I didn't see if this was on here but my idea is to minimize RDM. Let's say the karma stat scales from -1000 to +1000, and everyone starts at +100 karma. (numbers are examples) There's going to be people who will kill on sight for fun and like to be chased by cops. This system is to stop trolls from doing it all the time, not allow serial killers to play paintball, enter the cinema, not allowing them to enter public places if his/her karma is low enough. I'm not sure if there is a supreme court type system, if there is, then the judge will determine how severe the crime was, and will sentence the criminal to jail and lowering the persons karma. That's where jail time comes in, lower your karma the longer you stay in jail (if caught). That's why there are activities in jail to keep you occupied until time is served. Just like real life, committing multiple crimes result in longer jail time, a murder can be 25 years to life, robbing a store or bank can be around 10 years. The person who served time, his/her karma stat will reset to 0 at the end. Losing karma would be easier than gaining karma, hopefully this will have people stop and think before doing something illegal. The karma system can be more complex if you allow it, next to your personal karma stat, there is a karma stat for the groups/factions gangs, police, civilian. If you do stuff for the group you join, you'll gain karma which will unlock skills or perks. This could be explained more but I'm short on time so I will leave it at that, I made this post before but it said I wasn't allowed to post (think I wasn't logged in) and I explained more. Then it deleted everything I said. lol

    1. I'm sorry but: Maybe you wanna rewrite this post because it's hard to understand what your trying to say. 2. Identity is trying to give you the most reallistic experiance posible. As a police Officer you will perform Traffic Stops on a regular base. If you run a person on your RMS (Record Managment System) you will be able to see: Name, Adresse and other Information like: Warrants, Criminal Record and more. Police Officers wound just know that your a Criminal by looking at you. 3. If I wasn't able to awsner your question please read these Post and maybe Watch these Videos: -Noe Rock

why do i keep coming at you like that? lol probably because you advertise your organization on other groups threads, its like going into another communities server, and stealing their pop by promoting your server, its disrespectful, and it gives you a bad rep.

You didn't search when you posted that 18+ post because that has all been mentioned on here before. So take your own advice.

by "do all of this!" you mean create really bland and non detailed threads regarding a 'huge' criminal organization with no backstory what so ever, and probably wont last till the game release? mhm tempting!

Very much indeed! This is a game that is trying to reach realism to its extent. But there's one thing... I can't see why you would want to walk off the side of a cliff. That sounds like the easy root out of a situation

Games get delayed for the better not for the worse! The game is being created by a small team and well the timeline which they gave was optimistic I think as it was not do-able as games of this size take at least 3 years to perfect with a small team. The devs recently hired another full time dev which so the progress for the first module is moving forward but the progress bar is manually updated and that is only done when the devs feel they have hit a milestone in development progress towards the module. Be patient as games come better when you take the time in the development and well rushing a game makes the games *shit*. The more delays, are for the better even if we don't get it for a long time as it just shows they are perfecting the game more. I know it looks like it is a scam that way but if you have faith then you will not regret it when they do release. As it was said above, Module 1 is set to release soon.
  10. 2 points
There is a problem with that. You need permissions to enter and specific permissions to move stuff. You cannot even have a gun in your hands when in the house to shoot it. It is a safe zone pretty much and the devs will not change that.

Howdy Kracken. Ive been a police officer since getting out of the Marines in 2003. Maybe I can help you teach these eager young whelps a thing of two. Welcome aboard. What the hell is wrong with you? You don't ask questions like that to people who have actually made a difference with their lives.

