Here's an idea: Perhaps you could purchase a vehicle (depending on which car you purchase) for cheaper and then upgrade the car overtime (or at once, depending on your wealth). Then you can sell your car for more. More people will be most likely attracted to a car that is completely upgraded. It's less work for them and more wealth for you! It's a win win.

Hey Narc, The rewards will be a 1 time use on a official servers as they will be linked and so it will be activated on all official servers 1 time not 1 time per server but Only once. e.g. I get 2k only not 2k times on x servers. (Makes sense?) On private servers, you will only be able to activate the rewards 1 time per each different server because they are not linked together. back to official servers: If you decorate your apartment in server 1 and then want to start over on server 2, the edits you did on server 1 in the apartment will not carry over to server 2 and there for you have to re-do it.

Hello, I am Honeybadger - and I don't give a .... Well, you know it goes. I have been a part of the gaming community for over a decade across every genre of game there is. I tend to focus mainly on the competitive scene and team-oriented play so I know what it takes to participate in, and lead, a large group to a successful outcome. My current job allows me to play at work, so I will be able to play around 60+ hours a week or at the very least be available when needed. This provides me an excellent opportunity to not only take on a leadership role, but to also stay in the top % of players that you don't want to mess with. I have about 7 friends (so far) confirmed that will be joining me in this game from previous ones, with more to come closer to launch I'm sure. We will go in with a solid foundation and are looking for other similarly minded and skilled players to hop on board now to help drive this massive engine! With that being said - what I would like to attempt in this game is to form a sort of conglomerate that is advantageous to everyone involved. Our goals and mission will likely change on a monthly basis contingent on our biggest needs at that time, for example ; We have multiple store owners but not enough trucking companies to provide cheap and timely services so our mission for that month will be to absorb / buyout trucking companies that will operate within our conglomerate. Obviously I can not build and direct this massive engine on my own, so advisers will be appointed to help guide and discuss the appropriate paths for the "clan" to take that will be beneficial to everyone as a whole. The current projected server capacity is 300 people. Our goal is to achieve at least 150 members of various occupations (mostly consisting of large businesses) thus allowing us to control the flow of the environment around us. Having server majority would enable us to appoint politicians of our choosing as well as secure a larger safety blanket for those operating somewhat outside of the law within our organization. What we are looking for - Advisers (Clan Officers) - Advisers will likely be players interested in the business owner and political career paths. People who are savvy at seeing the big picture and able to collectively discuss the appropriate paths and decisions the clan should make. This role will function as our own mini-government carving out the direction of our conglomerate as a group. Other jobs will include things such as organizing events, recruiting, keeping people in line etc, deciding which businesses to start / absorb. They will be respected members of our society. So getting in line early to be the company we endorse would be beneficial to you. Other companies such as trucking companies or mining companies we could afford to have more of as those are general production and revenue streams that don't necessarily need to worry about rivals as the discounts and profits can be shared by all. Equally important to us as business owners, are the employees. Perhaps you just want to lead a casual life with good pay minus the hassle of running a company yourself, even if undecided - our conglomerate will potentially be able to offer a large variety of jobs for you to work at exceptionally higher pay rates and advantages than you can expect almost anywhere else. How will Politics work? - Do you want to be a Governor? Perhaps a judge, or a conglomerate Lawyer? Our massive engine will allow us the numbers to appoint the appropriate people into these positions. You can expect this position to earn an extra "clan salary" on top of its job pay. Job functions will include things such as forming and passing laws that benefit The Neighborhood (which will also benefit the majority), giving leniency to players in our organization as well as condemning rivals and keeping our players out of jail whenever possible. Corrupt-ish, but outside of the advantages you receive from our business discounts, extra salary, and our numbers provided to appoint you - It's just kind of the way of the world. We will definitely take care of our loyal Politicians. How will the Mafia work? - Frank is the leader of The Luprano Family - The Neighborhood will act as a safe haven for his gang and allow them to operate cheaply and safely on our (very efficient / high traffic) store fronts. Gangs can expect to benefit from our business discounts as well as operate under our safety net of paid off politicians and policemen as well as aid in the riddance of rival gangs for total dominance. Together we will ensure that they are the largest mafia, and we are the largest business force that they themselves also have a vested interest in. Private Military - What is a small town without it's own small Army? I'm not entirely sure how this role will function yet, but you can expect this position to be an extra salary on top of your current job and current clan role. Members of our private military will receive priority access to cheap weapons, and any combat gear / training provided in the game to form a stronger military. They will function as our protection blanket to protect our businesses if / when need be and fend off rival gangs etc. As the President of the conglomerate I will be in charge of running the military and it's funding. On the left we have the money makers and on the right we have the money costers, separated by a large X in the middle. Ideally the profit margin is so large on the makes money side, that the costs money side pays for itself through investments. The hierarchy for each segment is broken down above. Each member of our organization will represent at least one of these segments. Each segment will have it's own separate treasury operated by the Directors of that segment. They will be known as the advisers, who will gather once a week or so to discuss their treasuries and next lucrative business deals / investments.. If all 4 of these segments are investing in the same things, it will expedite the production of our businesses and accelerate their rate of earning income. All treasury invested money will return to the treasury for that segment to either invest in the next business deal - or invest in their particular segment as seen fit by the directors. Members will contribute to their segment through a (yet to be determined) tax % sort of thing. The taxes will come from investments, basically the opportunity to invest in a company that's guaranteed to succeed. For example - If you're a member of the Mafia and you contribute 5% towards the investment of our new startup building, you as a player will receive 4% of that income and the segment you work in (Mafia) will receive 1% of that into their treasury. If you're a business