1 pointAre the modules Alpha or Beta? The Modules are not any kind of beta but serve more as a Alpha! The Beta will be the closest thing to the full game. When is the Beta going to release? There is no current release point for the Beta except after all 3 modules are released. (Late 2018 is my estimate) When is this Game going to release? There is no point for when it is known to release. (My Estimate will be Early 2019 Release) Town Square Release Schedule? The first Module is due to release 21st March 2018 30th November 2018 as so the developers can be sure to hit the release date. 21st March 2018 Countdown When is there going to be game play footage? The next video is said to be on Gun Mechanics, and I would hope to think it will be shown before the S.W.A.T. Module. Crime & Punishment Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GT2b4YvylI4 Character Creation + Quick Tour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kctp79UE5sI Day/Night + Interiors + Interactions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNcJj4C_8ZE Homes/ Apartments: Hotels are free, apartments are infinite, all will get to try an apartment in town square, and there will be limited houses around the map, and that Homes can Store items and are useful as HQ's for gangs. Pledges/ and Prices: Some pledges will stay and prices of them will increase while the rest of the pledges will be removed from the store completely. This will be done when the new Website launches which will likely be Early 2018 and so make use of the time left! New website has already been launched. Higher packages are likely going to be removed during Town Square release or later on. Pledge Car Insurance: There will be life time insurance for the pledge cars/ vehicles. Server Player Capacity: The server player capacity is going to be between 300 - 500 players per server! Server size: Will be 300-500 players. What will the size of the "Town Square" be? The "Town Square" module will be as stated a Town Square and there is no "Figure" on the size of it as of yet! Will this game be released on Consoles? No this game is exclusively for PC however after the full game release the Developers will look into console porting. MoTown's Answer to a post on the forum: Our official answer on the topic of consoles is that we have no current plans to release Identity to console platforms, but have promised to do our research into what it might require after our PC launch. This is not a promise that Identity will be available on console, simply a promise to look into it. At the moment, it would be fair to say that it is outside of our scope and budget. Will this game be for MAC and Linux? Yes it will but I don't know if it will be shortly after launch of the game. Will there be AI (Artificial Intelligence)/ NPC's be roaming the map? No, this game is a player run game, but will have a few NPC's filling up the boring jobs which you and I would not do for hours on end e.g. standing at the tills of a shop, also they will be in the un-ownable shops too and they will be around in back-alleys to represent a (Black Market Dealer and Drug Dealers). Will there be any aircraft in this game? No there will not be aircraft in this game but the developers did mention a glider and possibly in the very far future they could still add them but that's not certain. Will there be Undercover cops? No, The reason why there won't be undercover cops is because the developers want a distinctive difference between cops and civilians/ criminals. How many buttons will be in the game? Probably more, but there will be radial menus for some things that will cut down on buttons. What steering wheels are supported? So far the Thrust-master ones are confirmed. ( if its a popular steering wheel, it'll work) Will this game be VR supported? Yes, the developers are working on it and want to be able to have VR supported because they want to use it too when playing the game. Unfortunately they don't think it will be supported at full game release. Is this game Subscription based? No! You buy the game (passport) and then you can play anytime with no more paying. Is there in-game Purchases? (read next question and the answer) Yes. Is this game Pay to Win? No, You can only buy cosmetic items. (Items which don't give players advantages). What are the system requirements? There is no official knowledge yet as its too early to say, but if you can run games like GTA V, Arma 3 and Ark you should be fine. System requirements are on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/792990/Identity/ How is in-game money going to work? Money will be as close and realistic to the USD. What are the names of the 3 cities? Ash Hill, Roseport and Turtle Beach. Can you break in/ raid someones home? No, police cannot raid your house and also no one can rob your house. In correspondance to police not being able to raid your home, it is that you cannot enter your property if wanted either. What age rating will the game be? This game will be Rated 18+. Can you live with someone? Yes you can but you have to have a bedroom for every person who lives in your house. This even includes if you marry someone! Gangs: There will be a gang system, such as making a guild in MMO's. Gangs