It'd be cool if you could indulge in dif. activities in jail instead of having to sit there doing nothing the entire time (like how Arma life jails are ). If you could establish a fighting career in jail (through an underground illegal fight club like Mafia 2/Luke Cage had), have a better cell if you had a powerful position prior to being jailed, work out in the recreational yard, have corrupt correctional officers (through RP), have the ability to pay bail, shank rival gang members in the cafeteria, etc. then that'd be amazing. You should also be able to make money (maybe through fighting, trade) or even establish a reputation for your character to set yourself up for when you are released (if you wanted to join a gang, form a group, get jail connections, etc.) You should also be allowed to leave whenever you want (of course after serving your min. jail term depending on the crime). When you are ready to leave and you've served the min. amount of time, you could request to "modify your sentence" and ask the judge to be released early (just to follow RP), ultimately allowing your release. Anyways, just an idea, if you'd like to build off/take some pieces from it go right ahead. Maybe busting yourself out and living as a fugitive could be an option? (with the help of friends. etc.) Overall the game looks great! Keep up the good work dev team, can't wait to play it.

After you server your sentence you can choose to stay longer!!!! (confirmed by a developer) Ok, so there will be a lot of different activities in the jail you can do and its already been stated by the developers "it is like a whole new game in prison"

Who we are We are a group of people who buy and loan. We mainly loan people money with slight interest on top. Ok first of all hellot i just discovered the comunity and the game but i have a pretty important question for wich maybe you guys know the answer but i don't you see i've been waiting for this game for years.. it is all i want but i have tried in many other games to roleplay but you always get trolled, there is always some people that just want to annoy other people because they feel about doing that there are many exapmples like police who don't roleplay well (too much abuse etc) or just a new player that gets a gun and kills people for fun... etc my point is that i like to roleplay but sometimes troll dont let us do it so is there some kind of punishment o something for people who arent doing things well and just making other players life harder? idk if i explained myself well enough but i just a vague question i had

It is inevitable. No matter how much we complain and no matter how many restrictions they put in place, we need to come to the realisation that children (immature ones in particular) are going to get their hands on this game. Kids who treat this game like GTA or COD. It is going to happen no matter what precautions we take. I would like to discuss possible ways that we, as a community can come together and instead of prevention, we need to decide how to deal with the issues. I recommend that we act mature. If a kid is mass RDMing, don't kick and scream, don't act like a kid in OOC, just ignore them. I know it will be hard, but it is the only way we can discourage kids from playing like that. Kids are apart of the community, and while we would all rather not have them here, its not something we can control. If a kid is RDMing, run and hide and quietly report it on the forums. Act like you arent even annoyed, like you just want to report it incase it happens again. They commit these actions for an equal and opposite reaction, we dont want to give them the reactions that entice them to commit the atupid actions. Can we as a community agree to treat these situations calmly? Let me know your thoughts below.

I personally would have 1 week max jail time as it brings more role play and will cause people to think about their actions.

Liam M. Johnson Liam M. Johnson, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Previous member of the US Army, now got roots deep in the crime world. At age 6, Liam's dad was shot in downtown Chicago due to his racist beliefs, which he fortunately never got to pass on to Liam. Liam grew up with his lone mother on welfare, in a terrible neighbourhood of downtown Chicago. At age 17, Liam joined the Army. He didn't have a lot of reason to live at home, nor money to live for. After having been in the army for 10 years, Liam returns home to Chicago. He's earned his fair share of money, but saw no reason to stay. He was tired of the endless amount of training, tired of seeing his friends drop out, or die at worst. Liam was tired of it all. He tried getting in contact with his mother again, which he unfortunately lost contact to after he joined the army, but with no luck. He was all on his own. He jumped from minimum-wage job to minimum-wage job, he was once again, tired. After spending nights at the local bar, drinking away his money in cheap booze, he saw something special. Outside the pub, 2 men quickly drove up to a bystander on the street, stopped for a quick second, handed something in a small bag in exchange for money. In a matter of seconds they were gone again, and Liam was left to wonder. He had overlooked a drug deal. And he was interested. After Liams time in the army, he had a good knowledge of the drug community, due to some fellow people in the army knowing some people from the drug community. Liam saw it as an opportunity to try something new. To get something out of his life. A few weeks pass and Liam is involved in crime. However, Liam didn't get in to sell or manufactor drugs, he also didn't get in to control the drug market. Liam joined because he knew what his abilities were. Liam was a cold hearted killer, and great with a gun. However, he wasn't stupid. He wasn't interested in becoming one of their "Tough guys" that is just used to protect their turf. Liam was going to work at the top. He was going to do the work, that required brain, he was going to work with the boss. Time flies by, and Liam is the person you call if you need something done. Need to know where someone lives, need to know what is being said about you, or do you need someone killed, with no evidence to trace at all? Then Liam was your guy. Liam did the dirty work for the boss, without him nor the boss getting caught, ever. Liam didn't care about the other cartels, he was loyal. But he came at a price. Fail to meet that price, and he wouldn't think twice about putting a bullet trough your head. For that reason, Liam is now looking for a new job. However, he's not willing to work at street level, as some nutjob "Tough Guy" Liam's more than that. And if you need someone like Liam, who's willing to do jobs that are insane, boring, inhumane or anything like it, and you're willing to pay the price, you're will never need another again.

