Like I said, the gang should go in and mold their character and stance in the environment that surrounds them. Grow, evolve, believe in, know and love your character. Don't just create a random crazy lunatic and run in guns blazing straight off of the literal highway to hell.. oh, and most importantly.. be consistent. Far too many people forget consistency.. one moment they're your friendly neighborhood farmer scrounging some bucks, the next a dangerous psychopathic lunatic mugging Charles the local bar keeper.. and often their excuse is they were "bored" and it's just a "game".. they forget, it's a role-play game.. people come here to role-play, not get bored and purge every few days.. =/

I have an issue with this whole FPS way of thinking and here are the reason why: 9mm Pistol average FPS is 1200 5.56 or .300 (average hunting rifle) 3000 fps General shotgun 2200 With the FPS you mentioned I assume you have limited knowledge on weapons and the use of them. A rifle, shotgun, pistol, and even a pellet gun can be deadly with the right user. I know the developers have been looking at ballistic reports trying to make gun fighting realistic but in the end you're FPS ideas just are not realistic. Police should have the same access to guns as civilians do but the rounds they have access to should be different. As many know you have HP (Hallow point) FMJ (Full Metal jacket) HE (High Explosive), and SP (Soft point) there are tons more but these are the basics. The gun no the public should have access to but the ammo no general ammo should be soft point while police use what the police chief allows. Moving on to SWAT and other special response units, these will be restricted weapons no one can own outside these groups. These will include your PSG1, M60, MP5A3, M240A1, etc.......... I think making you're gun laws much more basic don't try to get into FPS and all that because in reality it becomes much more complicated

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) 1. How are Kickstarter backers different from website backers? There is only one difference between backer rewards for the Kickstarter and website. Kickstarter backers will receive a unique in-game hat with the Kickstarter logo. Website backers receive a hat with the Identity logo. No new content in the future will ever display either of these logos. 2. Many people are confused on what the game is about. Would you mind telling us what your vision for the game is? Is the game more about Cops vs Robbers, or a balance between all the available paths? Identity is a cops and robbers game at heart, but it is a life simulator in so many other ways. We’re catering to role-play in a way that is possibly the first of its kind. Players have the freedom to pursue careers that will impact the player economy in their own unique way. Become a taxi driver, deliver goods to player-owned businesses, fight fires, save lives, argue a case in criminal court, or just hold out your hand and beg for money. Find, or steal your ‘identity’! 3. What can you tell us about the world? World size? Player limit? We anticipate that the playable world size will be 200 square kilometers, or 77 square miles in comparison. This means that the whole map is 14 km wide, and would take about an hour and a half to walk across. We hope to support up to 300 players (or more!) per server. 4. Can you expand on the professions? We know there will be cops, but what types of jobs will be available for civilians? Will they be able to create their own businesses? Create their own items? etc. Also, Medics and Firefighters? Players can choose from a wide range of professions, including the ability to become a Firefighter, EMT, Taxi Driver, Farmer, Bounty Hunter, Fisherman, Logger, Miner, Delivery Driver and even a business entrepreneur. The options available to you as a player get more specific than this even, but we aren’t yet ready to expand on the full list. The direction of development is prone to change, and we don’t want to promise anything that might change down the pipeline. Business ownership allows players to own factories and small business, giving them control over what items are manufactured and sold. Items created by a factory must be delivered to their destination city where store owners in that area can decide what quantity and type (formal wear, casual, punk outfits, weapons, etc.) they wish to list in their business. Some default items are always available in all stores for when market demand is not met. 5. How will death be handled? When a player dies, some items such as the money the player is carrying at that time, will be dropped on the ground and will become accessible to anyone in the area that wishes to take it. Clothing items will never be dropped. We have decided that a player’s character appearance in a social game like Identity is important. You will always look the way you decide your character to look. If the player is not resusitated by an EMT or teammate, the player is then prompted to respawn at the location of their last sync (house, apartment, city) Private servers have some control over what types of items players will drop on death, if any at all. 6. Can you expand on how the housing system will work? Size and availability of apartments and houses? Players can choose to own or rent housing in Identity, while apartments can also be shared with a friend or roommate depending on the size of the property. For instance, two friends, or a married couple can choose to purchase a 2 bedroom apartment where they both can live comfortably with each other. Apartments and houses are fully customizable, allowing players to place furniture and objects anywhere in the room. Home-owners can invite other players into their apartment or house at any time. Players cannot access another players home without an invitation. 7. Will there be any specific safe areas where people can go AFK or sit and socialize without being killed or robbed? There are safe zones within certain types of buildings in Identity. Metal detectors serve to preserve immersion, and will temporarily remove any weapons upon entry, allowing all players in the area to safely relax, socialize and meet new friends. These safe zones are known to us as “Sub-Hubs” or social gathering points that reflect on the lifestyle theme of their environment (Biker Bar, Business club, Bum alley, etc.). While many of these areas can only be accessed by law-abiding citizens, some Sub-Hubs are neutral and can be entered by any player on the map. Few areas are designated gathering points for active criminals looking for the right crime of opportunity, or new friends to help them plan their next heist. 8. How will player identification work in game? Will names appear above players heads? If so, at what distances will they be seen? As our design stands right now, the official servers do display names over heads within certain ranges. Some things like masks and balaclavas can affect this. Moreover, private servers have an option where they can hide names from all players unless greeted. By this I mean you won’t see the name over another player until they perform an emote action, after which you’ll always see their name.

