2 pointsThank you for visiting the home of our campaign and welcome! I will be posting updates here as they come. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My name is Bobby Cruz. Just like you, I am a citizen of Identity. I think we can all agree that we are incredibly excited for this game to become a reality. Personally, I am eager to see what my fellow citizens choose to do with their lives. Will you pursue a career in law enforcement and bravely commit yourself to protecting others? Will you become a successful, innovative businessperson and provide great products and services to the people of Identity? Perhaps you are a creative mind and will opt to become an artist, interior decorator or furniture designer. No matter what path you choose in Identity, it is critical for you to be able to live your life, fulfill your roles and enjoy yourself in a community that is happy, safe, and equal. After much thought, I have decided to announce my campaign for Governor. My goal that I commit to you, the citizens, is to provide a community that is constantly harboring a place for your opinions on important matters. Governing is not a one-person job. Having as much input as possible from our citizens is key to a successful, transparent and well-functioning government and society. Our Goals If elected, the government will run on three essential platforms: Involvement, Ideas and Impact. Let me explain: INVOLVEMENT This is the foundation of my campaign and will be the foundation of our government if I am elected. In order to successfully carry out my role as governor, I am asking for input from all citizens no matter your background. Each and every one of your opinions matters to me and are vital to shaping a society for our citizens. Involvement is open to anyone and everyone who is willing to sacrifice their valuable time for the betterment of our society. Opportunities for involvement will include being able to serve on the Governor’s Cabinet, multiple committees across a variety of disciplines such as labor, environment, public policy, and ethics, as well as citizen polls and votes to directly provide the government with your opinion. IDEAS Once you become involved, whether it be through the cabinet, committees or taking part in frequent polls and votes, your ideas have the potential to become reality. Have an idea about public policy that you would love to see implemented in our community? Are you unhappy with a recent governing decision and want to voice your opinion for change? Maybe you are living in an area experiencing an unusually high amount of crime and want to establish a neighborhood watch program. All of these are possible and we want to hear about it. As your governor, I promise you that my team and I will evaluate every single one of your ideas with seriousness, professionalism and promptness. Not one idea gets overlooked in my office. I want to implement your ideas into our community to make it a better place. IMPACT Lastly, your ideas become impactful in the community. This is where your ideas about how our community is governed are put in place. When your idea successfully makes it through and is approved by voters, our citizens, we take immediate action to implement it. My commitment to you is that I will enforce these new ideas to the fullest extent of my authority. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that we have covered the platforms, I will move on to my stances on important issues facing our world today. I will do my best to keep it short and sweet, and I will welcome your questions at any time! Issues TAXES Tax percentages of income and how they will be distributed are yet to be determined. This is one of the biggest and most controversial parts of a government thus it is a work in progress. I would like to bring on a committed campaign team that I can collaborate with to pursue this venture. Please see “Involvement Opportunities” below for more information on how you can become a part of the campaign. EQUALITY Every citizen has the right to pursue any opportunity they desire, so long as it follows the law, no matter their background. I am committed to ensuring that this is enforced, maintained and improved upon throughout my term. HEALTHCARE Healthcare is a right for all people. I believe that it should be provided, free of cost, to all of our citizens. Funding will be provided primarily through taxes. GUN CONTROL A controversial matter that is of utmost importance. Guns will be very difficult to obtain in our community. Prospects will have to complete an intensive background check, training programs and psychiatric analyses before being considered for a gun permit. DRUG LAWS Illicit drugs such as cocaine and methamphetamine will be illegal. Marijuana, alcohol, and tobacco will be fully legalized. JOBS AND MINIMUM WAGE My goal is for every citizen to have a job or career that they enjoy and that they can make a decent living off of. Minimum wage will be set at $15 to ensure that citizens can provide themselves with the basic necessities to live. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES Our campaign is currently looking for a number of individuals to assist us across all categories. Please direct message me for an application. Current Openings: Campaign Advisors ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Bobby Cruz for Governor Campaign is a committed supporter and volunteer for the Human Rights Preservation Organization. http://tinyurl.com/j2236nw ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you all very much for taking the time to read my post. Please feel free to ask questions, either on this post or through direct message. I look forward to the future of this campaign and the future of our community!