will have ranks and even HQ's which can be someone's house where all gang members have access or a shop a gang member owns. In Town square, there will not be a gang system YET, but there will be a friends contact on your phones and you can easily roleplay your gang, to begin with. You can have biker gangs, as there are Bikes (such as the ones in the pledges) and leather jackets. You can put insignias on your clothes to show off your gang. There won't be designated gang categories, such as Biker gang or Mafia, but you can Roleplay your gang to be any type you want. There will, however, be areas of the map designed for specific sub-cultures, such as bars that are Biker themed, such as Biker Club Bars. A player can always buy a bar, make it a Biker Club / Bar and make it the HQ of their Biker Gang, or the same with a Mafia gang, etc... Stress System: The Stress System is the games anti-RDM (random deathmatch = randomly killing people for no reason) system. What happens is everyone has a stress level, and if you stress is low, you take less damage, and high, you take normal damage. When you pull out a gun, you instantly get high stress, and when one is aimed at you or you are near a fight, your stress will slowly rise. This helps you to fight back and try and get the advantage on a gunman by using the stress system to your advantage. In weapon customisation: People always ask if there will be silencers or 8X scopes, and there will not be any long range optics or silencers in Identity. Murder: WILL be auto reported and you will be instantly wanted, other crimes require witnesses and a 911 call. Can you Marry? Yes, you can marry both sex. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Reddit and Exclusive interview questions and answers Below ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Weapon Customisation? Weapon customization is quite detailed. Some weapons have more room for changes than others of course, but things like stocks, grips, sights and even paint/finish can be customized. Weapon actions are one of those things that don't work well in video games, mostly because no matter what you have in the game you're still firing with a mouse, and it will feel counter-intuitive making it over-complicated. For example, if you have a double action pistol and pull the trigger, your mouse click is all the same no matter if the hammer is back or forward so we need to design around the peripherals people are using to play. Weapon jams are something you can encounter. Our weapon physics are incredibly advanced and was one of the first systems completed long ago. We can create magazines of any size which hold physically accurate ammo. Calibre and even type (holopoint, FMJ, etc) have an effect on trajectory. Our programmer on the weapon physics read a lot of papers to get proper formulas, and they function off the same math used by real-world forensics. A bullet fired in Identity will travel almost identically to the same being fired in the real world, even when it comes down to things like stopping power versus penetration. Will there be physics to shoot through walls or boxes? Things that a bullet would usually go though in real world situations. Absolutely. Bullets are influenced by the material they hit. If it's wood, it will pass right through it with very little change to velocity, but a thin sheet of metal may still allow the bullet to pass through, yet reduce velocity enough that it may not kill, or do much damage to its target on the other side when it impacts. 1. What is in game prison like? 2. Is it like real prison with guards, rec time, shiving, and keeping a tight grip on the soap? 3. How does the drug manufacturing and trafficking work? 4. Can I get methylamine? 1. Identity's prison is very much a game within a game. As a prisoner, you can join one of three prison factions and battle for territory, or just hang out in the recreational room and chat and interact with other prisoners while you wait out your time. You'll be able to craft a crude shank and attack others, or attempt a prison escape as a group that the police will be forced to respond too from across the map. There are no player prison guards though. The decision for that was mostly just because we couldn't find a way to keep it engaging and fun. We don't want people to be forced to sit and watch other players. 2. For those in prison however, when they've served their time, they may simply exit the prison through a series of corridors that only they have access too, or if they just have a lengthy prison sentence, they can request a trial which will notify random players across the map to report for jury duty, in which case they will plead their case, and have their fate decided on by a vote whether to be released early, or spend the rest of their time behind bars. 3. & 4. In the outside world, there are a number of drug manufacturing processes, including the production of meth, heroin, cocaine, and marijuana. Each has its own unique crafting process. For instance, in order to cook meth, which is the highest paying and most valuable drug in Identity, it will require the player to purchase a mobile RV, convert it into a meth lab, and then steal all of the ingredients from across the map in certain factory locations. They'll then have to spend time cooking the meth through a series of time-based processes that determine the quality of the product before finally selling it to an NPC drug dealer for a big payout (or you can consume it if you feel like cutting into your hard-earned profits). 