The High Society If anyone is interested in starting a Cannabis grow operation feel free to message my (Operations Manager)TRIIZ he handles all incoming applications and will submit them to the CEO for finalization. This is currently a rough copy so changes will be made as more updates come out. Goals- To start a network of marijuana production and distribution for the purpose of making some cash and building a reputation of a trustworthy business you can rely on. This after all, is not a "gang" but more of a enterprise, we do not classify our customers no matter of what career they've chosen(unless their cops). We distribute our products to all parts of the island, whether you be in a populated city or hidden in a dense forest. Our products will reach you and will satisfy your needs. I also hope to expand my network to include a money laundering operation to keep the heat off our organization(unless the sale and manufacture of Cannabis becomes legal, but we'll cross that bridge when it presents itself.) Recruitment- Prospective members must chip-in monthly for the Organizations equipment and potential upgrades and/or any legal trouble members may have. Provide information on other Cannabis grow operations in your local areas. Once the beta goes online I will layout our territory given pre-discussing with other Clubs/Organizations so we don't step on any toes. Members may not have a criminal record when they join. If a member does get themselves in trouble with the law, The leader will back the member with financial support and retribution is necessary. Method- Hopefully warehouse space or farm land will be available to buy, If not you'll have to use a network of apartments for production. Transfer that production to a central location for inventory then distribute. A network of apartments I am willing to help you develop. *I should say the town square module will be the testing ground for network production through apartments. Warehouses may come later on but for major production as of right now, a network will need to be established. Members- Currently, we have no members, but as The High Society is a newly formed business, it is not surprising. Nevertheless, with future endeavors, our list will hopefully grow to safely provide you the finest products in the quickest time possible. Prohibited Actions- 1-Providing information to other business and/or individuals 2-Snitch to the authorities on the whereabouts of the cannabis farms 3-Stealing cannabis to your own use Structure CEO: Makeshift VP: ASSASSINWOLF3568 Marketing Manager: DAHZXRD Operations manager: TRIIZ Distributors: Open (3) Growers: Open (Unlimited Amount) Dealers: Open (Unlimited Amount) Application: Future RP Name: What Position are you applying for?: Steam Profile and Identity Profile link: Forums Rank/Identity pre-order package(founder, citizen, cabbie etc?: Will you be in attendance for modules?: Do you understand the requirements for admission into this Organization?: Why should we accept you?: What is your current reputation in-game and/or forums (1-10, 1=not so good, 10=fantastic!):

    THOMAS HETCH IDENTITY GOVERNOR EXPOSED!!!!!!

Hey, so to start off, my friend and i thought of this idea and thought it would be really cool and realistic, and would also fit the things already in progress. So the thing of this is based around Interior design and a Interior designer job that would allow you to buy home improvements but would make it so you couldn't just do it your self and you would have to wait for a worker, in details i am thinking about it this way. There would be a interior design job where you would be notified about an order placed by someone, and you would get the address and a list of materials needed for the job, where you would maybe have the things in your inventory and you would go to the place and would have to build the different improvements (Getting an option to begin doing the things needed and would have like a percentage of the things getting improved) and as the other things in the game and stated by the devs if no worker comes by the certain time it would automatically be placed. The thing with building markets is kinda like a second choice and a longer more time consuming thing to do where as a player if you would want a certain thing in your house instead of contacting a interior designer firm, you would have to go down to a building market and buy the stuff your self and do the things yourself as opposed to contacting the worker, where doing that would maybe cost a little bit more and you wouldn't have to be doing all the work yourself. I really think this would be a great addition to the game and would make alot of sense and improving on the realism. EDIT: (I edited the post from carpenters to interior designers, im still not 100% sure what the specific profession is called but i think it is Interior designer) Thanks for reading this suggestion, i also posted a question that will be linked below ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know im bloody late to the party but theres no need to be salty guys. If you are wanting to HELP new people then be prepared to listen to the same question over and over. No need to burn them alive as soon as they mention the word GTA. Keep it cool and answer their question even though you want to put their neck in a noose. No need to deter people from the game from bad support to a new member.

