For in-game designs on clothing, how can we prevent other companies from copying us? Is there a way through the legal system to trademark certain logos/brand names? Also, as a company can you sue another company? Also, as a individual, can you sue another individual/group?

simple idea if a certain area lets say turtle beach has a lot of crime in a 24 hour in game period like 3 murders, 2 police chases, 4 cars get stolen property values would be affected causing cops that live there to protect they're areas more and really change up how real estate markets could work, like hiring people to cause violence in a neighborhood so they can buy a house cheaper.

So, since there are a lot of people in this forum that likes cars and/or want to do car-stuff once the game is out, I though in this idea: post pictures and info of your car! I will start with mines. I'm from Spain and I own a performance workshop called Midnight Empire. This is my 1989 Nissan 200SX with CA18DET, my first car and the one I used to learn to drive. Used it for 2 years for daily. Don't mind the ride height, those where stock suspension, now I have adjustable suspension and the car is low af. I named it "Miku", since it's blue and I'm a very big fan of Hatsune Miku, one of the biggest representative icon of Japanese culture. Now Miku is sitting under construction in the workshop. The engine is being modified to Stage 3 with custom map, approx 300 HP. A 1993 Suzuki Swift GTI. Cheap, lightweight and fast. And I mean... really fast. This nugget has a 1.3 Twim Cam engine dropping 101 HP. Can rev up to 9000 and has torque in every single rpm (not like the Civics). I called it the "Madrid's White Comet" since the previous owner slap it a Red Suns sticker. Although this little poor car is just too small for me, I need a more powered car with RWD, so I'm planning on selling it and buying something like a Lexus IS200. Here comes the good stuff, the workshop. It's a little garage but enough to fit some cool cars in. We have just started in this business and we already have big reputation in the sector.

I believe if you want to say create furniture, then the materials are delivered to you from a supply hub. At that point you can create the furniture and deliver it to the supply hub or the customer. I may be wrong, or off on some of this information.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to the community and I figured I would introduce my self and say a few things about my self, so here it goes. So first off my name is st6sniper1a(You probably already know this) and I have around 5000 hours playing arma 3 life servers. I've played on Asylum Altis Life to Private servers like project life, life studios, and no pixel. I'm currently in collage studying robotics and manufacturing but also programming and computer science. I plan to be some sort of software developer when I graduate collage. I'm wondering how good they're going to have this game looking, and what different settings in graphics there will be. I'm hoping for a lot of customization because I have a 1080ti and 7700k.

The first module will be the "Town Square", meaning it will mainly focus on displaying ceratin features. It's release was estimated to be beginning 2017 to mid 2017. The percentage bar you see on the modules tab is manually increased and is only increased with major updates. Meaning it can spike from the current 89% to 98% at once. Of course before the game is completely done it will take some time. So expect the game to launch beginning 2018. -Arcanion

Sounds nice, however this would not effect prices extremely hard. Prices are made up from land size, property size, nearby malls and supermarkets, how close it is to nature and a few other factors. Also it is mainly crime in the span of years that effects pricing and not something that happened last week since it could just be random. However this does make sense, homes with a lot of crime bring more risk and are therefor cheaper. However if a group of players decide to terrorize a street for 1 week would it be fair for the home owners to then get their homes to be worth a lot less? Of course this means those owners might hire a PMC or security company. It has pro's and Con's.

Yeah exactly how I feel @ItsJedi. If you can only slap on parts instantly, it will be a huge let down. Cars are going to be a big deal in this game, so the mechanic job should be in depth instead of instantly fixing/installing parts. If it's like my summer car or car mechanic simulator, then players can have different prices and such. It really needs to be a pretty detailed job, or it's just a huge let down overall.

I would like if they added some sort of salt water place with whales and sharks that you can catch and bring to a store for some cash.

The game won't get cancelled and everyone is advised to wait before pledging if they have any doubts.

However long it is from now I cant wait lol, I hope the devs live up to what they say is going to be included in the module.

There is a youtuber who regularly puts up content about Identity. He has already hosted a Q&A for the developers so you can assume his information must be some what correct. Anyway, he said in a video recently that the developers are getting close to completing the town square itself, adding in some last minute props. If he was correct, then they would be adding finishing touches to other portions of the game. The game developers have been working on eye brow models recently, and seeming to not be so important, you could assume they're very close. I personally give it by the end of this month, maybe mid way through next month at the latest.

From interface to animations and more feature polish, the Town Square is shaping up into a genuinely interesting social environment. We've been making everything we can in the environment interactive. If it looks like it would have some sort of purpose in reality, we're making it useful (or at least entertaining) in Identity, too! Grab a newspaper for the latest happenings, toss a coin into the fountain or grab a can of soda from the machine. Visual dynamics have been added as well. Simple things bring immersion to the environment. The clocks on buildings and towers show the real in-game time, the cinema marquee sign shows the movies playing with real times (which can be adjusted by owners of community servers in retail Identity) and more. There are pictures of an old Muscle car that resembles an early 70's 'Cuda in a Garage, I think it's even in the first video about Identity!

It is important that the police treat the citizens with respect which I am 99.9% sure they will but the citizens must also respect the police force because they are the ones who stay up and do night shifts and day shifts and protect us so we can live happy fulfilled lives. I am also 99.9% sure that our wonderful citizens will treat the police with ultimate respect.

