3 pointsYou clearly haven't witnessed the true mindnumbing powers of the squeaker then, and we most definitely all have. @Shimozukachi makes a good point because the only way to make them stop being purposefully annoying is by making them feel small, so they will fuck off. It sounds harsh but when you remove the age difference from the equation they are still another individual making your gaming experience appaling, so why stand for it? Also I disagree as well with the idea of a subscription, there just isn't a valid enough reason to take that model. Especially now, when we have all already paid for it and only just been given an update, the last thing we want is another update stating the game is going to cost us all more money.
-
3 pointsYou are extremely ignorant and honestly I'd rather play with children than stubborn entitled people like yourself. Everyone has the right to enjoy this piece of work, if they mess up then report them. I'm sure you were a kid once, probably still are to be honest. So ignorant, show some respect, we are all gamers so no matter how old we are. Absolutely ridiculous
-
3 pointsNo, I won't pay a subscription and well its not going to be a subscription game anyways. But why would they make it subscription if it will take away a lot of customers/ players, + (it makes the game shit in my opinion.) Nevertheless they won't make it subscription because its a pay to play game (buy the game and you play the game at no extra). I think its a stupid idea as its inevitable to get rid of kids. Kids will still be stubborn like @SamanthaFur said and so really it will just get rid of those who can't afford to pay a sunscription fee every month.

2 pointsI was styling my subreddit when I thought of making one for Identity, so I did it! Come join the reddit community as well! Visit Here. I will post status updates about the game frequently!
-
2 pointsIf I had to choose between these two names I would choose Paramo. However, I hope Paramo is not selected if you get my drift...
-
2 pointsI completely agree with you that most kids are annoying and ruin the experience. I don't know if you were talking about all kids but I am 13 myself, I enjoy playing games like Identity not for combat, killing, all that stuff, but for the RP, I don't think the whole group of people should be shamed just because of a majority of them, either way though some kids such as myself enjoy RP'ing and making friends or having new experiences, I don't think we should all be penilized for the actions of a majority of people.

2 pointsGuys chill your beans it's the resident troll AZIZ coming back as his 600th alias after being banned numerous times. Just ignore him and he can't do anything, his intentions are purely to get on your nerves, I assure you.

2 pointsPledge rewards will carry over on official servers so players can get the rewards they payed for, but not sure about player owned servers yet, they are still deciding.

2 pointsGreetings @Herzog, First of all, I would like to express my interest in joining "The Gentleman's Club." Second, I am highly impressed with your organization and would like to be so bold as to offer my input and suggestions as in real life I am a corrections officer and I am the current elected treasurer on the board of the corrections association where I work. Further, I would like to offer my services if you find the need for them. As I said I am currently the treasurer on the board of the corrections association I am a member of currently and I offer that as experience in addition to what I will share below. I have observed that you have organized "The Gentleman's Club" similar to an association. Chairman is comparable to the position of President in an association. Vice Chairman is comparable to the position of Vice President in an association. Secretary is comparable to the position of Secretary and Treasurer in an association. Baron is comparable to the position of Secretary and Treasurer in an association. Duke is comparable to an extra position of Board Member. Your additional titles are all comparable to the position of Association Membership. All positions on our board are positions that our Association Membership nominate and elect to be on the Association Board. The purpose of our association is to collect membership dues from our membership of officers monthly. A portion of those funds is then used to pay our Union dues. Our bank account grows because we collect dues that are more than our Union requirements. This allows us to pay for different events and functions that the Association hosts for its membership. Another purpose of the Association Board is to represent membership in cooperation with our union on matters of grievance, discipline, and other concerns. Our Board Members consist of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. The President hosts all meetings and calls all meetings to order and is the first in charge and the Primary representative of the Association. The Vice President is the second in charge and would substitute the role of President when the President is unavailable. The Treasurer maintains the financial account of the Association and records all income, expenses, and costs. The Secretary maintains written record of all meetings, occurrences, events, and happenings that involve the Association. The Board Members operate based on the Association Constitution and Bylaws. The Constitution and Bylaws are proposed and created with the involvement of the Association Board and Membership using a voting system. An example of what the Constitution and Bylaws help facilitate is rules for how to operate, what constitutes a member, the definition and duties of board members, what is required for an official meeting, when and how often meetings occur annually, etc. For example, you include in your post that members will need to maintain a To Be Determined amount of money in their bank accounts in order to be eligible for "The Gentleman's Club." Something like that could be a provision within the Constitution and Bylaws and be voted on by the whole membership. Further, let me suggest to you this: "The Gentleman's Club" could receive a lot of funds by members donating any amount they want, but I would also recommend that be one option. I would also have a membership fee and you could make this a minimal amount of money or set it higher if you wish... it would be something the whole membership could vote on it even if established by a Constitution and Bylaws. And you can implement record of dues so when the game comes out the membership you have established prior to the games release would know what they owe to that date and if you have serious and loyal members they will be happy to pay what has so far accrued for being allowed an "early" membership status which includes the discount if you wish and members that don't follow through with the commitment would then be kicked out of the club when the game starts and don't follow through with paying towards their membership. Example: Membership dues are set at $50.00 and start on the date a potential member expresses interest in joining the club. Membership dues are established to be recurrent monthly. So every month each member would deposit $50.00 into the Club's Financial Account. If you have 25 members pay $50.00 each month for 12 months that would be: $1,250 per month and $15,000 a year if you had 25 members paying membership dues each month for 12 months. The Constitution and Bylaws could establish what the collected funds for the Association could be authorized to be used for. Examples that Funds could be used for are: Perks and Entitlements. (Club House Access, etc) Legal representation for members. Investment opportunities. Entrepreneurial Investments. Events and Functions. (Food & Drinks, Unexpected expenses) Official Association Obligations The possibilities are potentially endless and everyone gets sit back, relax, and have some fun. Let me know what you think and if you would like to talk further. Family First, Mission Always. Stay Safe

