2 pointsI agree, it'll be great begging for money then later walking into the driver seat of a 120k vehicle and driving off into the sunset.
-
2 points1. There is no AI walking on street, they will be filling up the boring jobs though. Also, I really don't think that that is to few. 2. I do know that there are Official servers (and player-made) but I am not sure how many nor what regions. 3. I personally think having only voice chat is good for the most part although there are a few downfalls. (Please note I am not a mod nor am I a dev so please take this with a grain of salt.)

1 pointFamtiano Family RP Story The Famtiano Family was created in the poor Italian neighborhoods in New York during the prohibition era in the 1920s. With their high expertise and their wealthy allies they became powerful. In the 1940s they expanded into Los Angeles and Boston, buying clubs and fronts there as well. Famtiano was loved by the people, not only for the help they got, but also since Famtiano was known for not being violent (unless it was necessary of course). Everything great have to end, and during the 1950s the Family got too big for its own good and infighting began. A major breakout faction in the family caused Famtiano to leave Boston, and with that lots of income. The Family stayed under the radar for years before being one of the first to help build Las Vegas to what it is today. Owning and operating plenty of clubs and casinos the Famtiano quickly became one of the most powerful crime families in the US. The next couple of years and decades Famtiano expanded: San Fransisco, Miami, New Orleans, Chicago, as well as reclaiming Boston. They got plenty of allies, The Yakuza, The Irish mob, and many more, and with the careful job they do the FBI cannot trace any crimes back to them. To reach a mob you need the help from the people, but the people aren’t interested in helping. Cause after all, the mafia is just creative entrepreneurs, looking to make money. That’s what the Mob is about. Making money. The difference between normal businessmen and the mob is that the mob isn’t evil, and that they do not pay taxes. Still powerful ´til this day, and with the funding focus shifting from Law Enforcement to the War on Terror the Famtiano is looking to expand again. What made the Famtiano Family move mostly away from the US was the new law that was named R.I.C.O act. The high-ups in the Famtiano Family decided they needed somewhere new to expand, so they handed over a secret deal with one of the biggest Yakuza Families to get help with smuggeling the members out from the US to the Island of Identity. More info about what we do The Famtiano Family is not an organization were you get to kill people and so on. We focus on our members and money. Of course we will need to take action sometimes to either get more money or to simply make it easier for us to get the money, but we do watch over our official members. We pay our members regarding on how much their income on the jobs they do, let us say for an example an official member #1 got about 5 000$ in this week. The min. was 4 500$. The 4 500$ goes up in different split. So the #1 get probably 800$ the Capo ( Captain) of that made man get 1 200$ and the rest is so on divided up to the boss. The boss has to share what was given from the Capo to the other high ranks such as Consigliere and Underboss. The jobs we usually do is wide. Sometimes insurance fraud, hijack cargo, smuggle cargo, delievery jobs and so on. If you want to understand more then think about us as Gods of Calamity. We don't cause catastrophes for fun and nor for free. By Calamity we mean we can do your jobs, almost any job considering a wide range. Our title/ranking system Boss/Don/Capo De Tutti Capi Underboss Consigliere Capo/ Captain Soldier / Made Men __________________ Associates We do have of course small other ranks such as enforcers, makers, Amico's, buttons, and so on but we won't give all sort details now. We consider our Made Men and above like our real family. We protect them with our hands and heads. Captains usually have small teams of Soldiers / made men to work for them to be their "sales" manager kind of. They collect within a week a certain amount that the underboss decides. The made men/ soldiers can operate 1-2 associates normally and be their pals kind of. They can get help from them and so on. How to join the Famtiano Family We are very strict on joining and we do not mess around. We do not do application, rather than that we want to get to know our members so they will become our associates. Let us say that some of our members ( Soldiers, made men ) were at a cafe very often, that means we control that cafe and so on, let us say that if you sat at that cafe very often like us, we would have investigated in you. If we knew you were a cop or working for the goverment we would not bother talking to you. However if you were something else like a small time criminal or even a normal job within a normal company we would have asked you some stuff. To sum it all up, it all comes down to how you show your activity to us and your passion for our type of work. Of course this might be hard on the forums but you can always message people in the family and so on to get to know them better. Our current state Now we do not like to brag too much, but our current state is defently not poorly. We already have many official members and enough business deals and connections but if you ever want to make a deal or something then just contact us. We will not give out our current members details but maybe sooner in the future. Best regards the Famtiano Family Board.

