Hi guys I am New to Identity just pledged this past weekend, (got my little apartment and garage I wasn't referred here by anyone I just randomly found it on the web looking at new games coming out in 2017. I been reading all I could find out about it the past few days. I am really like'ing what I am seeing. Its a shame there is not more marking for it but I understand with this type of crowd funding that the devs spent most of their time an money into making the game and not advertising . That's where we the fans come it. ) "Idea / Suggestion " I was thinking about Identity having some kind of referral program , where current backers could recommend the game to their friends and if those friends then pledge a donation to the Identity game development , the original backer and the new backer they both get a referral , point, star, credit whatever... The devs can then decision on a reward , for example 5 recruitment points will get you a Limited edition lava lamp for your apartment that you can only get from the referral program. Nothing game braking like more cash or cars or anything ridiculous, but a token of appreciation that's merely cosmetic and players can show off to their friends to show how they help grow the game. I have personally seen this work in other crowed funded games and I believe the word of mouth from fans is the best way to help a game and its community to grow, and these programs just help give it that little extra nudge in the right direction. Best Regards Kami

Disregard this post, and it's contents. I'm working on a new character concept. Which hopefully will be much cooler! While, I was always aware there would be no FBI available in the game since before I made these. I never intended to take it as far as I did. Anyway, thanks for all the great RP. And I'll hope to see you all in the Social Module on March, 21st! (Click the images to enlarge.) Out-Of-Character Please note, this is an In-character document, available only to the police force. However, I don't mind if any outside sources should get their hands on this, and possibly use it against my character. It's all a part of the fun and games, and any good RP story needs something dramatic. I would also really love some feedback on these documents. Please know I reserve the right to change these documents at any time, without notice. Feel free to post here, or PM me with any questions. You can also view the whole high-quality album here. Thank you!

Motown-Today at 4:19 PM Sorry man, the next video you'll see is of a police encounter with drug manufacturers. A little bit of action Confirmed new Video from Motown himself! Can't wait for possible action pvp video! (This was confirmed on the discord chat) 4/23/17 4:19pm

The reason the videos take so long to make is because they are, in my opinion, very flashy and, in my opinion, over the top. They try to make it look like everything is working perfectly and in a near complete state, when in reality this is far from the truth.

Hi there! I'm the Chief Design Officer at Supreme and I was responsible for the video. The process was fairly complex but I can break it down into a couple simple steps. 1. I acquired the base video footage 2. I used a complex motion tracking software known as boujou. Using this, I was able to recreate the space in the video using many thousand points in a 3D environment. 3. I exported the points to Adobe After Effects. 4. I cut parts of the video I didn't want and then added music. 5. Using the points created earlier, I assigned text and images to certain parts of the video. 6. I blended the added layers using masks and textures.

Hello fellow police officers I am here to notify you that I am officially running for governor since yesterday. If I am elected I promise to set aside 30% of taxes to give to police work for better weapons, bullet proof vests, stronger vehicles, better tech, and build on more checkpoint each year in my term. I hope I have your vote to make a brighter beginning for Identity Island.

as of the poll i would love to see some things around the economy , as far as i know we don't know a lot about it. EDIT: stuff like how are jobs like mining , food ? (mac donalds ?, are players going to have to sell food to other players), do players have to sell every thing to other players , or will there be a middle men ?

RDM: This is short hand for "Random Deathmatch". RDM: is known in RolePlay and is used as a rule to stop players from just going in a server and shooting everyone they see with no reason. RDM: The term means, Players killing with no Role Play reason which is valid and consists of "Having Fun". (I could go find a more in-depth definition but you should know what it means and understand it from this) VDM is the same but stands for "Vehicle Deathmatch" and is applied for players who are driving a car or a vehicle of some kind etc. The developers are creating their own anti-cheat system to cover these types of people. No you cannot build buildings in this game.... Maybe they will figure it out in the future. Law enforcement will be likely alerted by alarms on shops being triggered, or witnesses etc. However if you do commit a crime you will become wanted automatically and the police won't know who you are (Unless there is a witness) or the cops won't even know they are looking for someone. There has been a lot of questions regarding this and I am sure if I can remember correctly that, you will likely have to be on the game to serve your time in the prison. No executions on inmates. (Death is answered here on the other:) FAQ Number #5: I believe you will be able to change your appearance at anytime in the game, i am not sure with gender though and that is probably not.
  13. 1 point
Well, something will never be enough, once the devs give us the next video, it will be "When is the next video coming" etc. So your point? will always be something, I want more, more and more.

