3 pointsSunday May 14, 2017 Turtle beach, 12 Porto trail 3:45pm The front porch of an older looking cottage creeks open, Rocco walks slowly out from the front door. He strikes back the bottom of the robe he is wearing *there is his initials stitched on the back of the white robe, in gold it says "R.D"* he lets his hairy legs catch a breeze as he makes his way to the front dock of his cottage. Before crossing the dirt road to the dock he noticed that the mail box is slightly crooked. Rocco: "FUCK, some stronzo must have not seen the box and struck it, ahhh I don't got time to fix this shit any more". Rocco, finally he crosses the street to reach the end of the dock. He pulls out a pack of cigarettes, a special kind from Italy, imported. He strikes a king sized match, he hovers the match slightly under the cigarette. He takes a long inhale and than a long exhale. He than slowly sits on the dock, eases back on the old caffe style chair he has on the dock. Rocco takes in a scan of the area. Unaware of the fake bush 500m west from his cottage where the sun was going down, a long black barrel peaks slightly out of it. A slim familiar face hid behind the glare of the scope. The youthful hand pulls back the bolt of his custom made L87, he plants the clip of of specialized ammo in the rifle. The mysterious figure than pushes in the bolt to load one round. His finger lays easy on the trigger. One deep breath. He stops. As he sees a young lady come out the front of the cottage, he scans her, than he focus is back on Rocco. Cathrine her name was, a "friend" of Rocco's, she made her way to the dock and was gently rubbing Rocco's shoulders as he took his last puff from a cigarette. All this was being carfuly observed by the hidden killer in the bushes. And with one slight squeeze of the trigger a bullet cracks out the barrel tunneling into Rocco's upper left shoulder. Unknown killer: *makes a call from a untraceable cell phone* " it is done" said in an Italian American accent. The mysterious figure chucks the phone into a muddy puddle, while he swiftly runs away. Heavy rain starts to kick in as the sun is still out, the sound of birds hustle in the sky. As it appears Rocco lays motionless almost breathless on dock spralled out with his arms and legs wide open as blood pours out of the large wound that just missed his heart. Cathrine stumbled upon her knees in panic and shock starts to slowly weep. She gets up and bolts inside for the phone to call for an ambulance and frank Luprano. Rocco: *thinking to himself* could this be it, the end, I can't even tell where the bullet hit me, all I know it that I don't have much time to get to a hospital, if it's my time where I go.. I go, and that's that. The cold rain,I feel it. It feels numbing every time a drop hits my wound. The sharp pain finally hit me as I hear an amubulnace coming from.. far away. Sound and light is starting to fade away... this is it isn't it. A call comes through to frank Lupranos private quarters. Frank: picks up the phone. In shock and rage he hops in his old style Cadillac and speeds on over to Porto trail..

2 pointsNo, the "Town Square" won't be 1/3 or even close to that much of the map, it will only be a "Town Square" which is a part of 1 of the 3 cities named ash hill. You will see likely the full map at beta next year.

