Yes, if you pledge $30 or more you can play all 3 modules, beta and full release. Anything more than $30 just get you more in-game items.

The part about special moves that makes you do more damage, Just no thank you because in real life you don't get "Special" moves to make bullets do more damage..... That's more fantasy and not realistic, well I don't welcome anything like that. The rest I can say that like Jack said there will be people who do it anyways.

Hey Guys, I thought I would share with you a little guide I designed a few years ago for businesses in Arma 3 Life. It's a simple business model that worked pretty well. It's more or less an algorithm for any business you choose to make. It allows for your employees to be paid, and will minimize them breaking off for sole profit. It is purposely written so that anyone can understand. --------------- Business Model System This is the business model system for maximum efficiency for any business. This model uses a percentage based pay and is designed to be easily modified and easily implemented. Here is the Key for the following guide: A- Overhead (This is the money you need to cover your expenses) B- Profit (This is the money you make after your initial investment has been covered) C- Employee Payroll (This is the money for you to pay your employees) D- Investors Payroll (This is the money to pay your investors) ----------------- Generally speaking you need to arrange all of your investors payroll and your employee payroll to only come from your profits. It is important to remember what your total investment is, your profit, and your payroll. Be sure that you keep an eye on your finances. This is an example of the business model: Your total Overhead (A) is $1000 You have one investor, who has invested $1000 into your business in exchange for 5% of your profit (B). This places a $20,000 valuation on your company. You have one employee plus yourself. Your employees and investors make 5% of your profits. From 100% of your profit (B), you now owe 10%, which leaves you with 90% of your profit. Your profit is $5000. This means that $250 goes to your investor, $250 goes to your employees. 90% of your profit or $4500 is now left over. You invest $2000 into your Overhead this time. You have the same amount of investors. Your company's valuation is still only $20,000. You have gained another employee plus yourself. You have banked $2500. If your profit from a $1000 investment was $5000, this means you made $6000 from the total investment. In turn you expect to make double because of your investment of $2000. This puts you at a $10,000 profit. 5% of $10,000 is $500. You pay your employees $500 and your investor $500. This leaves you with a total of $9000 profit. This algorithm is a progressive system. You do not have to pay any specific percentage, I was simply explaining the math with the easy percentages. ---------------- Q: Why would someone work for me, if they could make the same amount as me? A: Your employee pays no overhead, he uses your equipment, he uses your services, he uses your resources. He has no risk involved. If he is robbed, it is not his money he is losing. (Or She). Also, your employee will scale with more employees and more profit. Whereas if he were to do it all on his own, he would make the same singular profit without the ability to scale, unless he were to create his own company. (Or She). Not to mention, you could promote the employee to making more of a percentage. Q: Why not split the profits evenly? A: You can do that! Except you do need to take out your next expenses before dividing up the profit. Always cover your next venture. Q: Why bank the money? A: The reason for banking your money is insurance. If you are robbed, or an expensive piece of equipment is lost, stolen, or broken, you need to be able to cover those expenses. You pay yourself, the same amount as you pay your employees. You bank the remainder for upgrades and incidentals. Q: Is this the only system that works? A: Heavens no. There are many different systems that work, this is just an easy one to start with until you get your feet wet. ----------------------- Should you have any questions, or anything you would like to add to this guide (Business Model) please reply and leave a comment.

Hey anxious players/Devs! So I came up with this idea an hour ago and I think it would be a good idea to add K9s and K9 Handlers. These are specially trained officers which obviously travel around with their K9 when needed - can be used in situations such as a drug busts, locating a suspect/s which has gone out of sight of police officers in the area and possibly other situations. The handler would be able to name, command and create a relationship with them. When you start your job, you choose the gender, name of your new battle pup and train it. Once ready to hit the streets, the handler would have a K9 Marked vehicle and would be ready to accept calls where the K9 is needed to subdue someone who is resisting verbal commands or is becoming physically violent towards officers or other civilians within the area. Pros to K9 Handler: 1) Adds more diversity to the Law Enforcement, other than the regular S.W.A.T. Units or other specialized units that may be already available. 2) Gives a more immersive experience to locating a perp when in pursuit of them as they would be able to pick up a scent should an article of clothing (example) be present that belongs to the perp, not just asking for any sightings of them or CCTV footage. 3) Drug busts could become more interesting and allow for more challenges in locating any hidden narcotics or other rec. drugs which would be legal, unless deemed legal by the President/Governor/Head of State etc. Drugs could be hidden under hard to reach places such as floorboards, frame of car etc or behind areas such as blocked passage ways only large enough for the K9 or a *Police EOD Bot to fit through 4) The K9 would automatically defend the officers should someone attempt to harm them (unless kept on leash ) or released from their leash. May be injured and/or killed in the line of duty as any other living, serving officer does. Cons to K9 Handler: 1) Custom sounds, models and walking/running/injured animations must be made along with implementation of A.I. specifically for the K9. 2) May be an unpopular job - meaning that the job would not be given enough attention worth for the amount of time/effort put into it to implement the idea. Thanks for reading this post, this is my first actual thread I've made - I attempted to add one about gun mechanics and I got signed out somehow, was super in-depth and took ages to write, never mind - as long as I can try to give any ideas along with everyone else I'm good! Looking forward to this game, hope it will be as feature packed and immersive as it seems to be as of the YouTube Demo video (looked brilliant by the way - well done, keep it going!) I will be getting the Founder rank hopefully soon before the prices change and whatnot! *Police EOD Bot - would have the ability to be remotely controlled and to view using a I.R./Heat Seeking camera with 360 degrees rotational view. Would be able to disarm simple/home made bombs or other explosives which pose a threat to the public. Similar as to the EOD Bot which can be found in Battlefield 3/4!