Hey Guys, I thought I would share with you a little guide I designed a few years ago for businesses in Arma 3 Life. It's a simple business model that worked pretty well. It's more or less an algorithm for any business you choose to make. It allows for your employees to be paid, and will minimize them breaking off for sole profit. It is purposely written so that anyone can understand. --------------- Business Model System This is the business model system for maximum efficiency for any business. This model uses a percentage based pay and is designed to be easily modified and easily implemented. Here is the Key for the following guide: A- Overhead (This is the money you need to cover your expenses) B- Profit (This is the money you make after your initial investment has been covered) C- Employee Payroll (This is the money for you to pay your employees) D- Investors Payroll (This is the money to pay your investors) ----------------- Generally speaking you need to arrange all of your investors payroll and your employee payroll to only come from your profits. It is important to remember what your total investment is, your profit, and your payroll. Be sure that you keep an eye on your finances. This is an example of the business model: Your total Overhead (A) is $1000 You have one investor, who has invested $1000 into your business in exchange for 5% of your profit (B). This places a $20,000 valuation on your company. You have one employee plus yourself. Your employees and investors make 5% of your profits. From 100% of your profit (B), you now owe 10%, which leaves you with 90% of your profit. Your profit is $5000. This means that $250 goes to your investor, $250 goes to your employees. 90% of your profit or $4500 is now left over. You invest $2000 into your Overhead this time. You have the same amount of investors. Your company's valuation is still only $20,000. You have gained another employee plus yourself. You have banked $2500. If your profit from a $1000 investment was $5000, this means you made $6000 from the total investment. In turn you expect to make double because of your investment of $2000. This puts you at a $10,000 profit. 5% of $10,000 is $500. You pay your employees $500 and your investor $500. This leaves you with a total of $9000 profit. This algorithm is a progressive system. You do not have to pay any specific percentage, I was simply explaining the math with the easy percentages. ---------------- Q: Why would someone work for me, if they could make the same amount as me? A: Your employee pays no overhead, he uses your equipment, he uses your services, he uses your resources. He has no risk involved. If he is robbed, it is not his money he is losing. (Or She). Also, your employee will scale with more employees and more profit. Whereas if he were to do it all on his own, he would make the same singular profit without the ability to scale, unless he were to create his own company. (Or She). Not to mention, you could promote the employee to making more of a percentage. Q: Why not split the profits evenly? A: You can do that! Except you do need to take out your next expenses before dividing up the profit. Always cover your next venture. Q: Why bank the money? A: The reason for banking your money is insurance. If you are robbed, or an expensive piece of equipment is lost, stolen, or broken, you need to be able to cover those expenses. You pay yourself, the same amount as you pay your employees. You bank the remainder for upgrades and incidentals. Q: Is this the only system that works? A: Heavens no. There are many different systems that work, this is just an easy one to start with until you get your feet wet. ----------------------- Should you have any questions, or anything you would like to add to this guide (Business Model) please reply and leave a comment.

From this day to the ending of the world, but we in it shall be remember'd; We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother. IDENTITY WIKI INFORMATION ON APACHES MOTORCYCLE CLUB BIO: Apaches MC is a motorcycle club founded in Chicago, Illinois. The whole foundation is said to begun in the late 60's like many other clubs, It is said that the founders were members of the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion which saw many combat missions during 1966. Following their return home, the men sought after the brotherhood in the war, they found common interests which was drinking, girls and riding harleys. The small group looked for ways to sustain their new lifestyle. In the beginning, it was small white collar crimes, but with the expansion of the club, came dirtier jobs and bigger payouts. After a few months of gradually moving into the narcotic and weapon scene, the club started to get more and more comfortable with the easy money, and started opening up new chapters all over the north east and south western United States. The founder of Apaches MC, is Sergeant first class James Carter who was drafted into the Vietnam war in early 1965. He spent two tours fighting in operation Kansas and operation Washington in 1966 and later fought in 1967. Upon returning home in 1968, he founded Apache's Motorcycle Club in his home town of northern Chicago, with his closest tight nit group of friends from his squad. Later in 1970, a new chapter of Apache's was born in the eastern side of Chicago, both were very feared chapters who partied and lived together on a daily basis. The Apaches MC are well known to be vicious when fighting, like that of their Native American counterpart. A well known story of that is between a rival club the Chicago Horsemen MC in the mid 1970's, where several Apache's set up a string of tire wire across the road efficiently killing two oncoming rival club members. The remaining Horsemen ended up crashing, and were succumb to Apaches waiting on the side with bats and wrenches, and they were ultimately beaten to death. The Apaches MC is only known to the majority of the public, as being bunch of Harley enthusiasts. To the law enforcement and other criminal organizations they are known as the most ruthless gangs to still live in today's society. They have three main goals, money, power and turf. Joining the Apaches isn't easy, they are small, and ultra secretive, about 300-400 strong, spread across 6 states, this ruthless gang doesn't warm up to outsiders. Recently opening up a chapter in Roseport, the motorcycle club intends on taking over Identity. Bylaws: - Respect other members, and their families, if someone asks for help then help them, we are all family. - Members call each other ' brother '. - No woman can be patched in, they can only be a members 'old lady' - Do your best to attend our weekly main church, if you cannot, give us your proxy vote. It will be brought up to the whole club and the whole club will participate in anything that is decided upon. - The club will always stay together on rides, runs, parties, field meets etc. and will not fraternize with club's rival clubs. - Each patch holder/prospect is required to maintain a valid motor vehicle license, which includes the authorization to operate motorcycle. - Absolutely no talking about Club business to persons outside the Club. The High Society is a cannabis growing organisation I am the Vice President of this organisation. We plan too become one of the biggest, reliable, professional cannabis growing business we plan to be a more high end "weed dealer" as some of you might know it as. We are currently partnered with The Royal Family, the royal family is another organisation that plans to be in government. With them in government they have agreed to make weed legal helping us out in the long run with money and not having tom have the cops on our heels all the time. Anyways the reason im here is because The High Society has some openings, I currently do not have a whole list of these openings but they should include stuff like marijuana growers, and some business men/women to help with our deals and transactions. I will have the full list of open positions soon after speaking with the CEO/president of The High Society. If you are interested in one of these positions please submit a comment, please include some information and what role you would like.