owner or employee and invest 5% into a new drug trade the Mafia wants to take on, you will receive 4% of the profits and the Business segment will receive 1% of what you invested as profit. If 3 members invest 5% from a segment, that segment will receive 1% 3 times. Over time players and segments will be accruing profit from not only their companies, but the success of many others. Segment treasuries can be used to fund things like the remaining % of investment required to start up our next company, the combined funding of wars if needed, the self improvement of their business, or even just sit on it for a rainy day. The functionality of the mafia and politicians will ideally work in a scenario where the cost of their services is replaced by the amount of advantages received through cooperating and investing with us. If the Mafia maintains 25% worth of investments in our companies, then our companies success will also hinder on their ability to protect it and drive out competition. In the same respect the Mafia will have the security of the largest corporate backers in the game, as well as the ability to open their own businesses under our brand and through our investment support system. The mass production and shipment of drugs early on may be one of the most profitable trades we end up having, and with our help they would surely be on top of it faster than anyone else. Politicians will simply be paid for what they can accomplish, most of this branch will consist of investors - Since our industry will be large, creating and passing laws that benefit us is by happen-stance also beneficial to the majority of players in our server since we will control the majority. Politicians will receive access to our campaign support, ability to invest in our profitable trade market, ability to start up their own companies within it etc.. The best explanation I can give is to think of it as the biggest HOA community in town, except on a larger scale. It's a conglomerate of multiple large companies working together and providing the advantages that each one has to offer such as discounts, efficient trade, large pool of combined resources while also providing the cooperation of politicians and security of private military and possibly even gang turf. At the start we will want 1 company of a different NECESSARY profitable trade (1 farm, 1 mine, 1 casino, 1 trucking company so on and so forth) so that we may build them up to be the biggest game in town as well as shut down opposing factions if / when need be, just through sheer numbers and a proper support system. The crime rate is going to be ridiculously high. I'll permit each household to have either one shotgun or pistol for protection. This applies to common citizens, not police officers. However, you must be registered to own a gun. Government: My envisioned government will be a Constitutional Dictatorship. It's the best way for the leader to make decisions quickly and get things implemented! I say constitutional because the leader must still abide by laws. He can't just do as he wishes and have all the say so. Voting will still exist, representatives will as well. Only thing truly different is that the leader gives the final yes or no. Taxes: Taxes will be a very simple flat tax for the game. 10% of whatever your career makes you must give in taxes. 10% tax will also be placed on corporation income. Drugs: Weed, Tobacco, Alcohol, and Over-The-Counter Medicine will be legal drugs on the island. Minimum Wage: $10 an hr is the lowest wage businesses will be allowed to give to employees. The Tale of Lucious Times Lucious Lee Times (myself) is a character that grew up homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In a city of crime Lucious had to be on the lookout at every turn. In Lucious' young life he grew to be very aware of the crime filled city and knew he had to do something to ensure his safety. At 15, Lucious started an organization with a few neighborhood boys called "The Peacekeepers". These boys were brutal. They cleaned the streets of crime in the most direct ways possible. Showing up to criminal hideouts and wasting away every member present, making fake visits to prisons and jails to poison and eliminate those criminals on the inside, making appointments with the LAPD to let THEM know how things would be done. The Peacekeepers were vigilantes at the finest. The city soon had a crime rate so low new schools were being built and more people migrated to the lovely city of Los Angeles. Through all the harsh deeds The Peacekeepers had done Lucious never was present for the actual action. He was the mastermind, the planner, the brain of the whole operation. Sitting behind a desk as leader of The Peacekeepers. Oh how things looked great! Lucious had made something out of nothing and became a city icon and hero as he grew older. Though soon, things made a turn for the worst. Lucious' closest partner, his beautiful fiance was capture by a man known by the name Gustavo Fring. A now well-known high profile methamphetamine drug lord. He did so becuase by cleaning up the city Lucious' made distribution for Mr. Fring come to a complete stop in the area. Lucious grew furious, so furious he began to walk into a whole new light. The Peacekeepers became a weapon at Lucious' disposal. He thought long and hard and then finally had a plan. After finding where Fring was located Lucious and his team of over 200 men approached the location, guns loaded and ready for anything. However, Fring was already aware of Lucious' presence and decided to retaliate. Fring killed Lucious' fiance, then sent out total war upon Lucious and his men. In the end only two men were left standing; Fring and Lucious. After few words, Lucious caught leverage and killed Fring. Though Lucious was severly injured by gunshot. He called the LAPD. With quickness, Lucious was saved and had chance to speak with the LAPD Chief of Police. He thanked Lucious for his doings and after a long conversation of tears the chief left. Lucious began to realize how much he'd loss. All his men, his fiance, his hold on the city from crime all gone! Three weeks later Lucious walked out of the hospital, grab all $789,211 he'd raised with his people, and began to leave town for a new home. A place called Turtle Beach on Identity Island. However, when he got to the town line he found something waiting for him. Over half the city was standing their with gold-colored gold-scented candles. Some of them stood to give thanks, but many stood ready to follow him wherever he went. A woman by the name of Dorris Jean approached Lucious and told him this: "We give these candles to represent who you are to the city. Forever will you be the gold we all love, the gold we all know has provided, the gold we all know will pay the price. For to us you are a leader and friend. For you have become like royalty in this city. And with you royalty we be your royal family." Lucious was proud. All negative feelings previous washed away. Lucious now felt the obligation to continue to lead. For he knew he was wise and could give great leadership. This time he wouldn't limit himself to the leadership of a groups of boys who run a city, no. That was below him now. Now he needed to lead in higher heights where he could have greater impact and influence. A position of power such as Governor would do the trick! So he then decided to venture into the political field of leadership once he arrived in his new home. A few hours later after a celebratory evening Lucious and the now called Royal Family left. 12 days later they arrived in Turtle Beach on the Identity island and the rest is soon to be foretold...

