1 pointWho we are We are a group of people who buy and loan. We mainly loan people money with slight interest on top. Along with the loans we need a deposit on the loan, depending how big the loan is this could be anything from a piece of art to your home. We also buy/sell homes and any property straight of the bat. Who we need I need a couple of confident people who can manage separate deals and please the clients. I need some people who are good at math and can calculate exactly what deposit needs to be taken. I also need a third party debt collector agency *Will add more soon*

1 pointMy ideas and suggestions for Law Enforcement in the game By @Indoorseeker If you have any questions please ask Outline 1 Mission, Vision, Core Values, Code of Ethics 2 Hiring Process 3 Hierarchy and Rank 4 Organizational Chart 5 Real life levels of Law Enforcement in the United States 6 In Game levels of Law Enforcement 7 Real life population ratios versus In Game population ratios 8 Law Enforcement Presence 9 Duties and functions 10 Tools, Gear, Equipment, Uniforms, Vehicles 1 Law Enforcement Mission, Vision, Core Values, Code of Ethics These are important for any real law enforcement agency to have as these items are often the foundation of what makes your agency and what your agency strives for. (Example) Mission Our mission is to safeguard the lives, rights and property of the people we serve; to reduce the incidence and fear of crime; and to enhance public safety while working with our community to improve their quality of life. Vision It is our vision to make our community one of the safest and most enjoyable places to live and to be a leader in public safety. Core Values Professionalism, Honor, Integrity, Courage, Excellence Law Enforcement Code of Ethics As a Law Enforcement Officer, my fundamental duty is to serve mankind; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the Constitutional rights of all men to liberty, equality and justice. I will keep my private life unsullied as an example to all; maintain courageous calm in the face of danger, scorn, or ridicule; develop self-restraint; and be constantly mindful of the welfare of others. Honest in thought and deed in both my personal and official life, I will be exemplary in obeying the laws of the land and the regulations of my department. Whatever I see or hear of a confidential nature or that is confided to me in my official capacity will be kept ever secret unless revelation is necessary in the performance of my duty. I will never act officiously or permit personal feelings, prejudices, animosities or friendships to influence my decisions. With no compromise for crime and with relentless prosecution of criminals, I will enforce the law courteously and appropriately without fear or favor, malice or ill will, never employing unnecessary force or violence and never accepting gratuities. I recognize the badge of my office as a symbol of public faith, and I accept it as a public trust to be held so long as I am true to the ethics of the police service. I will constantly strive to achieve these objectives and ideals, dedicating myself before God* to my chosen profession...law enforcement. *footnote... individuals not obligated or required to mention God in their oath if they choose. 2 The Hiring Process In real life a person applying and testing to become a police officer will usually go through the following steps: apply to agency, participate in written and physical test, your application good scores will help place you on the agency candidate list, agency conducts oral board interview, one on one interview, background check, psychological test, doctors physical, final interview and official offer of employment. After the offer of employment the person would go into a probationary period of employment and start training with in the agency and then go to an academy usually within the first 6 months of hire. To my knowledge, game creators have said that there will be an application process that is a quiz and/or test that players will be required to take and that will determine if they can become a law enforcement officer or not. This quiz and/or test will be an automatic function on official servers to my understanding. 3 Hierarchy and Rank It is my suggestion and recommendation that the law enforcement agency on the game identity be the Sheriff's Office. I will explain more later. Sheriff Under sheriff Major Captain Sergeant Corporal Deputy Recruit 4 Organizational Chart Please refer to the attached image LE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART below 5 Real life levels of Law Enforcement in the United States Federal- federal agencies police all over the nation and usually respond at the request of state, local, and municipal agencies. State- the state police or state patrol polices the entire state, mainly on highways. County- the sheriff's office polices in all areas of the county, especially unincorporated cities and towns. Municipal - a police department polices in an incorporated city. 6 In Game levels of Law Enforcement As seen suggested on the forum, the population capacity on official servers is hoped to be about 300 players. Realistically for the game, it would be best to have one law enforcement agency that operates in order to save time, resources, and server space. I am suggesting it be a Sheriff's Office because Municipal Agencies in real life only patrol with in the city limits of the incorporated city they are based in. The county sheriff's office patrols all areas of the county, incorporated or not. And when you have a county who's population is really small, similar to the 300 player capacity in the game, it would be the sheriff's office that is the law enforcement presence in the area. You would not see a police department until a city was large enough to become incorporated. Also, the sheriff in real life is an elected official as well as a sworn in law enforcement officer. If this part was implemented into the game, it could provide an interesting feature to the game and role play environment. 7 Real life population ratios versus In Game population ratios In real life, according to FBI statistics, the average ratio of law enforcement officers to the general population is about 2 officers for every 1,000 people. So realistically, 300 people would only require one officer technically, but for role play and immersion there will be more people playing as police officers. I would recommend not going more than 10 % or 30 officers on a server. The other thing to think about is that Law Enforcement agencies are paid with tax payer money. Taxes are collected and a portion is reserved to pay for public safety and law enforcement wages. So if the official server is implemented to be as realistic as possible, the island government may not even have enough funds to pay for a lot of law enforcement officers. 8 Law Enforcement Presence In real life, on a shift, police generally break up their patrol area into different sections. This is especially true for a sheriff's office that covers a lot of square miles. Each section is assigned an officer or officers that will patrol that area or section for the duration of their shift. In scenarios where there is a request for additional officers to assist or an emergency dictates more officers, officers in that area or from different sections will respond to meet the need of the scenario. Not everyone would respond all at once, depending on the emergency or situation, but if a request is made or needed, 1 or 2 other officers will break off from their normal patrol and go to where the officer is needed to assist. 9 Duties and functions It is the duty of law enforcement to protect and serve. Both protecting and enforcing the law as well as protecting the individual lives, rights and property of the people they serve. The primary force of law enforcement is on the road. Thus a Patrol Division. The presence of officers on the road and the best coverage on the road is the best deterrent of crime and the fear of crime. The secondary force would be corrections. From small to large counties, the sheriff's office is responsible for the county jail and the smallest of agencies do not separate Sheriff's Deputies and Corrections Officers. For the purpose of the game, it would be best to train and use officers to fulfill the role and function of both Deputies on the road and Deputies in corrections. The third and forth force, investigations and special operations in the largest of agencies will have their own divisions but not always full time. The majority of agencies use already existing officers to fulfill the role of Special Weapons And Tactics. For the purpose of the game, normal officers can be used to fulfill the roles and duties of detectives, swat, air support, drug task force, gang task force, etc as they are needed when situations arise. The best use of resources is to have an officer that has multiple functions and can perform multiple types of tasks and responsibilities. 10 Tools, Gear, Equipment, Uniforms, Vehicles In real life this includes Duty belt Ballistic vest Vest carrier Holsters Firearms, pistol, rifle, shotgun Tasers Flashlights Baton Handcuffs Magazines Radio equipment OC/Pepper Spray Uniform and additional things like coats, etc. Gear bag First Aid Riot Gear Police Barriers Police Vehicle I am really interested to see an in depth customization of uniforms and equipment in the game. Please let me know if you have any questions. Family First, Mission Always. Stay Safe.