1 pointIn the recent review done with Asylum, (found here, http://www.eternagaming.com/exclusive-interview-with-identity/) a concert hall was mentioned that players can rent to host classical, rock, etc. events and I am wondering how many of you besides myself are musicians and would be interested in forming an orchestra to perform in what I'm assuming with be Roseport Performing Arts Center or something along the lines. There is very little information on what kind of instruments will actually be available in Identity, so this could end up being a complete waste of time, (which correctly represents the life of a classical musician anyways). Please let me know with a message with a little bit of info about yourself and we will move on from there!

In English, this barese saying means when the snow melts, the shit appears. The message? Inevitably, as time passes, the truth is discovered. Buonasera.

1 pointNo, if you have the higher tier you cannot choose the rusted car over the bike unfortunately because my friend wants the same thing. He has $90 pledge but wants the rusted car instead of the bike.
-
1 pointYah it'll be on Steam when it's released! Not entirely sure how the activation will work, but I'm sure we'll be able to.
-
1 pointThe "classical" theme for the concert hall is what got my excited for the instruments. Not particularly sure how the "themes" thing will work out but I'm hoping for the best.

1 pointI checked the FAQ's and searched and didn't find anything, so hopefully this idea isn't a double. Allow police or detectives to build large cases against crime families. I don't have any idea how the game currently works but I would like to see it where a detective could "store" crimes against a certain person. Id think it would have to be crimes the detective personally witnessed as this would prevent friends of the criminal in the department from clearing out cases against their friends, or some other type of local mechanic for just that detective so they can work it. When the crimes are stored up, an arrest can be made against that person, and any other criminals that are part of the case. Then at the detectives discretion he can drop charges in exchange for cooperation or information. This will allow other cases to be built, and roleplay to happen on a larger scale between police agencies and criminals. Nobody sweats a traffic ticket, but when the man shows up with the big case file, you know that's when you are in trouble. I would like to see some kind of system in place where police can work large cases against criminals and large crime families. I know RICO is what destroyed most organized crime families in America, and I'm not suggesting that here. But something like that may be interesting too, since all members of a crime family benefit from the gang's illegal activites, that they could somehow be held accountable under that same blanket.

Btw i really wanna say that i love your concept with the game, and i cant wait to try it out. I've been checking your web page daily, and i'm so exited every time u post something. I'm hoping to hear from you soon. Best regards - Kasper

1 pointI was thinking that similarly to how you can paint something on a canvas and hang it on your wall, that maybe you could take photos with a camera or your smartphone and hang them on your wall. Just an idea.
-
1 pointI know It sounds really basic, but I want to strive to be the best Pizza Boy in Identity!

1 pointIf we can live off the land why not be a farmer? You can grow your own food. Sell it for a profit, expand land, maybe animals? Get a nice fancy tractor to drive around and a straw hat and overalls! Could be exciting to see all you could do with farming.

1 pointPC Characters as in player controlled characters, haha, my bad. I'm not sure the business, but I think I may start as an employee, gain some experience and then venture on my own way from there.
-
1 point300 may or may not stay the server cap depending on how well they can handle the servers. They can only find out by testing. I'm sure there will be more information released before the game is out. Also, 300 might not sound like a lot, but I'm sure we will feel differently when we actually experience in-game.
-
1 point2. Pretty much what @MarvinForman1 said but, Official servers will be probably in the most popular areas like EU, AU, US etc. but no official stuff on where servers will be. Also there should be many official servers like games like ARK. 3. Yes there will be text chat but I think it will be the basics. Voice chat is more viable for this type of game.

