3 pointsYes, you can cook your own food, or decide to go out for a bite to eat! You'll need to eat and drink every once in a while, because starvation/dehydration will negatively affect your character, but you won't/can't necessarily starve to death. If you look at this post by one of the devs, he goes into more depth about food and the hunger system! Hope this helped

1 pointWe at Asylum Entertainment are very excited to tell you, our community, how you will be able to get into the game sooner than you think! Identity's modules are small portions of Identity which will be released before Identity is ready for the world. This lets you experience part of the game months sooner than otherwise possible. The first module you'll be getting your hands on is a social environment which we've called Town Square. The Town Square will include all major social components, and will allow you to finally create and customize your characters. You can meet hundreds of new people and explore several cool features of the peaceful city life. For more details on Town Square, check out the modules page on the Identity website. Following the release of Town Square you'll experience SWAT player versus player action and eventually vehicle races of all sorts. We'll be bringing you more information on the modules as they progress!

1 pointSo, since there are a lot of people in this forum that likes cars and/or want to do car-stuff once the game is out, I though in this idea: post pictures and info of your car! I will start with mines. I'm from Spain and I own a performance workshop called Midnight Empire. This is my 1989 Nissan 200SX with CA18DET, my first car and the one I used to learn to drive. Used it for 2 years for daily. Don't mind the ride height, those where stock suspension, now I have adjustable suspension and the car is low af. I named it "Miku", since it's blue and I'm a very big fan of Hatsune Miku, one of the biggest representative icon of Japanese culture. Now Miku is sitting under construction in the workshop. The engine is being modified to Stage 3 with custom map, approx 300 HP. VAG coils conversion, new intercooler with custom fabricated front, and other little stuff that makes it a great car. -Suspension: front JIC Magic, rear Tein -Diff: S14 welded -Arms: Driftworks adjustable arm -Wheels: Kosei K3 Emery Gold -Radiator: Driftworks SuperCool -Intercooler: Race-spec Forge -Turbo: S14 T28 at 1 bar -Boost controller: HKS EVC 5 -Coils: VAG R8 / Gallardo coils with custom fabricated harness -Steering wheel: official OMP -Exhaust: 2.5 inch straight pipe -Rear lights: Type X clear style -Skyline GT-R R32 444cc injectors -Z32 MAF -HKS Super Power Flow air filter -NISMO oil filter -Custom fabricated Power Brace -And lots of stuff and hours spend in this car This is my second car, the daily one. A 1993 Suzuki Swift GTI. Cheap, lightweight and fast. And I mean... really fast. This nugget has a 1.3 Twim Cam engine dropping 101 HP. Can rev up to 9000 and has torque in every single rpm (not like the Civics). I called it the "Madrid's White Comet" since the previous owner slap it a Red Suns sticker. Although this little poor car is just too small for me, I need a more powered car with RWD, so I'm planning on selling it and buying something like a Lexus IS200. Here comes the good stuff, the workshop. It's a little garage but enough to fit some cool cars in. We have just started in this business and we already have big reputation in the sector.

1 pointAs all of you know I am Kracken aka Ken Blackout from A3PL. I am here to finally set the Police Department into a formal world, as a hopeful leader. I am going to propose a rank system to you all after you're input. I want leaders to step up and assume high command positions I was our police officers to step up and fill this department. I have met many of you and I know you're experience hence the reason you were tagged. Invite people to come join us but lets structure this department better then we have been doing. My vision is to unite all our police in one area and set up a rank function so we can all better serve the community. I have thought over this decision long and hard but finally I had to grab the bull by the horns. I wish to head up the police department until someone is elected into the position. If elections are not needed I will hand the position over once we are finished building the police departments solid foundation. Let us officers unite for one common goal. Now for the fun part Positions: Chief of Police: Kracken (If that's the census) Assistant Chief of Police: @Lil_Fish Captains: 2 Spots: Operations and Training @GotYourSix (Operations) Lieutenant's: 4 Spots Sergeant: 6 Spots Senior Officer: 8 Spots Officer: Unlimited Spots Cadets in Training: Up to Captain Specialty Jobs: Detective: 4 Spots Gang Task Force: 4 Spots Drug Task Force: 4 Spots Corrections: Head of corrections needed for this. Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/ZWV5dPe Nothing is concrete I am willing to accept all changes and ideas. Lets see if this idea works...............

