    Hey Guys, I thought I would share with you a little guide I designed a few years ago for businesses in Arma 3 Life. It's a simple business model that worked pretty well. It's more or less an algorithm for any business you choose to make. It allows for your employees to be paid, and will minimize them breaking off for sole profit. It is purposely written so that anyone can understand. --------------- Business Model System This is the business model system for maximum efficiency for any business. This model uses a percentage based pay and is designed to be easily modified and easily implemented. Here is the Key for the following guide: A- Overhead (This is the money you need to cover your expenses) B- Profit (This is the money you make after your initial investment has been covered) C- Employee Payroll (This is the money for you to pay your employees) D- Investors Payroll (This is the money to pay your investors) ----------------- Generally speaking you need to arrange all of your investors payroll and your employee payroll to only come from your profits. It is important to remember what your total investment is, your profit, and your payroll. Be sure that you keep an eye on your finances. This is an example of the business model: Your total Overhead (A) is $1000 You have one investor, who has invested $1000 into your business in exchange for 5% of your profit (B). This places a $20,000 valuation on your company. You have one employee plus yourself. Your employees and investors make 5% of your profits. From 100% of your profit (B), you now owe 10%, which leaves you with 90% of your profit. Your profit is $5000. This means that $250 goes to your investor, $250 goes to your employees. 90% of your profit or $4500 is now left over. You invest $2000 into your Overhead this time. You have the same amount of investors. Your company's valuation is still only $20,000. You have gained another employee plus yourself. You have banked $2500. If your profit from a $1000 investment was $5000, this means you made $6000 from the total investment. In turn you expect to make double because of your investment of $2000. This puts you at a $10,000 profit. 5% of $10,000 is $500. You pay your employees $500 and your investor $500. This leaves you with a total of $9000 profit. This algorithm is a progressive system. You do not have to pay any specific percentage, I was simply explaining the math with the easy percentages. ---------------- Q: Why would someone work for me, if they could make the same amount as me? A: Your employee pays no overhead, he uses your equipment, he uses your services, he uses your resources. He has no risk involved. If he is robbed, it is not his money he is losing. (Or She). Also, your employee will scale with more employees and more profit. Whereas if he were to do it all on his own, he would make the same singular profit without the ability to scale, unless he were to create his own company. (Or She). Not to mention, you could promote the employee to making more of a percentage. Q: Why not split the profits evenly? A: You can do that! Except you do need to take out your next expenses before dividing up the profit. Always cover your next venture. Q: Why bank the money? A: The reason for banking your money is insurance. If you are robbed, or an expensive piece of equipment is lost, stolen, or broken, you need to be able to cover those expenses. You pay yourself, the same amount as you pay your employees. You bank the remainder for upgrades and incidentals. Q: Is this the only system that works? A: Heavens no. There are many different systems that work, this is just an easy one to start with until you get your feet wet. ----------------------- Should you have any questions, or anything you would like to add to this guide (Business Model) please reply and leave a comment.

Roles and procedures of the Logistical Driver. (1) The Depot: Drivers will collect their asset (vehicle) belonging to the C.T. Corporation at the start of their shift after the yard master / secretary* gives them their Driver Reference Nr and permission to depart from the Yard, once the driver receives his/her instructions then departure is permitted by the Security Guard. (2) The warehouse: The warehouse operators would be loading the truck before the driver arrives. Small vans or other truck drivers would be assigned to bring smaller goods to a company owned warehouse where the customers goods would be distributed to their final location. But it is possible to deliver directly from Factory > Destination if the payment reaches minimum for that process to occur. Its an important job to ensure that goods are loaded efficiently and effectively. (3) Secure Driver Procedure: When any driver enters a yard or distribution centre a driver number must be given, along with the vehicles registration plates and what kind of cargo is being transported. Core Transport is a 100% legal company and it is up to the Security Officer to ensure that no illegal contraband is ever transported. Heavy fines would apply for any contraband that would be attempted to transport. When trucks arrive and depart they are heavily checked by security officers to ensure the safety of the driver and compliance with the law. Dockets would be printed out for drivers with ALL the information they need to take off. This is not the finalized version of the C.T. system description. a logo and the full description will be uploaded in weeks to come.