1)Price when the game releases 2)Will there be realistic payments for the jobs(on official servers)? I really hate it when you deliver a huge track full of diamonds and get 10k for it just breaks the immersion 3)Will the items take physical space inside the car not only for furniture but with job items as well (Weed, diamonds, etc) and will you be able to put more staff in the car if Let's say you have a 4 man vehicle but its only you and a friend inside so you have 2 sheets left will that mean extra space? 4)Will the things you buy have realistic prices? For example if you buy a Ferrari it will cost you something like 150k? 5)Will there be real life cars in the game or unlicensed cars like in gta v 6)Will there be any A.I cops or enemies? 7)Will i be able to raid other players houses? 8)Will there be a report system so you can instant report someone if he rdm's/vdm's you 9)Will there be an in game recorder so you can have proof for rdm ? (something like plays.tv lets say) 10)will there be a casino? 11)Any micro transactions? (not for cosmetic items) 12)Can you compare the driving to another game so we kinda know how driving will be like ?(i hope not like arma) 13)Will you be able to shoot while inside a vehicle 14)will there be rebel items like armored(extra armor and guns)vehicles, helicopters, jets. 1. Currently, you can pre-order, or pledge early for Identity for as low as $15 (without beta access) or $30 (with beta access) from our website @ identityrpg.com - however, we expect the price of the game to jump up to about $45 when it hits steam, as steam takes a pretty large chunk of income from each sale. 2. Expect Identity's currency to be realistic in value, so your pay will also be realistic. A pair of shoes may cost about $40, and a decent car around $30,000. A lot of games reward players with such high numbers in currency and damage though because there seems to be a psychological attracting to larger numbers, so we can understand why games do it but it won't be that way in Identity. 3. Items will take up physical space inside the trunk of a car. When a player accesses the trunk, there is a 2D grid placement system in which each item takes up a number of squares on the grid depending on its shape and size. The largest items will not fit inside the trunk of a small car, so a big semi-truck with a trailer may be necessary. 4. Oops, I answered this with #2 as well. 5. There won't be real-world cars or brands in Identity. We can't afford the license fees to include real brands in our game, and we're almost certain these companies would not want their brands associated with vehicle damage, or some of the criminal and illegal elements also featured in the game. 6. There won't be AI cops out in the game environment, driving police vehicles, or paroling streets. If there are any, they will simply stand behind a desk at the station recruiting new player officers or providing information. 7. You will not be able to raid another players house, or enter their house without their permission. We want player homes to be your personal space, safe from any outside influence. Players are going to put a lot of effort customizing their homes, and we don't want to jeopardize or disturb the work they put into it. 8. RDM/VDM isn't an enforced rule on official servers, but there will be a tool for reporting these actions on private servers who create rules for these actions. Instead, on Official servers, we have a stress system in place to discourage random attacks or griefing. 9. There won't be an in-game video recording tool, but you can use 3rd party video recording software like OBS, Fraps, or Shadowplay. 10. There will be casinos in Identity, but they are not player owned. 11. Micro-transactions exist for cosmetics, some vehicles, and some apartments, and will be claimable across all servers (hopefully including private servers). We will not sell weapons. 12. Expect driving in Identity to be realistic, much like Grand Theft Auto IV, not V. Players won't be able to survive crazy stunt jumps in Identity, and enough damage could disable your vehicle. Unfortunately however, we cannot easily do a damage model like you might expect to see in BeamNG. Damage has to be networked across the server, and we feel transmitting that much damage data could hurt performance. 13. You won't be able to shoot from inside your vehicle. We want to discourage random acts of violence for the sake of roleplay. 14. There won't be any armoured vehicles in Identity, apart from maybe SWAT trucks. We don't want to give anyone a PVP advantage based on vehicle armor. Aircraft are also not present in Identity, as it is important to us that players do not skip over potential encounters they may have gotten into while driving, and of course because we don't want the world to feel smaller by flying quickly from point A to point B. If anyone thinks of more FAQ questions please comment and I can add them in.