2 pointsIdentity's development has been moving at a pace we've never experienced in the past. With added full-time programming and art talent, we've been able to produce more content in a shorter time than expected. With all of the base features of Town Square in place, we've now been building up the supporting systems; the menu interfaces, server selection systems, character creation and more are well underway now. You'll get a good preview of the character customization soon! Ridable bicycle; work in progress Some exciting progress is also being seen beyond the Town Square! Our vehicle systems are starting to get fleshed out. We found the integrated Unreal Engine vehicle subsystems to be inadequate for the realism and fidelity we seek, so Identity will run on an entirely rebuilt vehicle physics engine. With this you can expect extremely realistic handling of bicycles, cars, vans, motorcycles, semi-trucks and more. We've got the Twitch Game development is an exciting career that many gamers aspire for. Just a couple of weeks ago we had test run streaming our development live on Twitch. In our first stream, our character artist Miroslav added different eyebrow varieties to Identity character head models. These are some of the eyebrow options you'll be able to choose when creating your characters; get an inside look at the work which goes into even a small detail as this. While the task Miroslav had at the time might not have been the most exciting, we're in the process of setting up a schedule for very regular streams from a variety of development departments. Keep an eye on Twitter and Facebook for stream time announcements. Click the preview below to watch the recorded stream. It runs at just under an hour in duration. Identity's first Dev Stream: Miroslav's Eyebrows You can find our Twitch channel at Twitch.tv/IdentityRPG. Follow us there to get notified when an Identity developer starts streaming! Path to the Town Square Town Square early revision; work in progress A lot of Town Square work has been accomplished since the last dev blog! From interface to animations and more feature polish, the Town Square is shaping up into a genuinely interesting social environment. We've been making everything we can in the environment interactive. If it looks like it would have some sort of purpose in reality, we're making it useful (or at least entertaining) in Identity, too! Grab a newspaper for the latest happenings, toss a coin into the fountain or grab a can of soda from the machine. Visual dynamics have been added as well. Simple things bring immersion to the environment. The clocks on buildings and towers show the real in-game time, the cinema marquee sign shows the movies playing with real times (which can be adjusted by owners of community servers in retail Identity) and more. We're making the Identity environment, and thus that in Town Square, feel alive and interactive. A hotel lobby at night -- John VanderZwet

1 pointHi guys! My name is Azka, I'm new to the community. For a long time I've been looking for a realistic/real-life game. The closest thing to it is Bethesda's Fallout series, the social interaction in that game is spectacular. I wish the best of luck to the developers. Can't wait to see you all in town square

1 pointLooking forward to wandering around aimlessly at first to take it all in! then socialize for a while to hopefully build up some friends to then go and explore the world we will live in