1 pointGiven that there is a fair bit of world building already done in Identity, I figured I would write a story about the daily life of my character Carpe Pecuniam. It will most likely be a work in progress that I'll add more to as i'm inspired to do so. Anyway, here goes... My days always begin alone. I wake up in my queen size mattress, with no wife or girlfriend, while this bothers me to a certain extent, It is quickly pushed to the back of my mind. I'm married to my company, there is always time for that later. Dollabank has been growing incredibly quickly since it was first founded. With somewhat of a rocky start, the company was now seeing it's best days. Being the biggest cash cow on the market, I had more responsibility than ever. I needed to make sure everyone from my clients to my investors and especially my employees were all happy. My penthouse, while appearing luxurious to the working class, was actually quite small compared to the other monstrosities that some richer friend's of mine owned. It consisted of a humble living room with a beautiful Bay Window display overlooking the city. This area contained an open kitchen complete with a gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and an empty liquor cabinet. The floor was soft bamboo, which easily connected to the hardwood floors of the rest of the house. A marble counter-top lay upon the the open wall of the kitchen, with a few mahogany stools on either side of the fixture. Connected to the living room were two bedrooms to the north of the penthouse and a bedroom and a bathroom on the south side. As i made my usual Tuesday morning breakfast, a 4 egg omelette with chives, french bread, microwave sausage and orange juice, I glanced over at my stove clock: 8:30. It sure is good to be the boss, I thought to myself. Had this been earlier in my career working for JP Morgan I would have to be rushing out the door in order to wait in traffic for an hour. Nowadays, while I pride myself in my diligence and work ethic, I do take a few liberties. If I arrive to work 10 or 15 minutes late, it won't bankrupt me. Locking up my penthouse and taking the elevator down, I find myself with a familiar stranger. We are both wearing a Keys brand suit, so I decide to strike up a conversation. "That suit fits your form really well, was it tailor made?" "Are you hitting on me?" The man replies, rather upset with the homosexual advance he imagined I was making. "Nevermind." I stated quickly, not wanting to invoke any other false allegations. We awkwardly avoided eye contact until the elevator doors opened and I thought I would finally be relieved from the discomfort. This however was not the case. As the man and I both drove to work we have the pleasure of each others and eye contact avoidance until we at last entered the garage and parted ways. I thought saying goodbye or making a remark about seeing him tomorrow, would be appropriate, however given the probability that he would most likely perceive the remark as a homosexual advance, I thought better of it. Given that it was Tuesday I decided on driving my BMW, the other two choices being my much older Rolls Royce, and my newer, midlife crisis (even though I'm in my 30s), Lamborghini. I drove my BMW on Tuesdays through Thursday given it's higher fuel economy, the other two cars I mostly use for board meetings (and Mondays) and night my night life respectively. My drive to work was uneventful as usual. I flipped through the radio stations and decided on 44.3 Outlaw. It was mostly advertisements for the upcoming election, I took a mental note of some of the candidates, but I wasn't paying too much attention. On my route I did pass by the DollaBank billboard I just made a payment on. My father being a billboard salesmen, it filled me with a sense of pride to see my company's brand being elevated on a pedestal above a major highway on a glorious, white billboard. Even if it wasn't the most optimal way to advertise, I still feel it was worth it. When I finally arrive at my office at 9:40, it was a hectic mess. That is to say, it's usually a hectic mess and today was no different. Anyone who says finance is boring has never worked for me I chuckled to myself. I find it therapeutic to sometimes just stand at the entrance and watch my employees work. As my eyes shift from one to the next, watching them all work hard to complete their daily assignments, I find myself reflecting on how far my company has come. I started DollaBank when this city was just beginning, with only a few employees. The fact that over 50 were working for me now, and it's only been 2 years, it's unbelievable. "Mr. Peciuam, phone call for you." I'm snapped out of my daydream by the caring, yet urgent voice of my secretary. "Sorry about that Lynda" I said. "Put them on speaker in my office, I'll be there in a minute. Did you catch who it was by any chance?" "It's The People's Party, they want you to support them in the race and donate to their campaign. Also try and make it quick, there is a representative of the Langston Family in the lobby" "What?" I croaked, in a manner that failed the convey the anger, confusion, and fear I felt upon hearing that name. "Can't a lower manager tell them to leave? It's against policy for us to involve ourselves with organized crime, not to mention highly illegal. They have no business here, I've been refusing the mob since I first set up shop" "They're refusing to leave unless they see you personally and are saying that, 'we'll make you an offer you can't refuse'" Lynda said this last part in a horribly fake Italian accent. I always wondered how she could take matters involving millions of dollars so lightly. To Be Continued..... Will Post Part 2 Tomorrow.