*Rosso checks his phone while he watches the three truck leave the driveway of the hanger. He puts his phone back into his pocket, grabs his keys, and gets into his car. He reaches over and places his coat on the passengers seat before starting the car and begins leaving the hanger.* "Jesus, its really coming down. I can barely see" *whispers to himself* *Rosso reaches over to turn the windshield wipers on but before he can, out of the corner of his eye he sees a man come into view in front of his vehicle. He hits on his brakes and comes to a skidding halt. Looking up he sees a man in nothing but a tee and jeans. Rosso lets down his window and calls out to the man* "Hey, what the hell are you doing out here. Its almost ten, its like forty outside and it's pouring... go home!" *Rosso lets up the window, waits for the man to pass by, and then gently eases out of the shipyard entrance and starts to head home* ((Next day, since everyone seems to be on the next day)) *Rosso wakes up and rolls over to check the time.* "Eight forty four, hmm" *He walks over to the edge of the bedroom and steps out onto the balcony and takes a deep breathe in before leaning over and resting both arms on the railing. Down on his pajama pants he feels a little tug and looks down to see his pup playing tug-of-war with his pants leg.* "Hey hey hey, why you got to be so destructive? Its to early to be restless." *He smiles and picks the little pup up* "Jeez your getting too big for this, lets go get a bite" *Rosso puts the pup down on his bed and goes into the bathroom to changes into dark blue jeans and a white collared polo. He comes out and gabs his phone, wallet, glasses and then snaps his fingers to signal the pup to follow. He gets downstairs into the garage and walk over to a table with a wooden bowl full of car keys. Looking down at the pup and sighs* "Alright its your turn" *He picks up the pup and sets it on the table next to the bowl of keys. The pup goes face first into the bowl and pulls out Ferrari keys in its jaws. Rosso puts out his hand and the pup puts the keys in his hand* "The 488 huh? You just like the convertible top." *He grabs the pup and walks over to the white 488 Spyder and sets the pup in the passenger seat. He starts the car, opens the garage and gate, and takes off down the road towards the diner.*

I'm an etsablished DJ in real life and like this idea, especially if the radios in the demo video show that they stream online radio however I'm not sure if I'm going to bring my real world talent into the game or RP something different. I'll likely do a bit of both.

Idea - JOB ARTICLES I Think it would be cool if someone looking for a job could go to a building which contains articles for jobs around the area. These articles could be placed by business owners looking for new employees or the game could generate jobs every once in a while. This would allow People to easily spread news that they are looking for an employee. They could also have specific needs on that CV where people would be rejected if they did not have them (e.g Driving licence, Experience) You could also have it where multiple people could give in submissions and the owner of the business could pick the person that they feel would be good for their job (they may be able to organise interviews). I feel like they could also add Training where a specific person would need a certain training licence on their 'CV' to do that job. The Employer would need to pay a fee to put it on the article so it would be a fair system. This would help the employer , looking for people, the employee, finding that job. It could also open up illegal activities like CV forgery so they could get that job or people could hire an employee and take them hostage. This is just an idea, if anyone has any other improvements please let me know. - JT

My opinion is that if somebody is pissing about on a role play server with no intention to stop within say a few minutes, they should just be insta banned. The people who want to roleplay will keep roleplaying, the ones who mess about clearly aren't that bothered about roleplay full stop.

If the game comes out we will make a contract of you as employee of our company. what generally is in the contract is your salary, how much hours you must work in game and the Terms of Service. I think it would be really cool if you could become a Bagel Shop owner and hire people to make and sell bagels for you in the Bagel shop.

Sit down for a minute and consider the complexities of running/owning a server for Identity. We're talking about putting into place all the systems you'd need for a fully functioning US State IF (note the big if there) you want to take advantage of everything this game will offer. So a political system, all your emergency services.... Fire, Medical & Police, a functioning judicial system, prison service etc etc.....think about it, it's mind boggling. The scope for this game is enormous, huge, beyond anything we've seen to date. Or....you can rent a server and let people run around shooting each other. I know which one I'm aiming for.

I think a huge way of making sure the consequences are harsh are making sure they stay with you. If you commit a crime, that would be on your record and companies hiring you might see that. You wouldn't want that to stay with you. If you repeat a crime after punishment, your punishment should be worse than before.