1 pointNot everyone no, but they will have to stay at a hotel instead if they want a safe haven. This wouldn't work really if they don't have the apartment or house and that's why you should be able to disconnect anywhere as long as someone is not insight of you. That don't include being kidnapped e.g. ziptied

1 pointHello. I recently had a thought spring to mind, that being how the making of items in game will be. With my field being fashion, I am most interested in how the attire manufacturing system will work, it would be a major letdown if the only clothes I could make was by mixing and matching presets to make a new unique item, i.e picking a predefined set of arms to go with a predefined set of pockets to go with a predefined set of lapels etc. On the other hand, I dont see you making us 3D model fully customised clothing, so I am very interested to know how this system will work.

1 pointApplication Form Your Name: Remington Vanderbilt Which Job Are You Interested In?: Chief of Marketing Why?: The whole point of marketing is to get a product to sell, and to sell well. If no one is buying, someone is not doing their job effectively. Without proper marketing, all of the time and effort put into producing the product is wasted, and time is money. The more time wasted, the less money we are all getting. Why Should I Hire You Over Someone Else?: I am in the process of marketing my fashion start-up currently, and taking things that I know (and don't know) I feel as though I can be an integral part in this well-tuned machine. I have an extensive knowledge of Sociology and Psychology, so I will be able to synthesize those with my experiences here. I am clean, neat, and precise, something I believe that will benefit the company and also something that I can also improve on. Any Experience In The Fashion Industry?: As referenced above, I am currently in the process of starting up my own clothing line and I model for many clothing start-ups on the internet.

1 pointIt's been a busy, eventful and productive month for the Identity team at Asylum! Only a few weeks ago we released our first video showing real in-game content, the player housing system, and Identity has gotten a good bit of much-needed exposure! If you haven't seen the video, visit Identity's YouTube channel. Our programmers, especially Henrik Sonesson, have upgraded our inventory mechanics and created two new important gameplay systems these last weeks. The library which you'll have access to in the Town Square module is now in place and functional. Players can both read public domain classic books in-game, or even write their own and submit them to the library for other players to read. In addition, the NPC shop systems are now in place. When you enter most shops you'll be able to find the items you need on racks or displays around the store. Grab what it is you're looking for and then make your way to the cash register to make the purchase. In some places you can preview the items you're holding even before buying; for example, in a clothing store you can go into a change room. This system even allows for shoplifting some items, although player-crafted or very expensive items cannot be shoplifted on official servers. On the art front, we've brought on new artists and are continuing to build the world you'll be exploring. We've also been focusing on the interiors of buildings and characters. We've gotten our first facial hair assets and are approaching a complete character customization system. An overhaul of character skin and hair has Identity's characters looking incredibly life-like in comparison to other MMORPGs. Next on that list for a re-work is the eyes.

1 pointThis was a thing for a while in Rust. Suffice to say it was handled poorly. If you were close enough to someone you could access their inventory like a loot container.

1 pointAn update in the future after release seems fair. I think it would be equally fair if it just never happened at all. I just thought it might add some zest into detective work. You know, something small to work on in between murders and rigged elections.

1 pointYesterday afternoon, for another Identity Insider, we've released a video detailing the workings of player housing in Identity and what it has to offer at our present point in development. This gives you a good idea of the level of fidelity we're going for in all of our key systems, and more videos will follow as we continue. Housing was chosen for our first video as our initial focus in development is for features present in the upcoming Town Square module. If you haven't already seen the video, check it out above. Housing as you've seen in the video is an excellent place to hang out with friends, but it has a lot of good practical uses, too! First, housing is the primary storage location for items you've collected. Whether it's a bookshelf full of books, a gun-rack with wall-mounted guns, or a crate full of junk, it's sort of like a bank for tangible stuff. Housing is also valuable for moderate crafting, too. Some advanced recipes might require a factory, but a lot of stuff can be created at your home using special crafting tables. A hydroponics table can even be used to grow small-scale plants, legal or otherwise!