1 pointThe devs said there will be no hacking at all. Its in almost every interview with them that people ask that question. They said no.
-
1 pointSo, what you're saying is that if someone doesn't agree with you.... they get killed? I think you belong in an asylum more than a governing position.
-
1 pointIn the future, please look around the forums a little bit before asking a general question. Not only is the question in almost every FAQ, but there are literally hundreds of other threads asking the exact same question. Use your resources, please.
-
1 pointIt is one thing to give your opinion, it is another to try and sway others. You may forget that this is a game and I'm far from role playing when I say this. The game doesn't have 100% real world aspects. Not everything your saying is capable of being done in the game. But I'm not upset, who you vote for is your choice. We may not even be on the same server, but I feel it would have greater for you to explain to me your distaste, I could have made some changes and bettered the campaign. As we discussed and I did so last night. Not verbatim, but you basically accused me trying to use the government to take over the power of the people etc. That's just ridiculous, I could care less about taking the power etc. I want everything to be fair. But you have your view and we can discuss this further where you may council me with your suggestions or we can just leave it as is.

1 pointThank you so much for your warm welcome, I read through the rules and the FAQ'S; you are right they really do help. Have a lovely day
-
1 pointYeah, you will just to make the decision on how to do it. I can think of a couple of ways for you to do it.

1 point1. Cell phones (Mobile phones known as here), they won't be purchasable, but you will have one and it can't be stolen. The phones can't be traced and it won't be a such sophisticated level in the game on these things. 2. No they can't do it as it is not a mechanic in the game. 3. Police are players and so they won't teleport as that is not immersive/ realistic. 4. There is Jail and Prison in the game and Jail is a lower sentence time and prison will be for major crimes. Prison time is set to 45 minutes max but will likely be made longer in the future as it is set to that for testing purposes. 5. You will likely have very little money at start e.g. $100 probably (Not confirmed). 6. You can't copy designs likely as because you will have to try and create it yourself but also there will be no branding from the real world, you will have to use in game tools / assets to create your designs and that includes shapes and things. 7. If you commit a crime and go prison, then it will be harder for you or one to become a cop because of the crime.

1 pointThere's not a lot to running a business. I think a good product and good pricing is what really drives it to success. However, I can't say there's a set of rules you can follow to get rich quick overnight. There are some basic definitions you will need to know such as capital, equity, retail, etc. You should also be professional and thoughtful when dealing with a customer (especially an angry one). You have to treat a customer right if you want them to keep coming back for more. PM me if you're interested in learning more or didn't understand something.
-
1 pointAs LuckyDuck said, you can check the FAQs, and also to answer your question, you do obviously respawn, but if you had any guns or any money on your body when you died, then players will be able to loot it from you. To the extent of my knowledge, I know that you won't lose your clothes, money in the bank, home, etc.

1 pointAs of today, Supreme will have its own boxing team in the "Born To Bleed" boxing league. Our first boxer will be our security guard, @djdobish My man got gains + light hands, standing at 6'8, 275 pounds. @OnePumpWonder will be his representative, and will handle press conferences and such. @Tat2xNova will be his personal trainer. You can read more about it here: http://www.identityrpg.com/community/topic/5547-boxing-league-recruiting/

1 pointIt depends on the server. On official servers there are no age limits or surveys from what I heard but past crimes and actions will be held accountable for. On private servers it is up to the owner on what happens, he came make it exactly like Altis and have a age limit for all the devs care but it will still have to be somewhat similar to the original intended gameplay. Hope this helped!

