7 pointsWhat a crazy several weeks since the last dev blog post! The increased exposure and attention from the apartment video has resulted in a surge of additional funding for Identity, which has translated into an expanded team with two new full-time developers coming on board and more to join soon. Work has been going very well. Motown, your community manager, has started transitioning into the role of producer to help manage our expanding team. This has helped to reduce some of the work-load on myself so it's been a very welcome change and he's proving to be great for the role. Our lead character artist, Miroslav, has been hard at work on numerous enhancements including building our makeup and blemish systems. This will give us the freedom to add all kinds of makeup options, especially for females but also for men. Your options at character creation will be a bit limited, but a vanity table will let you customize your makeup much further. Blemishes allow us to modify the skin in a whole lot of ways, from just a little blush on the cheeks to full-body freckles and more. Miroslav has also done an excellent job expanding eye customization for your characters which won't just tint the color of the iris but change its entire pattern to properly match the styles seen in those eyes in reality. He's also expanded our options for hair and facial hair. Feature development has also been going quickly and smoothly. Among others, we've built the contacts and friends systems which will be available in the Town Square module. When you meet people in the world you'll be able to exchange contact information, adding their number and name to your phone. This then acts like a friends list in other games, but you can even text or phone them with real working voice systems. It's also integrated with your Steam friends to make finding them easier. Environment art is also moving along, with several artists working full-time to give you beautiful environments. We've hired on some more artists and are even reworking some of the earlier assets we produced to bring the up to our now higher standards. Identity YouTube channel PowerGaming7 had the chance to speak with myself and Motown for a while after asking his viewers for a bunch of questions to ask. The result was an almost one hour long video where we shared all sorts of information you may not have heard before. You can find the link to this video right here. Once again, I want to thank every one of you for your continued support! Every pledge that comes in goes straight into the development of new features and helps us get the game to you a little bit faster. The attention we've seen over the last couple of months has been staggering, and we are excited to show you more of the gameplay soon!

3 pointsHi to everybody who cares to read my little introduction First of all I would like to say that this game looks promising thus far and impressed me enough to donate for the VIP package. @Paratus and @Motown both seem very genuine, determined and passionate to make this game a success so the choice was an easy one to make. I wish you both the utmost success. And now onto the introduction. I am 27 years old living in the beautiful province of British Columbia. Vancouver to be exact. And well... honestly I'm surprised that you are still reading this. In fact I'm urged to ask you an important question you should ponder... WHY? Besides, there is not anything else to know about me so... Goodbye. Sayonara. Adios. ... Still continuing to read I see... There is honestly nothing else. You should spend your time elsewhere, more productively. ... Unless... unless... unless you want to know the fact that I'm currently awake when I shouldn't be since I have 4 hours till my shift at the hospital starts and I have not slept since waking up 20 hours ago. That probably explains this extremely disturbing introduction I'm currently attempting but sadly failing miserably at typing. Lacking clear direction and focus... that's something I don't want in Identity. No... I want to actually achieve something in this game. Believe it or not, I'm actually pretty good at video games. However, it seems in my current mindset it's apparent that I need a miracle... a miracle?... a... Miracle. Hello again! Still not working. This is getting a little longer than I had anticipated and yet you know nothing about me. At least nothing positive. It is actually hopeless... I really need to sleep. I REALLY need to sleep... I REALLY NEED TO SLEEP. That's it. I've convinced myself. I guess that ability is considered a positive? please? Goodnight. Miracle sorry if I hurt your head.

2 pointsWow thank you both for such a warm welcome To answer your questions 1) I most look forward to in identity is the customization and the social aspect. I love the idea of coming home from my normal job and taking on the role of someone completely different whether that be a criminal mastermind or a police officer. I am a Lieutenant on the Asylum Servers so the Cop side is my preference so being able to get immersed in that in environment is something I am very much looking forward too. 2) My goals in identity are to very much the same in Asylum, have fun, help others and help those around me have fun. And really get immersed in what is coming up to be my most anticipated game !!

