4 pointsI have known that the developers of this game stem off from the creation of the Altis Life mod for Arma. Until today I had never had any interest at looking into what Arma is. When I saw a YouTube video, I was immediately unimpressed. The map is bland and empty. The "forests" are made up of like 7 trees spread apart from each other. The towns are very small and spread out and the building don't reach higher than 2 stories anywhere. I understand that the Identity devs didn't create the Arma map, and so that's why I am hoping that they are going to do a better job at making the map feel fuller and vibrant with color and life. So far the cities look pretty dense and that's what I've always liked about the GTA V map, and I am happy so far with how Identity is doing that. In the trailer video, there was a clip with a white house in the middle of a forest, and I am hoping that the trees are going to be that tall and full and green. The clip with the rifle is also very nice because you can see that the trees block the sunlight from coming in except for the spots where there are breaks in the leaves. I am just hoping that Identity puts enough decoration and life into the map which is much more than I can say for plenty of other MMOs. Thanks for listening to this rant which ultimately serves no purpose. Have a nice day. Leave your thoughts below.

3 pointsIt will likely consist of First name and Surname. The "Game account/ store account" name is the username which you use to log into your account via the launcher but the character name will be the first and surname.

2 pointsThe game won't be abandoned but technically if they wanted to scam us, they would not give the refunds in the first place.... when the module comes out, I think there won't be a refund option but generally the devs have stated, if you don't feel that there is enough shown yet then don't pledge and wait till you have no doubts. Also if they keep going to refund people while they try work then they will just be making the development longer so people should wait before backing anyways if they have doubts and feel the need to refund if nothing comes... seriously was no good point to back to just then refund it.

1 pointDEV BLOG #001 Greetings Citizens, It has been just over a year since you helped successfully kick start Identity into existence! We want to thank you all for your continued support by providing you all with regular updates following the development process for Identity. Engaging with our community is one of the best ways we can show our thanks, and a development blog is a perfect opportunity for us to bring you along for the ride. As you’ve seen throughout the past year, there is no game out there that is quite like Identity, and through your support, you have proven to us that Identity is a vision worth turning into a reality! Feedback has shown us that you all really appreciate our attempts to respond to virtually every question we receive on social media. Twitter and Facebook have been a huge boost in exposure for Identity, and so it is time we begin to explore other avenues of exposure to help our community understand a bit more about the game. In the coming months, our fans will see their first glimpse of gameplay for Identity! We are all extremely excited to show off our first gameplay video, which will fully explore the mechanics of apartment and housing customization. With this video, you will see that we have stayed true to our original art direction from the original Kickstarter trailer, while maintaining high standards in realistic lighting and graphics. We can safely say that we have improved many of the areas of our design that needed attention since February last year. Apartment & Housing Customization Apartments and houses within Identity will have a fully customizable interior. You will be able to change the wall paper on every wall in every room, place furniture anywhere there is space on the ground, swap out doors, windows, baseboards, crown moulding, and even wainscoting! We have made no compromise to the level of detail in which you can customize your apartments or homes, in order to truly express your sense of home decor. With this level of control, there is virtually no chance that the interior of two homes will ever look alike. There will be hundreds of furniture items available to purchase in-game in every style and design, from traditional to contemporary. Furniture in Identity can even be crafted, sold, or traded to other players, and those who wish to try their hand at crafting hand-made furniture from a variety of materials can place a crafting table anywhere they wish inside their homes! And if you wish to share your space with a partner, friend, or even a group of friends, homes and apartments will be available for sale throughout the world that support multiple roommates depending the size of the space and how many bedrooms are available. The home-owner may even grant build permissions to any number of roommates, even visitors, to help them decorate their living space. When you are finished, invite your friends over to compliment you on your interior decorating skills! If you’re anything like us, we know you will spend more time cleaning up this virtual home than you do your real one! Radio This week, our team has also placed a lot of our development efforts into building a functioning radio system that will allow you to listen to your favorite real-world radio stations through placed radio objects inside your virtual home, or car! Yes, you can flip through the channels in your car radio, which will also broadcast to the immediate area outside your car. Imagine driving down the street and having everyone you pass know you listen to NSYNC! One other major part of this feature that we are excited to tell you about is player operated talk-shows which you can personally host, or tune-in and listen to, from your car radio or home. The way we currently have this planned out for hosts, is to have actual physical broadcast stations on the map that you can enter as a player and begin hosting your own radio talk-show. Player’s listening from their car or home can browse a list of channels currently being hosted at that very moment, and listen to you live, talking about government conspiracies and UFO’s! We are really hoping that this feature will have a major social impact for Identity. Like you, we see a lot of potential in something like this for budding stars within the community. We would absolutely love to see many of you sprout a career that started in a game we developed, and ended with us listening to your lovely voice on our actual car radio! The Town Square (Social Module) Many of you already know of, and are eagerly anticipating the release of the planned “Town Square” module that is currently still in production. While we can’t give you an exact date on when that will be ready, progress is steady, and we are as excited as you are to meet you all for the first time in a virtual environment. You may already be aware that Identity is largely influenced by a landmass in the south-eastern portion of the United States. The Town Square itself is only a small portion of a larger city built into the final version of Identity called Ash Hill, a reference to Asheville, North Carolina where we had originally planned to move Asylum’s office. We picked this area of the world particularly because it offered a wide range of geographical variance. The transition between Identity’s mix of biomes needed to feel natural, and this area offered most of what we had been looking for. As for the other cities in Identity, their influences may become more clear to you now. Myrtle Beach is obviously Turtle Beach in Identity, and Roseport is less subtle, but a mix between Atlanta and New York City. When we first started, we kept everything, including the structures and world props level to the ground, a mistake we have since corrected. We quickly realized that cities are rarely ever flat, and knew that setting that precedent now would benefit Identity in the future. The next time you see The Town Square module, we are confident that you will notice the difference compared to earlier screenshots, what such a small transformation makes for immersion in a game environment. Moving Forward We want to thank our community for being so patient with us. Over the course of the past year, we’ve seen many work-in-progress screenshots of assets destined for Identity, and while we believe they serve as a sample of the work we have already put into the game, we know that many of you are still anxious to see video. Our current priority is to get things ready to show off, or more specifically, the housing/apartment customization first. We are convinced that many of you will appreciate the time and effort we have put into this feature, so that you will be able to fully express yourself through your character and virtual home. We know we’ve been pretty quiet this past year, and the criticism we’ve heard from our fans on that through social media and the forums have not fallen on deaf ears! We will start to release regular updates through development blogs and continue to find new ways to interact with our community, to show you our gratitude for your support. You yourself can become more involved by contributing to the discussion with your ideas at www.identityrpg.com/community. We’ll see you there, and thank you again! Always remember that we are gamers too and we are as excited as you are to play Identity at launch!