1 pointHi all. I just got my Founder pledge. I would have liked to know about this game earlier, but just discovered it some days ago from the first 'gameplay' youtube video showing housing. To be honest, I've been a bit reluctant. I'm into Star Citizen, and the money raised so far is nowhere near. But the video shown by the devs seem to show what there's really made, and that's what I expect from the game. This is the kind of 'game' I can't keep out of anyway. I'm not really looking forward to rob banks or to be a cop. In fact, the first module already contains the features I'm really looking forward to. Looks like I still have time to increase my pledge to get a studio where to live and share with fellow neighbors. TL;DR: I just pledged. I'm in an looking forward to make a living in the neigborhood. Nice to meet you.

1 pointHello everyone. My name is Nebula (ignore the completely unrelated forum name), I purchased the founder edition of the game recently (December the 8th) and only recently have I been exploring the forum community, as a role play enthusiast I have sold drugs on the streets of DarkRP and other GMOD related role plays, Crossed borders with copious amounts of Cocaine on the continent of Altis and not to exclude the off-screen role play encounters such as dungeons and dragons, to say the least.. I'm a fan of role play. henceforth I am extremely exited to enter the world of Identity. Whether I will take part in legal or illegal activities I am uncertain, however I hope to interact with all of you. Good day. - Nebula

1 pointRecently I was on the website for the upcoming game 'Last Year' Which is pretty much the Friday the 13th game. Anyway, I noticed on that site that it had a 'Backer only area' which meant that the people who had backed the game on kickstarter had first hand access to prototypes, screenshots and sneak peeks etc. I think that would be a superb idea here because to be honest the people who helped get this thing off the ground in the first place haven't been put forward of anybody else whatsoever. What do you guys think? @HairyGrenade @Motown @Paratus