1 pointHello all of the Identity police community, my name is Ken I spent five years as a military police officer and would love to assist here. I have read many of you're posts over the past few days and seen many questions I could assist with along with the real life aspect. Tactical movements, communications, FPO (Force Protection Operations) and then yeah then general policing the everyday citizen. Myself and my girlfriend (Ayala) are both on the forums so feel free to contact either one of us. Hoo Yah

1 pointThis is my little introduction, My name is Will I am a Mech Engineer living in the United Kingdom. I have been gaming for a very long time it's my little getaway from reality. I play a variety of games at am currently into Far Cry Primal alongside Rainbow Six Siege. I also play a lot of Star Wars the Old Republic I am also one of the Administrators on Asylum's Entertainment's "Altis Life" mission file on Arma 3. I have been a member of the community for 2 years + and the Identity project is something that I am hugely anticipating for the future. I am usually quite busy over on the Asylum forums and haven't been very active over here so hopefully, this will change as I've got a bit more free time to myself. In my free time other than gaming I do a lot of cooking, fishing and various other bits and pieces. I am also completing my Private Pilots License with an end goal of moving out to Florida and getting my Commercial Pilots license hopefully sometime in the next couple of years. I am also a big Disney and Star Wars Nerd! I really look forward to being a bigger part of this community, and hopefully, I'll see a few over in the Town Square !!

1 pointThis is how my department works. We have a team that is always on call but never patrols as swat. Instead, swat members have other roles. So a patrol guy who is on the team is only called in for swat details when needed.

1 point@Arky First of all adding bots are not going to give a complete accurate test and that is why they would still have to test with 300 players, which will be in the beta because that will be the closest thing to the full game. That being said, the devs didn't state that 300 was what they have tested, they only stated that 300 players was a goal to achieve. This clearly does not determine that they have even stress tested it. The first module is not no where near the complete game, the complete game will consist of all 3 modules and more. The map is not completely finished yet and also there are only a few test cars in the game which well also the map don't have all places completed likely which are the towns and also the objects. No one has any idea as the devs have not made that public knowledge other than it being affordable. Yes they can get a feeling around the amount but it still doesn't tell you a lot when most of the game is missing.

1 pointI've been following that game since it was first announced. I watched some gameplay of it and immediately realized that it had some amazing potential for Roleplay. The weapon and character customization and setting is just too good not to try. I think the game look amazing.

1 pointI think it's fine to do text chat. It just means you have to try and get your point across through text. Just like SAMP

1 pointNo, If I was someone with in the project, I would never take a single day off. I am just a person with a lot of knowledge of the game. like @Arky said above, but I however wish to be apart of it in some way and so I am helping with answering as many questions on the forum I know that have been confirmed.

1 pointThey want players to be in most positions, NPC's would be in the most boring uneventful areas. I believe

1 pointAll modules will be available when they are released until beta comes out. I'll be the same way probably, though I do plan on at least trying the others at least once.

1 pointhttps://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ £1900 but if you wanna give me a build which includes those main parts GPU: GTX 1080, HDD: 3 TB, CPU: i7 6700k, MSI Motherboard. RAM: 32 GB. I am not fussed over 4k, I just want 1440p or 1080p. I would but It is too expensive. Also I am not bragging, I am just stating what I want to get... I don't have that, I just put the budget as £2000 because that is the max I am willing to spend. ( Well I guess I said it like I was bragging) but really I meant I have a fairly decent pc but I need a new CPU as it is like a i5 3340 or something and because I also want to have a work station I think I might as well go for the best possible one under my budget. Nah sorry, this pc is not for sale, I want it more as a work station and maybe I will stream through on this one so I don't lag a lot on that one but maybe will stream mainly on the new pc as this will be more a work station. I know, it is more for speed of the computer processing things. I hate slow computers and I may stream on it.

1 pointNo corrupt cops. Well that's a relief. We have too much of that crap here in the real world. We go to virtual worlds to escape harsh realities such as that. Sign me up. Side note: After hearing that bit of good news, I think my career in Identity will be law enforcement. I don't plan on enlisting to be a jackass, I plan on doing it for the honor.

1 pointWhile you would be driving using your keyboard and mouse, I will be using my steering wheel; which is what I have done with a bus on GTA V for 8 or more hours in 1 go.

1 pointWhen it comes out. You can't tell me not to be vague when this question is asked every other week. And it always is given the same answer. If they take the time to search it up they wouldn't have to get replies like that now would they.

1 pointHey Kracken! Welcome to the Identity community! People like yourself with experience in law enforcement will be a healthy benefit to the police career in this game. We hope we'll receive your approval by hopefully doing a good job representing law enforcement in Identity!