2 pointsThe only problem is that there are people who will be passionate about this game, but won't be willing to pay a subscription. Sure, it makes there be less kids, but there will still be some stubborn kids willing to pay their allowance every month to play still. If people don't love the game, then they most likely will just stop playing. Not everyone has extra money at the end of a month, in fact some of us barely scrape by with enough to have food on the table. You say there is no negatives, but people will stop paying and stop playing the game. I am very passionate about this game, and sure I could go a couple days without coffee to pay for a subscription, but a whole lot of the player base isn't going to scrape up extra cash to keep paying every month.
-
2 pointsoh, haha. Glad to see I'm not the only one who knows about The Big Lewbowski around these parts.....
-
2 pointsThis has already been suggested in the past and is confirmed that it won't be in the game but could be in the future.
-
2 pointsI think its best to resume the timer because if you had to go or your internet connection died, it would be unfair to be punished more
-
2 pointsGuys can I just say going off the fact he is called 'TheCop' that he might actually be that AZIZ dude, because he always pretended to be a cop and posted the same picture of that pakistani cop dude.

1 pointSo after reading the FAQ a bit more in dept I saw this sentence in one of the questions: "Players cannot access another players home without an invitation." This makes me a bit concerned since that means no robbing of players houses will be possible. Robbing houses is one of the most fun and thrilling things to do in Gmod DarkRP, and if the developers think that robbing peoples houses will have a negative impact on the housing aspect, here are my suggestions: * Give players the ability to buy alarms for their houses (Locks come with the house). * Nerby cops and the player owning the house gets alerted immediately when a house alarm has gone off. * Robbers have to buy a crowbar/lockpick to be able to get inside of the house if the door is locked. * Crowbars/lockpicks will be very limited in stores. * Robbers are only able to slowly carry one object/furniture at a time making the robbing process take loads of time. * Players can buy cameras which can be accessed via your phone (this will probably take loads of time to implement and I don't think it's really that necessary). * To keep certain things safe in the house, players can buy safes. * Robbers are only able to rob a house if it's empty of players (Just to keep the houses safe places to chill and hang out with firends) With only a few of these suggestions implemented, robbing houses would become very hard, which is a good thing since you wouldn't want players houses to constantly get robbed. Also one thing to keep in mind is that the houses in DarkRP are often empty which means that you can easily find the valuable stuff fast, while in Identity, the houses will be filled with loads of furniture making the search harder for robbers. I really hope that the developers will consider these suggestions since I think it would add to the immersion of a game like Identity. EDIT: After some discussion I feel like I need to clearify a few things. Since the developers have said that the only way to enter a house is through an invitation, because the performance will be an issue, I will try to explain my ideas how this could be fixed. So since houses will feature an instanced loadingscreen, the robber could be transfered into the house with a loadingscreen, exactly the same as when a player gets invited. The only difference is that the robber didn't get an invitation. And for example if a player could only invite 10 people to a house, then only 5 robbers and 5 cops should be able to enter the house and there wouldn't be any noticeable differences in the performance. The only problem with this is that if the loading times are long, there could be situations where the cops and robbers could be in a loadingscreen at the same time, which would result in them passing by eachother without the cops or the robbers noticing eachother. The solution to this problem could be to have a display on the door indicating if a player is about the get in/out of the house, or have a blurred verson of the avatar remain standing outside the door while loading. Another thing with the houses is that they are places where you are able to just chill out with friends and such, without any action or robbers. How to fix this problem is to only make robbers able to rob the house if there are no players inside (which includes the owner and the players invited).