Hi everyone, There has been some controversy over my recently created posts and I know want to shine some light onto the matter and explain how it will work and how it will operate. I need to get the point across that I will not be starting all out war as soon as I enter the game, it seems that way from what I have been saying on my other posts but that's purely for role play. The aim of my gang and business is to help the lower class people that feel singled out this can be due to having a job they don't like and want to start a new profession and we train them not to necessarily do illegal things, I have been recently talking to a friend of mine I have came in contact with about him starting a trucking business and we will work in conjunction to other professions we are kind of like a work agency that works undercover from the law dipping into some illegal business. So say if someones a framer for a person and they don't like where their job is going or again for role play purposes he's being pushed around and feels like he's worthless because a game this realistic can probably upset some people to lets be honest and they might feel left out like they don't have a place in this world and we will help them out to peruse a career path they want like a stock taker or selling items over the phone so we will contact a business that deals with this and help the person or persons that want this career and this is the sort of stuff I am aiming to accomplish I want to make everyone chose the path they want and sometimes they need a little help. Like I keep saying we are about the little people and want to have a fair chance and that's where the revolution idea came about the little people being suppressed by the government and the rich so we give a little back to the people who really matter. So know on to the illegal part.... We will start off as a gang selling drugs helping people/small business getting going cause sometimes its easy with a little push or maybe a little torture if someones bossing them around and no reverting back to my friend with his trucking business because of the help I give him he will therefore return the favor and help me out by doing drops for me with my drugs sending them from the factory to the buyer so you can kind of relate me to Negan from the walking dead. I scratch your back, you scratch my back. So moving on we will also try to unite the criminals and try to use our forces we have on people and the government to benefit the whole server we aren't just going to be declaring war every five minutes we will help anyone and everyone but we have to apply some force and might have to get our hands dirty once in a while to get where we want to be and Also I don't want to be classed as a leader I want EVERYONE in my gang/business to be equal and have the same rights as anyone because I am fair and believe people deserve a voice this is where my anger with the rich and powerful comes in but I've already covered that. So no I am not some kind of villain and some kind of mad man who takes crack I am just an average guy with a voice who was also pushed to the side cause since my posts have been created people have been pushing me away and Me myself feel segregated from people who I shall not name. But I WILL NOT under any circumstance leave anyone who feels lonely and feel like they are not being listened to and I will help them get to where they want to be! so if you feel like you're alone you are not because you are one, you are with me. you are my family and we will destroy the barrier between what the government restrict our creativity. So now onto what my business will look like from a working prospective This image below shows a diagram or business process at they are called. First step model: this is how I will model my gang and business and Start my recruiting and getting other gangs on boar basically spreading my wings meeting new people telling them about my cause, also giving people roles and helping them earn professions. Illegal part now firstly we will start with smaller drugs just doing smaller deliveries not making massive batch and earning huge amounts of money but it will help kick start my business. Second step implement: This step will be put in place when I am backed by other like small business that want to grow and small gangs that need a purpose. So we will start branching out completing tasks for people or businesses either if its helping someone get their voice heard or a trucking company that needs to be protected form thieves stopping them in the road. Illegal part also now when the drugs have finally been bought or grown we will start sending them out to clients and suppliers. Third step Execute: This is where we will carry out specif role more efficient and more often and we will reach are maximum performance as a group now being known and people are starting to take an interest. Fourth step Monitor: Myself and some other members that I can trust we will monitor how people are getting on like seeing if the little man we talked about who wanted to be come a stock taker has actually achieved what he wanted and got where he wants to be and if not we will come back and help him get there because we don't leave people to fail. With the illegal side we will see if gangs we work with are co operating properly and if not we will give them warnings and if continued consequences will be met. fifth and final step Optimize: This is our final step where we are starting to branch out with bigger businesses and clients helping more people out also having more members and this is where we take a look at what we can improve to the community even if its like adding nice public areas to deprived places and also we will take a look at as a organisation as a whole what we can improve on and how we can make things better for people and the community. Illegal stuff again, this is where we will move onto bigger drugs making a lot more money and supplying bigger demands and eventually being the biggest supplier of drugs. How we make a profit: so buy now I haven't mention a single thing about me making a wage other than what I/we earn from the drugs and other criminal activities and that's because I don't we don't take off the community only ask favors now and then just so we still have power and authority this keeps us on the map and we will continue to grow eventually becoming a huge business which offers and helps people get millions of jobs all over the map eventually making the whole population more wealthy and giving them more freedom and yes i know i hate the wealthy and the powerful but this is how a business ends up so I was always going to end up contradicting myself. So my money will be earn from other gangs pulling off jobs and we will only get our hands dirty if we have to so I aim to control certain areas of the map which the law will not dare to operate in and a trade route so I can ship or drive my goods (insane amounts of cocaine) across the map and then give the product to smaller gangs to deliver which will also give them a bit of money cause I was planning on taking 70% of what they earn still leaving them with a huge sum of money and then I will help out the community by building and creating fun public activities and helping people with their property. You can say im sort of like Pablo escobar also, anyway thank you for your time and listening to what I have to say and im also very sorry if my other posts might have caused offence to anybody and I would love some feed back on this if you can be bothered reading it all just because I put a lot of time into this and would love if people could get behind me.