2 pointsWhat a crazy several weeks since the last dev blog post! The increased exposure and attention from the apartment video has resulted in a surge of additional funding for Identity, which has translated into an expanded team with two new full-time developers coming on board and more to join soon. Work has been going very well. Motown, your community manager, has started transitioning into the role of producer to help manage our expanding team. This has helped to reduce some of the work-load on myself so it's been a very welcome change and he's proving to be great for the role. Our lead character artist, Miroslav, has been hard at work on numerous enhancements including building our makeup and blemish systems. This will give us the freedom to add all kinds of makeup options, especially for females but also for men. Your options at character creation will be a bit limited, but a vanity table will let you customize your makeup much further. Blemishes allow us to modify the skin in a whole lot of ways, from just a little blush on the cheeks to full-body freckles and more. Miroslav has also done an excellent job expanding eye customization for your characters which won't just tint the color of the iris but change its entire pattern to properly match the styles seen in those eyes in reality. He's also expanded our options for hair and facial hair. Feature development has also been going quickly and smoothly. Among others, we've built the contacts and friends systems which will be available in the Town Square module. When you meet people in the world you'll be able to exchange contact information, adding their number and name to your phone. This then acts like a friends list in other games, but you can even text or phone them with real working voice systems. It's also integrated with your Steam friends to make finding them easier. Environment art is also moving along, with several artists working full-time to give you beautiful environments. We've hired on some more artists and are even reworking some of the earlier assets we produced to bring the up to our now higher standards. Identity YouTube channel PowerGaming7 had the chance to speak with myself and Motown for a while after asking his viewers for a bunch of questions to ask. The result was an almost one hour long video where we shared all sorts of information you may not have heard before. You can find the link to this video right here. Once again, I want to thank every one of you for your continued support! Every pledge that comes in goes straight into the development of new features and helps us get the game to you a little bit faster. The attention we've seen over the last couple of months has been staggering, and we are excited to show you more of the gameplay soon!

1 pointHi folks. For both new and old users alike, the Identity Shop may be a confusing thing. Thus, I have devised this elegant FAQ article, with the aim that I should be able to solve any problem you may have, without you needing to post a help request. Info for Kickstarter and Old Site backers. If you purchased your pass on either Kickstarter or the Old Site, then you will need to claim your purchase on this page. In order to do so, you will need to create an Identity Shop account, which logs your backer details, rewards, amount pledged etc. Q: I'm being asked to create an account when I try to claim my pledge, yet I've already created an account for the forum? What gives? A: Though it may sound counter-intuitive, your forum account and your Identity Shop account are two wholly different beasts. You will need to create separate accounts for both - however, you can still use the same username/email address. Q: I have created my Shop account and have inputted my email address into the "Claim" box but no claims have been found? Why? A: As the little error box already says, this might be because the system auto-claimed your pledge for you when you created your Shop account. This only occurs when your Shop account email address is the same as your Kickstarter/Old Site email address. If you are still receiving this message, yet no claims have been registered on your account, then you may be using the wrong email address. Ensure that your Kickstarter/Old Site email address is the same one you want to use. If problems still, persist, be sure to contact a Moderator who'll be able to help you track down your lost goodies. Q: What about my exclusive Kickstarter backer's hat? A: Fear not. Any rewards - including the backer's hat, beta access, free motorbike/apartment etc are all tied to your claim and email address. You will receive them when you get your access key. Q: I originally pledged $25 in the Kickstarter campaign, yet this price has risen to $30 on the new site. Do I need to contribute a further $5 to receive my rewards A: Nope, the $5 price bump is simply a short rise in price (caused by inflation and the conversion from Kickstarter's US Dollars to Identity's Canadian Dollars) for new players. You do not need to give any more money to receive your rewards. Info for Potential/Existing Backers Thanks for backing the game! Depending on the extent of your pledge, you will receive your rewards upon the launch of the game. Q: Is there any benefit to backing the game now, rather than buying it at release? As an exclusive backer, you not only receive nice rewards (depending on your pledge) but also a hefty price reduction, compared to the retail price of Identity upon launch. You also get to support Identity's dev team. Q: I claimed my pledge - what now? A: Wait patiently. You will now receive email newsletters from the Identity team informing you of game progress until eventually, you will be sent your access code. Depending on the level of your pledge, this may either be for the beta, or the game's full release. Q: I donated money for one reward but have decided I now want the tier above it. Can I upgrade? A: Yes! If you log into your Shop account, you will see that all prices have now been discounted to different degrees, depending on your original pledge. If you want to upgrade, merely pay the difference between the price of your original purchase and the next tier up. E.g. You originally paid $15 but want the $30 pledge. This pledge has now been reduced by $15. Be sure to log in first though! Q: Where can I track my backer info? A: On this handy page here: https://www.identityrpg.com/account/view/profile. There, you can access the details of your pledge (including rewards), as well as change important account info, like your password, date of birth or name. Importantly, you can also link your Store account to your Steam account, which will enable you to claim your key upon launch. You will also be able to opt out of exclusive backer email updates too, if you feel the need. Your shop account can also be linked to your forum account. Q: I signed in with Facebook but have lost all my items? Where have they gone? Accounts created via Facebook are different to those created without Facebook. To find your items, be sure to sign in with the correct account. That's it, folks. If you have any other questions, feel free to post them in the comments - I'll be sure to answer them as soon as I can! Thanks! Felix