The first category will be under hunting. This category will have hunting rifles, pistols, and shotguns, scopes will be allowed but no silencers. The second category will be self defense which will include pistols and shotguns, you will be allowed to shoot before you call the police if someone is trying to kill you. Last category will be pleasure guns. These guns you will only be able to shoot at shooting ranges, and you must be trained to shoot them. Extensive background checks will be preformed to buy any of these weapons. You will also have a licence to shoot any of these weapons. That means no criminal record. Butterfly knives and switch blades will be illegal. The only ammo that will be allowed will be general ammo. Crimes: In a Thomas Hetch island(if there ever is one) there will be lower crime rates because I will encourage the officers, politicians, and other high ranked people to interact not only with their friends but the community so they know that we care about them. Drug Policies: Weed, tobacco, alcohol, and prescription drugs will be the only legal drugs. Jobs and min wage: I think that the minimum wage should be $15 an hour. Don't fire people if they make one little mistake business owners. Minimum layoffs would be great. Oil drilling: I support oil drilling as long as it is done in the correct matter. We can't have marine life dying. Voting: I don't have any stance on people with criminal records voting. That means I don't care. I care about what the people say and that is what will be done. I think that though that everyone should be able to vote. Death Penalty: I think for really bad crimes people should get the death penalty. bad crime include murder and terrorism only Healthcare: I think together we can make a affordable healthcare system that will benefit everyone upper, middle, and lower class all together. At times when Identity crosses my mind while I'm thinking one of the things I brainstorm in my head is, "What if I started a book club?" To some people this may sound absolutely ridiculous. "Oh my gosh, Fanature that's such a dumb and child thing to do!" It's just a thought that crossed my mind. Of course as mentioned in many videos, forums, posts, etc, there are going to be libraries in Identity. That means player written books, maybe even pre-made. As players within a huge expansive world I thought it would be really cute if someone/a player would make a book club, where a group of friends would meet together in the library or a player home and just read and discuss. I just thought I would present this cute roleplay idea Does anyone have any ideas they'd like to discuss that are roleplay related?

There is only 1 governor per server! I think the reason why no one is specifying what kind of server they will run on is because it's kind of too early to choose what server you'll play on, if that makes any sense. Running for governor on the forum isn't really an official race, I think it's just to get your name out there and to possibly get votes early on, test out the waters, etc... Hopefully this makes sense But yes, there will only be 1 governor per server!

Yes. From what i know there are karaoke bars so there may be a mic for singing and there are instruments that you can play note by note.