1 pointI was wondering if sports will be an option for a career. Like could a person play football, futbol, tennis, lacrosse, etc. I think this would be a great idea allowing players to become sports stars along with sport announcers. They could have stadiums and whatnot. I would love for this to be a thing. :)\ -VaxJezus

1 pointFirst off, no. I do not intend on running for office. I am providing a party for people who do intend on running for office, who want something unique. Something that stands out, that one grape in a bunch of blackberries. The Peoples Party (TPP) isn't your standard party. Our policies differ from most as you, the people arent our main priority. Do we want you to be happy? Yes, but we would rather ensure everyone is educated and employed before that. You may be wondering why I would say this, and the truth is that I actually care about the success of this island. I'm not gonna sit back and blow smoke up your backsides to get votes, I strive to make my candidates succeed through the truth, not a pretty face. Taxes For some odd reason every party wants to reduce taxes. I am one of the only people to actually want the opposite; to increase them. Now, I know what your thinking. Why would anyone want less money? Well, I intend on using your money to make your life easier. I will take a % of your income which varies depending on your salary. Now yes, it will be alot but hear me out. This % will cover many thing such as free public transport for employed individuals, free legal consultation and most importantly a free healthcare system. If you invest alot into small companies and/or charity you are eligible to file for a tax return at the end of a year, giving you back some momey for your comtribution to society. This tax will also cover any emergency service operative 3 days of food every week. Below is the taxes for salaries. $9,999 > = 7.5% Tax $10,000 - $19,999 = 25% Tax (Potential of 10% tax return) $20,000 - $39,999 = 35% Tax (Potential 20% tax returns) $40,000 - $99,999 = 45% Tax (Potential 35% tax returns) $100,000 < = 50% Tax (Potential 45% tax returns) On top of this, if you own a business then no matter how much you are making, there is a fixed 30% tax rate on your profits (after employee payroll). On any products there is a 7.5% sales tax in VAT. I also plan on removing sales tax during the month of December, and a 50% tax reduction on anyone earning less than $20,000 during the same month. Goals One of our main goals is to introduce committees that anyone in the community can volunteer for. This gives the power to the people, allowing them to voice their opinions and put forward their own ideas to be implemented. We will also have committees dedicated to communicating with prisoners and helping them to prevent themselves from reoffending. I do also want to put in place a programme in which convicts and people who cannot get employment after 2 real weeks can do community service and delivery jobs for me and earn enough to keep them alive. As far as law enforcement goes, I plan to use those taxes to reduce crime rates significantly, giving police and other emergency services a larger yet more controlled budget. Regular patrols will occur, and you should never expect a precinct to have a slow work day. I am open to more ideas but until the game comes out this is all I've got.

1 pointHello! I saw the gameplay for this game a few days ago, And thought it was absolutely amazing, It brings the true meaning to MMORPG. This is what ive always wanted a MMO to be, Not some shitty thridperson WOW game.(dont hate on me please) I cant wait for it to release, My name is kaden, And i am 15. I like to game, I play a lot of garrys mod, Battlefield, Not much COD though. PS: When will people with early access be able to play? And what if i buy the pre order or what ever, and my PC cant handle the game?
-
1 pointHei! I'll be joining the world of Identity soon. Very hyped to be able to play it once it releases! Best of luck with the development of the game. ^.^ From looks of things, it's gonna be great. Ciao! Edit: Just a question, are usernames that we create on here also ones that will be displayed in game?

1 pointOver the past year or so I've been on this forum, I've seen so many people interested in bikes, biker culture ect that you see with a lot of games but sadly with a lot of games, developers don't seem to focus as much on the bike side (more seen focusing on fast expensive cars) that also have their appeal and maybe even the majority of people prefer those but I'm speaking for those of us who would much rather have a bike over a car in the game. I'm making this to try help show the developers that there are many people who would love more bike options in the game because I am worried that this game will leave those people behind and I'd like to have everyone show the types of bikes they would like to see instead of what people think we want (usually looking like cheap Japanese looking bikes that you see in real life) I genuinely think that the gta v biker dlc added some actual nice looking bikes compared to the ones in it before that can be made to look pretty bad ass and I'd love to see that standard in identity. so post your dream bikes, no matter what style! (gta v zombie bobber)

1 pointHello all. I am Joel Keys, founder & CEO of Keys High-End Apparel and The People's Party. I am here today to announce my official running for office in the game providing that I can own a business alongside my campaign. Information About Me and TPP If you haven't already, I strongly recommend that you read the policies of The People's Party so you are aware roughly of my principles and ideologies. Once you have read my party's policies, you are probably shocked that I am proposing higher taxes than most. I know that at first some of you may be disappointed, but I would ask you to read my most recent (as of 22:48 on the 20th of December) reply on TPP. I explain why higher taxes aren't all as bad as they seem. The ideals and policies of TPP are subject to change, and act as merely a rough guideline for anyone running under our party. Individual candidates do not have any obligation to strictly abide by the policies outlined in my post on TPP. If, for example higher taxes aren't doing much for the economy, I will lower them but only if it benefits the citizens. Probably one of the most reassuring aspects of me running for Governor is that I DO own a (projectably) successful business, so I have no financial agenda to accomplish by running for office. My only agenda is to assure that we all as citizens live the best possible life while earning a living. In fact, me becoming Governor will negatively impact my income due to my committees and programmes that I wish to put into place. Yes, those will be tax run programmes however I am having to take on unreliable convicts and newbies as employees and pay them, which won't be good for me. I truly urge you to think carefully about who you vote for, if it's not me PLEASE don't allow low taxes to be a seller for you, it won't work. Let me know your thoughts below.