1 pointI think it would be interesting if there were animations for specific events/injures. For example: if your character injures their leg, they limp and/or hold their leg to alleviate some of the pain. I also think it would be cool if private servers can enable/disable some animations (like the one listed above) to make the experience less/more realistic. Tell me what you think. Leave some feedback down below.

1 pointLike the change. Makes it more "Professional" I'll definitely be spending some time here with you guys

1 pointyou sound like a five year old. Stop running away from points you claim to be ad hominem, but they really are not. And cut out the yellow text, its like you went psycho with a highlighter.

1 pointHe was just making a point that you practically said yourself. "We are all gamers" this is removing the age from the equation and well yeah it makes them just another individual that is ruining your "game experience for their own amusement"! Why should we suffer with them making us have a bad experience. I respect others how they want to be respected and well if they cannot respect me I can ignore it but when they do it for amusement its another story and so they need to be treated harsh to stop them bothering you.

1 pointIdentity will not be a subscription game, this is a one time payment with some cosmetic micro-transactions.
-
1 pointThe best way to contribute is to pledge some money, this will give the devs more money to hire different and experienced freelancers and maybe even hire more full time people.
-
1 pointWe will be probably using all of them so the metal cardboard (really depends on the client) ect, but it will be 100% eco friendly.

1 pointI am hoping that crime will have a central role to play in Identity but, as with everything, the chance of that happening begins with Asylum & what they give us to work with. Up until now the goal of 'criminals' in games has been to cause problems for the police & if you browse these very forums you will see that this is indeed the goal of many players. I want Identity to change all of that. My hope for Identity is that we see the role of the career criminal as being a viable option, where the goal is to make money. Just like in every other walk of life your success or failure, as a career criminal, is measured by how much cash you make. For crime to have a viable role in Identity then, it is imperative that Asylum put into place ways for criminals to make money. If this does not happen then players will continue to measure the success rate of their criminal role by how 'bad' they are. It is important to note here, that success in the Mafia, for example, is measured by how much money you make, not how high your body count is. Crime will be a great success IF there are game mechanics support it.

1 pointHaving thrift stores located all throughout Identity island would be cool. You might find things that are worth a lot of money. Maybe an expensive pair of jeans, or maybe you might find a $100 bill in a pair of clothing.

1 pointCommunism is the dream that the proletariat masses strive for. It's what keeps hope alive while they work all day for someone else's wealth. The class conflict will not last forever. The bourgeoisie will find defeat in this battle, and when that day comes, I will see to it that a better life is created for everyone. Also, good to meet you as well, I hope we do roleplay upon the release of this game!

1 pointHi again, we have established business partnerships in order to purchase weaponry for discounted prices and with political parties to gain improved access to using firearms since a reputable company dedicated to security services is safer to supply than a criminal organization. We also have private investors who will fund the company on startup for a return on investment in the future. Thanks.

1 pointUnfortunately this was answered in the past and will not be done in game as its confirmed that you cannot build or develop / customise outside of houses in previous questions.

1 pointI think that the drug system should be something can be player to player, or player to NPC. Player to player would be very interesting because trust and how well one knows their contact will be a major factor in trafficking. Plus it would give players the option to either work with one another, or try to size a gain form one another. I get any concern regarding players setting up deals just to kill the dealer player, however I believe there would be or should be consequences for possibly killing or mugging a dealer for the advantage. The consequence could be police involvment, or possibly an addict player getting involved, or even criminal organizations. With NPC's I feel we may lose some of this impact or realism, however NPC involvment could work for a more lighter RP. As for drug use and its impact, I think they should take a realistic approach to effects as well. Some drugs could make you stronger, faster, more alert, more awake, sleepy, etc. However I also believe there should be an addiction level, and a withdrawal system. It would make drug use more of a gamble then a benefit, because you may become stronger for a time, but you risk becoming physically addicted and suffering from withdrawal when not using.