For me what I look forward to really is seeing this game become a reality. The first thing that came to mind when I found this game was "2nd Life" but this is on such a next level that really there has never been anything like this and I can't wait to see it develop. I plan to put together a MC and see what sort of lives we can make for ourselves. I love the living out in the wild and camping as well as hunting and fishing..Also I plan to write a novel in game and see how that plays out in terms of players purchasing it. As of now I have two concerns when it comes to this game...The first being that expectations are huge for this game and what is being offered seems almost unreal. 2nd KoS is a huge factor in games like this. Some players look forward to trolling others and so I see PvP being a very hard thing for you all to balance. The reason I find this so hard to balance is because how do you create a game where I am free to commit murder while still balancing the penalty of that crime with the method to keep me playing. Going to jail and sitting there seems to kill the desire to login. Prison life could be fun but for how long? I guess I could go on an on about this but I'll just wait and see what is offered. As for goals in the game I have a lot but the biggest goal I have is that fact that I already have some guys in my gaming community and I plan to run a Private server that is Hardcore RP based. I think this game has so much to offer if we even just get some of what we are seeing in trailers. If allowed I plan to post some videos of the game play once we are allowed into the Town Square. I have about 10 or so people that like the idea but have doubts about the end result. Hopefully I can put their minds to ease one they see some in game results.

When I called it a national bank, that was solely for naming purposes. It has nothing to do with how it will be run. It's operations would be as that of a credit union and nothing else. I apologize for the confusion it caused but I am glad that is cleared up. In the future I will be sure to mention that "national bank" is only a name and it is actually run like a credit union where the "members" are the citizens of Identity. What I hoped to address in the statement, was about my motivation for running. As you seemed to be saying "why are you running if you have no declared personal motivation, therefore you're corrupt." I hoped to address the true reasons as to why I was running. If you're still not convinced I do plan on working with congress to give everyone in government a fair salary as well. It was a mistake to use the language of "my business" here. I should have said, "the bank" as in the scenario of me being elected, i would have no ownership of the bank, as it would be a government bank. I fail to see how this quote proves you correct about all banks being run for profit. Perhaps because you don't consider credit unions to be banks? Either way, my plan is for a non-profit, government run, credit union/bank (whatever we decide to call it). You may attack my minor syntax inconsistencies, but this is the plan I have always had and will continue to have. If you think a government organization offering citizens low interest loans and decent interest rate savings accounts is a bad idea, THEN we can have a very interesting discussion about economics, as apposed to nitpicking my use of language.

The devs have not released much about vehicles and so I am sure if you send them a tweet they will tell you but there is very little. Just expect any outcome really.

Hello people of Identity. My name is Gene Smith and I'm running for Governor of The Island. I know that the game currently isn't out and nothing is set in stone but I wanted to set out my campaign. I've taken my time to carefully think about different answers for popular questions. What will you do about Property Taxes? What will you do about Gun Control? What will you do about regulating taxes? What are your thoughts about Health Care? What you can do for the working man, and what will you do about the crime? ------------ Property Taxes are Taxes you pay to keep your business running or your home from being taken away. Property taxes are unnecessary and unneeded. Property Taxes need to be removed completely and focusing on taxing other things. You should not have to pay for something you helped build just to live in fear of it being taken away. ----- Gun Control is something that everybody talks about when somebody gets shot. Well the hard truth is, guns don't kill people. People kill people. A person has to load the gun, aim the gun and pull the trigger. We don't need control on guns. We need control on the people who have the guns. If you have a criminal record and you have been known to kill you will have to run a background check before you're able to get your guns. ------ Regulating Taxes on working people will not only bring more jobs but also putting more people in those jobs. A person who makes 8$ an hour gets taxed 5%,10% and even 15% and sometimes even up to but not limited to 35%. You take a middle class man who works 10 hours a day and makes 10 dollars an hour. He gets taxed 15% for his week of pay. He takes home 425$ or somewhere around there. That money could be going towards his house payments. His food. His utilities or even buying clothes for his children. Regulating taxes is the number one thing we need to work on. I want to lower the tax rate to at least 3% to give the lower/middle class man or woman that extra incentive to work harder for those promotions. A happy worker is a hard worker. ------- Health Care is the most important thing. Canada-while their government isn't the best- they do have free health care. Free health care is the most important thing that we need to work on. While Canadians have to pay higher taxes for free health care we will not. Regulating taxes is what needs to happens. --------- The working man is the best type of man. A man who isn't afraid of trying to support his family and trying to make his household happy. The working man is the backbone of our community. I've seen plenty working men and woman that have started their own companies based on the fact to grow more and create more jobs. They make more money for our homes and government. I want to work on. Not taxing the working person not because they're special but because they deserve what they worked for. Why take that away? And crime is something that I will talk about later if necessary. Thank you for your time.