I really hope that there will be a wide enough variety of female clothing that my character won't be limited to dresses or other "feminine" wardrobe choices. I'm more of a flannels and suits kind of gal, if you feel me. I'd hate to see wardrobe choices be limited to my character's gender. With some exceptions, I can definitely assume. Hairstyles too. I really don't want to have long hair. Us butch ladies exist, lol even if we may not have such options for a while, I hope you keep that in mind! Keep up the awesome work and I can't wait to play B)

That is not a confirmation of the video coming as a release date, but a confirmation of what the next video is about and so it has nothing to do with delays... etc.

As long as it's cosmetic, then yeah that definitely sounds good and would be an incentive for people to show more people. Just have to wait to see what the devs think.

Hi guys I am New to Identity just pledged this past weekend, (got my little apartment and garage I wasn't referred here by anyone I just randomly found it on the web looking at new games coming out in 2017. I been reading all I could find out about it the past few days. I am really like'ing what I am seeing. Its a shame there in not more marking for it but I understand with this type of crowd funding that the devs spent most of their time an money into making the game and not advertising . That's where we the fans come it. ) Another great game I been following for some time now is Star Citizen , if ya not familiar with it here is a link https://robertsspaceindustries.com/ . If I had to explain it to someone with out taking 3 hours to tell you all that's in it now and all that's coming out in it, I would say this. Star Citizen is Arma meets Wing Commander that had a baby that was really into Firefly and Star Trek . Like Identity there are no classes, but there are tons of careers and jobs you can do. You can be a fighter pilot, a Space trucker hauling cargo, ship engineer repairing ships, space miner on planets or out in asteroid fields, salvager of ship wrecks, medics, space marine, PIRATE!!! there are many more things you can do, the list just goes on and on. Here is a little Demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuDj5v81Nd0 Even though the game is completely different then Identity there are a lot of similarity's with the 2 game development that I really like. They both are developing modules and we get to play them as soon as they are ready so we can give feed back as the game is still being made. For Example, Identity is coming out soon with the town hall module. Currently if you Pledge to Star Citizen with a starter pack for $45 bucks (smallest package) you get immediate access to their current modules which include. Some peoples out there may say , "Oh I heard of that game you have to spent 1000's of dollars to get a ship" NO YOU DO NOT!!! All you need is a 45 dollar starter package (there are a bunch you can chose from just like Identity ) every thing else can be bought in game with in game money, its not PAY TO WIN, if you have spare cash and want to support the game and buy a 500 dollar ship (like you can buy a luxury apartment in Identity ) you can, but you don't have to. I bought many ships cause I really love the game , I want to support them and I was lucky to have the funds. But all these ships mean nothing unless you have friends to crew them with you, the ships don't fly themselves! Modules you can pay right now in SC Arena Commander - Its a Dog fighting sim where you get right into the action vs NPC's or Player vs Player action with no risk of permeant loss to you or your ships. Star Marine - This is a FPS they have built where Marines VS Pirates Player vs Player death match / zone capture type game play. PTU- This is the real meat on the bone. PTU stands for Persistent Test Universe , this is a very small version of what the final MMO will be like. You get to take off from a space station and fly around a down sized solar system, you can fight npcs or other players you come across or work together and complete goals or just go explore. There will also be a stand alone single player SC game called, Squadron 42. With stars like Mark Hamilton (luke skywalker, as if I had to tell you) and Gary Oldman as charters in the game. (you can buy a 60 dollar starter pack that has Star Citizen and Squadron 42 in a bundle , that's only 15 bucks for sq 42, ) One great thing that SC is doing now (and has being doing, hence how I got in) is a referral program. I would love to see Identity do this too to help get the word out. How it works in Star Citizen is every pledged account gets a unique referral code, you give this code out to peeps you want to join the game. If those people do infact use the code when they buy the game (starter pack) then you the person who gave them the code gets 5k in game money (when the game goes live) and SO does the new person who used your code. What's great is that it rewards the person for promoting the game with out costing the dev team any money or time. Its a win win for everyone. Now 5k in SC is not a lot of money, but you get 5 -10 of your buddies in and it starts to add up, If you really go nuts recruiting peeps they give you even more in game goodies . Then those 5-10 get their code out to and it snow balls. SC currently has well over 1.5 million registered players and it keeps getting bigger. Well I hope to see you guys and gals here in Identity Or in Star Citizen , I will be playing both. If you have a friend that already plays Star Citizen and you want to get in it, ask them for their Referral code, so you both get some rewards for spreading the word. and if you don't know anyone feel free to use mine below. Drop me a line if ya stop by, I will show you around. Kamikaze_DaMutt referral code- STAR-MG6Z-QGCQ <--- just copy and past when you sign up. Than drop me a line and I will give you a tour / ( may make you carry stuff for me, cause you know free labor )