1 pointYou are sayin you want to keep taxes at a minimum, but not what that means at what tax rate are that ? The Healthcare system that you claim that youre party will support, in what way ? Free transportation (for the working class, how will you know if they are working or not ?) and free lawyers (sounds like a paradise for criminals) on the behalf for those that do a legit Life, they have to pay for the extra police you want to put in against the criminals. I just dont see the logic in it, but best of luck.
-
1 pointKids can easily lie about their age and so no filter will do anything. There are other reasons why it is not in the game and therefor it has been expressed a lot from the devs it won't enter the game at any point. (They could change their minds at a later point).

1 point@PermanentPMS Nice to meet you, this is a place of questions... Anyways welcome to the community! I recommend you read the FAQ's and then start asking questions, as they could possibly answer yours for you.
-
1 pointWelcome to the community. I am (and still hope) a good friend of your husbands. I'm sure you'll love this community and everyone is ready to help. If there's anything I can do for you and your club let me know
-
1 pointHey Everybody, I am PermanentPMS and I am so very proud to be OldNo7's ol' lady. As the first Ol Lady to join up I will naturally do my best to guide any new ones in the correct path and position an Ol Lady MUST follow within the club. Thank you all for reading this post. I look forward to meeting everyone.

1 pointI think for Asylums sake, real trademarked logos/brands shouldn't be allowed to be brought into game, just out of the concern of a lawsuit being thrown at Asylum, which would probably cripple them. The idea of creating a brand, and then suing another for trademark infringement in game is really cool tho! I am curious what "trademark and patent laws" will be established in game to avoid infringement of character artistic or creative rights.
-
1 pointWell, first things first, you don't patent clothing, you trademark it. Patents are for inventions. Trademarks are for artistic designs, names, logos etc. Second, you could RP it out, take them to court (with lawyers) and depend on the jury's ruling have a cop issue them a ticket (fine) or jail time.
-
1 pointPersonally, I would like to see something very interesting, to say the least. Something very questionable as to why that design even exists. Something like this, to invoke the thoughts we have in the real-world when we see hideous vehicles:
-
1 pointCan't wait to get in identity and start my Empire of crime and profits. There will be so much in identity for a Mafia roleplayer like me to do. Anyone who likes Mafia roleplay is welcome to join.
-
1 pointWould be cool if you could steal a police uniform from their laundromat and be able to empty their evidence locker of your crimes!

