4 pointsMoe's Diner, on the corner of 6th and DuPont Ave. Ol' Moe opened this place with brother, way back when this neighborhood was strictly "Italian-Only". That was a long time ago, back when the Mob owned these blocks. They've since cleared out, now we mostly cater to bikers off the interstate, some Yakuza thugs occasionally frequent the place, they run the docks two blocks over. Moe is an old man now, he mostly sleeps in his one bedroom upstairs, so it's up to the girls to handle most of the work. Gus is the cook, he's Moe's grandson. He's a pervy kid, not more than 18 really. Always oggling us while we work, but hey, at least we don't have to cook. I've been here almost a year and I'm already the closing girl. It's a good gig, gives me money for my "hobbies,". My name's Pam, if you don't see me here, I'm out being bad. Mary's usually here in the mornings with Lacey, and Starla and Darienne work with me, although they're usually just gossiping or flirting, little tramps those two. Leah's the new girl, she's a sweetie, don't know how she ended up in this neighborhood. We don't really have a manager per se, although there's Dennis, he's a piece of work. He's the son of an old friend of Moe's, after Moe's brother got shot by a gangbanger this guy, Ed I think, he was there. So now Dennis is the "manager," although he never shows up, only to steal food, harass us, and try to sleep with us on the regular. He's a coke fiend, usually reeks of sweat, and has some two-bit hooker on his arm when he comes in. And then there's his "friends," big scary tatted-up guys, coming in here looking for him and the money he owes them. That's always fun. Anyway, the coffee is always fresh here, and we make a mean breakfast platter here. The burger's are pretty good here too, and my pies are to die for. Don't order the french toast, that egg wash is not fresh, trust me. Also, the jukebox usually doesn't work, give it a kick or two and you're golden. And don't you think about trying to case the joint, I got a .45 glock under the register, and honey I know how to use it! Moe's Diner Hours: 5:00am-11:00pm Breakfast, All day Eggs: $1 per egg, limit is 3 Waffles: $2 for 2, $5 for a stack Toast: 50 cents French Toast: $3 Eggs in a basket: $5 Bacon: $1.50 Coffee: $1 with refills Breakfast Sausage: $3 Chicken and Waffles: $6 Breakfast Special: Comes with 3 eggs, bacon, toast, breakfast sausage. $8 Lunch, All day Hamburger: $5 Cheeseburger: $6, add a fried egg/chili for $1 each French Fries: $3 Chili Fries: $4 Chili Cheese Fries: $5 Meatball Sub: $6 Cold Sandwich: Options include Ham, Prosciutto, Salami, Pepperoni, Capicola, Roast Beef, Turkey, Mozzarella, Monterrey Jack, American, Swiss, Banana Peppers, Pickles, Spicy Relish, Mustard, Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, $4, $5 on a ciabatta bun, 50 cents for each extra meat Chili: $3 Grits: $2 Fried Chicken: $8 a bucket Dinner*, 5pm or later Spaghetti: $5 Ravioli: $6 Chicken Parmesan: $8 Chimichanga: $6 Pastelitos per carne: $3 per pastry Gnocchi: $4 Chili con carne: $6 *Dinner may not be served on that particular day Drinks: We serve alcohol after 11am Full bar opens at 3pm Soda: $1.50 Tea: $2 Beer: Bottled $3 Wine: Only at dinner, $5 a glass Mixed Drinks: $7 for house, $9 for top shelf

3 pointsOver the past year or so I've been on this forum, I've seen so many people interested in bikes, biker culture ect that you see with a lot of games but sadly with a lot of games, developers don't seem to focus as much on the bike side (more seen focusing on fast expensive cars) that also have their appeal and maybe even the majority of people prefer those but I'm speaking for those of us who would much rather have a bike over a car in the game. I'm making this to try help show the developers that there are many people who would love more bike options in the game because I am worried that this game will leave those people behind and I'd like to have everyone show the types of bikes they would like to see instead of what people think we want (usually looking like cheap Japanese looking bikes that you see in real life) I genuinely think that the gta v biker dlc added some actual nice looking bikes compared to the ones in it before that can be made to look pretty bad ass and I'd love to see that standard in identity. so post your dream bikes, no matter what style! (gta v zombie bobber)

3 pointsYesterday afternoon, for another Identity Insider, we've released a video detailing the workings of player housing in Identity and what it has to offer at our present point in development. This gives you a good idea of the level of fidelity we're going for in all of our key systems, and more videos will follow as we continue. Housing was chosen for our first video as our initial focus in development is for features present in the upcoming Town Square module. If you haven't already seen the video, check it out above. Housing as you've seen in the video is an excellent place to hang out with friends, but it has a lot of good practical uses, too! First, housing is the primary storage location for items you've collected. Whether it's a bookshelf full of books, a gun-rack with wall-mounted guns, or a crate full of junk, it's sort of like a bank for tangible stuff. Housing is also valuable for moderate crafting, too. Some advanced recipes might require a factory, but a lot of stuff can be created at your home using special crafting tables. A hydroponics table can even be used to grow small-scale plants, legal or otherwise!

