You see Thomas, everyone thinking about being Governor can give good tax plans and healthcare policies. However, very few are capable of doing what I am doing. I am building what you could call a team of the elite businesses, police officers, doctors, military, and mobs. All in alliance together with one thing in common...me as their leader. I'm working with about 40 guys right now on a project called The Royal Guard, a small group inside our overall team The Royal Family.

Hey fellow Law Enforcers With this topic I'd like to inform and assist you in understanding and creating a police department. It's important that departments are organised and have a structure to ensure officers are appointed to tasks and supervisors ensure tasks are completed. While rank structure is an important part of your department, it's also important to have a good divisional structure. Hopefully at the end of the text you're a bit wiser on how a police department works. We'll start of with Police Ranks. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hierarchy Staff Officers Chief Of Police - In charge of the department and handles public relations with other departments aswell as controls internal procedures and protocolsDeputy Assistant Chief Of Police - In charge of the department when the Chief of Police is on absence Deputy Chief of Police - In charge of a large part of the department, known as an Office. Example: Office of Operations or Office of Counter Terrorism Command Officers Commander - In charge of a training within the department. Example: Sergeant In Training or Detective In Training Captain - In charge of a precinct or leads all patrols within a certain area and acts as a supervisor to supervisors. Lieutenant - In charge of a larger division and serves as city wide/ patrol wide supervisor. Supervisor Sergeant - In charge of smaller divisions or head of certain aspects within divisions. Alse the first contact point for basic officers Senior Lead Officer - A non commissioned officer who is in training to become either a supervisor or detective.. Investigator Detective In Charge - In charge of a investigation division and will handle day to day requests from lower ranked Detectives. Also in charge of casefiles. Detective - Basic detective who investigates crimes after they happened and observes organised crimes Senior Lead Officer - A non commissioned officer who is in training to become either a supervisor or detective. Non Commissioned Officers Police Officer III - Patrol officer who teaches the new officers the way around the department. Police Officer II - Basic Patrol officer who makes up most of the department. Police Officer I - Newly inducted Police Officers who are in their probationary stage and learn the way of the department. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hierarcy With the previous mentioned hierarcy the base of your department should be filled. However it is always possible to adjust the ranks towards the need of your department. For example you can create a Senior Sergeant who would be a basic sergeant, but in training to become a Lieutenant. Another example is a Lieutenant I and Lieutenant II. Where the I would ensure larger divisions are kept under control the Lieutenant II would handle a precinct or multiple patrols. Ranks also work hand in had with your organisation. For example if you have 7 divisions it might be wise to have 7 lieutenants or a few lieutenants of the bigger divisions and sergeants of the smaller divisions. It's important to know your department, because some divisions will require more intense handeling than others. Warrants and searches require more knowledge of the penal code and law than a traffic division. For that reason it's better to have a Lieutenant handle the Investigation divisions and a Sergeant the Traffic Division. The higher the rank the more legal and situational knowledge a person must have. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Organization Chart _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Organization Know your department and its needs! It's very important to ensure your department has a wide arrangement of divisions people can join so their day to day tasks are never the same and never boring. A good structure is most needed in the department and every part of it has a person controlling it. Divisions by Sergeants, Large divisions by Lieutenants, Precincts by Captains, Offices by Deputy Chiefs and at the top the Chief of Police. The way a good structure works if that a basic officer will not have to complain to the Chief of Police. If he has a problem he should go to his appointed sergeant. If he can not solve it, the sergeant goes to his superior and so on. Because there are limited amounts of divisions in an Office there will be a good overview of them all. It's important that the division leader reports to the Office leader and the Office leader to the Chief of Police. Ensure to give your Deputy Chief of Police enough power to change his Office by only having to inform the Chief of Police with the changes. This way there is more control and better support for every division and they will know who too contact when there is a problem. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ GENERAL NOTICE: If you have comments or have questions about a certain aspect within the police department, you can always ask it here. Hi everyone, just tossing my hat into the introductions area. I have a seriously horribad sore throat and can't taste a damn thing flu happening. Not much to really say here in my medicinal haze, other than I look forward to enjoying this game and all it has to offer with everyone. At the time of this post, the town module is at 89% completion and I couldn't be more stoked to get into the game already! What drew me into the game is the encouragement to create and share with a larger community, as well as the dev's intent to grow the game over time. I've tried my hand at games that also offered this ideal, but it never really panned out and, sadly, the community has always fallen to the wayside or became distracted with the newest shiny game out there. Note: Please don't let us down, devs. Many of us are freaking dying out here and want a game that we can grow along with. Not saying you will, but it is more a plea for change in the era of trend where games are abandoned quickly after being placed out there for people to play. Am I jaded? A bit, sadly, and equally cranky from being stuck in bed with the flu. However, I really am looking forward to this game. It has quite a few similarities to games I've loved in the past, with qualities that I had wished were in those games. I am just wondering what languages / how diverse the community is. I came across this game today and was instantly impressed. I instantly wanted to pledge, and I did. I am very excited for when this game gets released and I can delve into this! It usually takes a couple days of researching before I normally decide to pledge on a game but, I was extremely impressed on this one. I have been watching videos and reading the forums pretty much all day. Keep up the fantastic work!

