4 pointsWith 5,000 we could host actual community gatherings. Business would actually have uses. Theaters would be packed for the latest movie release. It would feel like a living breathing world. I think 5,000 people would be amazing and actually a whole lot of fun.
-
3 pointsA larger map for 1,000 individuals should not be an issue as long as it involves increasing the size of the cities considering that the cities are specifically intended for the purposes of increasing social interaction within the game.
-
3 pointsTo be honest I would love to see a bigger map with a more dense forest and bigger cities to explore. If possible an actual city with skyscrapers and a whole lot to do.
-
2 pointsCertain societies, such as the Amish or Mennonite communities, tend to prefer to reside within the agricultural era rather than the industrial era. In the process, an extensive amount of "cowboy"-minded individuals would prefer to travel on a horse or a pick-up truck. Finally, Law enforcement officers, such as The Royal Canadian Mountain Police, often ride throughout numerous towns and cities on horses. Thus, it would appear to be an interesting idea if players could possess the option and ability to travel throughout the land on a horse rather than an automobile. However, players shall be expected to provide the horse with food, shelter, training, and nurture in order to ensure that the horse fulfills it's role. Imagine a local farmer that decides to invest in a horse in order to visit the local town or city while traveling through terrain that exceeds beyond a road, such as a field. Critique: It would be abnormal for players to travel through an urbanized city on a horse. Response: Not at all, Mennonites and the R.C.M.P. travel through urban cities in order to either purchase materials or patrol neighborhoods.

2 pointsI'd love to have traffic, it would be so great having rp based around being late for work etc etc
-
2 pointsYah, I think with spatialos they may make the map bigger, which would probably decrease the chances of high traffic. However, if you think about it, not everyone will be using cars, as you said there will be some people who take the train! Also, there could be people who walk/bike everywhere so that will definitely decrease traffic. I understand the concern, but if you take into account 3 major cities, and still an entire island, I don't think everyone will all be in the same place at the same time, so hopefully that'll help as far as traffic and lag goes! Maybe they'll have a carpool lane, and encourage users to drive together, who knows!
-
2 pointsI heard something about the devs making the map bigger because of more players, but can't give a source. I think there are going to be traffic jams too, especially the highways to the cities. But if you really don't want to be in a traffic jam, you can always use the train!

2 pointsYeah if there was 3-5k or more in a server, and it ran well, would definatley make up for the no AI walking the streets, i would actually feel like im in a city, not a ghost town with dickheads screaming at each other here and there. I suppose a bigger map is needed, but not too big to where its not as dense, but put bigger residential areas and shit, i guess either way alot of people are going to stay in the major city anyway, going to be really good for gang turf wars, and police response and what not aswell, hopefully the economy will be booomin, products always listed, should be much better then 300 slots, i just hope it doesnt turn out to be like second life lol, ive seen cancer vids on that shit.

2 pointsWell you could ask in another thread is another answer but also Explain yourself with why your making a post on it and it will make more sense to people. They have a good point about using the search bar because it is clustering the forum and on the guidelines it sort of asks people to search so that the search is easier to use to find things but if one like yourself makes more posts about the same sort of subject then it will make it more difficult to find things on the search function. Minimum requirements will likely / could possibly be the minimum specs of ArmA 3, GTA V or ARK although this would be very hard to say given that the game is very early in development still.

1 pointHi guys, my name is Jeff. J/K, how are you guys doing, my name is Zoex, I am 18 years old. I am an Administrator for Asylum Entertainment's "Altis Life" mission file on Arma 3 for quite a while now, I've got hooked to that server Almost 3 years, august 11th 2014. (http://www.gaming-asylum.com/forums/index.php?/profile/77-zoex/) I have 7k hours spent into the Arma Series, and I'm hoping to find this game even more fun! Joining the Military next week, so my PC time will reduce substantially, yet I can't wait for Identity's release. Anyways, I thought I'd come by and say hi, I have high expectations for this game, you better fulfil them. (I'm looking at you @Motown ) Have a great day, -Zoex P.S- @Olio showers with a swimsuit on.
-
1 pointPlease dont make the map bigger only because of SpatialOS. I've been very glad to hear that identity can handle probably thousands of players on one server but I think a map size of 200 square km is perfect for 500-2000 players and it should not be bigger than that because if you make the map too big it would need too long to find other players and that would be boring. Specially in the cities it's important to have a very high player density to give us the feeling to be in a big city and to make much roleplay with many people taking part.
-
1 pointIn all honesty, it was a direct reference to the criminal within Criminal Minds, hahaha.
-
1 pointYour character sounds a lot like one of the criminals from a Criminal Minds episode! Hopefully, you've seen that show before, if not, then just ignore this
-
1 pointWelcome Apocabear! This game definitely has a hook on you with the concepts the devs have created. I am sure they will suck the life from you once they release the Town Square module