2 pointsAm I the only guy that has the main goal of getting so fucking rich you don't know what to do with it, illegal or not, but your only goal is to get shit blasted with cash. this is how I motivate myself I real life so I'm transferring it into the game, just wanted to see if anyone else thought the same.

2 pointsWell Stronzo the gonzo, let me tell you something. If you think you're gunna run your homosexual stripclub free of mafia yet ridden with jizz and aids you are wrong. You see, it's my job to make your life a living hell if you don't cooperate. I will do everything in my power to rape and bring down your club to its knees. I'll burn it, shoot it up, kill customers, whatever my sick imagination can think of. And if you do find horseshoes up your ass and manage to kill me, I'll just come back and fuck you again. So, what I suggest, is that you cooperate, or have a fun time living on the roller coaster of stress and frustration.

2 pointsWithout actual proof, this too is heresay, opinion, and Hollywood folklore. I have presented proof regarding the FBI's assessment of MS-13, and the fact they have a specific task force specially designed for MS-13. The FBI claims they are a proniment threat to society, but there is no proof regarding your statement above. They may control some, but it is very unlikely with all the other competition now within the underground market of North America, or that they hold the alpha position of all organized crinimal activity.

2 pointsIt would be awesome if we could literally make our own motorcycle manufacturing brands. More then what GTA has offered us.
-
2 pointsIts not the closest thing really, as its a mix more between Arma 3 Altis Life and gmod's gamemode PERP. GTA has similarities though.
-
2 pointsI would love a lot of customization options and plenty of bike variations. My dream would be classic custom panhead or bobber. I would love to have both in Identity.
-
2 pointsAs i said before, they are not known by the police or public. They are rooted in society masked as regular people. There could be 1000's of more hits on that list that weren't classified hits by the police department because they cant find who did it and they cant see if it was mob affiliated. I bet you a lot of the mob hits are marked down as homicides with no known motive.
-
2 pointsI Know they've said they're not releasing identity on Console but they definitely should. I'm only making this post so the developers might see. Please give us console players this wonderful game I'll buy the biggest copy of the game if it came out on Console. This is a game next gen consoles need! You could do the preview program on xbox one it's pretty much for beta games, people pay for it then is goes full game and it gets achievements and all the final touches. Please Asylum, think of us console gamers.
-
2 pointsHere's a list of all recent US mob hits / disappearances. There's probably a few not included here, but for the most part they've stopped the practice of killing each other.
-
2 points@Frank we seem to be arguing technicalities because of the FBI's definitions. The FBI still define MS-13 as a gang even tho they also admit to them being a mafia. I do apologize. The FBI does consider them one of the most prominent organizations in the criminal world. They do list others that they see as prominent now too tho. That is the beauty of Identity tho, the mafia can make their own infamy, same with the Yakuza, MCs, gangs or any organized criminal empire.
-
2 pointsYes. The MS-13 is the most dangerous gang in america. They consider everybody who appose them their enemies The Yamaguchi-Gumi, the Yakuzas largest gang is the world largest criminal organization with over 23,000 members. They also hold the most wealthiest gangsters on the planet. Nobody will ever top classic Italian crime families. Men will always fail to re create in the future the traditional La Cosa Nostra. Gangs today are not like they were. That is why I like the Inagawa-Kai, they are old school and will always be in the ways of tradition.
-
2 points@Frank at on time that was true. MS-13 is the most notorious and dangerous criminal organization to the FBI today. With that being said there is no replacing Cosa Nostra. It is part of American history and culture, which cannot be replaced. Unfortunately it just isn't what it used to be. Also Hells Angels is the 5th most notorious gangs in North America, Italian Mafia doesn't even make top 10 anymore due to Mexican mafia and gangs, motorcycle clubs, and aryan and supremacy groups now hold the top 10.