1 pointMy top 5 biggest annoyances in any multilayer role play game. The Russian - people who do a bad Russian accent to seem more menacing. The mute - people who have no mic in 2017, but there character 'has no voice anyway' so it's alright. (How many people have you EVER met that are mute) The mass murderer / hardened military person - the guy who goes round killing everyone, then tries to role play it out, because they think it's fun to ruin everyone else's experience. These people are always dripping in camo clothing and have had world class gun training (how realistic). The drug dealer - fair enough, these role play games are generally based around drug smuggling and making money illigally (I think identity is no exception) but this character is always VERY overplayed. I've never, EVER met a drug dealer IRL, but hey, maybe I live on the nice side of town? God mode - the players who turn every situation around (using role play, usually text chat) to benefit their own character. These people never seem to die or get injured because they always have a trick up there sleeve like "picks lock and escapes unharmed". Personally, if the interaction is fun / funny / interesting, and I end up dieing to good role play, it's more fun than surviving through shoddy workarounds. On the whole, these games or servers are normally ruined by people with a lack of imagination. Poor imagination is ok! But using poor role play on top of that becomes very frustrating for other people. That's why I like role play on Twitch, it's not that server rules protect from bad experiences, it's that the level of quality role play is much higher because there is an audience. I'm not salty, im just bored of seeing huge potential ruined by unrealistic encounters and interactions. Discuss?