Hello to the Identity Development Team... I'm Azkaban from EVOLVE game clan management, graphics design, etc! I spent 60$ pledge to start off helping you guys out with development with the understanding that it takes a strong supportive community and a very very effort driven group to get things like this done, and I've been waiting for a game like this for years, drawing up plans to make my own given I acquire the tools. As a few ideas, just to make things more custom to the people with that bit of OOMPH in their artistic ability... Tattoos should have some sort of way to be created by other players to be changed or added to your character for a cost in a kiosk or shop of some kind, and naturally, it'd be great to have AI and NPCs working together a little bit, considering yes, it is community driven, which I love, and the people who pay aren't going to be some lil' tikes with bad attitudes making rules they shouldn't be able to touch. Certain shop owning NPCs or different purpose NPCs would be great, such as a Tattoo Artist, a Police Chief that designates certain things to certain people, tasks may you have it, a voice over for dispatchers, etc. I do voice acting too a little so I understand how it can be when all you can do is read, but a dispatcher for police, occasional calls from the bill collector with warnings or enthusiasm about your rent or ideas to spruce up your apartments, and for people who wish to learn, give them the optional ability to pay out a few greenbacks to accompany an experienced player (the cash will be payed to the player) to complete a set list of objectives, like, tell the player in chat about each of the features you're required to visit to complete the $ reward / payment. I feel like Taxi drivers are important for the economy and hopefully they'll be around since bikes aren't always the best way to get to work (I know because I biked two hours to work for a week once when my car nearly killed my flying off the road in real life).... Creativity on your cars post-dealership would be amazing, and if you're going to upstart a community small business or shop with your own custom made items or re-sale retail shipments, selling them on the shelves, it'd be amazing if you could import your own images or use an in-game creator with shapes and lettering and other symbols, to design your storefront socketed signs, billboards, and internet ads (which would be great to have popping up on the in-game internet) Also, hopefully this has been thought out, and I guarantee you with the right minds it has! Phones! Home phones for VoIP communications and calls with numbers you register with 7 digits (hopefully non-taken ones, gotta keep people from recieving weirdo double calls) that can be added to a player's contacts or an address book in their CELL PHONES with the same basic function, except based on what you payed for the phone and what type it is, you could also get a smartphone that brings up internet, plays streamed music or videos, AND mayhaps aside from calls text messages and simulated emails for your characters. Also to connect the community together, I think that in-game facebook thing would be cool, in a way, but the same way GTA V Online has Life Invader, you could have a more clever name such as Ping Social Media outlets, where you can post to a profile where your phone or digital camera can take pictures of you, your friends, everyone hanging out together.... Also, when considering at-home chilling, partying, or just enjoying yourself in the office breakrooms of employee areas, such as at food places and/or misc stores and gas stations, you should be able to key-toggle to select different poses and positions on furniture, including base chat-triggered and open-world accessable emotes that apply to certain surfaces, such as smoking, drinking different drinks, and if it's legal or not based on placed laws, smoke up a joint in a coffee shop or on the street, depending on how bad you wanna risk arrest. Leaning on walls and street signs as well as the ability to select and interact with street light crosswalk signals in 1st and 3rd person... these things matter. The little details. Next thing is books, memoires, diaries, journals, these things can be great community binding publications that can be approved or rejected by in-game publishers, which those publishers make a percentage of sales alongside the book or material writer's royalties. As your everyday employed citizen, you have to be able to witness crimes and either call a player, interact with a menu to the police chief, or just simply try making a citizen's arrest or subdue the looney yourself, depending on how much gusto you've got. Any witness interaction should mark a player to another cop, in essence, you should be able to, as a cop, see a marked person marked for investigation, questioning, street-side interrogation, or marked with their offense such as DRUG TRAFFICKING or THEFT, or ASSAULT or BREAKING AND ENTERING... There's always a risk in games like this too where players just go balls to the wall aiming and mowing down anyone on the street they see with a gun, and this just isn't safe... If you're killed you shouldn't lose your goodies in your pockets or bag or whatever you may have, other than a portion of cash being robbed off you, in which case it's marked as armed robbery, or murder... Risking certain crimes, if caught, should get you landed behind bars... Behind bars, you should be able to play it out actively, doing pre-set jobs, or whatever may have you to gain points or cash towards bail or you can wait out the sentencing which should be roughly set based on crimes, examples such as (REAL TIME SENTENCING) Murder - 2 weeks (half a month) Armed Robbery - 1 week Shoplifting - 1 day.... Thing like this will cut down on people doing bad to other players without being in a criminal profession and making the active choice to risk these penalties... Other implications such as confiscation of weapons, drugs, cash (bail system), or whatever else may have you should apply, and vehicles and property involved in crimes directly should be able to be impounded or revoked from your use depending on the offense or what have you. Say if you rob some place or a bank and you use your owned vehicle, have it on impound for a fee, OR revoked if you ran someone over and killed them, where-as multiple charges could be applied, such as you have the player's court count against you with evidence and a conviction of murder, robbery, manslaughter, and whatever else applies, adding to the over-all sentencing, and revoking more if caught, (which getting caught shouldn't be the guarunteed outcome, considering criminals gotta make paper too, dawg) Any other ideas or feedback on these things from the developers or others is greatly appreciated. I won't be looking back on this post, but developers be aware that the email associated with my account is in fact the one you can use to contact me if you find anything in particular interesting, or you would like me to elaborate on something or seek my feedback. THANKS FOLKS! Also, question for the developers, will I be allowed to upload gameplay pre-beta when the Town Square piece is complete?