Thank you for seeing that,I literally was attacked for giving a suggestion. What can I say, some people just aren't raised properly. If they didn't want to see what I had to say they didn't need to click on the post. It clearly said "Dinner Parties & Adult Entertainment"

Hair gel would be a neat addition to Identity. I don't know how hard this would be to incorporate, but I think the developers should keep this suggestion in mind.

I don't exactly what the details are, but I'm pretty sure that drugs, such as meth, will give you an energy boost, but will also make your character dependent on that drug. That's what I know.

What a crazy several weeks since the last dev blog post! The increased exposure and attention from the apartment video has resulted in a surge of additional funding for Identity, which has translated into an expanded team with two new full-time developers coming on board and more to join soon. Work has been going very well. Motown, your community manager, has started transitioning into the role of producer to help manage our expanding team. This has helped to reduce some of the work-load on myself so it's been a very welcome change and he's proving to be great for the role. Our lead character artist, Miroslav, has been hard at work on numerous enhancements including building our makeup and blemish systems. This will give us the freedom to add all kinds of makeup options, especially for females but also for men. Your options at character creation will be a bit limited, but a vanity table will let you customize your makeup much further. Blemishes allow us to modify the skin in a whole lot of ways, from just a little blush on the cheeks to full-body freckles and more. Miroslav has also done an excellent job expanding eye customization for your characters which won't just tint the color of the iris but change its entire pattern to properly match the styles seen in those eyes in reality. He's also expanded our options for hair and facial hair. Feature development has also been going quickly and smoothly. Among others, we've built the contacts and friends systems which will be available in the Town Square module. When you meet people in the world you'll be able to exchange contact information, adding their number and name to your phone. This then acts like a friends list in other games, but you can even text or phone them with real working voice systems. It's also integrated with your Steam friends to make finding them easier. Environment art is also moving along, with several artists working full-time to give you beautiful environments. We've hired on some more artists and are even reworking some of the earlier assets we produced to bring the up to our now higher standards. Identity YouTube channel PowerGaming7 had the chance to speak with myself and Motown for a while after asking his viewers for a bunch of questions to ask. The result was an almost one hour long video where we shared all sorts of information you may not have heard before. You can find the link to this video right here. Once again, I want to thank every one of you for your continued support! Every pledge that comes in goes straight into the development of new features and helps us get the game to you a little bit faster. The attention we've seen over the last couple of months has been staggering, and we are excited to show you more of the gameplay soon!

Today we have launched the new Identity website, bringing you the most up-to-date information available on Identity game features, media and development news. This website is still temporary while a studio of web-ninjas completes our new epic website, but you'll now find much more regular updates here at IdentityRPG.com. Be sure to check out our DevTracker for all the latest from our community manager, Motown. Motown answers questions on social media and these forums every day, so it's the best place to be to find the latest tidbits of information on Identity. We'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions for the Identity website!

This suggestion comes from this thread. There's obviously something that can be improved about the search bar when so many newbies come repeating the same questions, and creating tutorials or blaming them makes no difference. By the time the newbie realizes, he's no newbie any more. Solutions or at least improvements may be: - On the first post of a user, a message should encourage to read and use the search bar. - Make the search bar visible. That is, really visible. Why not flashing? Thanks @Hatoful

They are standalone. The modules are standalone and so they are downloaded via a launcher that you get from the website. Full release however will likely have steam keys sent to you and then you will download the whole game via steam.