1 pointIdentity Forum Guidelines Last Edit: July 9th, 2018 Participation in the Official Identity forums constitutes agreement to the following guidelines, which apply to posts, profile information, avatars, signatures, private messaging, and any other content on this site and participation in general. The live nature of discussions in this community makes it difficult for staff to catch every violation of these rules. If you believe that someone has violated our User Guidelines, please send a private message to a member of our volunteer moderation team or staff with a link to the content and a brief description of what you believe is wrong. Please do not respond to a violation personally, as you may aggravate the situation and possibly violate our guidelines yourself. Any content that violates our User Guidelines will be removed. Interpretation of our guidelines is at the discretion of the staff. Please do 1. Report violations of the forum rules. Moderators will quickly review reports and make decisions based on the information you provide. 2. Respect others. Showing respect will encourage others to participate in discussion. 3. Like posts, that you feel contribute useful information to a discussion. 4. Read the rules, so that you do not accidentally receive an infraction or ban. 5. Be constructive. Help others by answering questions, and offer feedback to their ideas. 6. Read before posting. Fully Comprehend the topic of discussion and determine what has already been discussed. 7. Use proper grammar and spelling. Read your post before submitting. Spelling mistakes may attract attention away from the discussion. 8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for! Please don’t 1. Troll. Trolling does not contribute to meaningful discussion. 2. Spam. Spamming clutters the forum and makes it difficult to find original content. 3. Flame, or attack others. Insults do not contribute to discussion, and will be removed. 4. Repost Deleted Content. Content that was deleted was removed for a reason, even if the reason is unclear. 5. Demonstrate or perpetuate toxic behavior. A user is considered toxic if they repeatedly make defamatory, threatening, insulting, or otherwise hateful remarks toward other users or staff. Please keep language civil when expressing your opinions. 6. Advertise websites or services unrelated to Identity. We do not sell advertising space on the Identity forums. 7. Cross Post. Cross-posting makes it difficult for users using the search function to find relevant information, and may be considered spam. 8. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. 9. Abuse reports. Reporting content with blank or inaccurate report descriptions will hinder a moderator's capacity to help. Please report content that is in violation of the rules, and not simply because you personally dislike another user. 10. Engage rule violators. You may accidentally violate these rules yourself by responding to others that you feel aren’t following these guidelines. 11. Make low-effort posts. Contribute useful information to the discussion, and avoid going off-topic. 12. Discuss Politics/Religion. These subjects are sensitive and may offend others. (There is a small place for fantasy politics within Identity's ecosystem. The Governor position will be able to tweak small settings within the game world, and must compete against others for power. The political systems within Identity are simplified and do not accurately reflect the processes involved with political discourse in the real world. Players may implicitly take inspiration from existing candidates or parties, but must not show any connections to real world politics through the use of logos/symbols, names (of existing leaders, existing parties, or of those within recent history), or slogans. By affiliating your party with a real world political faction, you are bringing such politics into discussion and grabbing the attention of those who recognize it. Real world politics typically invoke a strong emotional response in some viewers and can lead to vehement conflicts extremely quickly.) 13. Create multiple accounts. Only one account per person is authorized, so forum users can be easily identified. Avoiding a ban may result in further permanent action. 14. Operate a shared account. Sharing an account with another user will make conversation difficult should any of the account operators share a difference in opinion. Conflicting statements will impede our ability to help assist any single user on a shared account. Due to this, we request that each account is operated by a single, separate user. 15. Create forum posts that mention specific users in the title. Creating a new topic with the title specifically mentioning another user isn’t conducive to group discussion, especially if the targeted user isn’t comfortable responding in an open format. (For example, don’t make posts like “@usernamehere, why is x and not y?”) If you’re asking a question directly to another user, please do so using the inbox function on the forums. 16. Post Personal Information, or post links containing personal information. Sharing information about others can be harmful to their real-life. 17. Use forum features in unintended ways. Asking for likes, or making a game that incorporates the like/follow buttons artificially inflates user forum stats, making it difficult for other users to determine which content or user is contributing popular content to the site. 18. Discuss Moderator or Administrator actions Publicly. There are often reasons why a decision is made by a moderator or administrator that may be unclear to outside-parties, and off-topic discussion about an admin or moderator decision may be disruptive to a conversation. We politely ask that you trust and respect decisions made by staff. If you have an issue with a specific staff member, please report the matter to a Community Manager. 19. Impersonate Asylum Entertainment Staff or Moderators. When users seek assistance from moderators or Asylum staff, they shouldn't need to worry about encountering the possibility of dealing with an impostor. Always heed the official titles for staff roles on both the forums and discord to help avoid confusion. 20. Intentionally Spread False Information. Spreading rumors you know are falsified and portraying them as fact will only complicate Identity's development and serves to derail the actual constructive criticism offered by other users. Even accidentally giving out false information can be dangerous, so please ask a staff member or reference official statements (Dev Blogs for example). 21. Post or link to illegal, dangerous, offensive or NSFW content. Do not engage in activities that include (but are not limited to) the sharing of sexually explicit content, piracy, malicious code execution (viruses, malware, spyware etc.), gore. Please keep posts pertaining to the M-rated content in Identity reasonable. 22. Create or operate an account with the intention of solely boosting or supporting another user's reputation, poll votes, or opinions. We ask that all users contribute to the forums in ways that don't simply perpetuate someone else's particular viewpoint or account statistics. ***Moderators and staff have the final say on all matters. If you would like to report moderator abuse, contact a Community Manager directly. Creating public threads or posts that question or reference administrative decisions or potential administrative decisions is not permitted.*** ***Freedom of speech rights do not extend to privately owned websites, such as this one. These guidelines detail the types of behavior and activities that are allowed here.*** ***We reserve the right to deactivate any account and to edit or remove any content without warning. These guidelines are subject to change at any time without notice.*** ***If you have a question or suggestion about our User Guidelines, please do not hesitate to contact a moderator or admin and we will be glad to help in any way that we can.*** 3bdullah alzmeeeleee 6ree8 jbbbh #7mod mf95

