2 pointsIn the recent review done with Asylum, (found here, http://www.eternagaming.com/exclusive-interview-with-identity/) a concert hall was mentioned that players can rent to host classical, rock, etc. events and I am wondering how many of you besides myself are musicians and would be interested in forming an orchestra to perform in what I'm assuming with be Roseport Performing Arts Center or something along the lines. There is very little information on what kind of instruments will actually be available in Identity, so this could end up being a complete waste of time, (which correctly represents the life of a classical musician anyways). Please let me know with a message with a little bit of info about yourself and we will move on from there!

2 points@Devonor Weather it be a lone singer, a band, or an orchestra, every musician needs a manager, someone to organize events, concerts, interviews, fan meetups, autograph signings, everything a well organized music structure such as yourself needs and deserves. I would like to be that somebody, or should I say my company. I am Bob Ross, CEO of Bob Ross Inc: Promoter of the Arts. One of the branches of Bob Ross Inc is the Bob Ross Studios, soon to be number one in music production and distribution. You can click on my signature for more info but I'll give you a brief summary. If you manage to find enough members for your orchestra, we will fully brand you as one of the best in Identity with our top advertising methods. Radio, television, billboards, we will make your group a household name. Not only that, but we will scheduled concerts so that your music can be heard and appreciated. And lets not forget the fat checks your orchestra members will receive through all those concert tickets and/or all records sold (which we of course will handle the production and distribution of). Going through us, you have nothing to lose (except for a small percentage of earnings that go to us), and everything to gain. If you are interested, please do PM me. Thanks,

1 pointI think this would be a great feature. Because street racing is kinda mainstream. Stockcar racing in a MMORPG would be a world first. There could be the basic stock car (all white) on which you could add pain schemes and sponsor logos imported from your computer or a link.

1 pointIf you can't wait for Identity to come out, and would like to create a character in which you could live a certain lifestyle, check out Grand Theft Auto's multiplayer mod, San Andreas Multiplayer (SAMP). For those of you who know, GTA SA was never an online multiplayer game. Some people (credit to them) made a mod allowing GTA:SA to become online. Through this mod, there have been game modes like Cops and Robbers, TDM, and most popular Roleplaying Servers. SAMP Roleplay servers all are about living the lifestyle of a certain character the player wishes to live. You can roleplay a gangster, cop, radio host, firefighter, taxi man, or just another average joe. Different servers have a certain standard they wish their players should follow. For example, Red County Roleplay: https://redcountyrp.com/ Here is a famous youtuber showing some awesome gameplay. This server requires most players to have experience in Roleplay, so maybe learn a bit before joining. If your interested you should check it out.

1 pointHiya! Just found out about this game and already super hyped! I'm looking forward to trying out the modules and hopefully give feedback if I can. I've never actually played the arma mod I keep hearing about and was never a big fan of gmod (just seemed like in almost every case there was a better standalone game) so this is a pretty new experience to me and I'm excited to be a part of it~ Since I want to be an artist in real life I'm really looking forward to making and selling art in the game (Does anybody know if it will have drawing tablet support?). I don't know how many people would actually be willing to buy it though haha, so I will also probably try my hand at making clothing and hopefully open up my own store! If that doesn't work out though I'll probably just resort to delivery jobs or something v.v (Also really looking forward to the driving system)

1 pointI put this on the suggestion forum, but I wanted to post it somewhere where people might actually read and give feedback on this: I checked the FAQ's and searched and didn't find anything, so hopefully this idea isn't a double. Allow police or detectives to build large cases against crime families. I don't have any idea how the game currently works but I would like to see it where a detective could "store" crimes against a certain person. Id think it would have to be crimes the detective personally witnessed as this would prevent friends of the criminal in the department from clearing out cases against their friends, or some other type of local mechanic for just that detective so they can work it. When the crimes are stored up, an arrest can be made against that person, and any other criminals that are part of the case. Then at the detectives discretion he can drop charges in exchange for cooperation or information. This will allow other cases to be built, and roleplay to happen on a larger scale between police agencies and criminals. Nobody sweats a traffic ticket, but when the man shows up with the big case file, you know that's when you are in trouble. I would like to see some kind of system in place where police can work large cases against criminals and large crime families. I know RICO is what destroyed most organized crime families in America, and I'm not suggesting that here. But something like that may be interesting too, since all members of a crime family benefit from the gang's illegal activites, that they could somehow be held accountable under that same blanket.

1 pointSo I am just wondering how the YouTube videos will be selected to be put onto the in game TV's. Also will there be different YouTube videos being shown as time goes on or, will it be like GTA 5 where the videos played will be the same even 5 years from now. I would expect @HairyGrenade would be the only one with this kind of info. Plz halp kind sir Sorry btw if all my questions are annoying you I'm curious George

1 pointAll of our Fair Market Value estimates are done on a per company basis, we will work to the best of our abilities to suit both the needs of the customer as well as the needs of the merchant to find a well balanced middle ground. Your skill/labor is accounted into production cost. Therefore, if your skill shows to be of higher craftsmanship then you will be allotted more room for higher prices. We will be working more closely with the merchants than the consumers, but our goal will always be to find a working middle ground to satisfy both parties involved on either end of trade.

1 pointI'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that it's not a matter of the morality of the individual, it's about his/her presence to the public. People don't know about the morals of someone, but they will jump at how he owns a business and that there would be a possible conflict of interest.

