Hey there @LucaPlays, please use the search bar located at the top right of this page since this has been answered multiple times already. It's unclear exactly what type pf PC specs you will need to run Identity since it is too early in development, but if you can run games like GTA 5, ArmA 3 or Ark then you can run Identity.

While every mobster or "wise guy" is different than the other, a standard template can be established for how they live. Characteristics: A wise guy usually has a bad temper. They can't hold down a normal job because they won't take orders from people that they perceive as lower in power than them. (Such as most other men, and all women, except for their mother/grandmother). So to make a living, they take from those that deserve it. (Atleast most of the time.) A wiseguy respects women, but does not let them step over him. He is the boss of his house. He must be self confident; a weak man would never last as a mobster, whether it be mentally or physically weak. A wiseguy isn't necessarily rascist or sexist, but he isn't politically correct either. Clothing: The suit: It can be blue, it can be black, it can have a tie, it can be open collar. Mobsters can wear a variety of suits, as long as they aren't too tight or hipster looking. The suit is the business attire of a mobster and is worn at meetings and important ceremonies. The leather jacket: It can be a classic one, a bomber, or a longer coat, the leather jacket is the standard of day to day apparel of a mobster. Pants: Mobsters typically wear slacks, dress pants, or regular cut jeans, not skinny jeans. The tracksuit: Ya, I know. This is what a sleazy debt collector from New Jersey would wear, but that's the point. Various other apparel: Other attire can include peacoats, overcoats, wife beater undershirts, leather loafers, Italian style white tennis/soccer shoes, gold crucifix chains, rings, fedoras, and old school greek fisherman type hats. Some of these clothes might look horribly out of fashion to some people, but remember this: most mobsters don't follow fashion. They don't care about brand names. This is how many modern Italian American mobsters dress, and that's what matters. *Note, not all members of the Luprano family have to, or will dress like this, but it's an example of the some of the things we might wear. Leisure: Wiseguys enjoy eating fine Italian food, and enjoy drinks such as cognac/brandy, various whisk(e)ys, dark rums, wine and beer. They enjoy smoking cigars such as cohibas and montecristos. They drive cars like Cadillacs, Lincoln's, various sports cars and luxury sedans. They are the epitome of a man, and they will break your head if you tell them otherwise.

Yesterday afternoon, for another Identity Insider, we've released a video detailing the workings of player housing in Identity and what it has to offer at our present point in development. This gives you a good idea of the level of fidelity we're going for in all of our key systems, and more videos will follow as we continue. Housing was chosen for our first video as our initial focus in development is for features present in the upcoming Town Square module. If you haven't already seen the video, check it out above. Housing as you've seen in the video is an excellent place to hang out with friends, but it has a lot of good practical uses, too! First, housing is the primary storage location for items you've collected. Whether it's a bookshelf full of books, a gun-rack with wall-mounted guns, or a crate full of junk, it's sort of like a bank for tangible stuff. Housing is also valuable for moderate crafting, too. Some advanced recipes might require a factory, but a lot of stuff can be created at your home using special crafting tables. A hydroponics table can even be used to grow small-scale plants, legal or otherwise!