1 pointI'm just looking for some people who want to play and explore the town square module when it comes out
-
1 pointThanks man! idk what his looks like but I'm still gonna take that as a compliment Also @Qlight123 In a few days when my new PC comes in I'll be creating myself a logo. Thanks, Capped

1 pointCharacter customization is going to be very in-depth in Identity as the devs feel it is one of the most important aspects of the game. There will be numerous hair styles to choose from as well as longer hair for males.
-
1 pointWell if that's the case and we see a flooding of people trying to join we would make them sit through a waiting period. Have them fill out documents and see what type of history they would have. We would take the right steps to further eliminate corruption all together.
-
1 pointYeah its only a few people but it no one does anything about it then there could be more politicans joining in to get more money.
-
1 point@DROSE The devs are going to make sure it's optimised fully and this includes when we have the beta, that's for stress testing and testing in general and i am sure that will tell them if they need to optimise it more. They out of all people know what it's like to experience lag when roleplaying I am sure as I heard Altis Life never had smooth game play 24/7.

1 pointNobody is going to read this. You know why? Because You Capitalised Every God Damn Word And It's Fucking Painful To Read.

1 pointI was going to hide it under the pile of dirty/clean laundry on my bedroom floor.
-
1 pointAll they said was that you'll get a studio apartment and you have to make sure before buying that you are want a thing that isn't finished yet, no matter how it'll turn out.
-
1 pointI agree with the others that A. Your response was a bit salty and B. Although you joined in January I'm pretty sure you never showed your ass until recently, so don't even try and throw your non existent superiority around because you'll just come off a right ponce.
-
1 pointYou will be able to buy the current pledges after the first module is released!
-
1 pointThe modules, are small standalone parts of the full game and where as the beta will be the closest thing to the full version of the game which is mainly for testing/ stress testing servers and such! The first module being due "Early 2017" which is up till April as the first quarter of the year.
-
1 pointWe'd love to do this! We still need to integrate pledge tiers into forum user accounts. After that is sorted, we'll see about making this happen!

1 pointWell i don't know when it comes out, but I already got a passport and as I saw, you can upgrade your version at any time. So if I want Beta access, I can just pay another 15 Dollar and get it.

1 pointIt's been a busy, eventful and productive month for the Identity team at Asylum! Only a few weeks ago we released our first video showing real in-game content, the player housing system, and Identity has gotten a good bit of much-needed exposure! If you haven't seen the video, visit Identity's YouTube channel. Our programmers, especially Henrik Sonesson, have upgraded our inventory mechanics and created two new important gameplay systems these last weeks. The library which you'll have access to in the Town Square module is now in place and functional. Players can both read public domain classic books in-game, or even write their own and submit them to the library for other players to read. In addition, the NPC shop systems are now in place. When you enter most shops you'll be able to find the items you need on racks or displays around the store. Grab what it is you're looking for and then make your way to the cash register to make the purchase. In some places you can preview the items you're holding even before buying; for example, in a clothing store you can go into a change room. This system even allows for shoplifting some items, although player-crafted or very expensive items cannot be shoplifted on official servers. On the art front, we've brought on new artists and are continuing to build the world you'll be exploring. We've also been focusing on the interiors of buildings and characters. We've gotten our first facial hair assets and are approaching a complete character customization system. An overhaul of character skin and hair has Identity's characters looking incredibly life-like in comparison to other MMORPGs. Next on that list for a re-work is the eyes.
-
1 pointOn official servers, it'll be set that you can see the name of a player who your crosshair or cursor is currently over. There will also be an option for community servers which hides all names of players until they "wave" at you, to introduce themselves.

1 pointHello Genesmith my good sir, I have recently posted a new "Union" so to speak for men and woman of only the utmost honor. You sir seem to be of the fitting category. The Platinum Club as we have come to calling it a prestigious formation of high class people on which the very foundation is built upon us, the rich, the famous, the leaders, and the powerful. Our goal is simple; to control and manipulate the production and distribution of high end goods and resources throughout the island of Identity, and of course to retain a healthy profit from doing so, as well as to increase our wealth and status or at least maintain it throughout the game world.. We are currently accepting CEO's of affluent businesses such as the one you own yourself, Celebrities, and of course political figures to hold sway over the commoners of Identity. You sir would make a stunning edition to the Platinum Club, and we would love to have you aboard. Please reply on this post or PM me if you would prefer if you would like any further details, or if you are interested in joining the club. More information can also be found on my post found in the business section of the forums. Cheers, Bob Ross, CEO of Bob Ross: Promoter of Fine Art, and Founder of The Platinum Club