Hi all! This is my first post, but I've been lurking the forums for a while and it's great to be here! I had an idea for a particular business venture, pertaining to the field of advertising, media, and design. Agencies would be able to: - purchase billboards/poster spots around the map, which can then be used to generate income through displaying adverts. The potential for advert locations is practically limitless, and could be as simple as a concert poster on the wall of a cafe, but could be as complex as truck liveries, adverts on planes, or adverts on huge screens in the city centre. These could be interactive and would take customers directly to the webpage/store of the business. - work with businesses to design logos, create adverts, and promote their businesses - employ designers/consultants - create adverts for TV (with a similar system to Rockstar Editor, if it were ever to be implemented) Of course, an agency wishing to expand would need to purchase a studio, hire designers, and actively contact prospective businesses for future growth. This is a business I would certainly be interested in building in the world of Identity, so would be interested in seeing if there was interest from the rest of the community! Thanks, eljayb

Kevin finishes connecting the spark plug leads in the engine bay of his '99 Nissan Skyline GTR when he notices the time on the clock on the wall of his shop. "Christ, its damn near supper time" He gives his hands a quick wash before getting into the drivers seat of his car. Kevin closes his eyes and turns the key in the ignition. After stuttering for a second the engine roars to life.He revs the engine several times, each time he lets off a loud noise comes from the turbo blow off valve. Happy that everything seems in order he shuts the engine off and gets out, patting the roof of the car. "Don't worry girl, I'll have you back on the road in no time" Kevin turns his hat right way round, grabs his red plaid jacket and his sunglasses from the office and heads out into the rain. He tosses his jacket on and hooks his glasses onto the front of his t-shirts collar. He gets into his Impreza WRX STI and heads of into town. He parks outside of a small pub located near some apartment buildings. Kevin flips down the visor and opens the mirror. He runs his hand through his short sandy brown beard before trying to rub the fatigue out of his gunmetal blue eyes. After a few moments he flips the visor up and steps out. Kevin stops outside of the door and pulls out a pack of cigarettes and knocks one out of the pack, grabbing it with his lips. He replaces the pack into the breast pocket on his coat while grabbing a zippo out. After lighting the smoke he takes a long drag, enjoying the storm for a few moments.