2 pointsHello citizens! It's been too long since our last developer blog entry, so I wanted to take the time today to update all of our backers on Identity's current state of development, as well as give a little more insight into the process behind the scenes. During the first year and a bit of development, most of the time was spent developing key backend systems. Networking modifications, weapon physics, character customization, voice communication and so on. That's all behind us now, and I'm happy to say it's gone as well as we could have hoped. Now and for the past couple of months we've moved on to gameplay development, making those backend features do the fun stuff. This Month in Development In this last month our lead character artist, Miroslav, has finished up everything we need for your characters going into the Town Square release. We're always going to be adding more character customizations over time, but to start you'll have the choice between 4 male and 5 female race options. After selecting your base race you can customize further with skin tones, blemishes, scars, eye color, hair styles, hair colors and tweaks to facial features. Identity is expanding on the usual character customization, though, as some of the options available can only be gotten through achievements. Prison tattoos are an example; if you see someone with such a tattoo you know they've done something to earn it. A lot of work this month has also gone into the player housing systems. In following our previous messages, our home customization system has been in place for some months although we've been expanding the floorplans in preperation for the Town Square module release. Sean, or Motown as you may know him, has prepared the various apartments you will have in the Town Square. If you have made a smaller pledge to Identity and do not have an apartment yet, we're going to be giving you access to a temporary (small) home in the Town Square so that you can play with the cusomization features. If you've pledged for a package containing an apartment, Town Square will show what you'll have in the full Identity game upon release. Just this morning our lead programmer, Henrik (AKA Mathalion), finished up the karaoke systems. It's a minor feature for Identity as a whole, but it's going to be loads of fun in the Town Square module! Just off the lobby of the hotel is a slick little bar, complete with a karaoke stage. You'll be able to queue up your favorite songs on the karaoke machine and see the lyrics on one of the monitors around the stage. The microphone on the stage really works, too, amplifying your voice out of the speakers so that your singing can be heard by everyone there! Most of us are terrible singers, so karaoke is going to have a lot of hilarious moments. If you're just there to watch, the restaurant by the stage is fully functional, too! It's Been Too Long I'll just come right out and say it: we at Asylum Entertainment have really had poor PR these last months, and you guys deserve better. You deserve much more frequent updates, and we're committing to give you that moving forward. We're a relatively small development team today. Currently a core staff of 5 incredibly talented full-time developers, I'm amazed every day with what this team can accomplish. Outside of our core we have a handful of part-time workers, mostly artists, who are also very skilled. Because we're a small team, many of us have to wear several hats. For example, Sean is our community manager but also a 3D artist. I myself am the project manager, a programmer and interface developer. This leads to few resources to dedicate towards PR as there's so much work to be done on the game itself. This is something we knew though, and we're going to set some time aside regularly to keep you in the loop. The Town Square module is coming soon. We're in the final months of 2016 now, and you'll finally be inside the first piece of the Identity world in the first quarter of 2017. It's a little later than we originally hoped since we're dedicated to making sure everything is smooth and stable from the first moments. Identity is an enormous undertaking, but the most difficult bits are behind us and we're drawing near! What to Expect The first stage of game development is always very boring to talk about, and also doesn't give us much to show you. Creating those backend systems that drive the game behind the scenes is one of the most important phases, but it's not very glamorous. It's for this reason that most games aren't announced until they're a couple years into development. Now that we're past that point, we're going to be able to start showing you real Identity gameplay. The first gameplay video you'll see is going to be in November and will show you just how detailed and in-depth Identity is becomming! You'll see a walkthrough of our housing system, showing just how far it can be customized and some of the cool fun features you'll find in there. Following that video we'll give you a glimpse of the Town Square features, leading up to its release. It's been a ton of work and a long time coming, but we're moving forward at a great pace and everything is about to get very exciting over here.