We want to motivate our fighters to give their best effort at all times whether it's in the ring or training. To join you must train with a Trainer which can be found below along with other information. If you want to set up a fight with one of our fighters message the Team Leader or a Trainer on the forums or come into our gym so we can schedule a appropriate time for the fight. We also host events sometimes with a grand prize! If you are wondering why there is so few openings, it's because we need to focus on our fighters and having too big of a team can be pretty difficult. We want to be able to give everyone even attention and opportunities. If this team is manageable we will create more openings and jobs. After talking to us, we will call In-game or let you know on the forums or direct message if you got accepted into B.T.B. (most likely on how you contacted us.) Rules:No weapons, The fighter must only use their boxing gloves (or fists if there are no boxing gloves) to fight. No drug use such as weed, cocaine, heroine, steroids, etc. Use of these drugs will automatically disqualify the fighter. No bad sportsmanship, Fighters must not curse or insult the other fighter or this can result in a warning or a disqualification.Fighters must obey the referee at all times or they will receive a warning or disqualification.Fighters must not attack the referee or they will receive a warning but most likely a disqualification.Fighters must not attack the other fighter after the bell (or the end of the round or match) or it will end in a disqualification or the fighter will receive a warning. If a Fighter "floors" their opponent, they cannot hit them when they're on the canvas. If a fighter is absent when his fight is up, he has 1 minute to show up or it will be considered a no contest. If it is an event, the fighter that is missing his opponent will move on to the next fight.Fighters only have a 1 minute break between rounds, taking too long will result in a warning or disqualification. When a round is over, the fighters must return to their corner.(These rules only apply if there is mechanics in place for these.)If you score a knockdown on your opponent, you must go to the farthest neutral corner while the referee makes the count. The floored boxer has up to 10 seconds to get back up on his feet before losing the bout by knockout.A boxer who is knocked down cannot be saved by the bell in any round.Referee/Judges:Referee's and Judges will most likely just be hired to avoid cheating and/or favoritism. If we cannot hire one, we'll have somebody on our team and/or the other team to judge and/or referee to fill in the spots. The Referee will be in charge of enforcing the rules, stopping the fight if somebody is knocked out, or if nobody is knocked out the Referee will announce the final decision made by the judges at the end of a fight. Judging: Since there is no take downs, kicks and other stuff, The judges will keep track of whoever ever lands the most good punches, using good technique and blocking. If nobody is knocked out, the decision will be made by the judges. They will choose whoever they thought was the best fighter and be announced by the referee after he gets the final decision from the judges.Rounds and Time: There can be 3-5 rounds and each one will be 3-5 mins. It depends on who's fighting and what kind of fight it is.Amateur Fights: I match up one of my fighters with another fighter from another gym/club who are around the same skill level, unless there is nobody else to fight and they still want to fight but they risk a butt whooping and a loss on their record that I'll keep track of. A Amateur Fight will be 3 rounds and 3 minutes with 1 minute break between rounds for corner men to tend to their fighters.Professional Fights: This is when I match up my best fighters with the best fighters out there and put their skills to the test and put it on their pro record, no matter if it's win or loss. Possibly being a reward at the end A Professional Fight will be 5 rounds and 5 mins with a 1 minute break between rounds for corner men to tend to their fighters. Special Events: I might host special events and might have people pay for tickets to enter the fight and spectate it. We'll have people from multiple gyms and teams to compete for the grand prize while trying to improve their record while getting recognition. Each event will have at least 8, 12 or 16 fighters. It will be set up like this. All fighters that participated will get a shout out for their teams and a thank you at the end of the event. Match Up and Event Example:

1 pointExactly what the title says. What is your goal in Identity? My goal is to start off as a mugger/drug dealer and slowly build my money up until I can find a place to live, and then get a job in the transportation industry. After I make some good money I'll eventually quit the job, get some nice clothes, a decent house, a decent vehicle, etc. After that, I'll either join a Mafia, MC, or a Street Gang. From that point on I'll just try to work my way up to being a somewhat significantly high rank in the organization I'm in. I'll grind my money up and buy the things I've wanted and try to have as much fun as possible no matter how boring the circumstance is.

1 pointok cool I Think I will go for the Cutlass Black package, I did watch some video´s of it, Think it will fit me well for an all round gaming style. 1 pointNo, you will get them back as everything likely is going to reset from beta to full game and they are not the place where you will use them properly and it is more a testing ground.

1 pointJust curious. What's everyone doing while they wait for Identity to release? Personally, I've been working on my fitness. Jogging, squatting, push-ups, etc; So far I'd say it's going well. Occasionally I try to play on Life Studios or Project Life. I just find it hard to get in the right mood, especially when I don't know anyone around and I'm too much of an introverted loser to overcome my general anxiety and socialize with anyone. Maybe we can form like a gang? Not like an actual gang, but a group of hardcore role-players who might maybe get together on a ArmA 3 role-play server and show them how it's done? I mean, that's what I'd like to do and what better place than to reach out to an enthusiastic role-play community anxious to be a part of some serious shit. I mean, that's just me. What about you? Also is anyone interested in forming this "gang" per say?

