3 pointsHello reader, Before giving off my own ideas, I got inspiration off of @Herzog and his idea of a comic con. Please show him some love if you find this a good thing or just want to see this implemented. So, I have an idea that involved large scale events. I was thinking that there could be a feature where you can buy land, and then build on that land. People would be able to build a stage or make a large building that would include things like a Comic-Con or some big social gathering where a lot (and I mean a lot, hundreds, and maybe even thousands) of people will be able to go to that one place and be with people that share those interests on a large scale. For example, I am the manager of a band and I want to hold a concert. I would be able to buy off a piece of land and build a stage and sell tickets for the band. I know this is very ambitious but this could be a big part of the game that would help bring the community together. ~Dickbutt

3 pointsThat's not quite what he meant by that description. In Identity, committing a crime flags you in such a manner that a police officer can charge you with a crime. If you run a red light, you're not immediately charged with the crime; however, if an officer sees you run the red light he can pull you over and will have the ability to charge you with that crime. This mechanic keeps police from being abusive and charging for crimes which you did not commit. That said some major crimes may charge you automatically, but that can be controlled by the server operator/community. This is how it'll be done on the official servers to prevent griefing. There are times where gameplay in a multiplayer environment can't be exactly realistic to maintain it's fun for both parties. More "hardcore" communities may wish to adjust these rules, and they can.

3 pointsAs it stands already, we do have advertising systems for politicians running for office but it's restricted to billboards. I like the idea of advertising on public televisions or cinema, and implementation would be easy, but we'll have to think it over and consider all the angles. So, maybe!

2 pointsHi everyone I'm Kore just made my account here. Not sure what I plan to do in game but I plan to be on the legal side. Would like to join a group thou. I can make a discord server for us if need be. Not really interested in the biggest group in game but maybe a newer group that way there is room to expand. The other game I am waiting for is Star Citizen and on that game I am in a org (125 members) that does transport and I lead one of the departments. I think in a game like this you will ultimately have 3 groups household, friends and coworkers unlike other games. One of my goals in game will be to have a house and if I find more people to join I'd be willing to upgrade my account. By April we should see how this all turns out hopefully sooner.

2 pointsWill it be possible to frame your Criminal and Political Rivals in the game. Also cops that are getting to close or People who are not paying you what you are due. For instance you kill someone. When you know your target is asleep or alone and then plant the gun on them later. Give the police a tip after the deed is done then watch the fun.

2 pointsFirst off my point is that a crime should work how it is in real life if your careful and take your time and are not noticed it should not just be auto detected by the game for the police. It should have to be discovered or witnessed by a real person or a cop. Sorry that realism is a problem for you. and your right they won't stay idle which is why i said i will kill them to remove that problem. Because hostages in game won't act like real ones. Also was why i had a backup plan of letting my own people out to flank the robbers or just have people wait around corner. So thank you for proving my point on why you need to murder all the hostages because they will not sit idle like real ones.

2 pointsAt this time you cannot build custom structures on land. There is land for farming, as well as pre-existing homes and buildings which can be owned and operated, but we don't allow building permanent structures for performance reasons. When you want a lag-free experience with a lot of players, that's something that survival games suffer for. That said, if you want to put on a concert you can rent a concert hall. You'll get the option of choosing the theme for the event which will configure the art of the interior. The concert halls even have a stage which amplifies volume of instruments, as well as microphones for singing or speaking. You can use these for all sorts of things.

1 pointHello all, I am Indoorseeker on this forum and I look forward to interacting with the community here. I believe Identity has a lot of potential and it will be interesting to see how the game creators will implement features and functions of the game. It is my intention of joining the law enforcement career path in the game. I have real life experience in corrections. I am excited so far by what I have seen from the game creators and from the discussions I have read on the forums. Family First, Mission Always. Stay Safe.

