2 pointsHi everyone! I just realized that today is my one year anniversary of being on the forums! I just wanted to talk about how great it's been to get to know a couple of you! Here's to another year of answering questions, coming up with new ideas for the game, and making friends. See you all in Town Square soon!

2 pointsHi guys I am New to Identity just pledged this past weekend, (got my little apartment and garage I wasn't referred here by anyone I just randomly found it on the web looking at new games coming out in 2017. I been reading all I could find out about it the past few days. I am really like'ing what I am seeing. Its a shame there is not more marking for it but I understand with this type of crowd funding that the devs spent most of their time an money into making the game and not advertising . That's where we the fans come it. ) "Idea / Suggestion " I was thinking about Identity having some kind of referral program , where current backers could recommend the game to their friends and if those friends then pledge a donation to the Identity game development , the original backer and the new backer they both get a referral , point, star, credit whatever... The devs can then decision on a reward , for example 5 recruitment points will get you a Limited edition lava lamp for your apartment that you can only get from the referral program. Nothing game braking like more cash or cars or anything ridiculous, but a token of appreciation that's merely cosmetic and players can show off to their friends to show how they help grow the game. I have personally seen this work in other crowed funded games and I believe the word of mouth from fans is the best way to help a game and its community to grow, and these programs just help give it that little extra nudge in the right direction. Best Regards Kami

2 pointsYou might get a better response if you were more polite. As in, "Would you please release a video explaining how elections for President or Prime Minister are going to work? Also, can you please explain how prospective home owners can begin the process of purchasing their new abode?"

2 pointsJust so you know, what you described is a balanced system. It is not supposed to be easy to escape after committing a huge crime; just like in real life. The police are supposed to have an upper hand, that is what is supposed to make a society safe. I think what you want is a world where it is acceptable and easy to commit felonies and then get away with them, which is neither realistic or going to happen. Crime is going to be challenging, and law enforcement is going to be dangerous and also challenging. Identity isn't going to be like Grand Theft Auto where the game is designed for you to quickly and effectively commit huge crimes with little strategy and planning and then just escape. And remember, if on the off chance that you do escape from the police in identity, you are going to be wanted forever until you are locked away unlike GTA where you are out of sight for 2 minutes and then suddenly you're free. A life of crime is going to be a life of struggle, with only few people that are hugely successful. The game is designed to be immersive, and I think the team is doing a very effective job at doing so.

1 pointThe Rebel Department Welcome to the Department. We are a gang seeking control over the drug business. Our main goal in identity will be drug wars & gang wars and some fun RP'ing. We have already made multiple connections like a supply of weapons, drug smugglers, protection and hitman services. We can offer all our members part of these connections. So what is the department? A rebel group? Ehh, the word rebel is there because it is a beautiful word, since The Drug Trafficking, Cartel Fighting Gang War Department would not sound neat would it? Nuff said, we do absolutely everything. We do everything, as long as it involves shooting and money. EVERYTHING. But most likely just fight cartels, rob people for their drugs, do gang wars, make drugs, get rich. But, who are you to lead this gang, are you trustworthy? I claim to be a trustworthy leader for this gang. I am pretty sure that, whenever our journey begins, we will not have much support or members. I will have to do the dirty work myself. And i always will be doing the "field work" myself as well. I am not bossing anyone around. I am a leader, not a boss. The gang is not about anyone being bossed around, we work as equals. Always. Are you interested in joining our gang? Read the rules at the bottom of this post and use the application form right under the rules, send me your application via PM and i will review it. If i join, what will we do together? We will do many things together, like produce drugs, fight other gangs, burn their meth labs, steal their meth. Capture cartels, steal everything worth our time, maybe rob a bank and capture more cartels. We will do everything worth our time. If i join, can i become something big in this gang? The answer is yes. There are 3 ranks in total. To rank up, you need to prove your loyalty to the gang. For each rank up, you need to pass a test. This test forces you to prove your loyalty. Each rank has a harder test they need to beat in order to rank up. The test is not mandatory, assuming you find a better way to prove your loyalty and respect in a different way. Most of the time, a loyalty test involves an act against a rival gang for example. The ranks are: Recruit The new member will get this rank. Recruits will always be under watch, and they will be carefully judged whether or not they can start to climb up the ranks. Soldier A soldier has proved his loyalty with a test. This is the regular rank around here. The soldiers will be the muscle of the gang. Sergeant A higher rank than a soldier. He has proved himself in a battle and has been also taken a loyalty test. He has access to the gang funds etc. Enemies So far none, but don't get me wrong, we are not joking around. Anyone against us will be marked on the list of enemies. Allies The Bad Company Rangers MC (DISBANDED) The Luprano Family And lastly, the rules of the gang 1. No snitching or ratting. Talking about our stuff to outsiders will result in a punishment for ratting. This involves some nasty stuff and kicking you out from the department. 2. No crime against The Department is allowed. If you help a rival gang, you will be marked as a rat. 3. No stealing from us by any means! This makes you a thief, and they get the exact same treatment as rats. 4. If you get caught, no words about the department shall not be spoken. If you tell the cops any information, you will be count as a rat. If you agree to follow these rules, here is an application base How old are you? = What kind of (online) gang / group activity have you done in the past? = How much time can you allocate for the department? = Do you have any experience in online roleplay? = Are you ready to do some insane stuff? = What can you bring to the department? Why should we accept you? = What is your timezone? = What server will you be playing on? (EU for example) = Note: By no means do you have to roleplay a Russian character to be a part of this gang. It is just that i roleplay a Russian character. Decided to put this here because many people have misconceptions that this gang is only for people roleplaying as Russians. Now, you have read all there is so far. If i missed anything, just ask me personally. Rekter, the leader of the Department