1 point(( Continuation from This. )) Zoey gets awoken by an officer knocking on her office door. She was sleeping on the couch, using her jacket as a blanket. She'd stay up, and walk over to her office door, and open it. The bright light in the hallway temporarily blinding her, as she also turned on the lights in her office. She'd look up, and over at the young, well dressed Officer standing in her doorway holding two cups of coffee. The young man, about Zoey's own age was smiling bright. I could clearly read his name tag, "Clive Johnson." Zoey's blonde hair was clearly a mess from sleeping so rough, but Johnson didn't care. And right now, Zoey didn't really care either, as she was still a half-asleep Zombie. With his bright smile, Johnson extends one of his coffee cups towards Zoey. And speaks up. Johnson: "Sorry, Special Agent Anderson, I didn't know what you liked, so I brought you a cappuccino." Zoey: "It's fine, thank you. Johnson. Just call me Zoey. Or Zoe." Johnson nods and smiles wide. Zoey offers a smile back, and grabs the cup of coffee. And she'd take a sip of the cup. After a few moments of silence, and Johnson awkwardly standing still and smiling at Zoey. As if waiting for something. An opportunity perhaps? Zoey takes another sip of her coffee, maintaining eye contact. Then eventually grows tiresome of Johnson's stare. Zoey: "Yes?" Johnson snaps back to reality, as if he was lost in thought. Johnson: "Oh, yes. Sorry. I have some more of those case files you've requested." And Johnson then holds out tiny stack of files. Zoey smiles, and grabs the stack of files. Zoey: "Thank you." Johnson: "May I ask what you need them for?" Zoey starts heading into her office, and puts down the case files on her desk, as she moves around to take a seat behind her desk. Meanwhile, Johnsons follows her in after having asked Zoey the question. He'd seem rather interested in what she was up to. Zoey: "You may..." However, before Zoey could finish her sentence, the radio on the young officer crackles to life as a call can be heard from dispatch. Dispatch over the radio: "Calling all units, gunshot at Turtle beach, 12 Porto trail. Request immediate assistance. One civilian down." Just before Johnson managed to take a seat in front of Zoey's desk, he looks up at her, and excuses himself, as he rushes out into the hallway, to the others officers all preparing to head out. Zoey decides to follow, and picks up her gun from the small table next to the couch, and her jacket. And heads out of the police station to her old rusty car. And follows the police down to the crime scene. She'd park a block away, and walk down to the scene. Other officers have already arrived, and taped off the Area. She is greeted by another officer guarding the tape. She'd show him her FBI badge, and he lifts up the tape for Zoey. Zoey walks up to the center of the crime scene, and notices the blood on the furniture. And she'd look around. She sees Rocco being taken away by paramedics, she sees the frightened girl, who called the ambulance being questioned by a detective. Zoey looks around a bit more. Trying to piece the puzzle together. She overheard the woman on her way in, saying no one else was around. And it sounded like a very loud shot. So the attacker most likely used range. Being at the docks, there are plenty of positions one could hide for long range. But not very many hidden positions. She'd notice a bush 500m west that seemed a bit out of place. And so, she'd decide to head over there and take a closer look. Upon closer inspection, it would appear hollow, and one of the blades having some black residue on them. Most likely gun powder. She'd notice one more thing as she leaned in even closer, something shining in the sun light on the ground. She picks it up with a tiny stick she found laying around. Being careful not to ruin any potential finger prints. Just as she did, the lead investigator noticed Zoey, and approaches her while shouting out. Lead detective: "Hey, you! Who are you? What do you think you are doing here?! This is a crime scene!" Zoey doesn't respond to him right away, and instead waves over a CSU technician, who bags and tags the bullet for her, before finally responding to the Lead Detective, flipping out her FBI badge. Zoey: "Special Agent Zoey Anderson, and I just found your attacker's bullet." The Lead Detective quickly changes his tone, not exactly sure what to make of it. Lead Detective: "Oh... Uhh.. Thank you." He scratches the back of his head a bit. Lead Detective: "You're not here to take of my case are you?" Zoey: "Haha... No... I'm not. Don't worry. I'm just here to help. What can you tell me happened here?" Lead Detective: "Well, we're not entirely sure. The victims name is Rocco, a local around here. Unfortunately, we don't know if he's going to make it yet. The young woman's name is Cathrine, she didn't see anything at all. And doesn't know why anyone would shoot Rocco. As far as she could tell us, he's an outstanding citizen with no enemies." Zoey looks around for a moment as the detective talks, she'd then notice the small pond with water. And something seeming a bit off. She'd bow down, and reaches a hand into the muddy pool. The detectives looks at her a bit strange, no clue what she's doing. Eventually, she fishes up a completely soaked phone. She'd look up to the CSU Technician who approach with another bag. And she'd hand him the phone. Zoey: "Let me know if you manage to find anything on this, alright?" The technician nods and says: "Yes ma'am.", and walks away. Lead Detective: "H..How'd you do that?" Zoey: "Do what?" Lead Detective: "Know where to look." Zoey: "Ohh... Simpe really, our brains are amazing at pattern recognition. It's just something they teach us at the Academy to look for, and recognize patterns. I'll see you around, Detective." Zoey walks off, leaving the detective. He'd seem to stand still for a few moments, trying to see if he notices any other patterns. Clearly not sure what he's doing. Zoey walks back to her car, and on the way, picks up a news paper. And start reading it a bit in her car. Nor driving anywhere right now. As she looks up and to the side, she'd see an old style Cadillac riding past her, slowly. As if the driver was inspecting the crime scene. She'd write down the license plate with a pen in the paper she was reading, and leaves the paper in the passenger seat. As she then starts the car, and follows the Cadillac. (( Hope you don't mind @Rocco. I tried to keep it open ended. And work of what information you had already established. ))