BINGO! In SC I have less then 10 referrals to my name, even though I have brought more then 50 peeps into the game. I played EVE online for many years (since closed beta 2001) and I brought in some of my close friends from there, and instead of telling them use my code when they brought their friends in I told them to use theirs so they get the benefit and it took off like a brush fire . Now I only get credit for a few of them, But I brought SC 50 paying backers and that's more important to me to have a lot of friends to play SC with. The more money SC makes now the better the game will be for us. But like you said, there are a lot of peeps that won't do something for nothing so if a referral program helps Identity grow bigger and better, I AM ALL FOR IT. P.S. those same friends that got in to SC , they all at a little email from me last night titled "What's your Identity " hehehe.

so when someone calls me and i dont ansor will you be able to create like an out going message like in real life
  21. 1 point
Yes Star Wars was a Massive inspiration to Chris Roberts (and other devs on the team over at CIG) . With that said , other then the ship to ship dogfighting being like X-wing / TIE fighter which Chris Roberts drew upon to be like world ward 2 dog fighting , I wouldn't really put the rest of SC in the Star Wars category . But to each and their own. SC is different to everyone, and in my opinion that's a good thing. As for a referral program, I defiantly agree with you , giving peeps in Identity 5k for every referral would be a ridiculously game braking idea. That's not what I am saying here. I just used that as a example, to be quite honest 5k in SC is nothing, your lucky to even fill up fuel for you small fighter ship with 5k, but its a little token of appreciation . That's what I meant for Identity a little something like maybe a piece of Apartment décor ( lamp, throw rug, wall pic) or maybe a in game t-shirt etc.... and it does not have to be for every referral it could be for 5 or 10 and then you get this 1 small item. It gives fans something to work towards (and compete against each other in a friendly way) while the game is still in development and in returns helps the Devs get the word out with out spending a lot of time and epically money on marketing .

@FanaticalLikeADemon Yeah, you will be able to redeem the stuff on 1 public server as they share a database and then on every private server because the private servers won't be on 1 database and will be separate.

The forums are a mess period. With only so many moderators, (Actually only 9 moderators, 5 of which are inactive!) To me this is absurd. Motown, the game dev only responds to very lucky few topics. Moderators themselves only respond every blue moon. Most moderators, don't even break up fights in the comments, or punish people who use offensive slang. We also need moderators to FACT CHECK which creates 70% of most confrontations on these forums! We need moderators who have a high community reputation, and post often! Please Devs! Give us more Moderators who can fact check us! One Day Later.. HairyGrenade (a mod) announces that they are doing an application for moderators, the inactive moderators were deleted, and new staff came aboard!