    My name is Ash Lee , and Ever sense I was little I loved Batman. To be like him I helped people and gave to charity causes and still do what I can. However when I see Identity I love it ! So I decided to be portray Joker. seeing how in every Batman movie they always (despite doing this to Batman) make the Joker really realistic yet not making him loose his charm or characteristics. That's what I want to do in identify and I know everyone is not on board with it but I really could care less, so stop by and say hello!     I have one idea for the practical use of smoking weed ingame, and using other drugs too. The idea is to add value to an artistic craft after having smoked the weed for being high. Like, you get the weed however you wish. Then, when you smoke it and for example make a painting, as long as the crafting is done within the duration of the high, the painting gains a tag that says the creator was high on such n such drug, which in turn adds either a small amount of actual game dynamic value to the original and the painting's prints, along with the social value for having created something artistic while being on whatever drug. This can apply to all drugs and give all artistic creations some game dynamic value to whatever crafted item or musical composition, etc. What do you guys think? Please comment and suggestions.

    Hi, just found this game and love the idea as long as it doesn't turn in to a RDM blood bath. I have a suggestion that could maybe help prevent this(someone may have already suggested this), I was thinking you could add a penalty for when you die so players will value there lives more, such as a half hour respawn or a high fee(say 500 in game £s) every time you die.     Do you mean age? The game will be Rated 18, and it will only be available on PC at first and then shortly after release available to MAC and Linux.

    Hello there, The modules are standalone parts of the game. There will be 3 separate modules altogether before the beta. Module 1 = Town Square (The Social Module), Module 2 = S.W.A.T.     1.) 300% profit margin may be booming for your dreams, not mine. Who are you to limit my entrepreneurial goals? 2.) Laissez-faire is the best economic model because it allows business owners the best potential for economic growth 3.) In a Free Market economy you don't force the consumer to buy, if they don't like the service or high prices, they don't have to purchase 4.) I am currently the only Mining company in Identity, When the game start I'm going to aggressively mine Raw Materials, Are you going to limit my inventory as well? What if I clean the map are you going to take away my inventories and "trickle it out to other mining companies". 5.)Regulatory Agencies rarely work, due to push-pull factors necessary to make everyone happy I'll tell you what I can do, I will not allow you to regulate me. However, for for fear of me becoming a monopoly. In game when I begin mining resources, I will separate and properly price my resources in three separate packages. The low class package - The Middle class package - The high class package - This will ensure a middle class remains on my part at least, I could care less how other businesses affect the economy and I will not be punished for it I will determine prices at a later time but they will be within affordable range for each class once I get a feel for the market. As far as my resources I will not let you limit how much I acquire, because that just goes to show my hard work in game and I will not be punished for that as well. This is the best compromise for anyone because I do not limit myself to a 300% profit margin. and I do not limit my materials. And your still able to do your regulation thing.

    There are 3 major cities, and chances are they will all have a presinct located within it. However with how the policing system has been described by devs, all presincts will be connected with eachother, as 1 large department.

    This is an overly complicated system and serves the same purpose (with no added benefit) of a system that works perfectly fine. This system is called the free market. You only need 2 things to set it up. 1. A method for currency to be generated (maybe from selling crap to NPCs) 2. A method for currency to be destroyed (this could be a bunch of different methods, including death tax, AI vendors, hospital bills, housing taxes etc.) Players can earn money by working for other players (who have starting capital) or by doing one of the methods that currency is generated. This system is much simpler and infinitely scale-able.

    They are notified that but they do not know who you are, They just know they are looking for someone. Unless there is a witness! <--- @506plays Detectives will be a thing but it is just known as cop and you have to work your way up the hierarchy to get it. There will be things like DNA (Evidence) which the detectives will be able to find. I am sure that the police would be notified but that's not a bad thing because it is something really notifying them in any case. (even if it isn't) just take the answer as A NPC monitors the speeding camera screens and auto notifies the cops. I doubt they would be able to get vandalised for networking reasons.