1 pointDear haters of this game, I understand that a lot of people have many doubts on this game thinking that it will be a 2nd "No Man's Sky" and it's too ambitious of a project, or simply just impossible, then please reconsider and give this game a chance. Yes there are a lot of expectations in this game and yes it has limitations but this game is striving to become a new genre all in itself. After this game comes out, or even before, you might see big corporations trying to copy this as this has become very popular and very unique. This brings me to my main point. If your trying to say that this game is like those made by major corporations, it's not. It's made by a small team of developers who fantasized about this type of game. Instead of sitting around like the rest of us do and expect a game like this to be handed to us, they took the initiative and MADE this game. Also, we aren't buying "early access" per say. We are giving the developers money to continue working on this game and bring this community something that we all enjoy. Most of us are here because we wanted this type of game to come out and when it did, we all jumped on the great idea and are trying to make it a reality. The people who pledge $30 or more will get beta access, yes. This doesn't mean that they are trying to suck all the money out of us as they can. They simply NEED funding unlike games made by BE or BLIZZARD or Valve, etc. I hope you put this here as a joke. If you meant this in a detrimental way then I think that you need to find a better use of your time. Again, the people of the Identity community love this game and wish for it to be a reality. If we didn't buy "early access" and all the other perks, then there would be no game. Valve can pump out new games for as long as they want without selling early access. They can make games that are F2P and have no micro transactions whatsoever simply because of the fact that they have the funding too and will be bringing in more money than they know what to do with. This being said, Asylum Entertainment has no major funding expect for the people that like the community and the game. I can't speak for everyone, but I think that most people part of the community appreciate what Asylum Entertainment is doing and giving us a game that is 1. Cheap, 2. NOT pay to win, and 3. Something that a lot of people have fantasized about for a long time. You can buy the game and become the most powerful person on the official servers just by playing and being dedicated. I am not 100% on this but I heard that it will cost around $15 USD to buy the full game. There are micro transactions but they are purely cosmetic. This is purely a community based driven game. Almost the whole world is controlled by the people. This is a game created by the people for the people. If you still have doubts in your mind then that's fine, different people have different opinions and you are entitled to yours. I hope that you can at least not spread hate about this game. Thanks for reading and if you agree then leave a like to show the power of the community and to show that you really care about this game! ~Rem P.S: If this can for some reason get pinned, It might help show the haters the power of the people and community!

1 pointSo I had a thought: What if a player is threatened by another player with a gun since the second player is in a Gang or Criminal career, but the first player isn't in a career that would give him/her a weapon to defend themselves. What would happen then, the first player try to take on the armed player with his/her fists? We all know how that would end. Gun Licenses would allow any player to go through a basic training to own a gun to defend themselves. What do you guys think?

1 pointThe mini-map is a GPS on your phone. You'll need to bring up your phone to see it, or have one on your car dashboard while driving. Other players do not appear on the GPS. Cops probably won't be able to identify masked suspects until they catch them, or collect evidence left by them if they are in the detective role. @Zeus

1 pointMost definitely, each hostage could be worth $2000 to $20,000 dollars depending on their role within society. For example, kidnapping a janitor may merely produce a $2000 dollar reward. However, abducting a reputable doctor, judge, teacher, or governor could result in attaining $20,000 to $100,000 dollars. Edit: it would be unfortunate for BOTH the robber and the head of state if the head of state were to be located within the bank during that time period. Enjoy the death sentence for terrorism, hahahahah.
-
1 pointExecuting each and every single hostage is NOT an ethical idea based on the premise that hostages are utilized as a means towards negotiating deals with Law enforcement officers. In the process, one could kidnap a hostage within the get-away vehicle in order to prevent Law enforcement officers from utilizing violent means towards arresting your character. Otherwise, it may result in "civilian casualties".
-
1 pointAlso i never said that someone deserves to be killed in RL for trying to stop a robber. Though it is a somewhat predictable outcome which is why police don't advise ever doing it. I was only stating a very brutal and effective way to rob a bank in a video game. Since the main reason to not commit murder is an ethical one. So it does not apply to video games since instead of loss and sadness you bother someone a little at most. As for any servers with real jail i don't think they will be very popular criminals so the cops won't have anything to do and won't like it either. They will attract trolls like hell since the people who like killing people for no reason love getting a reaction and people who hate getting killed will live there. Which is why i will avoid them since i like to play my character will they be bad? Oh god yes but there will be reason not madness to it.

1 pointJared, if you could private message if it's even possible on the forums I would like to discuss with you about you working in government, potentially within my cabinet. Surffaaja1 as for eduction, gun control and medical care costs, yes I have considered inflation, it's not the ideal solution however like with all governments there is a cost and if I'm providing free healthcare, education, heavy gun Control and low taxes etc then the cost in return may have to be the price of goods going up, however I will not be putting the prices too high, providing everyone is working with the secured jobs and fair wages that I've pledged to secure then the economy should be okay and as i Have said I will contribute to the economy with a donation of my personal cash. I hope this covers any queries or worries you may have but rest assured I aim to be a loyal and dedicated Governor with true, honest intentions

1 pointPersonally I think it'll be a case of if you are elected on server A in England you will have power only in Server A in England BUT if you go to Serve B in America it'll say that you've been president on your Profile so you'd seem to have some experience in the way of running it

1 point7/10.... which is a high rating for a song with a vocal on my standard. I liked the instrumental, the vocal and lyrics were audible. Due to my hearing loss (a deaf ear), I often struggle to hear the lyrics in a song. This song is good. I'm in the minority here, preferring instrumentals due to hearing loss; but, I will start off with one of the very few vocals I like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNaHzwkDOIk My favorite song and rendition. It's my favorite because of the history, the French Revolution, and the reasons and inspiration behind it, including the Enlightenment. I used a orchestra instrumental cover of Viva la Vida in the background of my second to last presentation in high school (a report on the book "The Libertarian Mind" by David Boaz, I still have the Prezi, which is formatted to look like a slideshow since we were required to use Prezi).