1 pointHow rare and greatly unique! This is the first time in Identity history a citizen has proposed a relationship with another citizen! May this day, May 13th 2017 be marked in Identity history... @Motown this is recognizable, please be obliged to commend this! @Kaitlyn dear, I'm am very old in real life as is my role playing character and I always have loved seeing a nice young lady meet a man worth her time. You're a great woman, so please hear Lucious out and test these new waters he proposes.
-
1 pointThat's odd, my party is so far from communist, but I mean it's alright I'm glad Thomas has the continous support from you. It's kind of you and it does good for him!
-
1 pointYou're very wise, very aware of what needs to be done! You understand how to approach people...and all around I just love your personality! I'd like to get to know you more, on more of a personal RP level. I'd like to get to know the real Kaitlyn and I'd like for you to get to know the real Lucious Times. If you'll allow me the honor, I'd be more than happy to RP dating you right over this here topic in front of everyone. You'll of course be free to ask anything about me (Lucious) and I hope you'll allow me to do the same vise versa. It's rare in America to see a political leader without a strong wise partner at their side and I'd like to follow that. If I am being too forward please be direct in telling me so, but if you are okay with what I ask you would make me very happy!
-
1 pointSorry, real life emergencies came up this weekend so I haven't had time to develop anything this week. My schedule is very unpredictable, unfortunately. @LuciousTimes what is your new proposal?

1 pointYour specs are for browsing the internet pretty much, definitely not intended for gaming. You can buy it but you will almost certainly lag even on the lowest settings. It's ultimately up to you if you want to purchase it or not.
-
1 pointI'll be sure to make a business named "Cex" and sell second hands items and games in Identity.

1 pointI think you have a good point but if you think about it: Let's say you want a house and it's to expansive. You could go out and pay a few hooligans to create trouble in that area and completely dominate a marked witch would be an extremely deep roleplay. I hope this gets implemented. BTW yes it is shit for the people that live there but that's how live goes. If you give the players nothing to worry about it will get boring. Think about a player with 2000 hours playtime. He has so much money he has nothing more to do. This would create a way to get money out of peoples pockets back into the economy. -NOE

1 pointDATE POSTED: March 24th, 2017 Big changes for a bigger world! What a crazy time for the Identity development team over here at Asylum! We've been running all over the place for conferences and expos this month, including both GDC and PAX East, where we met all sorts of new talent and potential technology partners. We've unfortunately had to push back the release of the Town Square module from our original Q1 2017 release with all of the big developments here, but most systems are in place and it's not far off! The biggest and most exciting news we're officially announcing today is a new partnership with Improbable, the creators of SpatialOS! The Identity team has been testing the waters with SpatialOS for a couple of months now and we're incredibly excited about what it's going to mean for Identity. Identity can now be what we all hoped it would be, a true MMORPG in scale. SpatialOS is going to power Identity behind the scenes, allowing absolutely enormous scale for our world and the people playing in it. While we had originally hoped to be able to get 300 people into our servers with decent performance, with just a tiny bit more effort we're going to be able to expand that as far as the game needs. Instead of 300 players in a single server, we could now potentially have thousands. The size of our servers are now going to be set based on what we feel is ideal for a fun and immersive environment and we're not limited technically like we were expecting in the past. It opens more doors than simply the number of players on a server, too. With these changes we can now afford to have a more dynamic and interactive world. We've gained some freedom in manipulating the world and we can create features which we never imagined possible in a game of Identity's scale. This is all extremely exciting for the team. This technology is a scope-changer and Identity is going to be far better for it. Not only will our world grow, not only will the population be denser, but you'll even be able to leave your mark in many new ways. Development charging forward Concept art for Town Square art gallery and library, featuring player content We're working and expanding at an incredible rate. All key gameplay features for Town Square are now functional as we add polish and work to support SpatialOS in Identity. The development team has expanded with terrific new talent: Antoine joins Identity's 3D art team, Cody comes on board as a new systems and gameplay programmer and Liam comes in as our first dedicated web developer. Antoine and Cody both bring experience in their field to hasten development for Town Square and Identity as a whole. Liam's talents mean exciting new features on our website will be popping up soon. We've had plenty planned for our website for some time but haven't had the resources to bring these to you, until now.