1 pointI thought as it's been a long time since the devs put up the vote on twitter, and seeing as there is a lot more exposure and more interest with people on this forum now that I would do this poll to see whether some peoples fear that there would be more criminals than cops or civilians be a case. So guys what do you want to be? Also if you can comment if you want to try all of them but this is what do you want to be mainly the majority of the time. Civilian includes being a businessman and such. Cop - Cop obviously. Criminal - Gang and general crime stuff. Government - This is any other government career like FF, Medic and so on. PS: I wanna try all of them out in the long run but my main thing will be running a transport company. I will start using my sports car as my Taxi! @HairyGrenade Wanna pin this?
-
1 point@Gwiilo i think we all can wait a bit longer for a better result of game ^^ @Phiedrus there is not much to know about me, i want to be an artist in Identity ´coz i like that you can paint something and hang it on the wall :3 @JamesLuck01 my goal is to get a bit famous in the game as an artist or something like that, yeah i know it will be hard but i never give up ^.^ The things i look forward to are the great community and all the stuff you can do. If you have questions to my person, dont be afraid to ask <3
-
1 pointBeta is not due till late 2017/ Early 2018. 1st module (social module) is due Q1 2017 which is likely (my opinion) that the first module will be done by Mid - End March.
-
1 pointWill there be any kind of insurance? Like if you can drive cars and what not, If someone crashed into you, i think you should be able to make them pay for it, But if they don't want to, they get in trouble by the law or what ever. Because if someone breaks my car, i sure as hell aint payin for it xD. Just a little idea i had, It would be kind of cool to see it play out.

1 pointDevs have yet to mention if there are any set "drug selling areas" in Identity, and I don't think they will. The Devs mentioned earlier thay there are "safe zones" such as homes and possible businesses. So with this thought, one could possibly argue that anywhere outside of a property could be considered a selling area. With that being said, police could set up stings and block raids in areas where drugs are prominent in Identity. However the effectiveness of the sting and/or raid will be determined by the police's knowledge of how the sales are being done, and how accurately they carry out their operation. The other variable would be the overall intelligence of the criminal or criminals being targeted by the police. This is just what I have assumed with how the devs have discussed this.
-
1 pointGlad to hear it! I'll add you to the roster shortly. Any idea what sort of business you're interested in running?
-
1 point1. Yes, they will make the prices be as realistic and as close as possible to the real life prices. 2. I think it is possible to own 1 house and 1 apartment + a mobile home. 3. I suspect you can own as many as you can get in your Garage as you can only have 1 car out (like GTA system) at each present time. 4. You will Respawn at the last bind location (Your house). 5. Expand on what you mean by this. 6. There will probably be such things like this as they will have stuff like chess too. 7. This will be possible but only in certain designated spots (Developers said). 8. You cannot start fires and they are randomly generated and so no house fires! 9. I guess you might be able to do this with Roleplay means e.g. you get people together and start a fight club underground. 10. Probably IDK if they will be available as it is a sort of mask and masks are not in the game.
-
1 pointMainly civilian. But the game offers some possibilities too interesting to just ignore them. For the most part I prefer an easy life, but how not to try how's life in prison for a while? How would I do as a homeless (despite I plan having a studio apartment)? etc.
-

-
1 pointI do feel that the cops should have to catch you to inform some sort of punishment! That way cops feel satisfied they done there job also if cops are busy with a bigger crime and a camera catches you speeding, by your licence plate when they are free maybe they get sent to your home? And depending on what happened! The issue will be delt with there (Just Idea)

1 pointIn no way am I saying that the lower class will be eliminated. I'm simply stating that it will take the place of middle class metaphorically. Lower class is lower class no matter what. And when we are faced with inflation we adjust. We adjust for the inflation if we get any.
