1 pointHey Guys, I thought I would share with you a little guide I designed a few years ago for businesses in Arma 3 Life. It's a simple business model that worked pretty well. It's more or less an algorithm for any business you choose to make. It allows for your employees to be paid, and will minimize them breaking off for sole profit. It is purposely written so that anyone can understand. --------------- Business Model System This is the business model system for maximum efficiency for any business. This model uses a percentage based pay and is designed to be easily modified and easily implemented. Here is the Key for the following guide: A- Overhead (This is the money you need to cover your expenses) B- Profit (This is the money you make after your initial investment has been covered) C- Employee Payroll (This is the money for you to pay your employees) D- Investors Payroll (This is the money to pay your investors) ----------------- Generally speaking you need to arrange all of your investors payroll and your employee payroll to only come from your profits. It is important to remember what your total investment is, your profit, and your payroll. Be sure that you keep an eye on your finances. This is an example of the business model: Your total Overhead (A) is $1000 You have one investor, who has invested $1000 into your business in exchange for 5% of your profit (B). This places a $20,000 valuation on your company. You have one employee plus yourself. Your employees and investors make 5% of your profits. From 100% of your profit (B), you now owe 10%, which leaves you with 90% of your profit. Your profit is $5000. This means that $250 goes to your investor, $250 goes to your employees. 90% of your profit or $4500 is now left over. You invest $2000 into your Overhead this time. You have the same amount of investors. Your company's valuation is still only $20,000. You have gained another employee plus yourself. You have banked $2500. If your profit from a $1000 investment was $5000, this means you made $6000 from the total investment. In turn you expect to make double because of your investment of $2000. This puts you at a $10,000 profit. 5% of $10,000 is $500. You pay your employees $500 and your investor $500. This leaves you with a total of $9000 profit. This algorithm is a progressive system. You do not have to pay any specific percentage, I was simply explaining the math with the easy percentages. ---------------- Q: Why would someone work for me, if they could make the same amount as me? A: Your employee pays no overhead, he uses your equipment, he uses your services, he uses your resources. He has no risk involved. If he is robbed, it is not his money he is losing. (Or She). Also, your employee will scale with more employees and more profit. Whereas if he were to do it all on his own, he would make the same singular profit without the ability to scale, unless he were to create his own company. (Or She). Not to mention, you could promote the employee to making more of a percentage. Q: Why not split the profits evenly? A: You can do that! Except you do need to take out your next expenses before dividing up the profit. Always cover your next venture. Q: Why bank the money? A: The reason for banking your money is insurance. If you are robbed, or an expensive piece of equipment is lost, stolen, or broken, you need to be able to cover those expenses. You pay yourself, the same amount as you pay your employees. You bank the remainder for upgrades and incidentals. Q: Is this the only system that works? A: Heavens no. There are many different systems that work, this is just an easy one to start with until you get your feet wet. ----------------------- Should you have any questions, or anything you would like to add to this guide (Business Model) please reply and leave a comment.