    I put this on the suggestion forum, but I wanted to post it somewhere where people might actually read and give feedback on this: I checked the FAQ's and searched and didn't find anything, so hopefully this idea isn't a double. Allow police or detectives to build large cases against crime families. I don't have any idea how the game currently works but I would like to see it where a detective could "store" crimes against a certain person. Id think it would have to be crimes the detective personally witnessed as this would prevent friends of the criminal in the department from clearing out cases against their friends, or some other type of local mechanic for just that detective so they can work it. When the crimes are stored up, an arrest can be made against that person, and any other criminals that are part of the case. Then at the detectives discretion he can drop charges in exchange for cooperation or information. This will allow other cases to be built, and roleplay to happen on a larger scale between police agencies and criminals. Nobody sweats a traffic ticket, but when the man shows up with the big case file, you know that's when you are in trouble. I would like to see some kind of system in place where police can work large cases against criminals and large crime families. I know RICO is what destroyed most organized crime families in America, and I'm not suggesting that here. But something like that may be interesting too, since all members of a crime family benefit from the gang's illegal activites, that they could somehow be held accountable under that same blanket.

    So, i love the painting idea in this, BUT for those that just like to draw and what not, but dont have the req specs to run the game, they should be able to spend 5-10$ and be able to pain on the website, and once they "submit" the painting, It will go through what ever processes the paintings go to, and can be sold on npc shops, And they can visit there paining so to speak, and check how many sales it has/likes, ETC. I have a sister that loves to paint/draw, But dosnt have a good PC, I think she would love to do this, as would many others. Or, if you already payed for the game or what ever, You can do it aswell, Just to pass the time without having to start the game, or mb just a midnight thing if you cant sleep. The good thing though, is that we'll be given the first three modules along 2017 before going beta, starting with the social Town Square during first quarter 2017.

    It's been a busy, eventful and productive month for the Identity team at Asylum! Only a few weeks ago we released our first video showing real in-game content, the player housing system, and Identity has gotten a good bit of much-needed exposure! If you haven't seen the video, visit Identity's YouTube channel. Our programmers, especially Henrik Sonesson, have upgraded our inventory mechanics and created two new important gameplay systems these last weeks. The library which you'll have access to in the Town Square module is now in place and functional. Players can both read public domain classic books in-game, or even write their own and submit them to the library for other players to read. In addition, the NPC shop systems are now in place. When you enter most shops you'll be able to find the items you need on racks or displays around the store. Grab what it is you're looking for and then make your way to the cash register to make the purchase. In some places you can preview the items you're holding even before buying; for example, in a clothing store you can go into a change room. This system even allows for shoplifting some items, although player-crafted or very expensive items cannot be shoplifted on official servers. On the art front, we've brought on new artists and are continuing to build the world you'll be exploring. We've also been focusing on the interiors of buildings and characters. We've gotten our first facial hair assets and are approaching a complete character customization system. An overhaul of character skin and hair has Identity's characters looking incredibly life-like in comparison to other MMORPGs. Next on that list for a re-work is the eyes.

    So i looked through this sub forum and realized no one has asked about this. So i would really like to be a mechanic in game. I have a couple of ideas for this so prepare! Okay so the mechanic role, along with other jobs and hobbies such as painting and other such player input jobs could maybe have a skill tree. So next, lets say that there will both be NPC and player mechanic jobs. Taking your car to an NPC will get it to a professional standard but at a hefty price whereas taking it to a player mechanic will allow the mechanic to charge whatever meaning it could be cheaper than taking it to the NPC however the work quality depends on their skill level. Continuation of work increases your skill level until you are almost as good as an NPC mechanic. Not as good otherwise there would be no need for NPCs. Now i dont know how this would work but if possible it would be nice to see a mini game like car mechanic simulator included with the job but even just a simple match the parts or dot to dot would do me. I would just really like to see a mechanic job that i will be able to make a living off. If ive missed anything ill be sure to add it and if you have any comments or further suggestions, please post them