We have received a lot of information about the game, through QnA's, forum questions, twitter questions etc. so it has made it possible to create companies before launch. Now for prices, those are supposed to give you an idea about the value of their goods, they aren't necessarily permanent.

Maybe not make a structure but instead a furniture that you can model by yourself and sell them

Don't forget that "Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced to be released this year but has been further delayed till like March next year and how long has that game been in development?

Pfft. Come on, you're level 45. You should know better than to label your level as an age. Level 34, myself. And I think it'll be great for everyone of all ages and walks of life to participate in this game. Not only will it bring a few generations together into one game community, it'll open doors for communication that are rarely possible in other games. Example: I like that we'll all be able to share and create content with one another, for one another, etc. On the flip-side, let's hope to Cthulu that the game isn't overrun with trolls and becomes an Arma-like environment that isn't fun for anyone, given how there will indeed be different age groups in the game. Eager to see how all of this plays out!

Games always get pushed. If we want the perfect product then we're just going to have to wait. Games usually take years to make. For example, it takes more than five years for a GTA game to be developed and people somehow wait through that. We just have to treat this wait time with respect and be patient.

The only thing anyone ever gives for an answer is, "delay" "cant rush" " things take time" i dont think we ever will know whats causing them to be so many months behind, but just hope they finish soon before people lose interest. i honestly wish they communicated a lot more to the community about these things and progress and such.

I think Leslie will have AI roaming his world because that is how he had done it for GTA but it doesn't mean he might not have them roaming. There is no source other than to myself being my opinion and so could be true or not be true.

@GrandPaladin If you give up on the project of Identity then you are going to miss out on it. I know delays, more delays and more delays happen but at the end of the day delays are inevitable and also about your comment on the devs being lazy because they have only 6 dev blogs, well you seem to be inconsiderate to how hard they are working to make it best / most polished game. They work hard and if anyone wants this game more than us is the devs themselves. Their passion is to build their dream game, and this game is it for them. They had 6 team members at first and that was 2 Full time devs and 4 contractors who also work on other projects during the week to when it was just them. They now have made that team to 5 Full time devs and 4 contractors while also looking to double their current numbers to have a 20 man Team. If you look at the negatives then you will give up faster on the project than if you look only at the positives. My advice is forget the delays and wait for the game which you want soo much. @WhtGhstBlckGhst Just so you know Leslie Benzies will likely have AI roaming the world which takes most of the good things away from his game. You cannot interact with all people roaming because you will likely try speak to a NPC and be fooled yet and not immersed. That game will be more GTA like than what Identity will be and also there is no harm in competition for Identity.

I'm aware of who Motown is, and that is your opinion as to how worthy his opinion is! To me, his opinion is valuable!