1 pointThe Gentleman's Club Est.1863 The Gentleman's Club is a social club for upper-class citizens of Identity. We aim to have a subsided club for the rich citizens of the island for us to get together and engage in activities as one. PLEASE NOTE: This is in no way a gang and will never involve illegal activities. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ranks The rank structure of the club is simple and easy. The Chairman is the highest rank of the club and is the leader of the club. The role of the chairman is to arrange meetings and to make sure that all costs for the clubhouse and other private properties are met. The Vice Chairman is the second highest rank within the club. The role of the vice chairman is much like the role of the chairman. They will have control over the club whilst the chairman is not present and will also suggest new club rules and updates as well as help arranging evens for the club. The Chairmans Secretary helps the Chairman in making sure that all bills are paid on time and arranges meetings for the Chairman and Vice Chairman. They work very closely with the Chairman and Vice Chairman. The Baron is in charge of anything money. They are in charge of the cashflow into the club and ensure that the money is handled well before being distributed between assets that need to be paid such as the club house and our Knights. The Duke is last staff rank of the club. The role of the duke is to observe and help run club events. They will be present at every club event to see that they running smoothly and that everyone is following the rules. They are also in charge of land and property ownership and maintains our private land for a personal use. A Man of Honor is a Gentleman who has shown their worth to the club by being in for a certain amount of time and by helping to fund the club. These members should be given the utmost respect for their contribution to the club. An Esteemed Gentleman is a slight rank up from Gentleman. They have shown their worth to the club and can now gain access to the club house without invitation from a superior. The Gentleman of the club is the standard rank for those that have paid their way into the club. From this rank you can get involved in club events as well as pass time at our private clubhouse. You must be provided with an invitation to the clubhouse before entering. Crusaders are a rank up from Knights. They are a senior Knight who has taken the role of leading the Knights and ensuring they are doing their job correctly and receive the proper training. Within our newly founded Crusaders Division you can find the Knights. These are the specially trained guards of The Gentleman's Club club house and vault. No one gets past these brave men without the proper authority and they assure that no one gets to places they arent supposed to be. They are put through rigorous training and are generally sought out from military and special forces backgrounds due to their discipline and trust. The Club Mechanic maintains all club members vehicles in a private garage on site and ensures they are in tip top shape before their next use. An Associate of the club is someone who is a friend of the club. Someone who holds this rank gives them limited access to the clubhouse although they will not be allowed to join in on club events or meetings. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Events/Activites The club will get involved in various activities, all of which are private events for the club. Some of these events are: - Hunting - Pool - Socialising - Darts - Smoking Pipes - Etc. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Shared Vault An idea that i would like to implement into The Gentleman's Club is a shared vault. This vault will allow players to deposit and withdraw money from a shared account that we can all put money into. We can add a new rank known as The Accountant and have him set up the account and record how much is deposited and withdrawn by each member. Of course there will be rules on this as we dont want people taking out everything but it means that people can access money if they need a little extra to buy a better suit or if we need to use some to pay for the rent. Gentlemen, let me know what you think of this before we make it official. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Admission To become a Gentleman first you must have over a certain amount of money in your bank account (TBD). After, you must pay an admission fee (TBD). From there, you will become a Gentleman and will have access to our clubhouse and events. PLEASE NOTE: This is a mens only club, however, if enough female characters would like to request to join, a new female-only wing will be added. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Members [ Member Count = 27 ] The Gentleman's Club The Gentleman's Club Constitution [@Herzog] - Chairman [@AndrewDonaldson] - Vice Chairman [@GeneSmith] - [Baron] [@Fakeout] - Man of Honor [@Berq] - Esteemed Gentleman [@Rem] - Esteemed Gentleman [@Josearaujo] - Esteemed Gentleman [@DanTheMan007] - Esteemed Gentleman [@dragon_12dk] - Esteemed Gentleman [@SonsofAsgard] - Esteemed Gentleman [@Joel_is_online] - Esteemed Gentleman [@Dream] - Esteemed Gentleman [@JoelKeys] - Esteemed Gentleman [@KingBen1223] - Esteemed Gentleman [@BioHaze] - Esteemed Gentleman [@White_Death] - Esteemed Gentleman [@dolore] - Esteemed Gentleman [@Capped] - Esteemed Gentleman [@Shadow765] - Esteemed Gentleman [@ForestCayden] - Esteemed Gentleman ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crusaders Division (Security) Security SOP [@Indoorseeker] - Head of Security [@slovaceck] - Internal Affairs [@Hanshi-Toshiro] - Drill Instructor [@Scottv10] - Crusader [@Alpha] - Knight [@QuannTann] - Knight [@DROSE] - Knight _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Winstons Tailors All members of the club receive a discount on all purchases at the newly opened tailors, Winstons. 1 pointHello, candidates and fellow concerned citizens. After discussion with the candidates for the Governorship, most have agreed to participate in a debate, in order to discuss their ideas in a public setting, and let the general population get a feel for their candidates and compare one another. I think it's wonderful that the candidates and community want to become so involved in this, and I'll be excited to host or help with this event. If you have ideas about what platform this debate could best be held on (discord, forum post, etc) please, let me know. I want the community, as well as the candidates involved in this, as it'll be a lot of fun, and a nice bit of RP too! If anyone has any suggestions for this event, let me know. If you wish to participate in the debate, also let me know, I don't want anyone coming in last minute. Good luck to all of you candidates! Thanks to the candidates for working this out with me! Edit: We will be holding the debate next weekend, as to gather more details, generate notice, allow the candidates to prepare, and let the people know what they're asking.