Some of us have been through our own forms of hell, and because of FNF MC, we have been strong enough to conquer them. All of this, makes us a tighter family than most other motorcycle clubs can offer, and makes FNF one of the best clubs to be part of. Our Mission Feared N Fearless' mission is to become the most reputable and respected motorcycle club in the servers we establish our charter(s) in, and become the most known motorcycle club across this community. Our focus is on loyalty, dedication, and longevity, and becoming the most respected and reputable will aid us in our focus. No matter the server, no matter community groups, we will be known and respected anywhere we go. We know respect and reputation is something that must be earned, and we will let nothing stand in our way to accomplish our mission. This mission even carries over into our recruitment, because earning your place here will be no easy task. We want to continue our brotherhood and have no care for quantity, only quality brothers here for the betterment of the club. 1% We are a "1% Motorcycle Club" and we flaunt it proudly, because we believe in, and defend, our rights and freedoms, even if the law, government, media, or even society is standing in our way. The American Motorcycle Association wants to label and shame us by calling us outlaw bikers, and we proudly accept that labeling, even if it gives us a stigma to society. We govern ourselves and hold ourselves accountable to different standard of law, and if it conflicts with society's law, so be it. Some of our members may become involved in criminal activity or there may be even convicts within our ranks, but this doesn't reflect the club because we don't encourage violence or illegal activities. Any illegal activities any member becomes part of, is their decision, not the club's. What We Do We party, we ride, we fight, we do anything we want, whenever we want to do it. We hold rides, runs, shows, charities, parties, national celebrations, and even conventions to mix it up with our neighbors and friends. With that being said, our business is our own. Any club business is not discussed with anyone outside the club, and we respect and defend our right to privacy. Whatever our business is, if the public needs to know about it, we will make sure they know. We are always looking for fellow enthusiasts and free thinkers, who are searching for like minded individuals to challenge and expand their world and perception. We also offer aid to anyone who needs it and feels they have no where else to turn. We even plan on getting involved in the business sector and, if possible, the sporting sector. Our History Our history is a long and twisted story still being written today. It is a collection from our original members, who began it all, to our newest members, who help shape our present, and write our future. To fully understand FNF MC and why we are the way we are, you must first understand where we started, where our father's started, and where our grand father's started. We must start in 1948 with Original Red Devils MC. Chapter 1: The Origins Chapter 2: Dogs And War How To Join Like mentioned above, joining this motorcycle club is no easy task. We have severe trust issues, and it does take a long time for FNF to fully trust anyone. We are not, what we call, a "Hand Out Club", which will give out patched positions, instead we believe you must earn your place here. Becoming part of the club requires members to not only probate for us, but to first hang around with the club so we can get to know you, and for you to get to know us. This process can take time, but proves to us who wants to truly be part of this club, and who would just like to say they are. Dedication and loyalty are just some of the qualities that can help you through this process, but this process is different for everyone. We believe in the motto; "You Get What You Give" and only give the patch to those who have earned the right to call themselves a member of Feared N Fearless MC. 1 pointHey anxious players/Devs! So I came up with this idea an hour ago and I think it would be a good idea to add K9s and K9 Handlers. These are specially trained officers which obviously travel around with their K9 when needed - can be used in situations such as a drug busts, locating a suspect/s which has gone out of sight of police officers in the area and possibly other situations. The handler would be able to name, command and create a relationship with them. When you start your job, you choose the gender, name of your new battle pup and train it. Once ready to hit the streets, the handler would have a K9 Marked vehicle and would be ready to accept calls where the K9 is needed to subdue someone who is resisting verbal commands or is becoming physically violent towards officers or other civilians within the area. Pros to K9 Handler: 1) Adds more diversity to the Law Enforcement, other than the regular S.W.A.T. Units or other specialized units that may be already available. 2) Gives a more immersive experience to locating a perp when in pursuit of them as they would be able to pick up a scent should an article of clothing (example) be present that belongs to the perp, not just asking for any sightings of them or CCTV footage. 3) Drug busts could become more interesting and allow for more challenges in locating any hidden narcotics or other rec. drugs which would be legal, unless deemed legal by the President/Governor/Head of State etc. Drugs could be hidden under hard to reach places such as floorboards, frame of car etc or behind areas such as blocked passage ways only large enough for the K9 or a *Police EOD Bot to fit through 4) The K9 would automatically defend the officers should someone attempt to harm them (unless kept on leash ) or released from their leash. May be injured and/or killed in the line of duty as any other living, serving officer does. Cons to K9 Handler: 1) Custom sounds, models and walking/running/injured animations must be made along with implementation of A.I. specifically for the K9. 2) May be an unpopular job - meaning that the job would not be given enough attention worth for the amount of time/effort put into it to implement the idea. Thanks for reading this post, this is my first actual thread I've made - I attempted to add one about gun mechanics and I got signed out somehow, was super in-depth and took ages to write, never mind - as long as I can try to give any ideas along with everyone else I'm good! Looking forward to this game, hope it will be as feature packed and immersive as it seems to be as of the YouTube Demo video (looked brilliant by the way - well done, keep it going!) I will be getting the Founder rank hopefully soon before the prices change and whatnot! *Police EOD Bot - would have the ability to be remotely controlled and to view using a I.R./Heat Seeking camera with 360 degrees rotational view. Would be able to disarm simple/home made bombs or other explosives which pose a threat to the public. Similar as to the EOD Bot which can be found in Battlefield 3/4!