1 pointSome of the money will be from our own pocket if we have to. This is pretty much exactly what I'm doing. So what I'm doing is called "The 50% rule" This method gives 50% of the prize money to the winner, $500. The second (betters) will then get 50% of the remaining money in the pool, $250. The semi finalists that are in 2nd and 3rd place, win $125 each. here's an example. So say we have a $100,000 grand prize, which is also part of the money pool. We got 'fighter A' and 'fighter B'. $50,000 is for the fighters and $50,000 is for the betters. Let's say the better bets 140$ on fighter A and the fighter wins. The better will profit $100 along with his original bet so that would make $240. The money pool would then decreased to $99,760. But if fighter A lost, the $100,000 dollars would be increased to $100,240. Now 50,120 would be for the fighter and 50,120 would be for the betters. Gambling will only be available for tournaments and professional boxing matches. The Max bet will be $540 for now but these things can change in the future. There will be 5 ways to bet. 1. Bet who's gonna win the match. So you bet on Fighter A or B. Example: If you bet $140 on a Fighter and win, you profit $100 = 240 If you bet $540 on a Fighter and win, you profit $500 = 1040 If you bet $260 on a Fighter and win, you profit $220 = 440 2. Bet how long you think the match is gonna last. So you bet if the match is going to last for 1,1.5,2,2.5 rounds etc. Example: If you bet $140 that the match will last til round 2.5 and if it does, you profit $120 = 260 If you bet $540 that the match will last til round 1.5 and if it does you profit $520 = 1060 If you bet $260 that the match will last til round 3 and if it does you profit $240 = 480 3. Predict how the match will be won. Fighter A will win by KO,TKO, or DQ. Fighter A will win after (#) of rounds Draw Fighter B will win by KO,TKO, or DQ. Fighter B will win after (#) of rounds. Example: If you bet $140 on how a fighter will win by KO and they do, you profit $120 = 260 If you bet $540 on how a fighter will win by TKO and they do, you profit $520 = 1060 If you bet $260 on how a fighter will win by DQ and they do, you profit $240 = 480 4. Predict the exact round the fighter will knock their opponent down. Example: If you bet $140 a fighter will take down their opponent down on round 1 and they do, you profit 120 = 160 If you bet $340 a fighter will take down their opponent down on round 3 and they do, you profit 320 = 640 If you bet $250 a fighter will take down their opponent down on round 3 and they do, you profit 230 = 460 5.Bet what fighter will last to the end of the whole match. You would simply say yes or no to what fighter you think will or will not make it to the end of the whole match. Example: If you bet $140 on a Fighter that he'll last to the end of the match and he does, you profit $100 = 240 If you bet $540 on a Fighter that he'll last to the end of the match and he does, you profit $500 = 1040 If you bet $260 on a Fighter that he'll last to the end of the match and he does, you profit $220 = 440

1 pointIn theory, the town square would most likely be the oldest part of the city. So it would make sense to have older, brick-heavy architecture in these areas. I'm sure that the entire map is not going to be run-down, per say. There will be 3 cities in total (I think I remember that correctly), and I'm sure there will be "newer", more modern areas to every part of the map. Also: I don't know why you seem to think that the map supposed to be in America. And I'd also like to point out that there are buildings similar to that of the Town Square in EVERY city in America. I don't understand what you mean by "British." I think the most American part of any town are the suburbs. But otherwise, I don't think the architecture of the Town Square is necessarily inspired by any city from a particular country, but just cities.

1 pointWe've had a lot of questions about sex in Identity, and we don't really have many reservations against it, other than the possibility that Identity could be banned from sites like Twitch, Youtube, and potentially from Steam. Sex in Identity could add an intimate element to the game, but it just isn't worth the risk of losing exposure over this single feature.

1 pointHello citizens! I'm Motown, and I'm Identity's Community Manager, the person in charge of delivering all of your important ideas and messages to Identity's development team! What's special about my role here is that I'm not just your eyes and ears, I'm also one-half of the founding team for Identity! John Vanderzwet and I set out together to make Identity a reality, and have been involved in every aspect of Identity's development since the very start. That means, through me (and our volunteer moderator staff), you have direct access to the very top of our family tree, and we can influence the design and development of Identity together! You won't get that sort of treatment from many industry CM's! So, If you have ideas that you feel will expand and define Identity for years to come, let me know, and I will make sure it hits the right ears. What a relief it has been to know that so many people have been waiting for a game like Identity for so long. I couldn't be happier to have the opportunity to be the liaison that will connect you with the world of Identity and the wonderful people who make it what it is! We strongly feel that we have a winning formula, and the deepest conviction that we may revolutionize the MMORPG genre with your support! We're going to do a lot of great things together, so it's only fair that you know a little bit about me first! My name is Sean, I'm 27 years old. My best friend is my boss and co-worker, John Vanderzet. I grew up all over the United States where I've developed the hyperactive, happy, and unbiased personality you will come to know me for! I call Ontario, Canada my temporary home while I work on Identity as your Community Manager, interim Art Director and 3D prop artist. I went to college for Video Game Design & Production, but my true passion is interacting with people! I've been a forum moderator for many large and well-known online gaming communities, including a default subreddit of 8 million subscribers on Reddit.com, a volunteer guide of the Followers of Asura in "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures", an event organizer in "Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa" (Big RG fan btw!), the only English forum moderator of a German FPS called "Parabellum" (Google Translate ftw!), and forum moderator for "Planetside 1", "GamersFirst", "Mortal Online", and a few others I can't even remember, for varying lengths of time! Yep, I get around! But now it's time I get to know a little bit about you too. Create a new topic in this forum, and introduce yourself! We want to know exactly what personalities come out of the the deep, dark, depths of the internet to share our passion for Identity! But be nice!