1 pointWill there be a proper system for using the gas pedal for both forward and reverse, with a gear switch to choose which one? Because I personally hate when games throw brakes and reverse on the same button.
-
1 pointThey have a module dedicated to driving so im pretty sure they will have a lot of work done on it but +1 to that the brake/reverse pisses me off as well
-
1 pointIf you had a third person you could probably RP out having a Son/daughter, just make them look like a combination of the two parent characters, and name them accordingly.
-
1 pointYes, I hate that too... I would like a gear system too because I have a steering wheel but actually want a gear stick for this to be epic instead of me using a button to change gears.
-
1 pointThey are creating their own Anti-Cheat and also making sure it is the best possible one as they know about hacker problems by experiencing it first hand like all of us.

1 pointI remember the video said you can share a house with your close friend and there is marriage system in this game. But what i heard from people in discussion board is that you can only have partner but not child.

1 pointI'd definitely be interested in joining an orchestra, it sounds like a lot of fun! If your orchestra includes clarinets I'd love to join!
-
1 pointI don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. The existing cities have been described (check here for more input), and the randomness of players building their own stuff would would rapidly break the work the theam has done to create the feeling for each city, landscape etc. Next is, I don't see an easy way to replicate those accross the different servers without impacting the whole thing. I'm fine with the ability to customize the interior of my own apartment and actually prefer the world to be like it was designed by the developers.

1 pointHello everyone. I was thinking for the past few days about the importance of a proper road infrastructure in Identity. I know that many players will not find this topic particularly interesting. However, I have decided to share a few ideas and discuss their importance here. So, what is exactly a road infrastructure? "Roads are a critical component of any city's transportation infrastructure. The maintenance and rehabilitation of city streets ensures that the movement of people, as well as goods and services, continues effectively and efficiently." According to Wikipedia, there are quite a few different Road Infrastructure categories. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Road_infrastructure I know that it would be impossible for Developers to address each and every one of the above mentioned categories. Therefore, I will now mention just a few and briefly explain their potential importance in Identity. Firstly, let's start with the pavement markings. "Road surface markings are used on paved roadways to provide guidance and information to drivers and pedestrians." These would be very important in Identity for all those who are interested in following the traffic rules and help make everyones journey safer and less stressful. It would be impossible to include every single possible pavement marking in game, but maybe just a few important ones could make a huge difference in safety of Identity's drivers and overall enjoyment of the game. Here are a few examples: For those interested, there is lots more information here: http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/services/publications/fhwaop02090/twtmarkings_lgview.htm Secondly, let's briefly discuss the traffic signs. "Traffic signs or road signs are signs erected at the side of or above roads to give instructions or provide information to road users." This category is pretty much self explanatory. However, it's very important as well. Some basic signs would be very welcome in Identity for everyone's safety. Also, it would greatly help police officers to enforce the laws. If there are no traffic signs and road markings, it would be very hard to determine which driver was at fault in case of an accident. Basically our roads would be extremely dangerous. Here are just a few examples: There is tons of more information here for those who wish to find out more: http://www.trafficsign.us Thirdly, I just wish to briefly mention city/highway guardrails. "Guard rail or guardrail, sometimes referred to as guide rail or railing, is a system designed to keep people or vehicles from (in most cases unintentionally) straying into dangerous or off-limits areas." Guardrails would be absolutely crucial in Identity to protect the drivers against bad accidents and save lives in the process. Hopefully guardrails will be present on Identity's most dangerous roads. By all means - feel free to discuss your views here if you are interested. Thank you and drive safe!

1 pointWhy does it give you BENEFITS ? Should it be meth makes you lose hair, coke makes you lose health or something?

1 pointI'd totally be down in joining anything musically in general. I wouldn't even mind staffing at the concert hall if positions are even open for it. I'm in two Choirs at my college, one regular choir and one audition choir, and I dabble here and there with other forms of music, software, and the like.

1 pointIt's been a busy, eventful and productive month for the Identity team at Asylum! Only a few weeks ago we released our first video showing real in-game content, the player housing system, and Identity has gotten a good bit of much-needed exposure! If you haven't seen the video, visit Identity's YouTube channel. Our programmers, especially Henrik Sonesson, have upgraded our inventory mechanics and created two new important gameplay systems these last weeks. The library which you'll have access to in the Town Square module is now in place and functional. Players can both read public domain classic books in-game, or even write their own and submit them to the library for other players to read. In addition, the NPC shop systems are now in place. When you enter most shops you'll be able to find the items you need on racks or displays around the store. Grab what it is you're looking for and then make your way to the cash register to make the purchase. In some places you can preview the items you're holding even before buying; for example, in a clothing store you can go into a change room. This system even allows for shoplifting some items, although player-crafted or very expensive items cannot be shoplifted on official servers. On the art front, we've brought on new artists and are continuing to build the world you'll be exploring. We've also been focusing on the interiors of buildings and characters. We've gotten our first facial hair assets and are approaching a complete character customization system. An overhaul of character skin and hair has Identity's characters looking incredibly life-like in comparison to other MMORPGs. Next on that list for a re-work is the eyes.

1 pointI think it's obvious that everyone should have a chance in the Police Department. However if they abuse they should be removed/banned from the police department. I know 13 year olds who are far better at being a police officer then a 20 year old.