-
1 pointI would love traffic jams! Plenty of RP opportunities, including road rage, and more car accidents!
-
1 pointIndeed, my secondary character intends to function as a bandit that resides within the forest with a "cowboy-like" mentality. Imagine, chasing a vulnerable citizen on a horse with either a machete, shotgun, or revolver within an abandoned forest prior to roleplaying the idea that the carcass was fed to the pigs within the ranch.
-
1 pointI think it will be great being in traffic xD, well I will love it because it will make my job more interesting
-
1 pointWhen the game releases my character will be me. I'm not sure about the career I will choose but I am sure of the type of person I will be. I'll be a kind and generous person offering help to those who need it and that's what'd matter to me. In most games they don't offer you this, but Identity does, they let you pick everything about yourself and it's whether you live up to your actions which will define you.
-
1 pointIt would probably involve serving the maximum sentence considering that one's act of terrorism would involve harming a massive amount of citizens.
-
1 pointI totally agree, Just Cause 3 for example would have been a better game if the cities and towns were bigger. After all, what's the point of a big map if it's mostly wasteland?
-
1 pointThat would possibly be a rough guideline for official servers but it could well be a lot longer on private servers.
-
1 pointNo, moderators do that. I may be on like it being 24/7 but I am not a moderator and well some of the moderators do just browse every other day or everyday but not post. It is very hard to find professional volunteers who will be on as much as me and well I don't want to commit to anything right now myself.
-
1 pointI think they should up the map size to a max of 1002 Miles which is roughly 258 Km2 which will be a big enough expansion of the map size and then the population could be possibly be good at any amount but not too low and not too high. I have no clue why I picked that 1002 Miles but I think it might be just to even up the number and well any number of players will be good as long as it is evened out with density of communities. 5000 players in one server could bring so many possibilities with RP that 300 could not give for example traffic jams.
-
1 pointHmm, I just got to say the moderators do have a life and also are voluntary staff. They also are moderators who moderator the "Altis Life" made by the "Asylum main devs". If you think that you have enough time and a life to respond 24/7 to questions on the forum then ok you can prove it done but you can't do it 24/7 with a life and not get paid for it. If you really think you are willing to give up your life to answer questions then I think you are mistaken about yourself because I doubt you would, but only you know what you would do. I do have the time to do it everyday to an extent like these ones we have!
-
1 pointThe game should consist of a combination of Ebay/Craigslist AND Live Physical Auctions that exceed beyond the internet.
-
1 pointDigging Deeper Massive & detailed world Identity takes place in a fictional land in the eastern United States, inspired primarily by the Carolinas and Georgia. The chosen location allows for a huge variety in terrain and environments. You'll encounter dirty cities, beautiful beaches and farmland, snow-capped mountains and everything in between. All of these areas are inspired by real locations in the United States, resulting in one of the most believeable and immersive worlds found in any video game. Traveling throughout the land on foot could take a long time, so you'll find highways, roads and trails to help you along. For those who haven't purchased a vehicle or bicycle, train stations are located throughout the land. The initial world size is expected to be an enormous 200 km2.
-
1 pointthe 200km2 is actually the correct one until they say otherwise ( even though they mentioned potential bigger map)

