his posts are complaints.
-
1 pointMake a post on the support section of the forums. Nobody is forcing you to look at any of this, and is seems like all you want to do is waste your time complaining about the lack of gameplay released. Everybody knows that the devs intend to surprise us with the gameplay, and some dickhead who wants people to feel sorry for him because he preordered a game(THAT HE CAN RETURN) isn't going to change their philosophy about it. PLEASE GET OFF THE FORUMS IF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO BITCH. Also, after looking at your profile, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR POSTS IS JUST COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS GAME. For real bro, just get off the forums.

1 pointI wasn't correcting you specifically, I was letting you that there is only 3 Modules for future reference and so you are more certain when answering such a question.
-
1 point1 out of 3 of them. Town Square, S.W.A.T. Module and the Racing Module, then the Beta.

1 pointWhether you can or not will depend on protocol and I bet there'll at least be a generic animation for this frisk.

1 pointi dont think its a flop-scum,they are hard working for the game to make it happen and make their and our dream come true!
-
1 pointIf you were to make a checkpoint, you would need to take the objects/ barriers out of your car likely e.g. cones, and signs etc.
-
1 pointHey @Richge, your rewards will be available accross all stages of the game (modules, beta and final game of course). Be aware that not all rewards will be included in the modules for example (because they are not ready or don't fit in the module. A rusted car for example will not be available in town square module but maybe later in the racing module) But you will get all rewards in the final game.

1 pointThat's very kind! I'm sure you won't be of the lowest...Lucious has great respect for you!

1 pointYea same. It seems Identity didn't update their security certificate or their being attacked. According to google saying this "This server could not prove that it is www.identityrpg.com; its security certificate expired 130 days ago. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection. Your computer's clock is currently set to Saturday, July 15, 2017. Does that look right? If not, you should correct your system's clock and then refresh this page."

1 pointThis guy actually speaks truth to be honest as far as we know they could just be fans of the arma life mods Who thought they could make a game and just 3D rendered scenes after spending a day or two learning how to do it as far as we know they just used in game assets that was already available to them For people who have made almost 700k in funding and haven't recruited anyone and its still a small team and there doing whatever they want and doesn't sound like someone looking to run game development and setting up for the future of there game and hireing people like all the kick starter people are doing instead there doing nothing but keeping the money and playing games together.. We wont know until the actual game play module comes out way after town square to find out if they actually know how to script and do shit and not just self thought the basics and watched youtube videos there are plently of videos on youtube of people doing beautiful looking scenes inside a house if you think for half a second thats what the game gonna be like then think again rendering everything and everyone client side and server side on a box open map at that detail would be impossible.. you'd think if unreal was able to make scenes so beautiful and highly detailed by people messing around why dont all the AAA games companys who have 1000s of devs with skill why don't there games look like it ? because its not realistic when actually making a game it doesn't work its nice for a little rendered scene and maybe one day games willl look like this but not today not now.. the people at police 10 13 started doing the same thing they are only showing a bunch of 3D rendered models gave a half ass lame excuse to why there not going to show there tech demo anymore ( saying investors already invested so there no point showing it) then increased there funding goal from 100k to 200k without showing any evidence of actual game play or the game tech i myself was waiting to see the tech demo to find out if its going to be any good or is it going play like that enforcer game (on steam) and look like garry mod life in visuals and gameplay to be honest i don't think any of the teams police 10 13 or identity have anyone who has actually done a course or college or whatever or have any experience in making a game for all we know its just fans of life mods who got the idea that its easy to make a game and look we place objects and render shit in a 3D scene this is easy mode and ask for funding i dont think neither of the games will be as good as people think, for example look at emergancyNYC they did the same thing they renderd a scene that looked decent enough back in 2013 and said this is game play now go look on steam and tell me does it really look like this ? and how far back have they gone.. almost 4 years latter and they had nothing but started all over again but when you look at the video in 2013 you'd think wtf happen right ? this is why i dont trust people unless i know they have experience in game development look what happen to stomping land a bunch of people thought they could make a game and in the end they ran and took everything so dont get ya hopes up to me This team looks like a bunch of friends who thought they could make a game and learned the basic in unreal im hopeing they prove me wrong in time.. making 3D models and showing a view pictures doesn't tell us anything until we see something that wont come out for probably another 2 years im not gonna spend a cent didnt they say the town module was almost done they where just finishing it up ? you'd think it would be done by now or they would be working on it hard to release it but weeks latter still nothing just chilling playing video games and drinking cool aid lol

1 point5 and 9 aside, you can do all those things! As for #10, I know Motown plans on being homeless. Given that he works on Identity for free, I think he's just planning for his real future.

