2 pointsI want to start a discussion of a different kind. But let me explain why: I have been a Member of this community since december 2016. I have met many friendly people from around the world here. Most of the people here are very friendly, answering questions and so on. I am from germany and i have not often seen such a friendly community. (In my oppionion many german communities are bad with toxic members, everyone want to be the best. Maybe some germans can relate.) But the Subreddit of Identity (i know its not official) is realy bad. I try to help people there every now and then but it seems that the follower und visitors of the subreddit there are mainly toxic people. For example this guy who asked today when the module will be released. It's sad and funny at the same moment. Or this guy here who complained about the lack of released content for the game : https://www.reddit.com/r/IdentityMMO/comments/5xsg9o/im_really_in_love_with_this_idea_of_a_game_but/ (Just a link, i don't want such big screenshots) These are only 2 examples and i hardly want to know: Whats going on with the internet novadays? Why are the people toxic even i try to help in the subreddit? Is it cause its Reddit? Is it cause i'm getting to old? Did i do something wrong or are so people just idiots? Why is the forum so nice and the subreddit so extremely bad?

2 pointsI agree there are many posts that have claimed to be the best in their fields of business. Personally I included "best" to describe ASC for a few reasons such as; being one of the oldest companies established on the old forums prior to this one; merging with Joelisonline's grand security firm (the only other company to have migrated to the new forums); designing a business plan containing 100's of hours of collaboration and 30,000 words based off of the little information given to us; organization of a subcommunity in the company that plays frequently together; and lastly, with the help of real military documents and active individuals serving, the development of training manuals covering a plethora of scenarios, positions, and responsibilities. According to you, does all of this justify calling ASC the "best private security" out there? Maybe not. Maybe we shall find out in Identity though In conclusion, the claim is moreso to celebrate the hardwork and dedication employees of the company are so passionate to put in and I am very proud of both the community's support and individuals that have joined ASC over the years which are now great friends of mine.

1 pointGTA 4's physics were some of the best.when you would eject from a moving vehicle you would slide half way over the map, well not really but you get what I mean. I would love to see ragdoll physics in identity similar to that in GTA 4

1 pointFanature Hello there, my name is Fanature! I'm a YouTuber, Gamer, Student, and another persona looking forward to the MMORPG, which frankly has a lot of potentials, IdentityRPG! Before I start to talk about my excitement for the game I'd like to talk about muah (one's self). MUAH! This is Fanature! Since I've already introduced myself let me fill you in with a little more information on muah! I've been a gamer for most of my life (since I was five years of age). I was first introduced to the realm of gaming through a platform called, thee Playstation 3. I've had many wonderful memories on that wonderful console, especially while playing a game called "LittleBigPlanet." I actually met many of my friends through that wonderful, cute, expansive game. It's a shame that not as many people play it nowadays... Sorry I was getting caught up in the moment, back to muah self! Get it?!?! Sorry, I sound crazy. I'm currently stationed in the city of New York. It's a wonderful place. It's noisy, has millions of people bustling about, the smell of food in the air, and gas... It's a place I can call home... If you'd like to become friends and get to know each other just send me a friendly message! I absolutely love getting to know new people! IDENTITY! Ah, the game of wonders, the game of potential! Identity. I'm extremely excited for this game, and I'm expecting you're all as equally excited as me! A lot of us have many similar features that we're looking forward to that's going to be featured within this wonderful game. But I'm going to list just a few things that I'm looking forward to doing within the game itself. 1. The Winter Lodge: I remember a while back that the devs spoke of a snowy mountain that players will get the chance to ski, snowboard, and much more! And of course, many snow resorts that feature that activities have a snow lodge or winter lodge. One thing I'll be looking forward to in this is getting the chance to sit near the warm far, plop myself on a cozy, fuzzy couch, and grab a mug of hot, warm hot chocolate. If you'd like you and I could discuss that further through a private message. Perhaps even through the IdentityRPG discord. 2. Smartphones/Computers: Ah, the feature of social media! The place where you can shop, stalk and please yourself (and not in that way! No way!) I'm very much looking forward to the computer feature. It will allow others and me to communicate with each other, and that also goes for the smartphones that every player will have. I absolutely can't wait to get the chance to talk and text someone through a virtual smartphone! I just find that so cute and comfy to have the accessibility as a player. We can discuss that feature with each other if you'd like to message me through my profile. 3. The Gym Feature: Yes, of course, the gym feature! I'm very well aware that this feature will not be released until a little later after the full release, maybe even when the game first comes out. But I remember in one of the dev Q&As that they discussed how the amount of food injestine, depending on how unhealthy or bad it is, can make you gain weight. Going to the gym will allow your character to stay fit and keep your weight under control. In other words, making yourself look.. well.. hot. Depending on your facial features. I'll have to judge for myself No, I'm not creepy! I'd absolutely love to discuss this feature if you'd like, just dm me on my profile. CONCLUSION I guess that's all! It was wonderful to type all of this up just to allow everyone to get to know muah! If you'd like to become friends, chat about the game, or maybe even game itself just hmu through my profile. Message muah! Have a wonderful day ya'll! Take care!