1 pointI am a big car lover and i need to share my thoughts because this game is wickard.the things that could come in with cars id love you see is good realistic customization such asa nice turbo and lowering springs rather than big machine guns hanging off the side. i would love you see some street style cars such as RWD nissan ect. having big noisey mufflers, fuel, and parts on the car wear out over time would be awesome. such as dirty air filter, spark plug leads buggering out. this brings in a mechanic job, but not every one want to be a mechanicso im sure you will not need to be a paid mechanic to fix your car. as well as a gas station, if no one is working at the gas station, use your bank card. this brings in bank account, i would love to see your income get put in your bank rather than magically appearing in your inventory an so on. another thing about this that should be in GTA, ( but we're not here to talk about that game, this game is going to be better) is interest. if you have money in your bank, you should earn a little interest on it. back to the cars. i would love you have nice blow off valve noises and al most every part on the car intractable, ( whilst in a garage an so on) so when the tires are low on health ( Tred ) or the spark plugs are getting tired and dirty, you can remove them and buy the part to replace it. now i know this is a lot to ask and put in the game etc, but at least having fuel and tire ware would be cool. as one of the first things ill be doing is driving erraticly. you can check this stuff out on the . Car Mechanic Simulator. good game witch brings me to another thing. Speed, Red lights, Loss of traction, maby even warrent of fitness and rego. so the police will be able to pull you over and have a check on your car, and if they see you go through a red light, it would trigger an allowence for the police to issue a ticket or somthing. this would be the coolest thing about the cars. kinda like mafia, ( red lights etc no speeding ) but the police will have to see you do it. but we cant have police speeding around town so they should have somthing within there job such as bad behaviour. where they get suspended or somthing. seams as ive heard you cant go round killing people how ever, ( witch i think is really good ) the driving in the game can be a real crime interactive thing, as it is in real life. thank you if you have had the time to read this. i will have ideas popping up all the time witch could have me writting forever but ill end it here. thankyou
-
1 pointwhat if people use the search bar and find other topics that only say use the search bar?
-
1 pointYes, The devs will keep updating the game frequently after full game release as well as things will be added as they go with the modules.
-
1 pointThen don't fly, don't ruin it for others who like the idea or the act of flying as a passenger. If you don't like it drive, don't sh*t on the possibility just because you aren't as fond.
-
1 pointDid you not read the OP? They can work around the map feeling small, and they're also increasing the size of the map. Even more reason for the idea.
-
1 pointI did what he potentially asked and I quote it; "if you took the time to search". So I explained myself and did what he asked me to do, giving my results of what he could not find. Also I never retaliated with telling him to "stfu" because I knew I could prove him wrong on searching.
-
1 pointI just hope that as new backers donate to this game they send out that email as well, because i would of never known of the progress if it wasn't for others posting the email they received and i am currently a donator as well, i only donated after the fact though.
-
1 pointWow I didn't think there'd be so many males Since I'll be role playing as myself I'll be female, and maybe once there's more players and the game is more well known there'll be a more even number of each gender
-
1 pointSince "Identity" is a player-based game, players shall be capable of engaging in contract agreements with other companies and/or consumers in order to perform within their venue or event. For example, one could perform within a restaurant, birthday party, or a massive stage within a concert in order to accumulate wealth. Finally, subjects are capable of producing and distributing their records or CDs within the market in order to accumulate profit.

1 pointvoice chat wont stop you from playing female lol, it will just be a boner killer. you can still however play the female character if you wish
-
1 pointthis would be a excellent idea... that is why i would love to have a knock off ebay auction website to maybe possibly throw these rare items on the website would be pretty cool to make some extra coin for ones pocket.....
-
1 pointIt would be interesting if players could produce their own films within the real world prior to requesting to play their movies within the theater. For example, one section within the "major theater" could consist of "home-made films". In the process, companies and political parties should be capable of purchasing advertising time PRIOR to the beginning of the film. For example, the intro-screen could consist of a few advertisements before the film begins.
-
1 pointDetectives exist to look at the evidence, get witness statements, and present a case to prosecutors. But even then it's not a foolproof system. If a case can not be built to bring a suspect under prosecution, then yes they'd get away with it. I do wonder if detectives will get a automatic notification of someone who was killed though, or if the body has to wait for someone to discover it. If the body has to wait for someone to discover it, I wonder how effective the system will be, as many players just want to focus on doing their own thing.