Good to hear from you @Makeshift . Whoever said "70's Harley's" is incorrect. We do not stick by one selection of bikes by year. We do however stick with choppers be it Harley's or Indians, etc. Feel free to message me if you have any concerns or questions about the club, we would gladly have you with us in the club

Okay so to start of i've not bought the game yet but im really considering it, i have both a question and a suggestion (Will link the suggestion in the last line). So my question is if it will be possible to buy a store in the mall, or owning property in the mall and making your own store? I would really like this because it would be extremly immersive and i think people would put this to great use. And my suggestion is here ----------------------------------

*Kevin snaps the zippo closed, placing it back in his pocket as he inhales, thinking. He exhales as he starts to respond* "I'll be honest here, I have a terrible track record with bikers ever since I've moved here. Twice they would have killed me if I hadn't of gotten out while the gettin was good, because they were not happy with my work. That's before I mention that my business is booming. I've got six hoists in that shop, and they all have builds on them, so leaving this behind just seems like I would be losing money hand over fist. I hate to say it, but it just seems like a bad investment for me" *Kevin ashes his cigarette before taking another long drag*

That's what I was thinking. I plan on being a graffiti writer myself in Identity, and I think having illegal spots to paint would make my Identity-life just a bit more interesting.

I dont think the problem is that its hard to find or use, but no one thinks to use it. This is common on just about every forum.

honestly, i don't think there will be many people that are between 13-16 years old on here. this won't be their type of game most likely, they'll probably be playing on console or on steam. i think most people in that age bracket that will be playing will either be going through that phase or are playing from their parents account. of course i can't be for sure, and am solely guessing, but it seems to me a game like identity that's basically real life but with a twist doesn't seem like the type of game that will appeal to most of the younger audience. now if they were to come on here for their own reasons, i wouldn't be scared of them destroying the game but rather scared for them. we don't know these people that will be playing this game, they could be anything from flat out bullies who will pick on them because of their voice or fashion choice all the way to pedophiles. if the younger generation was to play this game, it would probably be to play it seriously but i would fear people picking on them or trying to pick them up.

For them to add things that I hope do not need to take years and years they can be updating the game always putting these things over time and in my opinion these things are necessary for a game that simulates real life and that can amuse the players
  43. 1 point
The issue could be resolved by providing players with the ability to submit the currency through an ATM-like machine rather than remaining dependent on the player to attain the wealth. I.E. the owner or an employee of a gas station is unavailable at 2:30AM. Thus, the consumer purchases gas from a machine, identical to a vending machine. *Deposits $20 in order to attain $20 worth of fuel/gas*

It would be cool to be able to make babies in this game and take care of them and be able to see them growing the same in real life
  45. 1 point
How is it impractical? It would add immersion because you would have to get gas to continue driving. You could buy snacks or drinks from it. It would add another thing for delivery men to deliver. ie Lays potato chip shipment going to a gas station. I like the idea

There won't be a stock market in game as it will be too hard to control. (It has been confirmed) Hunger will be in the game, you will have to eat at least one time per ingame day. Going to the toilet and showering will be in the game, but it will not be needed to do, it will only be for RP. You can quote me on this as it is 100% true. All confirmed by the developers. @JamesLuck01

I would like to RP an average middle aged bike enthusiast who slowly but surly begins to lead a life of crime smuggling weapons across the island and later creating a motorcycle gang. Or i would like to RP as a trucker who just spends his time driving, sleeping at motels and getting into fights at bars. Or, i know it sounds rather stupid or boring, i would like to just RP my whole time on the college campus. I like the idea of being a student at the uni and it is a great place to just soak in RP from others. It would be fun to RP a reckless teen as he battles through Uni.

I heard there will be a underground illegal fighting, that's where I'm at. I'm gonna be chuck lidel(or whatever) and woop some ass. While intoxicated on lsd. I'll be chucks opposite. Brass knuckles, black hoodie, and a black eye as all I plan on doing is exploring, but I would love for the fighting system to be in depth, and for there to be me- crowned king 28th a black eye and fat, blood dripping, lip. WOOT.

I plan to roleplay sort of like myself, since that would be really easy. I would try to stay out of most crime activity as best as i can. Probably just try to find a good job that I would enjoy, hang out in social areas and... whatever else comes up.