This is a dream feature for sure, something that could be implemented post-global launch of all modules, if the game really kicks off. After all, the level of communication between the player and the server is likely astonishingly high already and adding anything on top of that impacts not only performance but cost of maintaining those servers. Harmonious balance in Identity between the "Cops & Robbers" is likely one of the toughest hurdles for the team, with that in mind it would be hard to justify the fluffy companion to be available to a select few Police officers without giving the Criminals some way to counter it. I could be wrong, but it would make more sense to me to see them simply add to the pre-existing plans to allow players to have pets. At this time they've said that players will eventually be able to keep pets (Dogs & Cats) in their apartments, but will have no place in the outside world. If they reach the point where they can comfortably allow players to have Dogs in the sandbox (does not make much sense to bring your cat, but I guess you could) then they'll likely make it available to all players, regardless of "profession". However, doggos will undoubtedly be made hard to get, seeing them all over the place would be hella weird and we know all too well that the team is pushing for realism. If an officer can be accompanied by a K9 unit that can, by xPanda's example: Attack, defend, track and take damage - then we could assume that a Criminal's doggo could in turn "alert" the Criminal to an incoming Police presence. It wouldn't be crazy effective over long ranges and would likely be considered more of a min-maxing move for high flying officers/criminals. It's feasible to me only because if it's anything like real life, then it wouldn't take more than a few bullets to take out a hostile dog. But now we've got more questions that need answers, like whats going to happen to my dog once it's HP hits 0, is it only "downed"? Will it be destroyed permanently or perhaps re-spawn in my apartment? Can Dogs be stolen? Am I now worrying about a doggo talent tree? It's questions like these that keep me up at night, and why I could only see this being done once our boys are rolling in dollar dollar bills. Additionally, animal violence is tricky within the industry, especially of late as we see (for example) Fallout 4 refusing to allow the players canine companion "Dogmeat" to die. Unlike in Fallout 3 where Dogmeat could be viciously butchered, but this lead to players going as far as to sacrifice large chunks of progress to be reunited with their precious pupper and ultimately putting a downer on the gameplay experience. Touchy stuff like this waves a lot of unnecessary flags in the faces of those who Asylum Entertainment would, as indie Devs trying to make a name for themselves, prefer stay opened minded to the idea of playing Identity. At least, this is my assumption.. it all seems pretty ridiculous in the face of people shooting each other to death but hey that's the internet for you. For now I'm happy just to have a companion in my apartment, but would be super interested to hear more from them about how they would go about introducing our fluffy friends to the outside world.

if you buy the founder pack you will get access to the beta access and the modules which come before the beta. you can find them here. Right now there is no Alpha version, the closest thing to that is the 'Town Square Module', when complete you will be able to test out some of the game features like Character Creation and other stuff...

I think you could probably be a dog walkers/pet carer by forming friendships with people but I don't think they'd be able to do it as a job or career. Interesting idea tho. I know you can Farm and they are looking at having your pet follow you. So you could have kennels on a farm or something.

I don't have a link but I am very sure it was said on twitter as the question was asked. I doubt that will be possible if someone buys something cosmetic, then it is permanent to that persons account and therefore the account would have to be sold. @HairyGrenade can confirm casinos are in the game and that the Real World Transactions won't be possible!

The "Progress Bar" for the town square module is manually updated and also is only updated if the developers think they have hit a milestone with progress made on the development. So I would assume that both are manually updated. @Notic3

Sorry, I don't buy this. I could equally think that the Identity devs, after having done Altis Life mod, said "Hey, you know we could make actual money from this?", and so they started Identity. Now, I'm NOT saying the Identity devs just want to make money or that they don't have passion. That would be unfair. As it is thinking that way about Everywhere. I don't know if they put any passion in making GTA, but they made a damn great thing of it. On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with aiming to make money. Want to make lots of money? Then create an awesome game. Everyone happy. So you first say that they are not Rockstar, but then you assume this will be a P2W because "that's what they have been creating". This doesn't sound fair to me either. Moreover, we should give some thought about to what extent the gifts we backers are getting are purely cosmetic... I'm an Identity backer and want it to become the game I want to play, as much as you do, but I don't see why this means we should be against Everywhere. Besides, most of what I read here against Everywhere doesn't have very strong foundations.

Two bedroom, two and a half bath (one being an ensuite for the master bedroom), open concept kitchen, dining and living room with a brick fireplace. 2 office spaces (one for being a library/office and the other being a music for a possible piano + other instruments, and definitely a basement. A nice lawn and garden area, a decent front porch area, open concept main level, I'd like a patio area in the back for entertaining and a large enough backyard. I'd also like to put a basketball hoop somewhere.

The mini-map is a GPS on your phone. You'll need to bring up your phone to see it, or have one on your car dashboard while driving. Other players do not appear on the GPS. Cops probably won't be able to identify masked suspects until they catch them, or collect evidence left by them if they are in the detective role. @Zeus