1 pointIdentity Forum Guidelines Last Edit: July 9th, 2018 Participation in the Official Identity forums constitutes agreement to the following guidelines, which apply to posts, profile information, avatars, signatures, private messaging, and any other content on this site and participation in general. The live nature of discussions in this community makes it difficult for staff to catch every violation of these rules. If you believe that someone has violated our User Guidelines, please send a private message to a member of our volunteer moderation team or staff with a link to the content and a brief description of what you believe is wrong. Please do not respond to a violation personally, as you may aggravate the situation and possibly violate our guidelines yourself. Any content that violates our User Guidelines will be removed. Interpretation of our guidelines is at the discretion of the staff. Please do 1. Report violations of the forum rules. Moderators will quickly review reports and make decisions based on the information you provide. 2. Respect others. Showing respect will encourage others to participate in discussion. 3. Like posts, that you feel contribute useful information to a discussion. 4. Read the rules, so that you do not accidentally receive an infraction or ban. 5. Be constructive. Help others by answering questions, and offer feedback to their ideas. 6. Read before posting. Fully Comprehend the topic of discussion and determine what has already been discussed. 7. Use proper grammar and spelling. Read your post before submitting. Spelling mistakes may attract attention away from the discussion. 8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for! Please don’t 1. Troll. Trolling does not contribute to meaningful discussion. 2. Spam. Spamming clutters the forum and makes it difficult to find original content. 3. Flame, or attack others. Insults do not contribute to discussion, and will be removed. 4. Repost Deleted Content. Content that was deleted was removed for a reason, even if the reason is unclear. 5. Demonstrate or perpetuate toxic behavior. A user is considered toxic if they repeatedly make defamatory, threatening, insulting, or otherwise hateful remarks toward other users or staff. Please keep language civil when expressing your opinions. 6. Advertise websites or services unrelated to Identity. We do not sell advertising space on the Identity forums. 7. Cross Post. Cross-posting makes it difficult for users using the search function to find relevant information, and may be considered spam. 8. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. 9. Abuse reports. Reporting content with blank or inaccurate report descriptions will hinder a moderator's capacity to help. Please report content that is in violation of the rules, and not simply because you personally dislike another user. 10. Engage rule violators. You may accidentally violate these rules yourself by responding to others that you feel aren’t following these guidelines. 11. Make low-effort posts. Contribute useful information to the discussion, and avoid going off-topic. 12. Discuss Politics/Religion. These subjects are sensitive and may offend others. (There is a small place for fantasy politics within Identity's ecosystem. The Governor position will be able to tweak small settings within the game world, and must compete against others for power. The political systems within Identity are simplified and do not accurately reflect the processes involved with political discourse in the real world. Players may implicitly take inspiration from existing candidates or parties, but must not show any connections to real world politics through the use of logos/symbols, names (of existing leaders, existing parties, or of those within recent history), or slogans. By affiliating your party with a real world political faction, you are bringing such politics into discussion and grabbing the attention of those who recognize it. Real world politics typically invoke a strong emotional response in some viewers and can lead to vehement conflicts extremely quickly.) 13. Create multiple accounts. Only one account per person is authorized, so forum users can be easily identified. Avoiding a ban may result in further permanent action. 14. Operate a shared account. Sharing an account with another user will make conversation difficult should any of the account operators share a difference in opinion. Conflicting statements will impede our ability to help assist any single user on a shared account. Due to this, we request that each account is operated by a single, separate user. 15. Create forum posts that mention specific users in the title. Creating a new topic with the title specifically mentioning another user isn’t conducive to group discussion, especially if the targeted user isn’t comfortable responding in an open format. (For example, don’t make posts like “@usernamehere, why is x and not y?”) If you’re asking a question directly to another user, please do so using the inbox function on the forums. 16. Post Personal Information, or post links containing personal information. Sharing information about others can be harmful to their real-life. 17. Use forum features in unintended ways. Asking for likes, or making a game that incorporates the like/follow buttons artificially inflates user forum stats, making it difficult for other users to determine which content or user is contributing popular content to the site. 18. Discuss Moderator or Administrator actions Publicly. There are often reasons why a decision is made by a moderator or administrator that may be unclear to outside-parties, and off-topic discussion about an admin or moderator decision may be disruptive to a conversation. We politely ask that you trust and respect decisions made by staff. If you have an issue with a specific staff member, please report the matter to a Community Manager. 19. Impersonate Asylum Entertainment Staff or Moderators. When users seek assistance from moderators or Asylum staff, they shouldn't need to worry about encountering the possibility of dealing with an impostor. Always heed the official titles for staff roles on both the forums and discord to help avoid confusion. 20. Intentionally Spread False Information. Spreading rumors you know are falsified and portraying them as fact will only complicate Identity's development and serves to derail the actual constructive criticism offered by other users. Even accidentally giving out false information can be dangerous, so please ask a staff member or reference official statements (Dev Blogs for example). 21. Post or link to illegal, dangerous, offensive or NSFW content. Do not engage in activities that include (but are not limited to) the sharing of sexually explicit content, piracy, malicious code execution (viruses, malware, spyware etc.), gore. Please keep posts pertaining to the M-rated content in Identity reasonable. 22. Create or operate an account with the intention of solely boosting or supporting another user's reputation, poll votes, or opinions. We ask that all users contribute to the forums in ways that don't simply perpetuate someone else's particular viewpoint or account statistics. ***Moderators and staff have the final say on all matters. If you would like to report moderator abuse, contact a Community Manager directly. Creating public threads or posts that question or reference administrative decisions or potential administrative decisions is not permitted.*** ***Freedom of speech rights do not extend to privately owned websites, such as this one. These guidelines detail the types of behavior and activities that are allowed here.*** ***We reserve the right to deactivate any account and to edit or remove any content without warning. These guidelines are subject to change at any time without notice.*** ***If you have a question or suggestion about our User Guidelines, please do not hesitate to contact a moderator or admin and we will be glad to help in any way that we can.*** 3bdullah alzmeeeleee 6ree8 jbbbh #7mod mf95