1 pointGuys, when will the module be released? Is there any forecast? I'm getting crazy with anxiety. Argh

1 pointHello guys, Basically in the identity overview it shows a jewellery store, i have asked many people but they do not know themselves, well i am sure no one really does tbh. What i am asking is do you think / know there will be jewellery stores available to you to do as a job? Like buy a store and sell it as a jewellery store. Also i was thinking if this was to happen it would not really be profitable or what do you guys think? Like selling watches etc.. and selling your girlfriends Pandoras, a great birthday present

1 pointDepending on how they do death, I think having children would be really cool, but instead of them being NPC, what if they're real players? Say I get married and want to have a kid. What if me and my partner fill out a form or click a button that says we're "trying to conceive or adopt". This could then trigger an option for people who want to create a new character to be adopted or conceived. 50/50 chance for either and there'll be random side effects with either. You don't get to choose which family you end up with so it could be a homeless couple or a cartel boss or whatever. If the parents die in the game, they can decide to leave their assets to the child or teen. I can see there being many perks to starting off as a teen in this game. Even though there'd be some constraints like going to school and not being able to get into a bar without a fake ID, skill growth would be allowed.

1 pointFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) 1. How are Kickstarter backers different from website backers? There is only one difference between backer rewards for the Kickstarter and website. Kickstarter backers will receive a unique in-game hat with the Kickstarter logo. Website backers receive a hat with the Identity logo. No new content in the future will ever display either of these logos. 2. Many people are confused on what the game is about. Would you mind telling us what your vision for the game is? Is the game more about Cops vs Robbers, or a balance between all the available paths? Identity is a cops and robbers game at heart, but it is a life simulator in so many other ways. We’re catering to role-play in a way that is possibly the first of its kind. Players have the freedom to pursue careers that will impact the player economy in their own unique way. Become a taxi driver, deliver goods to player-owned businesses, fight fires, save lives, argue a case in criminal court, or just hold out your hand and beg for money. Find, or steal your ‘identity’! 3. What can you tell us about the world? World size? Player limit? We anticipate that the playable world size will be 200 square kilometers, or 77 square miles in comparison. This means that the whole map is 14 km wide, and would take about an hour and a half to walk across. We hope to support up to 300 players (or more!) per server. 4. Can you expand on the professions? We know there will be cops, but what types of jobs will be available for civilians? Will they be able to create their own businesses? Create their own items? etc. Also, Medics and Firefighters? Players can choose from a wide range of professions, including the ability to become a Firefighter, EMT, Taxi Driver, Farmer, Bounty Hunter, Fisherman, Logger, Miner, Delivery Driver and even a business entrepreneur. The options available to you as a player get more specific than this even, but we aren’t yet ready to expand on the full list. The direction of development is prone to change, and we don’t want to promise anything that might change down the pipeline. Business ownership allows players to own factories and small business, giving them control over what items are manufactured and sold. Items created by a factory must be delivered to their destination city where store owners in that area can decide what quantity and type (formal wear, casual, punk outfits, weapons, etc.) they wish to list in their business. Some default items are always available in all stores for when market demand is not met. 5. How will death be handled? When a player dies, some items such as the money the player is carrying at that time, will be dropped on the ground and will become accessible to anyone in the area that wishes to take it. Clothing items will never be dropped. We have decided that a player’s character appearance in a social game like Identity is important. You will always look the way you decide your character to look. If the player is not resusitated by an EMT or teammate, the player is then prompted to respawn at the location of their last sync (house, apartment, city) Private servers have some control over what types of items players will drop on death, if any at all. 6. Can you expand on how the housing system will work? Size and availability of apartments and houses? Players can choose to own or rent housing in Identity, while apartments can also be shared with a friend or roommate depending on the size of the property. For instance, two friends, or a married couple can choose to purchase a 2 bedroom apartment where they both can live comfortably with each other. Apartments and houses are fully customizable, allowing players to place furniture and objects anywhere in the room. Home-owners can invite other players into their apartment or house at any time. Players cannot access another players home without an invitation. 7. Will there be any specific safe areas where people can go AFK or sit and socialize without being killed or robbed? There are safe zones within certain types of buildings in Identity. Metal detectors serve to preserve immersion, and will temporarily remove any weapons upon entry, allowing all players in the area to safely relax, socialize and meet new friends. These safe zones are known to us as “Sub-Hubs” or social gathering points that reflect on the lifestyle theme of their environment (Biker Bar, Business club, Bum alley, etc.). While many of these areas can only be accessed by law-abiding citizens, some Sub-Hubs are neutral and can be entered by any player on the map. Few areas are designated gathering points for active criminals looking for the right crime of opportunity, or new friends to help them plan their next heist. 8. How will player identification work in game? Will names appear above players heads? If so, at what distances will they be seen? As our design stands right now, the official servers do display names over heads within certain ranges. Some things like masks and balaclavas can affect this. Moreover, private servers have an option where they can hide names from all players unless greeted. By this I mean you won’t see the name over another player until they perform an emote action, after which you’ll always see their name.