1 pointBorn To Bleed is a professional boxing team looking to turn our fighters into champions by helping them achieve their full potential and bring greatness to all of Identity RPG. The 'Born To Bleed' Team competes regularly and are very competitive always looking for competition. We want to motivate our fighters to give their best effort at all times whether it's in the ring or training. To join you must train with a Trainer which can be found below along with other information. If you want to set up a fight with one of our fighters message the Team Leader or a Trainer on the forums or come into our gym so we can schedule a appropriate time for the fight. We also host events sometimes with a grand prize! If you are wondering why there is so few openings, it's because we need to focus on our fighters and having too big of a team can be pretty difficult. We want to be able to give everyone even attention and opportunities. If this team is manageable we will create more openings and jobs. His job is also to scout and recruit fighters IF there are openings. His job is to also enforce the rules and train his fighters. He is also the chief executive officer, the highest ranking person of the company and makes the managerial decisions. Trainer: The job of the Trainers is to recruit fighters IF there are openings. He also trains fighters for upcoming fights. Trainers are allowed to compete in fights as well BUT, they might not to get to compete as much because we need to focus on our fighters.(This applies for the Team Leader as well.) Fighters: The job of the Fighter is to train and compete in fights when they are ready gaining recognition and possibly getting a sponsor for themselves or the team. Representative: His job is to speak for our team/business and showcase our fights/events and stay in contact with our sponsors and help manage. The job of the Representatives also are pretty much assist the CEO/Team Leader with his job because it can get overwhelming. Team Application Process: To join you must talk to the Team Leader or a Trainer on the forums, with a direct message, or in-game. (Forum Name) (RP Name) (Do you have a mic?) (Age):Optional (What position are you trying to get?) (What makes you wanna join the team?) (How active are you?) (Tell us a little about yourself) (Anything else you would like to tell us?) After talking to us, we will call In-game or let you know on the forums or direct message if you got accepted into B.T.B. (most likely on how you contacted us.) Rules:No weapons, The fighter must only use their boxing gloves (or fists if there are no boxing gloves) to fight. No drug use such as weed, cocaine, heroine, steroids, etc. Use of these drugs will automatically disqualify the fighter. No bad sportsmanship, Fighters must not curse or insult the other fighter or this can result in a warning or a disqualification.Fighters must obey the referee at all times or they will receive a warning or disqualification.Fighters must not attack the referee or they will receive a warning but most likely a disqualification.Fighters must not attack the other fighter after the bell (or the end of the round or match) or it will end in a disqualification or the fighter will receive a warning. If a Fighter "floors" their opponent, they cannot hit them when they're on the canvas. If a fighter is absent when his fight is up, he has 1 minute to show up or it will be considered a no contest. If it is an event, the fighter that is missing his opponent will move on to the next fight.Fighters only have a 1 minute break between rounds, taking too long will result in a warning or disqualification. When a round is over, the fighters must return to their corner.(These rules only apply if there is mechanics in place for these.)If you score a knockdown on your opponent, you must go to the farthest neutral corner while the referee makes the count. The floored boxer has up to 10 seconds to get back up on his feet before losing the bout by knockout.A boxer who is knocked down cannot be saved by the bell in any round.Referee/Judges:Referee's and Judges will most likely just be hired to avoid cheating and/or favoritism. If we cannot hire one, we'll have somebody on our team and/or the other team to judge and/or referee to fill in the spots. The Referee will be in charge of enforcing the rules, stopping the fight if somebody is knocked out, or if nobody is knocked out the Referee will announce the final decision made by the judges at the end of a fight. Judging: Since there is no take downs, kicks and other stuff, The judges will keep track of whoever ever lands the most good punches, using good technique and blocking. If nobody is knocked out, the decision will be made by the judges. They will choose whoever they thought was the best fighter and be announced by the referee after he gets the final decision from the judges.Rounds and Time: There can be 3-5 rounds and each one will be 3-5 mins. It depends on who's fighting and what kind of fight it is.Amateur Fights: I match up one of my fighters with another fighter from another gym/club who are around the same skill level, unless there is nobody else to fight and they still want to fight but they risk a butt whooping and a loss on their record that I'll keep track of. A Amateur Fight will be 3 rounds and 3 minutes with 1 minute break between rounds for corner men to tend to their fighters.Professional Fights: This is when I match up my best fighters with the best fighters out there and put their skills to the test and put it on their pro record, no matter if it's win or loss. Possibly being a reward at the end A Professional Fight will be 5 rounds and 5 mins with a 1 minute break between rounds for corner men to tend to their fighters. Special Events: I might host special events and might have people pay for tickets to enter the fight and spectate it. We'll have people from multiple gyms and teams to compete for the grand prize while trying to improve their record while getting recognition. Each event will have at least 8, 12 or 16 fighters. It will be set up like this. All fighters that participated will get a shout out for their teams and a thank you at the end of the event. Match Up and Event Example:

1 pointI too would like to be able to shoot from vehicles, but i've been around enough to know there are too many assclowns that would abuse the mechanic in every way imaginable. So, with regret, i have to agree that it's probably best to not have it on official servers.
-
1 pointI'm aware! I'm saying it gives players role playing law enforcement an idea of what characters to keep an eye on for suspect comments.
-
1 pointThe progress bar is updated manually and in big chunks. It is only updated when the devs feel they have hit a good enough milestone in development. e.g. it went up about end of march from 76% to 89%.

1 pointWell, while i plan to play a law-enforcement person, and will of course comply with the rules and regulations therein (mostly), i have no desire to build a character around it. I will simply be a guy that plays a cop IN a game rather than "Bob the Cop," OF the game.
-
1 pointWelcome. I, myself, don't prefer RP, but this game looks fantastic with possibility for all manner of players.

1 pointOn Official servers, it will be on the same database yes. However if you decorate it in server #1, then you will have to start over with decorating it on server #2. The devs will try to make sure it will be redeemable on all the private servers but it will only be redeemable once I am sure.

1 point@deadaim Please don't consecutive post as it can be considered spam, there is a edit button and you can easily just section out the post so it is broken down and easily readable. The reason for the shooting out cars is given in the FAQ. @Devonor has a great point, which I couldn't of explained it any better than he has.

1 pointoh no, not 2 months.. dayum, what will we ever do? :(( Lol i like how the second most voted is 'vehicles' they haven't even started on vehicle mechanics, that's no way going to happen anytime soon. Drug manufacture, and guns are in the same video, i dont understand why theres two options in the poll. Map format? what does this mean? like how they are going to lay out the map? how would you do a video on it if you havent completed the map? easier to just show a picture and zone it off in different colours to show off how the map is to be.
-
1 pointYes, I was aware that you declared your campaign whiles ago! I was also aware that you were my primary competition due to your...popularity!

But I would love to assist to your meets and touge nights defending my team's pride! PS; if there's enough street teams, it could be cool to have a territory map, so teams can race each other like in Initial D.

1 pointHello citizens! I'm Motown, and I'm Identity's Community Manager, the person in charge of delivering all of your important ideas and messages to Identity's development team! What's special about my role here is that I'm not just your eyes and ears, I'm also one-half of the founding team for Identity! John Vanderzwet and I set out together to make Identity a reality, and have been involved in every aspect of Identity's development since the very start. That means, through me (and our volunteer moderator staff), you have direct access to the very top of our family tree, and we can influence the design and development of Identity together! You won't get that sort of treatment from many industry CM's! So, If you have ideas that you feel will expand and define Identity for years to come, let me know, and I will make sure it hits the right ears. What a relief it has been to know that so many people have been waiting for a game like Identity for so long. I couldn't be happier to have the opportunity to be the liaison that will connect you with the world of Identity and the wonderful people who make it what it is! We strongly feel that we have a winning formula, and the deepest conviction that we may revolutionize the MMORPG genre with your support! We're going to do a lot of great things together, so it's only fair that you know a little bit about me first! My name is Sean, I'm 27 years old. My best friend is my boss and co-worker, John Vanderzet. I grew up all over the United States where I've developed the hyperactive, happy, and unbiased personality you will come to know me for! I call Ontario, Canada my temporary home while I work on Identity as your Community Manager, interim Art Director and 3D prop artist. I went to college for Video Game Design & Production, but my true passion is interacting with people! I've been a forum moderator for many large and well-known online gaming communities, including a default subreddit of 8 million subscribers on Reddit.com, a volunteer guide of the Followers of Asura in "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures", an event organizer in "Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa" (Big RG fan btw!), the only English forum moderator of a German FPS called "Parabellum" (Google Translate ftw!), and forum moderator for "Planetside 1", "GamersFirst", "Mortal Online", and a few others I can't even remember, for varying lengths of time! Yep, I get around! But now it's time I get to know a little bit about you too. Create a new topic in this forum, and introduce yourself! We want to know exactly what personalities come out of the the deep, dark, depths of the internet to share our passion for Identity! But be nice!