So a couple nights ago I was just watching random youtube videos and stumbled across one of the Identity videos, and all I have to say is WOW! Well it's been decided that the Government won't be based around any pre existing one. At least not from what I've read and seen. Technically it's up to the government on that server. But I'd like to think we make it the way we want it.

So basically you're a gang revolting against the Government because you believe it's not in their right or their land to take, although technically the Government (if I am correct) will be American based making it a Government for the people, by the people? Let's say you somehow manage to "take over", what then? Would you then become a Government in a sense, ultimately turning into what you fought against? (imagine another gang like yours then coming in, the dilemma lol) Would you ultimately earn your riches thus becoming the rich leading you to look down on those whom do not believe in your cause, those who are not as rich and powerful? Question, what makes you think it is in your right to "take back" the land? What makes you think it belongs to you? No offense, I just think that sounds like power gaming. What happens when another group comes in claiming it's actually their land? Or the house you just bought is their house because of whatever alibi they concocted? A Government is structured to create order and fairness, you describe it as an evil unjust system of corruption and horrors unconceivable to the human consciousness; Ultimately though, a Government (or stance, for that matter) is only as good as the people who run it. I wouldn't join a community and revolt against a perfectly fair, justful, caring, and rightfully run Government just because you claim the land belongs to you, that everyone else is evil and the rich are condescending arrogant monsters.. the rich provide jobs for the poor.. and you can't deny having money comes with power and with power responsibility, it represents a person who stood against the system and against all odds climbed their way to the top; A person with skill, strength, intellect, persistence.. or maybe it was just given to them. Just a thought, I would highly discourage aggression unless absolutely necessary.. like they say, know your enemy, don't just go based off of assumptions, mold your character in its given environment. Do you really need to hurt innocent officer's of the law or even innocent bystanders just trying to do their job, pay their bills, even feed their families? People have responsibilities, lives and other people and things to consider..

From the get go even in the forums theres a diversity of the players and some players may feel left out and might not have anyone or feel like they dont fit into a group and we are here to help them people. we arent a organisation built on destroying everything we are here to help the little people who feel left out giving them a life and giving them a family. and so forth a rebellion as been created for the split between the player base.

I'm talking about in real life. There was an Army Veteran who was denied his right to have a weapon because of the gun control laws. And still, civilians should be allowed to protect themselves in the situations they're attacked. About 10 years ago my father was hit in the back of the head with a pipe and didn't have a weapon because of the gun control laws throughout the U.S. It's unfair to the people who can have them because of these laws. I just wanna liberate the free.

First off: Welcome dude. Second off: What the actual f*ck?! This is a GAME forum, not some crazy political slander site! (No, I am not defending Trump, I absolutely despise the man) Look, I'm not saying you shouldn't have your own opinions, but this isn't the place to state them. This is a community where people are trying to make connections with other people that will impact the way they play Identity. You may have some supporters, and that must be sooo great, but there are a lot more people on the forum buddy. Some things you said, like calling yourself a god, even if it's for roleplay, may upset some people, people who could influence the game for you. If you want to play the game your way, maybe you should be considerate of other people and their cultures. Also, what the heck are you going to rebel against? As far as I know, the game won't work like that.

They said that you will be able to customise nearly everything like making careers white-list, default laws and many other things.

Any codes will be sent to the Store/ website account email. You will redeem it when the game is playable. it is redeemed to your website account already which is used to sign in to the game when that is out and downloaded.

I believe you can rent storefronts which then you can order goods and they will be delivered to you by players and the. you can sell it on for a higher profit. So yes, I think you may be able to own a convenience store. But beware, shoplifting IS a thing.

Hello. I recently had a thought spring to mind, that being how the making of items in game will be. With my field being fashion, I am most interested in how the attire manufacturing system will work, it would be a major letdown if the only clothes I could make was by mixing and matching presets to make a new unique item, i.e picking a predefined set of arms to go with a predefined set of pockets to go with a predefined set of lapels etc. On the other hand, I dont see you making us 3D model fully customised clothing, so I am very interested to know how this system will work.

Hey guys, I'm really happy about how excited you all are to see these screenshots of the Town Square. They're just meant to be a little something to show you guys how progress is going for that module! You might remember the first screenshot of this location that we published back in may, and will notice that the square has been completely rebuilt from that original version!
