3 pointsI thought as it's been a long time since the devs put up the vote on twitter, and seeing as there is a lot more exposure and more interest with people on this forum now that I would do this poll to see whether some peoples fear that there would be more criminals than cops or civilians be a case. So guys what do you want to be? Also if you can comment if you want to try all of them but this is what do you want to be mainly the majority of the time. Civilian includes being a businessman and such. Cop - Cop obviously. Criminal - Gang and general crime stuff. Government - This is any other government career like FF, Medic and so on. PS: I wanna try all of them out in the long run but my main thing will be running a transport company. I will start using my sports car as my Taxi! @HairyGrenade Wanna pin this?

2 pointsConsidering he tried to help you out I'd try and be more greatful. If you are looking for information that isn't so to speak 'Out of our butts' then you won't find an awful lot. Check the official announcements for that.

2 pointsIt's been a busy, eventful and productive month for the Identity team at Asylum! Only a few weeks ago we released our first video showing real in-game content, the player housing system, and Identity has gotten a good bit of much-needed exposure! If you haven't seen the video, visit Identity's YouTube channel. Our programmers, especially Henrik Sonesson, have upgraded our inventory mechanics and created two new important gameplay systems these last weeks. The library which you'll have access to in the Town Square module is now in place and functional. Players can both read public domain classic books in-game, or even write their own and submit them to the library for other players to read. In addition, the NPC shop systems are now in place. When you enter most shops you'll be able to find the items you need on racks or displays around the store. Grab what it is you're looking for and then make your way to the cash register to make the purchase. In some places you can preview the items you're holding even before buying; for example, in a clothing store you can go into a change room. This system even allows for shoplifting some items, although player-crafted or very expensive items cannot be shoplifted on official servers. On the art front, we've brought on new artists and are continuing to build the world you'll be exploring. We've also been focusing on the interiors of buildings and characters. We've gotten our first facial hair assets and are approaching a complete character customization system. An overhaul of character skin and hair has Identity's characters looking incredibly life-like in comparison to other MMORPGs. Next on that list for a re-work is the eyes.

1 pointRecently I was on the website for the upcoming game 'Last Year' Which is pretty much the Friday the 13th game. Anyway, I noticed on that site that it had a 'Backer only area' which meant that the people who had backed the game on kickstarter had first hand access to prototypes, screenshots and sneak peeks etc. I think that would be a superb idea here because to be honest the people who helped get this thing off the ground in the first place haven't been put forward of anybody else whatsoever. What do you guys think? @HairyGrenade @Motown @Paratus

1 pointso we all know there is a system in the law enforcement that officers can pull over someone not just by opening sirens but also sending a request to a player to pull over as a cop. but lets say he refused will he be automatically a criminal and change the pulling over status to a high speed fire in need chase??? and if a cop pulled over someone before 5 mins can the officer pull him over again after 5 minutes more or lets say 30 mins?

1 pointI obviously don't speak for the dev's - but I've played a lot of games, and I'm going to say most likely yes. Governor will most likely be a position filled for "X" amount of time, or until impeached etc. Nobody else will lose their jobs or companies when they die, why should the Governor? Now if people were to continue killing him, then he can't very well get his job done and may even just resign. But those are about the only readily available options I see there being.

1 pointJames has missed that part out that is why. Having different personality slots is almost the same as having classes, and that means the game is submerging itself in RPG territory. It is the attitude of you the player that determines your attitude in game, simple as that!

1 pointErm no, it's just I think you're wrong because people would still use them if they did shit all, as people love the idea of using illegal substances within a virtual world.

1 pointThe $15 pledge only gets you access to the full game which is expected to be late 2017 or early 2018 right now, if you buy the $30 one then you get access to the modules, beta and full release. The first module is expected in a few months.

1 pointThere will be a system regarding corruption as it will be an official rule stating that you can not be corrupt as a cop or government official regarding the police force. However I am not sure that will work as there are always people being corrupt. Anyhow I am not sure about this "bin" system or other systems.

1 pointSounds awesome, if we end up in the same server I'd love to be a regular at your cafe. Hopefully the character customization is extensive, which for this type of game and the fact that they're focusing so much on aesthetics with home decorating, clothing making, and such I'm sure the character customization will be good as well

1 pointPlease search and use the available resources, it takes 1 minute to find the answer to this and if you did search and found nothing then you clearly spelt "Consoles" wrong: Here is a FAQ which gives the answer: FAQ Extended Short answer: NO!

1 pointI agree with your statement, however, the items will need certain buffs so that people actually use the items, otherwise methlabs won't do very well.

1 pointif you want it more realistic, losing your license out of thin air for going 5 over the speed limit is unrealistic af. they should only let cops pull your license if they pull you over
-
1 pointI get your point but keep in mind this game wants to replicate real life as much as it can and in real life things like driving without a licence would land you in jail.
-
1 pointI'd assume that the more minor crimes, like the ones you named, would result in a fine rather than jail time, so that the jails aren't overpopulated, like you said. I think jail time is primarily reserved for the more serious crimes like homicide, theft, and selling drugs. I'm not 100% sure on whether or not this is true, but I think I remember reading this somewhere on their twitter, I'm not sure though. About losing your license for going 2 over the speed limit, I don't think it would automatically suspend your license. A police officer would have had to witness you speeding in order for them to do anything about it. Again, I'm not sure if this is entirely right, I'm just basing this off of what I vaguely remember when skimming through their twitter.

1 pointWe'd love to do this! We still need to integrate pledge tiers into forum user accounts. After that is sorted, we'll see about making this happen!