1 pointwell Liberal only means "open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values." Libertarian has actually ideological meaning behind it, for instance, this political party would be liberal in Australia, and Conservative in the USA.

1 pointAge 26 Plan to someday own my own company in real life. In the game starcitizen I belong to a transport org and have been promoted to Department head of trading. In the real world I'm a cashier. Not that fancy I know but I been there 4 years. I have not fully decided my online persona for this game but if you're half as good as you say you are in real life maybe I could learn something. I have a friend who is thinking of getting this game as well who is good at coding spreadsheets on google drive he can get them talking to each other like a database and he is 27. So no need to worry about age if you wanted to pick us he is the other person helping me with the studio company. Anyways good luck on your search.

1 pointHello citizens! It's been too long since our last developer blog entry, so I wanted to take the time today to update all of our backers on Identity's current state of development, as well as give a little more insight into the process behind the scenes. During the first year and a bit of development, most of the time was spent developing key backend systems. Networking modifications, weapon physics, character customization, voice communication and so on. That's all behind us now, and I'm happy to say it's gone as well as we could have hoped. Now and for the past couple of months we've moved on to gameplay development, making those backend features do the fun stuff. This Month in Development In this last month our lead character artist, Miroslav, has finished up everything we need for your characters going into the Town Square release. We're always going to be adding more character customizations over time, but to start you'll have the choice between 4 male and 5 female race options. After selecting your base race you can customize further with skin tones, blemishes, scars, eye color, hair styles, hair colors and tweaks to facial features. Identity is expanding on the usual character customization, though, as some of the options available can only be gotten through achievements. Prison tattoos are an example; if you see someone with such a tattoo you know they've done something to earn it. A lot of work this month has also gone into the player housing systems. In following our previous messages, our home customization system has been in place for some months although we've been expanding the floorplans in preperation for the Town Square module release. Sean, or Motown as you may know him, has prepared the various apartments you will have in the Town Square. If you have made a smaller pledge to Identity and do not have an apartment yet, we're going to be giving you access to a temporary (small) home in the Town Square so that you can play with the cusomization features. If you've pledged for a package containing an apartment, Town Square will show what you'll have in the full Identity game upon release. Just this morning our lead programmer, Henrik (AKA Mathalion), finished up the karaoke systems. It's a minor feature for Identity as a whole, but it's going to be loads of fun in the Town Square module! Just off the lobby of the hotel is a slick little bar, complete with a karaoke stage. You'll be able to queue up your favorite songs on the karaoke machine and see the lyrics on one of the monitors around the stage. The microphone on the stage really works, too, amplifying your voice out of the speakers so that your singing can be heard by everyone there! Most of us are terrible singers, so karaoke is going to have a lot of hilarious moments. If you're just there to watch, the restaurant by the stage is fully functional, too! It's Been Too Long I'll just come right out and say it: we at Asylum Entertainment have really had poor PR these last months, and you guys deserve better. You deserve much more frequent updates, and we're committing to give you that moving forward. We're a relatively small development team today. Currently a core staff of 5 incredibly talented full-time developers, I'm amazed every day with what this team can accomplish. Outside of our core we have a handful of part-time workers, mostly artists, who are also very skilled. Because we're a small team, many of us have to wear several hats. For example, Sean is our community manager but also a 3D artist. I myself am the project manager, a programmer and interface developer. This leads to few resources to dedicate towards PR as there's so much work to be done on the game itself. This is something we knew though, and we're going to set some time aside regularly to keep you in the loop. The Town Square module is coming soon. We're in the final months of 2016 now, and you'll finally be inside the first piece of the Identity world in the first quarter of 2017. It's a little later than we originally hoped since we're dedicated to making sure everything is smooth and stable from the first moments. Identity is an enormous undertaking, but the most difficult bits are behind us and we're drawing near! What to Expect The first stage of game development is always very boring to talk about, and also doesn't give us much to show you. Creating those backend systems that drive the game behind the scenes is one of the most important phases, but it's not very glamorous. It's for this reason that most games aren't announced until they're a couple years into development. Now that we're past that point, we're going to be able to start showing you real Identity gameplay. The first gameplay video you'll see is going to be in November and will show you just how detailed and in-depth Identity is becomming! You'll see a walkthrough of our housing system, showing just how far it can be customized and some of the cool fun features you'll find in there. Following that video we'll give you a glimpse of the Town Square features, leading up to its release. It's been a ton of work and a long time coming, but we're moving forward at a great pace and everything is about to get very exciting over here.

1 pointWell I'm not being rude I'm just telling it like it is. If you don't want to participate in the pre business thing then don't. But the smart ones who want to start a business will already have somewhat of an idea of where to start. I have a dealership business and i'v spoken to admins and developers about it and I have a pretty good idea of where and how my business stands. At the end of the day your post was unnecessary. Stop ruining people's creativity and being negative. You have posted this 3 times and is annoying. Nobody cares and we aren't going to stop. If you don't like it there's a log out button if you need it. Again not being rude just my "two cents"