1 pointI'll be honest. I don't see much difference between the screenshot you show and this forum. I wouldn't say this is the friendliest forum of the internet. I wish I could say, but of all the forums I usually visit, this is easily the easiest to cause flames. There's indeed very helpful and friendly people here also, thanks to which I keep coming. What's up with the internet? My theory is that people don't treat others the same way they would if they were face to face. There seems to be little respect or empathy in the written media. Maybe I'm old too and so I feel your pain. Maybe those other forums I'm in, are more frequented by older people than here, such as flight simulation forums, not sure there is correlation though. But yeah, I often wonder if people really talk to other people in person like they do in the forums.

1 pointHey @tmacdonald and welcome to the identity community. What kind of update do you mean? Do you means news about the game in general? We don't know when excactly there are updates. The Town Square module is already set to be released in Q1 2017. This means it can be that the first playable piece of the game could be released this month. But no official information on that yet. The beta is set to be released End 2017 or early 2018. If you don't mean these updates, tell us what exactly greetings from germany

1 pointThis is an awesome idea, and with the right people working together could be easily accomplished.

1 pointYou was half right the first time and now you are also half right going the other way round. The "title" under our names are done by post count and the reputation one is by likes which is only seen on the profile.

1 pointNo, it's just through Paypal or debit/credit card for now. However, even if you don't have a credit card, you could use a prepaid bank/gift card and pay with that through Paypal. So instead of linking a credit card with your Paypal account, you just put in a prepaid bank card, like a Visa card for example. I'm pretty sure you could just put in a prepaid bank card without Paypal too. This post might help you out a little! I haven't done it myself, but apparently, you can do that!

1 pointThere is no beta currently out, but it is set to release early 2018 if there are no delays! The only people who get access to the beta and the 3 modules are those who bought the Founder Pack (the 30$ package). In order to get a job in the game, I'd assume you just sign up for it kind of like in real life. You would go to the place of work and put in an application. Also, you can own your own business! Here is a link to the FAQ by Jamesluck! There is also a Q&A hosted by Powergaming, a reddit Q&A , and an interview by Eterna Gaming! You can also use the search bar in the top right of the screen if these links don't answer all of your questions! You could also check their twitter for any answered questions, and their Youtube channel for some videos! Hope this helped !

1 pointI want to live some where out away from the people, but still close enough to travel and shop. I hope there is scenery and sunsets and perhaps an ocean. Just put me in a hobbit hole and I'll probably be happy. Or a cave.

1 pointOne thing that I have noticed is that console MMORPGs are based around action, not community. You don't see socializing MMORPGs like SecondLife on consoles, you see GTA Online, which is action with the option to talk on mic. Though there will be action elements in Identity, it won't be the main concept. The main concept of Identity is to socialize. But maybe the devs will make it work.

1 pointOr maybe save him time and answer him rather than telling him to "search it up" or answer and say "By the way you can search 'death/die' and your answer will also be found."

1 pointBecuase shooting guns in video games is fun, and some people want to make a career out of it. Also, Aegis was one of the first, along with Atlas. They're the only ones I would "take seriously"

1 pointWhat a crazy several weeks since the last dev blog post! The increased exposure and attention from the apartment video has resulted in a surge of additional funding for Identity, which has translated into an expanded team with two new full-time developers coming on board and more to join soon. Work has been going very well. Motown, your community manager, has started transitioning into the role of producer to help manage our expanding team. This has helped to reduce some of the work-load on myself so it's been a very welcome change and he's proving to be great for the role. Our lead character artist, Miroslav, has been hard at work on numerous enhancements including building our makeup and blemish systems. This will give us the freedom to add all kinds of makeup options, especially for females but also for men. Your options at character creation will be a bit limited, but a vanity table will let you customize your makeup much further. Blemishes allow us to modify the skin in a whole lot of ways, from just a little blush on the cheeks to full-body freckles and more. Miroslav has also done an excellent job expanding eye customization for your characters which won't just tint the color of the iris but change its entire pattern to properly match the styles seen in those eyes in reality. He's also expanded our options for hair and facial hair. Feature development has also been going quickly and smoothly. Among others, we've built the contacts and friends systems which will be available in the Town Square module. When you meet people in the world you'll be able to exchange contact information, adding their number and name to your phone. This then acts like a friends list in other games, but you can even text or phone them with real working voice systems. It's also integrated with your Steam friends to make finding them easier. Environment art is also moving along, with several artists working full-time to give you beautiful environments. We've hired on some more artists and are even reworking some of the earlier assets we produced to bring the up to our now higher standards. Identity YouTube channel PowerGaming7 had the chance to speak with myself and Motown for a while after asking his viewers for a bunch of questions to ask. The result was an almost one hour long video where we shared all sorts of information you may not have heard before. You can find the link to this video right here. Once again, I want to thank every one of you for your continued support! Every pledge that comes in goes straight into the development of new features and helps us get the game to you a little bit faster. The attention we've seen over the last couple of months has been staggering, and we are excited to show you more of the gameplay soon!

1 point@ThomasHetch Please make all your replies in one post so the forum is not scattered with multiple replies. Thanks!