1 pointIdentity Forum Guidelines Last Edit: July 9th, 2018 Participation in the Official Identity forums constitutes agreement to the following guidelines, which apply to posts, profile information, avatars, signatures, private messaging, and any other content on this site and participation in general. The live nature of discussions in this community makes it difficult for staff to catch every violation of these rules. If you believe that someone has violated our User Guidelines, please send a private message to a member of our volunteer moderation team or staff with a link to the content and a brief description of what you believe is wrong. Please do not respond to a violation personally, as you may aggravate the situation and possibly violate our guidelines yourself. Any content that violates our User Guidelines will be removed. Interpretation of our guidelines is at the discretion of the staff. Please do 1. Report violations of the forum rules. Moderators will quickly review reports and make decisions based on the information you provide. 2. Respect others. Showing respect will encourage others to participate in discussion. 3. Like posts, that you feel contribute useful information to a discussion. 4. Read the rules, so that you do not accidentally receive an infraction or ban. 5. Be constructive. Help others by answering questions, and offer feedback to their ideas. 6. Read before posting. Fully Comprehend the topic of discussion and determine what has already been discussed. 7. Use proper grammar and spelling. Read your post before submitting. Spelling mistakes may attract attention away from the discussion. 8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for! Please don’t 1. Troll. Trolling does not contribute to meaningful discussion. 2. Spam. Spamming clutters the forum and makes it difficult to find original content. 3. Flame, or attack others. Insults do not contribute to discussion, and will be removed. 4. Repost Deleted Content. Content that was deleted was removed for a reason, even if the reason is unclear. 5. Demonstrate or perpetuate toxic behavior. A user is considered toxic if they repeatedly make defamatory, threatening, insulting, or otherwise hateful remarks toward other users or staff. Please keep language civil when expressing your opinions. 6. Advertise websites or services unrelated to Identity. We do not sell advertising space on the Identity forums. 7. Cross Post. Cross-posting makes it difficult for users using the search function to find relevant information, and may be considered spam. 8. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. 9. Abuse reports. Reporting content with blank or inaccurate report descriptions will hinder a moderator's capacity to help. Please report content that is in violation of the rules, and not simply because you personally dislike another user. 10. Engage rule violators. You may accidentally violate these rules yourself by responding to others that you feel aren’t following these guidelines. 11. Make low-effort posts. Contribute useful information to the discussion, and avoid going off-topic. 12. Discuss Politics/Religion. These subjects are sensitive and may offend others. (There is a small place for fantasy politics within Identity's ecosystem. The Governor position will be able to tweak small settings within the game world, and must compete against others for power. The political systems within Identity are simplified and do not accurately reflect the processes involved with political discourse in the real world. Players may implicitly take inspiration from existing candidates or parties, but must not show any connections to real world politics through the use of logos/symbols, names (of existing leaders, existing parties, or of those within recent history), or slogans. By affiliating your party with a real world political faction, you are bringing such politics into discussion and grabbing the attention of those who recognize it. Real world politics typically invoke a strong emotional response in some viewers and can lead to vehement conflicts extremely quickly.) 13. Create multiple accounts. Only one account per person is authorized, so forum users can be easily identified. Avoiding a ban may result in further permanent action. 14. Operate a shared account. Sharing an account with another user will make conversation difficult should any of the account operators share a difference in opinion. Conflicting statements will impede our ability to help assist any single user on a shared account. Due to this, we request that each account is operated by a single, separate user. 15. Create forum posts that mention specific users in the title. Creating a new topic with the title specifically mentioning another user isn’t conducive to group discussion, especially if the targeted user isn’t comfortable responding in an open format. (For example, don’t make posts like “@usernamehere, why is x and not y?”) If you’re asking a question directly to another user, please do so using the inbox function on the forums. 16. Post Personal Information, or post links containing personal information. Sharing information about others can be harmful to their real-life. 17. Use forum features in unintended ways. Asking for likes, or making a game that incorporates the like/follow buttons artificially inflates user forum stats, making it difficult for other users to determine which content or user is contributing popular content to the site. 18. Discuss Moderator or Administrator actions Publicly. There are often reasons why a decision is made by a moderator or administrator that may be unclear to outside-parties, and off-topic discussion about an admin or moderator decision may be disruptive to a conversation. We politely ask that you trust and respect decisions made by staff. If you have an issue with a specific staff member, please report the matter to a Community Manager. 19. Impersonate Asylum Entertainment Staff or Moderators. When users seek assistance from moderators or Asylum staff, they shouldn't need to worry about encountering the possibility of dealing with an impostor. Always heed the official titles for staff roles on both the forums and discord to help avoid confusion. 20. Intentionally Spread False Information. Spreading rumors you know are falsified and portraying them as fact will only complicate Identity's development and serves to derail the actual constructive criticism offered by other users. Even accidentally giving out false information can be dangerous, so please ask a staff member or reference official statements (Dev Blogs for example). 21. Post or link to illegal, dangerous, offensive or NSFW content. Do not engage in activities that include (but are not limited to) the sharing of sexually explicit content, piracy, malicious code execution (viruses, malware, spyware etc.), gore. Please keep posts pertaining to the M-rated content in Identity reasonable. 22. Create or operate an account with the intention of solely boosting or supporting another user's reputation, poll votes, or opinions. We ask that all users contribute to the forums in ways that don't simply perpetuate someone else's particular viewpoint or account statistics. ***Moderators and staff have the final say on all matters. If you would like to report moderator abuse, contact a Community Manager directly. Creating public threads or posts that question or reference administrative decisions or potential administrative decisions is not permitted.*** ***Freedom of speech rights do not extend to privately owned websites, such as this one. These guidelines detail the types of behavior and activities that are allowed here.*** ***We reserve the right to deactivate any account and to edit or remove any content without warning.