1 pointIf the game has an ocean or river or sea. PLEASE PLEASE add snorkeling and diving because that would be awesome!!!

1 pointI think there should be a way too give a higher jail time according to the crime commited, for example maybe a ui for the arresting officer with a list of crimes and the appropriate jail time for the crime next to it. EDIT: or maybe I should say the judge chooses the appropriate time If there are judges.

1 pointEven if they walked in on them, it would do nothing exactly. Like mentality no nudity and so there is no shame really, so why would anyone do anything? That would a waste of police time.
-
1 pointWe have no clue, but there will be plenty of cars I would expect. The details of cars will come closer to the last module/ towards the release of the full game.
-
1 pointThere will be pets, and there will be farms. The pets will be confined to your apartment/ house at first and later after the release, you will be able to take them out. Farming is something and will be a big thing to do.
-
1 pointI believe they are be too busy with other aspects of the game. And this technology probably requires a lot of data, and they probably don't want to blow up our hard drives. They consider it unimportant as well. They said they won't be using Npcs as much. They want to make this game feel as realistic as possible. We can't have everything we want in a game.
-
1 pointI would say if that is such a case players should let it slide. There will be no nudity in the game, so they should skip the shame and get back to doing what they were doing.
-
1 point$40.00/HR, cute. Over at Alpha Military Corporation we pay upwards of $2,500 every 30-60 minutes depending on the package. And oh, we have shotguns and rifles because our client is top priority

1 pointThere is the very good reasons why they won't add children, sex and babies. babies would have to be a NPC and no NPC's like that. Child avatars is a no incase people go and plan kidnapping's and are a pediphile IRL and try enact a plan/ strategy to kidnap or rape kids. Sex is a no so that the game doesn't get a ban off social media sites. Also no nudity (The player models don't have genitals). Not having these things doesn't make it not a full MMORPG, as not every game has everything or as much freedom as this game. Some things are better sacrificed for other things.
-
1 pointMarrying someone can easily be done just by interaction between players. It goes like one player approaches another one and asks over voice chat "Hey, can I marry you?" and they'll respond. When both agree to the marriage, you can exchange a ring in your inventories possibly customized to have your names on 'em. You have the tools to roleplay it, it doesn't need to be a feature.

1 pointThanks for the clarification TheoGT! Funding for basic emergency services, such as police and fire will be primarily through taxation. I have yet to determine the percentage of taxes by income and how they will be distributed. I am in contact with the police officers over at the Precinct and I will be taking into account their opinions about what they think is a sufficient amount of funding to be able to operate a successful police force. Other policies like the ones you mentioned are dependent upon how much of it is already established in-game. My hope is that the government will be able to have control over a vast majority of policies and laws. If so, speed limits will be standard, and other essential laws will be in-place and enforced. Police officers will have the authority to enforce the law to it's fullest extent and punish those who are not following the law. There will be no place for abuse of power, police brutality, corrupt officers, or any of the such under my office. I will have strict policies and procedures to prevent such events from occurring. I would also love to have open communication with citizens if they have an experience with the police that they think should have been handled differently. Police actions such as tasers and the use of force will be set and monitored under a strict set of guidelines and laws. Police officers may find themselves in difficult situations where they must choose between using force and not. My goal is that through training and experience these officers make the best decision possible, even in the worst of situations. Specifically, to answer your question, tasers will only be used under these circumstances: 1) The individual is detained. 2) The individual is resisting arrest 3) The individual poses a direct threat to the arresting officer (has a weapon, is charging at the officer, etc) I hope I have answered your questions sufficiently. As always, please ask me for any clarifications or new questions. All the best, Bobby Cruz

1 pointSo is it my understanding that you are distributing not only handguns, but rifles and shotguns to civilians with little to no training? Is this a private security company that rents out security to potential clients? If yes, how are you combining this with your (possible) political ambitions? Does this company have any effect on your stance on gun control, as a politician? What will you do with the profits from this company? Kind regards, Barry L. Crow