Hey fellow Law Enforcers With this topic I'd like to inform and assist you in understanding and creating a police department. It's important that departments are organised and have a structure to ensure officers are appointed to tasks and supervisors ensure tasks are completed. While rank structure is an important part of your department, it's also important to have a good divisional structure. Hopefully at the end of the text you're a bit wiser on how a police department works. We'll start of with Police Ranks. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hierarchy Staff Officers Chief Of Police - In charge of the department and handles public relations with other departments aswell as controls internal procedures and protocolsDeputy Assistant Chief Of Police - In charge of the department when the Chief of Police is on absence Deputy Chief of Police - In charge of a large part of the department, known as an Office. Example: Office of Operations or Office of Counter Terrorism Command Officers Commander - In charge of a training within the department. Example: Sergeant In Training or Detective In Training Captain - In charge of a precinct or leads all patrols within a certain area and acts as a supervisor to supervisors. Lieutenant - In charge of a larger division and serves as city wide/ patrol wide supervisor. Supervisor Sergeant - In charge of smaller divisions or head of certain aspects within divisions. Alse the first contact point for basic officers Senior Lead Officer - A non commissioned officer who is in training to become either a supervisor or detective.. Investigator Detective In Charge - In charge of a investigation division and will handle day to day requests from lower ranked Detectives. Also in charge of casefiles. Detective - Basic detective who investigates crimes after they happened and observes organised crimes Senior Lead Officer - A non commissioned officer who is in training to become either a supervisor or detective. Non Commissioned Officers Police Officer III - Patrol officer who teaches the new officers the way around the department. Police Officer II - Basic Patrol officer who makes up most of the department. Police Officer I - Newly inducted Police Officers who are in their probationary stage and learn the way of the department. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hierarcy With the previous mentioned hierarcy the base of your department should be filled. However it is always possible to adjust the ranks towards the need of your department. For example you can create a Senior Sergeant who would be a basic sergeant, but in training to become a Lieutenant. Another example is a Lieutenant I and Lieutenant II. Where the I would ensure larger divisions are kept under control the Lieutenant II would handle a precinct or multiple patrols. Ranks also work hand in had with your organisation. For example if you have 7 divisions it might be wise to have 7 lieutenants or a few lieutenants of the bigger divisions and sergeants of the smaller divisions. It's important to know your department, because some divisions will require more intense handeling than others. Warrants and searches require more knowledge of the penal code and law than a traffic division. For that reason it's better to have a Lieutenant handle the Investigation divisions and a Sergeant the Traffic Division. The higher the rank the more legal and situational knowledge a person must have. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Organization Chart _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Organization Know your department and its needs! It's very important to ensure your department has a wide arrangement of divisions people can join so their day to day tasks are never the same and never boring. A good structure is most needed in the department and every part of it has a person controlling it. Divisions by Sergeants, Large divisions by Lieutenants, Precincts by Captains, Offices by Deputy Chiefs and at the top the Chief of Police. The way a good structure works if that a basic officer will not have to complain to the Chief of Police. If he has a problem he should go to his appointed sergeant. If he can not solve it, the sergeant goes to his superior and so on. Because there are limited amounts of divisions in an Office there will be a good overview of them all. It's important that the division leader reports to the Office leader and the Office leader to the Chief of Police. Ensure to give your Deputy Chief of Police enough power to change his Office by only having to inform the Chief of Police with the changes. This way there is more control and better support for every division and they will know who too contact when there is a problem. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ GENERAL NOTICE: If you have comments or have questions about a certain aspect within the police department, you can always ask it here. I'll try to give a good answer to every question asked. Obviously if your question is important, it will also be added in the topic along with the explanation. If you have certain subjects to add aswell you can always PM me and it will be added into the topic along with credits too your name. This topic is aimed to give a detailed guide on how to make or understand a police department and hopefully the community works with eachother to give tips to other servers. Sorry for possible writing errors

It is inevitable. No matter how much we complain and no matter how many restrictions they put in place, we need to come to the realisation that children (immature ones in particular) are going to get their hands on this game. Kids who treat this game like GTA or COD. It is going to happen no matter what precautions we take. I would like to discuss possible ways that we, as a community can come together and instead of prevention, we need to decide how to deal with the issues. I recommend that we act mature. If a kid is mass RDMing, don't kick and scream, don't act like a kid in OOC, just ignore them. I know it will be hard, but it is the only way we can discourage kids from playing like that. Kids are apart of the community, and while we would all rather not have them here, its not something we can control. If a kid is RDMing, run and hide and quietly report it on the forums. Act like you arent even annoyed, like you just want to report it incase it happens again. They commit these actions for an equal and opposite reaction, we dont want to give them the reactions that entice them to commit the atupid actions. Can we as a community agree to treat these situations calmly? Let me know your thoughts below.

A good idea, but sadly if you looked around the forum you would know that; 1. Official servers won't have permanent death. 2. Private/community server owners will have the option for permanent death but it's there choice. This idea will penalise criminals who don't kill people and so really it's not that fair to them, because why do they deserve to have higher insurance rates if they only sell drugs to make money? Also Role-Playing a character as a serial killer is fine because its not RDM as the character has a background of him being crazy.