Yes, it will be playable. First of all guns will not be easily obtainable as they will be expensive and assault rifles are rare and even harder to get. No Explosives in the game which means no need to worry about those RPG's. There will be a system to stop people going and gunning down every player they see. (Official servers) The system can be controlled for private servers.

I was just trying to help him out, why you gotta keep coming at me like that Narc?

Imagine the real world, the general functionality that is our society. Now imagine bringing that to a virtual world; IDENTITY. Of course though these individuals are sitting behind the comfort of their own computer screen.. there isn't necessarily any real fear for loss of life or assets or even time in prison; You can't always guarantee someone's not going to ruin your immersion or overall be a dumb ass and break obvious rules that don't make sense in any real world implications. This is why I strongly believe a good balance in terms of the repercussions that come with certain ramifications that led to your inevitable per say crime or even death would require a sort of stat lost (something players care about) to improve the overall quality of role-play for that server and player; Perhaps certain server's will only accept player's with a certain rating. Honestly, I envision a statistics system that logs a server's average crime/business/kills/life-spans/faction-balance/wrecks/wealth/etc and general player initialized star rating to determine server's with an "excellent/fair/modest/poor" role-play rating via server list. This will help those whom are searching for a quality role-play community find one based on that communities provided statistics (quality) of that server.

i dont think its possible to put a program like blender in a game, and even if it was possible, there would be no point to it, if you want to rig and animate models or model them, then you do them on their suited programs like a normal person does, this is stupid if its going to determine whether you by the game or not. Looks like you wont be buying the game anyway. pce.

It would also be quite interesting to see how your loudness effects your AREA's hearing. Like, seeing as it sounds as though a current map/radar only applies to the phone, it might also be good to have it to where speaking quieter when raiding a building may also benefit something like being disclosed in cover, or shadowy spaces.

If you buy the founder package, which is the 30$ one, you're basically paying for access to the 3 modules, the beta, and the full game. Even if you just buy the 15$ citizen package, you still get access to the full game once its released. So once you buy any package, you don't have to buy the full game again! Also, Identity isn't a play to win game, so you couldn't pay real life money to get in game money to then buy things like a house or car. So yah, you can just get a simple job and make an honest living ! * I didn't realize this was a double post so disregard this

I want to start a discussion of a different kind. But let me explain why: I have been a Member of this community since december 2016. I have met many friendly people from around the world here. Most of the people here are very friendly, answering questions and so on. I am from germany and i have not often seen such a friendly community. (In my oppionion many german communities are bad with toxic members, everyone want to be the best. Maybe some germans can relate.) But the Subreddit of Identity (i know its not official) is realy bad. I try to help people there every now and then but it seems that the follower und visitors of the subreddit there are mainly toxic people. For example this guy who asked today when the module will be released. It's sad and funny at the same moment. Or this guy here who complained about the lack of released content for the game : https://www.reddit.com/r/IdentityMMO/comments/5xsg9o/im_really_in_love_with_this_idea_of_a_game_but/ (Just a link, i don't want such big screenshots) These are only 2 examples and i hardly want to know: Whats going on with the internet novadays? Why are the people toxic even i try to help in the subreddit? Is it cause its Reddit? Is it cause i'm getting to old? Did i do something wrong or are so people just idiots? Why is the forum so nice and the subreddit so extremely bad?