1 pointFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) 1. How are Kickstarter backers different from website backers? There is only one difference between backer rewards for the Kickstarter and website. Kickstarter backers will receive a unique in-game hat with the Kickstarter logo. Website backers receive a hat with the Identity logo. No new content in the future will ever display either of these logos. 2. Many people are confused on what the game is about. Would you mind telling us what your vision for the game is? Is the game more about Cops vs Robbers, or a balance between all the available paths? Identity is a cops and robbers game at heart, but it is a life simulator in so many other ways. We’re catering to role-play in a way that is possibly the first of its kind. Players have the freedom to pursue careers that will impact the player economy in their own unique way. Become a taxi driver, deliver goods to player-owned businesses, fight fires, save lives, argue a case in criminal court, or just hold out your hand and beg for money. Find, or steal your ‘identity’! 3. What can you tell us about the world? World size? Player limit? We anticipate that the playable world size will be 200 square kilometers, or 77 square miles in comparison. This means that the whole map is 14 km wide, and would take about an hour and a half to walk across. We hope to support up to 300 players (or more!) per server. 4. Can you expand on the professions? We know there will be cops, but what types of jobs will be available for civilians? Will they be able to create their own businesses? Create their own items? etc. Also, Medics and Firefighters? Players can choose from a wide range of professions, including the ability to become a Firefighter, EMT, Taxi Driver, Farmer, Bounty Hunter, Fisherman, Logger, Miner, Delivery Driver and even a business entrepreneur. The options available to you as a player get more specific than this even, but we aren’t yet ready to expand on the full list. The direction of development is prone to change, and we don’t want to promise anything that might change down the pipeline. Business ownership allows players to own factories and small business, giving them control over what items are manufactured and sold. Items created by a factory must be delivered to their destination city where store owners in that area can decide what quantity and type (formal wear, casual, punk outfits, weapons, etc.) they wish to list in their business. Some default items are always available in all stores for when market demand is not met. 5. How will death be handled? When a player dies, some items such as the money the player is carrying at that time, will be dropped on the ground and will become accessible to anyone in the area that wishes to take it. Clothing items will never be dropped. We have decided that a player’s character appearance in a social game like Identity is important. You will always look the way you decide your character to look. If the player is not resusitated by an EMT or teammate, the player is then prompted to respawn at the location of their last sync (house, apartment, city) Private servers have some control over what types of items players will drop on death, if any at all. 6. Can you expand on how the housing system will work? Size and availability of apartments and houses? Players can choose to own or rent housing in Identity, while apartments can also be shared with a friend or roommate depending on the size of the property. For instance, two friends, or a married couple can choose to purchase a 2 bedroom apartment where they both can live comfortably with each other. Apartments and houses are fully customizable, allowing players to place furniture and objects anywhere in the room. Home-owners can invite other players into their apartment or house at any time. Players cannot access another players home without an invitation. 7. Will there be any specific safe areas where people can go AFK or sit and socialize without being killed or robbed? There are safe zones within certain types of buildings in Identity. Metal detectors serve to preserve immersion, and will temporarily remove any weapons upon entry, allowing all players in the area to safely relax, socialize and meet new friends. These safe zones are known to us as “Sub-Hubs” or social gathering points that reflect on the lifestyle theme of their environment (Biker Bar, Business club, Bum alley, etc.). While many of these areas can only be accessed by law-abiding citizens, some Sub-Hubs are neutral and can be entered by any player on the map. Few areas are designated gathering points for active criminals looking for the right crime of opportunity, or new friends to help them plan their next heist. 8. How will player identification work in game? Will names appear above players heads? If so, at what distances will they be seen? As our design stands right now, the official servers do display names over heads within certain ranges. Some things like masks and balaclavas can affect this. Moreover, private servers have an option where they can hide names from all players unless greeted. By this I mean you won’t see the name over another player until they perform an emote action, after which you’ll always see their name.