1 pointJust an update. As I check every weekend, today I have seen quite a significant step updards in the number of new citicens and no less impressive increase in the raised money. While not the same date in last month, this has happend around the same date, which makes me think this update is done more or less monthly. If anyone is interested, numbers have gone from last weekend report to today like this: 9,431 -> 10,798 citizens 371,507 -> 432,517 dollars raised Of course we are talking thousands. The 'coma' separator is because we are talking about USD. This increase is noticeabely higher than the previous month. I will probably start making some graphic, as there's really not much more to do until we get the first module, hopefully soon

1 pointThe answer is not specifically known, we can only say soon and well Q1 is when it is due to release if not delayed. Q1 ends after march and so expect it by the end of march, also the progress ar is manually updated when the devs feel that they have hit a milestone of work/ progress. The devs will also make an announcement before the release of the module which most game devs do that at least 1 week before the release. Also they will most likely feature the next game-play "gun customisation" mechanics also before the module release.

1 pointWhile that would be ideal, it's hard to organize the event so that they can all participate at the same time . A simple solution to remedy this, however, is that the citizens wishing to ask questions PM me their questions. That would keep their anonymity, still allow their involvment, and make sure the candidates can't prepare for questions. Thanks for pointing this out, I'm sure this solution will be for the best!

1 pointWhat a crazy several weeks since the last dev blog post! The increased exposure and attention from the apartment video has resulted in a surge of additional funding for Identity, which has translated into an expanded team with two new full-time developers coming on board and more to join soon. Work has been going very well. Motown, your community manager, has started transitioning into the role of producer to help manage our expanding team. This has helped to reduce some of the work-load on myself so it's been a very welcome change and he's proving to be great for the role. Our lead character artist, Miroslav, has been hard at work on numerous enhancements including building our makeup and blemish systems. This will give us the freedom to add all kinds of makeup options, especially for females but also for men. Your options at character creation will be a bit limited, but a vanity table will let you customize your makeup much further. Blemishes allow us to modify the skin in a whole lot of ways, from just a little blush on the cheeks to full-body freckles and more. Miroslav has also done an excellent job expanding eye customization for your characters which won't just tint the color of the iris but change its entire pattern to properly match the styles seen in those eyes in reality. He's also expanded our options for hair and facial hair. Feature development has also been going quickly and smoothly. Among others, we've built the contacts and friends systems which will be available in the Town Square module. When you meet people in the world you'll be able to exchange contact information, adding their number and name to your phone. This then acts like a friends list in other games, but you can even text or phone them with real working voice systems. It's also integrated with your Steam friends to make finding them easier. Environment art is also moving along, with several artists working full-time to give you beautiful environments. We've hired on some more artists and are even reworking some of the earlier assets we produced to bring the up to our now higher standards. Identity YouTube channel PowerGaming7 had the chance to speak with myself and Motown for a while after asking his viewers for a bunch of questions to ask. The result was an almost one hour long video where we shared all sorts of information you may not have heard before. You can find the link to this video right here. Once again, I want to thank every one of you for your continued support! Every pledge that comes in goes straight into the development of new features and helps us get the game to you a little bit faster. 1 pointHello, the reason I've come here to ask this is because me and a small party of friends have been traveling from many different mmo's trying to find a new game to really sink our teeth into but the biggest issue we've had is having to spend A LOT of money just to get access to half of the games features after paying for the game itself. Example: we've purchased a game for £25/$30 which allows us access to create our characters and play BUT if we want a house or maybe a car/mount we'd often end up having to pay ANOTHER £25/$30 just for that. We don't mind paying for the game itself after all developers have to earn money and we all don't mind putting money towards that and we are no strangers to hard work so things such as grinding are completely fine so long as theres no pay to with issues. Anyway what we want to know is... 1). The houses we can buy within the game could we earn the money within the game OR do we have to place real life money towards it ? 2). Things such as vehicles, clothing, decorations ect ect can we also purchase it through hard work in the game OR do we have to put real life money towards it ? 3). For us to climb up in rank (if there is a ranking system in the game) do we have to put real life money towards that as well ? NOTE: I know this will come off as ungrateful so I do apologize in advance, we've had some real nasty luck with up coming mmo's lately and the biggest issues are either having to put large amounts of money towards them just to get anywhere or "pay to win" issues. We are really interested in this game because it really appeals to our role playing BUT we just don't feel right purchasing a "passport" without knowing the following questions above so I hope you can understand where we are coming from here.

1 pointWhen a vehicle is parked in an illegal area, such as in front of a hydrant or without paying a parking meter, their vehicle becomes flagged for fining. What this means is that they won't automatically receive a ticket; however, if an officer notices their vehicle they'll have the ability to give the corresponding ticket.