Content that was deleted was removed for a reason, even if the reason is unclear. 5. Demonstrate or perpetuate toxic behavior. A user is considered toxic if they repeatedly make defamatory, threatening, insulting, or otherwise hateful remarks toward other users or staff. Please keep language civil when expressing your opinions. 6. Advertise websites or services unrelated to Identity. We do not sell advertising space on the Identity forums. 7. Cross Post. Cross-posting makes it difficult for users using the search function to find relevant information, and may be considered spam. 8. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. 9. Abuse reports. Reporting content with blank or inaccurate report descriptions will hinder a moderator's capacity to help. Please report content that is in violation of the rules, and not simply because you personally dislike another user. 10. Engage rule violators. You may accidentally violate these rules yourself by responding to others that you feel aren’t following these guidelines. 11. Make low-effort posts. Contribute useful information to the discussion, and avoid going off-topic. 12. Discuss Politics/Religion. These subjects are sensitive and may offend others. (There is a small place for fantasy politics within Identity's ecosystem. The Governor position will be able to tweak small settings within the game world, and must compete against others for power. The political systems within Identity are simplified and do not accurately reflect the processes involved with political discourse in the real world. Players may implicitly take inspiration from existing candidates or parties, but must not show any connections to real world politics through the use of logos/symbols, names (of existing leaders, existing parties, or of those within recent history), or slogans. By affiliating your party with a real world political faction, you are bringing such politics into discussion and grabbing the attention of those who recognize it. Real world politics typically invoke a strong emotional response in some viewers and can lead to vehement conflicts extremely quickly.) 13. Create multiple accounts. Only one account per person is authorized, so forum users can be easily identified. Avoiding a ban may result in further permanent action. 14. Operate a shared account. Sharing an account with another user will make conversation difficult should any of the account operators share a difference in opinion. Conflicting statements will impede our ability to help assist any single user on a shared account. Due to this, we request that each account is operated by a single, separate user. 15. Create forum posts that mention specific users in the title. Creating a new topic with the title specifically mentioning another user isn’t conducive to group discussion, especially if the targeted user isn’t comfortable responding in an open format. (For example, don’t make posts like “@usernamehere, why is x and not y?”) If you’re asking a question directly to another user, please do so using the inbox function on the forums. 16. Post Personal Information, or post links containing personal information. Sharing information about others can be harmful to their real-life. 17. Use forum features in unintended ways. Asking for likes, or making a game that incorporates the like/follow buttons artificially inflates user forum stats, making it difficult for other users to determine which content or user is contributing popular content to the site. 18. Discuss Moderator or Administrator actions Publicly. There are often reasons why a decision is made by a moderator or administrator that may be unclear to outside-parties, and off-topic discussion about an admin or moderator decision may be disruptive to a conversation. We politely ask that you trust and respect decisions made by staff. If you have an issue with a specific staff member, please report the matter to a Community Manager. 19. Impersonate Asylum Entertainment Staff or Moderators. When users seek assistance from moderators or Asylum staff, they shouldn't need to worry about encountering the possibility of dealing with an impostor. Always heed the official titles for staff roles on both the forums and discord to help avoid confusion. 20. Intentionally Spread False Information. Spreading rumors you know are falsified and portraying them as fact will only complicate Identity's development and serves to derail the actual constructive criticism offered by other users. Even accidentally giving out false information can be dangerous, so please ask a staff member or reference official statements (Dev Blogs for example). 21. Post or link to illegal, dangerous, offensive or NSFW content. Do not engage in activities that include (but are not limited to) the sharing of sexually explicit content, piracy, malicious code execution (viruses, malware, spyware etc.), gore. Please keep posts pertaining to the M-rated content in Identity reasonable. 22. Create or operate an account with the intention of solely boosting or supporting another user's reputation, poll votes, or opinions. We ask that all users contribute to the forums in ways that don't simply perpetuate someone else's particular viewpoint or account statistics. ***Moderators and staff have the final say on all matters. If you would like to report moderator abuse, contact a Community Manager directly. Creating public threads or posts that question or reference administrative decisions or potential administrative decisions is not permitted.*** ***Freedom of speech rights do not extend to privately owned websites, such as this one.