The suggestion is that players can operate their own 'consumer' trucks. By this I mean food trucks, Ice cream trucks and trucks that sell merchandise and such out the side of the back - aka a mobile shop. These can allow the player to move their shop to markets easily, to just RP as a Mr Whippy and just for a bit of fun really. Example of 'consumer' merch truck; -Also players could own the classic hotdog and etc stands, probably using an AI to sell the goods because of the small job, but it would make the owner money.

Personally, I think they should be appointed by the Supervisors or Captains of all the offices. That way the person who is chosen is right for the job, as sometimes the public doesn't know and at (most) times a governor can be clueless. But that's just me.

you have a gtx 970 and probably 8 gb ram + some vram? i'm not sure why you ask but with that rig you'll most probably have no problem (except you've installed the wrong drivers). optimization etc. depends on the amount of settings you can choose between.

@Luck I run a small community based of my club, The Gentleman's Club. We are currently small but we are trying to get new members but not hundreds at a time. We gain like 1 or 2 a week but its going well. We play all sorts of games from Rust, GTA V, ArmA, Squad, War Thunder and the list goes on. Admin team is very nice and has the experience needed to run a community. We are currently hosting a GTA V meetup session possibly tonight if you are interested to join. We plan on meeting in game and on teamspeak and just generally relaxing. Of course, other events are bound to follow. If you are interested, here is a link to my forum. Feel free to join us or to ignore us http://beyondallhope.ipbhost.com/

You most likely could. It might get a bit cramped if your in a 1-2 bedroom apartment but you could but like two beds in each room and have more than 2. Just my guess, @HairyGrenade this would be nice to know if you could clarify.

Well, private server owners will have a option to either put permanent death or not, I am sure the official servers will have no permanent death. Also when you die (so to speak) you will have an option, either "wait for the ambulance to come and revive you or respawn at your last bind point" But having a option with only 3 lives could be interesting but what if a troll rdm's you 3 times? @HairyGrenade will confirm if anything here is correct or not.

I can only guess that dirty money can and will be a bit of a problem. So I am here for the proposal of The Laundromat. Didn't know whether or not to post this here or in business, because it kind of fits both. I plan on opening up a clothing line, some hopefully nice looking clothes to keep all of you criminals looking nice and sharp. Of course, we might fudge our profits a little bit... Give the benefit right unto you! We at The Laundromat plan on giving our customers a 75 cent on the dollar exchange, which crushes the laundry industry high of 50 cents on the dollar. Our motto here is "It only costs 25 cents to do your laundry!" Will be looking forward to all of our potential customers, and hopefully some people looking for employment. Like most clothing and crafts companies, we need designers. So I extend my hand to all of you crafty criminals, get some designs going and let's clean up our dirty dollars!

So you're proposing that a game which is entirely centered around player interaction should have an offline mode? At the risk of sounding like an arsehole, you may as well play GTA V if that's the kind of game you're looking for.

"what I'm saying is that your party is a shit show (sorry about language)"....Not an argument. "that is it were to get into power would last about a week before either the server died or an organised group tried to seize control"..Not an argument. "this party doesn't actually have any major issues with it so far unlike yours"...Not an argument. "my co-worker used the example of the French revolution but I'll put it differently"...Which has nothing to do with Anarcho-Capitalism whatsoever. "what you would create is a power vacuum, this is where there is no leader or government creating a hole were anyone can try to become leader, this would attract progressively worse groups, gangs and mafias and triads, to your server so they can attempt to take over with out the police stopping them. the way you have bluntly ignored most people telling you these things also shows how you are not fit to take office as you would ignore all political advice and would likely cause an economic crash and housing crash as suddenly, there are no police or firefighters so a simple house fire could devastate the city and people would be murdered on the street over something as simple as taking the last Twinkie."...Nope. You obviously haven't read about the NAP or how we´ll deal with criminality in a anarcho-capitalist society if that's what you think we´re striving for. "are you starting to understand what people are trying to say"...What people? Your party? The conservatives? I don't know what type of people you´re talking about.