My platform for the island state starts with income tax 5% for people who make $30,000 a year or less. This is my belief because how will the people who make this much be able to put food on the table, pay property tax, utility bills, and other essential parts of life if we tax the hell out of them. This is the income tax rate board. $0- $30,00 = 1.5%tax rate $30,000- 40,000 =2.5% tax rate $40,000- $50,000 =3.5%tax rate $50,000- $70,000=4.5% tax rate $70,000- $100,000=5.5% tax rate $100,000- $200,000=8% tax rate $200,000- $300,000=10% tax rate $300,000- $500,000=12% tax rate $500,000- $1,000,000= 12.5% tax rate $1,000,000 < = 13.5% tax rate Businesses rate= 2% Weapon policies: I think that there should be no machine guns or military or S.W.A.T grade weapons out on the street. I think that to make this state safer that there shouldn't be assault rifles out on the streets. I think that there should be three categories of weapons out on the street. The first category will be under hunting. This category will have hunting rifles, pistols, and shotguns, scopes will be allowed but no silencers. The second category will be self defense which will include pistols and shotguns, you will be allowed to shoot before you call the police if someone is trying to kill you. Last category will be pleasure guns. These guns you will only be able to shoot at shooting ranges, and you must be trained to shoot them. Extensive background checks will be preformed to buy any of these weapons. You will also have a licence to shoot any of these weapons. That means no criminal record. Butterfly knives and switch blades will be illegal. The only ammo that will be allowed will be general ammo. Crimes: In a Thomas Hetch island(if there ever is one) there will be lower crime rates because I will encourage the officers, politicians, and other high ranked people to interact not only with their friends but the community so they know that we care about them. Drug Policies: Weed, tobacco, alcohol, and prescription drugs will be the only legal drugs. Jobs and min wage: I think that the minimum wage should be $15 an hour. Don't fire people if they make one little mistake business owners. Minimum layoffs would be great. Oil drilling: I support oil drilling as long as it is done in the correct matter. We can't have marine life dying. Voting: I don't have any stance on people with criminal records voting. That means I don't care. I care about what the people say and that is what will be done. I think that though that everyone should be able to vote. Death Penalty: I think for really bad crimes people should get the death penalty. bad crime include murder and terrorism only Healthcare: I think together we can make a affordable healthcare system that will benefit everyone upper, middle, and lower class all together. I will help doctors make a decent pay check. There will be three classes of care. Basic, Premium, and Business. All include doctor checkups for when you are sick and annually on birthdays. Basic: Up to $1.5 million in medical coverage. Medicine bills coverage up to $250,000. Lower class rate: $100/mo Mid class rate: $200/mo Upper class rate: $300/mo Premium: Up to $2.5 million in medical coverage. Medicine bills coverage up to $500,000. Lower class rate: $200/mo Mid class rate: $400/mo Upper class rate: $500/mo Business: Up to $2 million in medical coverage. Medicine bills coverage up to $300,000. Business rate: $250/mo employee for lower class $350/mo employee for mid class and $450/mo for upper class employee Corruption: This issue will be dealt with by making any law enforcement or office get punished when they do something wrong which can range from suspension all the way to jail time. There should be more government transparency to stop corruption and to prove that the government is not corrupt. Then we will set a budget guideline so the budget handlers wont just spent the money the government gives them on what ever the hell they want. Then we just need to keep a close eye on people who are suspected for corruption. Welfare: I will only give welfare for people who really need it. This will be a work for welfare system. If you need more money then the government will pay the person who needs welfare with income so they will get to a state where they wont need to use welfare anymore. That is all I have at the moment but if anyone out there has more I ideas just message me. And remember if you have the ability to help then you have the responsibility. What I mean in my slogan is that say a rich person has the money to spare to help people in need then they have the responsibility and should feel obliged to hep people in need. People won't be forced to pay up because that will be taking away their free will, but the idea will be strongly encouraged. If they do this they will be rewarded in their income tax by having 50% of what they donated to charity taken away. So if you wanted to pay no money to the government then you will have to pay double your original rate or you could evade and go to jail and have to pay quadruple you original rate, but hey it is helping the state. To get this straight I am not accusing rich people of doing this but I am sure some people will. But besides that the other stuff about charity is what I mean by " If You Have The Ability To Help Then You Have The Responsibility To Help" I have a Vice President that will run my business if I am elected to office because I need to put a full focus on to the island to make it the best we can Thank you, Thomas Hetch

Ich selbst habe schon jahrelange Erfahrung mit Reallife-Spielen und Roleplay und kenne ziemlich viele Leute, die womöglich den Server dann auch aktiv nutzen würde. Hey guys, I'm really happy about how excited you all are to see these screenshots of the Town Square. They're just meant to be a little something to show you guys how progress is going for that module! You might remember the first screenshot of this location that we published back in may, and will notice that the square has been completely rebuilt from that original version! Just keep in mind that this is a work in progress with much of the detail, props, decals, lighting and textures still remaining to be added to the scene. Old Square:

We've had a lot of questions about sex in Identity, and we don't really have many reservations against it, other than the possibility that Identity could be banned from sites like Twitch, Youtube, and potentially from Steam. Sex in Identity could add an intimate element to the game, but it just isn't worth the risk of losing exposure over this single feature.

I plan to roleplay sort of like myself, since that would be really easy. I would try to stay out of most crime activity as best as i can. Probably just try to find a good job that I would enjoy, hang out in social areas and... whatever else comes up.