-
1 point6.5/10 Not really my jam but I'll give the benefit of the doubt, it wasn't actually too bad.
-
1 pointHi @Ragnariu Welcome to the Identity forums. Tell us about yourself and what you'll be doing in Identity In my opinion we won't see an actual go-live until 2018. The good thing though, is that we'll be given the first three modules along 2017 before going beta, starting with the social Town Square during first quarter 2017.
-
1 pointwill there be sports leagues? it would be pretty cool if there was a football, basketball, or soccer league with a nice arena/stadium
-
1 pointHe'll yes it does. Rumors were going around that the Pres wanted to take away all guns which is against the 2nd Amendment and every gun owner were ready to revolt. And you're idea isn't even gun control. You just want all guns banned. Real gun control us licensing, permits and background checks. That's real him control.
-
1 pointGuns dont kill people. People kill people. There's always a finger behind the trigger. Gun licensing and permits are the best thing to do. Banning all guns will cause a revolt.
-
1 pointOnly difference is I will be using your taxes to benefit everyone, including yourself.
-

-
1 pointI would love a lot of customization options and plenty of bike variations. My dream would be classic custom panhead or bobber. I would love to have both in Identity.
-
1 pointAnyone here into any sports, if so.. what sport? I myself am a basketball, football kind of guy.
-

-
1 pointPick up games are one thing, but it would be seriously cool to have a professional sports league covering the major 4, (Baseball, Basketball, Futball/Soccer, and American football) as well as the supporting potions and careers around it, Coach, Sports Medicine Therapist, Cheerleader, (not that not a sport, but without teams there would be no cheerleaders) Sports Equipment, Field maintance and other minor jobs like snack vendor, Merchandise vendor, maybe more, unure this is right off the top of my head... in college if there is one, and enrolled and students accepted on the team there could also be Track and Field, Gymnastics, Swimming/Diving, and Wrestling, the same supporting positions would apply to college athletics as well

1 pointI have recently heard of this game and have been psyched ever since. I've been waiting for a game like this all of my life but no one has ever been able to deliver. Identity has the best chance of making my dream game come true so I desperately hope at least some of my suggestions can be implemented in the game. 1) Freedom of Choice: This is the most important aspect of the game I'm looking forward to. I've always wanted to play a game that is focused mainly on the Sims aspect of real life as opposed to a game like GTA 5 that is basically just a game focused on criminality with limited option to do anything else. I want to have the freedom to lead my own life without being forced to engage in any type of activity. I know Identity is being built mainly as a police/criminal type of game but the ability to add non-criminal gameplay in addition to the detailed Sims aspect of the game makes this game ideal. My main suggestion here is please focus more on the non-criminal aspect of the game, try to make non-police non-criminal aspects/activities/careers of the game just as detailed and comprehensive if possible. 2) Realism: Realism is another big issue for me, making the game as real as possible would be perfect. My suggestions here are making the day/night cycle much longer than in GTA 5. You want to really enjoy each time of day without it passing by in just a few short minutes. I wouldn't even mind having to wait for my character to sleep for a decent while at nights if that's what it takes. I understand some players may not want this so having different servers with different settings could accommodate all types of players. Other suggestions are realistic walking/running speed unlike GTA 5 where first person mode always had you running. Realistic stamina so you wouldn't be able to run indefinitely like in GTA 5. Realistic season changes if possible. Realistic trash/waste/dirt forcing the player to do regular cleanup of the house/office, putting out trash, and washing clothes/etc. Bigger city sizes: if possible please make the cities bigger than Los Santos in GTA 5. Though Los Santos had a decent size a bigger city would be a lot more immersive and fun especially with lots of available activities. 3) Careers/Jobs: Please try to add as many different jobs/careers as possible. This is extremely important in giving the player freedom of choice and lots of options to explore. It will really increase the game's replayability. Here're some suggestions: - Doctor: Instead of having an EMT that heals players it would be a lot more fun if you had an ambulance driver who'd delivery emergency patients to a hospital where a player doctor would do the healing/surgery/etc. The doctor could take care of both "dead"/severely injured players as well as treat regular patients with common sicknesses. - Financial manager: Someone who will invest/trade for other players assuming there will be a decent and dynamic stock/commodity exchange in the game. - Garbage man: Assuming there would be trash in the game, waste management