  36. 1 point
This is beyond amazing ! I recommend that all law enforcement interested players follow this example as guideline or template in setting up their RP Character! In addition to what Special Agent Zoey Anderson has already established I would also suggest writing a short story of how your character got to where they are! For example... The Tale of Lucious Times Lucious Lee Times (myself) is a character that grew up homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In a city of crime Lucious had to be on the lookout at every turn. In Lucious' young life he grew to be very aware of the crime filled city and knew he had to do something to ensure his safety. At 15, Lucious started an organization with a few neighborhood boys called "The Peacekeepers". These boys were brutal. They cleaned the streets of crime in the most direct ways possible. Showing up to criminal hideouts and wasting away every member present, making fake visits to prisons and jails to poison and eliminate those criminals on the inside, making appointments with the LAPD to let THEM know how things would be done. The Peacekeepers were vigilantes at the finest. The city soon had a crime rate so low new schools were being built and more people migrated to the lovely city of Los Angeles. Through all the harsh deeds The Peacekeepers had done Lucious never was present for the actual action. He was the mastermind, the planner, the brain of the whole operation. Sitting behind a desk as leader of The Peacekeepers. Oh how things looked great! Lucious had made something out of nothing and became a city icon and hero as he grew older. Though soon, things made a turn for the worst. Lucious' closest partner, his beautiful fiance was capture by a man known by the name Gustavo Fring. A now well-known high profile methamphetamine drug lord. He did so becuase by cleaning up the city Lucious' made distribution for Mr. Fring come to a complete stop in the area. Lucious grew furious, so furious he began to walk into a whole new light. The Peacekeepers became a weapon at Lucious' disposal. He thought long and hard and then finally had a plan. After finding where Fring was located Lucious and his team of over 200 men approached the location, guns loaded and ready for anything. However, Fring was already aware of Lucious' presence and decided to retaliate. Fring killed Lucious' fiance, then sent out total war upon Lucious and his men. In the end only two men were left standing; Fring and Lucious. After few words, Lucious caught leverage and killed Fring. Though Lucious was severly injured by gunshot. He called the LAPD. With quickness, Lucious was saved and had chance to speak with the LAPD Chief of Police. He thanked Lucious for his doings and after a long conversation of tears the chief left. Lucious began to realize how much he'd loss. All his men, his fiance, his hold on the city from crime all gone! Three weeks later Lucious walked out of the hospital, grab all $789,211 he'd raised with his people, and began to leave town for a new home. A place called Turtle Beach on Identity Island. However, when he got to the town line he found something waiting for him. Over half the city was standing their with gold-colored gold-scented candles. Some of them stood to give thanks, but many stood ready to follow him wherever he went. A woman by the name of Dorris Jean approached Lucious and told him this: "We give these candles to represent who you are to the city. Forever will you be the gold we all love, the gold we all know has provided, the gold we all know will pay the price. For to us you are a leader and friend. For you have become like royalty in this city. And with you royalty we be your royal family." Lucious was proud. All negative feelings previous washed away. Lucious now felt the obligation to continue to lead. For he knew he was wise and could give great leadership. This time he wouldn't limit himself to the leadership of a groups of boys who run a city, no. That was below him now. Now he needed to lead in higher heights where he could have greater impact and influence. A position of power such as Governor would do the trick! So he then decided to venture into the political field of leadership once he arrived in his new home. A few hours later after a celebratory evening Lucious and the now called Royal Family left. 12 days later they arrived in Turtle Beach on the Identity island and the rest is soon to be foretold...

@Deadman hit the nail on head! That's exactly where I was headed! In real life what you're saying is true, we would want to help them instead of place them in a worst position! However, the people playing the game are role playing with interest in being criminals for the fun of it and I can't allow that so...that's why the harshest exist!

Nice to meet you Agent Anderson! I'm not aware of whether you're religious or not, I wouldn't know that unless you confessed that information about yourself. I confess that I am religious and with that I believe that what you give you should be given in return, whether it's good or bad! You say to wrongs doesn't make a right and you are definitely correct, but to ME I don't see it as a wrong when the government corrects the individual by showing them how hurtful what they do can be! A man steals an $8,000 necklace your grandmother gave to you, he gets caught and is then thrown in prison where the government must care for him out of taxes you pay, and then after some time he's back out into the world again! To ME that's a waste of taxes and time! I say the government posseses items of the criminal equal to the value of the stolen property and grant that to the victim on top of having her stolen property returned! That's fair, I don't see it as wrong when the government is making things fair! I feel placing someone in prison on tax dollars and then releasing them is wrong! That's just my opinion, but how do you feel about that?

Well I'm giving my opinion on how public servers should be run, it's up to the devs but I can still give my opinion. And regardless of rules, the amount of murders will always be high compared to real life because it's a video game. Besides, there needs to be one or two shootouts a day on a server because it's a video game and even the cops want to have fun and have an opportunity to shoot bad guys sometimes.