worker(s) could take everyone's trash once a week using a garbage truck. - Postal worker: Instead of delivering mail directly have a post office where the post office worker receives and delivers all player mails. - Regular office work that could somehow relate to other aspects/jobs in the game (examples> DMV where players would need to renew their registration/license/get car inspections/etc. Insurance worker, realtor, accountant, etc.) - Hotel manager: Assuming there will be hotels/motels where players could stay when out of town. - News reporter/anchor: You could be a reporter or anchor either filming real in game events or reporting on them, could include weather, business, and sports news as well. - Cook: With real cooking where you'd have to correctly use ingredients and process them correctly, etc. - Gym trainer: Where you help people in the gym. This could give a strength boost to the player working out giving them results faster so they'd have an incentive to hire a trainer. - Lawn maintenance: Where you have to maintain people's lawns and landscape - Cleaning service: Where you clean other players' houses, businesses, yachts, etc. - Regular jobs like managing a store/business, attending doors, bouncer, farm worker, assistant of all types, security, dog walking, etc. Some of these jobs can also be done by AI in the absence of players. 4) Activities: Please for the love of god include A LOT of activities in this game. One of the biggest let downs of GTA 5 was that it had a big map with very little to do. Almost none of the buildings could be entered and a lot of easily programmable activities were not included. Here're my suggestions in this area: - Allow players to enter/explore as many buildings as possible even if they're not directly related to the game. - Allow players to interact with as many things as possible, little things add up and go a long way to significantly increase immersion, a lot of it is easily programmable. In GTA 5 for example they had built a theme park but you could only do two quick activities there even though the structure for much more games/rides/activities were already built. - Sports: Soccer and basketball are the two most important but any additional ones would be welcome. Sports should include skill levels that increase the more you play. Your stamina/endurance/strength would also affect your performance. - Snow/ice activities/sports like hockey, skating, snowboarding, skiing, or just sliding down the mountain on a sled. - Public swimming, tanning, spa, billiards (pool), air hockey, arcade games, cycling, jogging, hiking, camping, kite flying, frisbee, flying drones (with camera if possible), etc. - An extensive gym system with lots of available machines/free weights/treadmills/etc. requiring a player to go through a decent routine and spend some time there regularly to become fit. 5) Businesses: Once again it would be great if you could include as many businesses as possible, some could require a direct player involvement, some could be done by AI. Here're some suggestions: - Parking Garage/Lot: Someplace players can park their cars for a fee, great for busy locations with limited parking space! - Laundromat: Where players can have their clothes washed - Restaurants and cafes - Bars, clubs, and lounges - Internet cafes - Malls, regular stores of all types - Car washes and auto shops - Tanning salons, spa, barber shops, arcades, etc. 6) Other: - College/University: Perhaps you'd need to get a degree for certain jobs like medicine where you're required to sit in long/boring lectures every day for some time before you're qualified. This will ensure only patient/interested players could go through the process to get the job same as real life. - Park-o-meter on some locations? - Online business rating where players can rate businesses. This will ensure the businesses who do a good job get more clients just like in real life. - Game events have consequences in different areas. For example if there is going to be a dynamic stock exchange a business/corporation performance will have affect on its stock price. Or commodity prices fluctuate based on weather/in game events/etc. - Car GPS has real GPS sound with directions not just a line on a map. - There should be AI in the absence of players. If a players is not available to attend a business/job an AI should replace his role. You shouldn't go to an empty business/store/etc. Also some AI could be added to increase population density and have them do boring mundane work regular players wouldn't do. - Video games: There could be video games in the game, you could play on your phone, computer, or in an arcade/internet cafe. 7) Flying: I know this is probably not going to be in the game initially but I think this is too important a field to be completely left out. Perhaps after the initial release when you work on adding even more size to the map you could introduce flying. This game just won't be complete without the ability to fly and it would add an extremely fun career of being a pilot. I've heard there's a plan to double the map's size by adding another island in future DLCs, you could then introduce airports and give the player the ability to travel to the other island by air. Please don't rule out this feature.