1 pointA modernised compilation of 'The Works of the Golden Saint' along with notes from the current Golden Guardian WE FIGHT FOR FREEDOM IF YOU HAVE FURTHER QUESTIONS, PLEASE COMMENT BELOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING, VISIT OUR WEBSITE http://thegoldensaint.tk/ The Creed Accensa domo proximi, tua quoque periclitatur, Protegat nos fratres per sanguinem. Translation When the house of your neighbour is in flames, your own is in danger, We protect our brothers in blood. We turn away from greed and selfishness. I was what you are, you will be what I am. Mourning is freedom, There is a certain pleasure in weeping, therefore, we look to free you of your wound. Those who are about to die salute you, they condemn what they do not understand but deep down we know, we are dust and shadow, time is the devourer of all, and, he conquers who conquers himself. A breakdown of the Creed When the house of your neighbour is in flames, your own is in danger, This line shows the importance of caring for your fellow brothers and sisters. In this tight community, their problems may become your own. We protect our brothers in blood. All in our community are tied together through blood and deserve our protection and devotion, no matter their importance within the Brotherhood. We turn away from greed and selfishness. These are the two most cancerous sins that lead you in the wrong direction. By turning away from these, a new path of freedom is opened. I was what you are, you will be what I am. All outside of our community are consumed by the troubles of the world for they have not yet discovered the salvation of the Golden Saint. We hope they will soon see. Mourning is freedom, There is a certain pleasure in weeping, By weeping for your sins, you wash them away. Through this, your path is cleared. therefore, we look to free you of your wound. The burden of sin is like a serious wound, it won't heal properly unless you take care of it. Those who are about to die salute you, they condemn what they do not understand Those who are about to die believe they are moving on but they do not understand that their grievances follow them into the afterlife. but deep down we know, we are dust and shadow, We came from dust and will return to shadow. We were created of the ground and we won't be present when we pass. time is the devourer of all, and, No man or beast can escape the teeth of time. You may run but sooner or later, you will trip and fall. he conquers who conquers himself. By freeing yourself from your subconscious limitations, you unlock extended power and knowledge which conquers the untrained mind. Who is the writer of this? The identity of the writer of the Creed of the Brotherhood of the Golden Saint is unknown. The only clue to his identity is this painting which is just an estimate of what he would've looked like. We believe that this is to our benefit. Not having a concrete identity to worship eliminates discrimination against fellow brothers and sisters. Although it is very likely the Golden Saint was white, male, rich and Christian, we still allow people of all gender, colour, nation and class into our Brotherhood. Why do we follow the Golden Saint? We do not follow the Golden Saint. We follow his beliefs. His beliefs represent freedom through the full utilisation of our brains. No, this is not the 'we only use 10% of our brain and unlocking the rest would give us mystical powers' malarkey. This is about removing the boundaries placed upon our minds by society and seeing past the barriers. Although this won't give you psychic or flying abilities, it will unleash the ability to further your knowledge and life. We also believe in making the most of your time here on earth by turning away from the two main sins, greed and selfishness but we also realise most that what we acquire here on Earth is materialistic. We do not believe murder, theft, lying, etc. are sins unless they stem from greed or selfishness. So are you just a bunch of peaceful 'brain unlocking' people? No. Do not underestimate our power. Due to centuries of growing and development, we have slowly tapped into governments and corporations across the world. We appear to those who chose it, whether that be directly or indirectly. We have woven ourselves into society and are hidden whilst in the most obvious places. People such as Neville Chamberlain, Alexander Fleming and Eric Arthur Blair, aka George Orwell, have been great contributors to our Brotherhood, although not all formally announced they were part of it. Through people like this, we have infiltrated even the most guarded corners of society. As I have mentioned, we do not believe murder, theft, lying, etc. are sins. These are beautiful tools that can be used to further our development. Our goal is freeing the world. We will do this in whatever way necessary. If you want to 'free the world in any way necessary', doesn't that mean you are greedy for that vision? Absolutely not. We are pushing for freedom for all, not just a select few for their benefit. The vision we have is for the benefit of everyone in our world. We are also in no rush to achieve that goal although doing it as fast as we can is preferable. Our Goal Our goal is to open the eyes of the deluded, uplift the humble and meek and bring justice to a world plagued by greed, selfishness and corruption. We want to take over society and flip it on its head for the betterment of society. We plan to do this by infiltrating the political system, major businesses and gangs/mafias/MCs. We operate similarly to a mafia but, unlike the mafia, we do what we do to achieve a specific goal. What do I receive? This varies depending on your role within the community. There are, however, several things that are guaranteed for all employees: • A wage with a minimum of (TBC) per month. • All job-related healthcare paid for. • Appropriate equipment provided free of charge. • Ample opportunities for bonuses and promotions. 1 pointAs per a conversation on the Ideas & Suggestions forum, I thought its about time someone shares some good old love. The Devs for this game are some of the most amazing Devs in any game to date, they are so nice to their audience who pay for a product they like and actually listen to what people want, and due to this have made an amazing community of people who are there for each-other and help each-other. I would like to say on behalf of the Identity Community. We love you! and thank you for making such an amazing community and no doubt an amazing game! Lets get this hashtag remember forever. #Hugs4TheIdentityRPGDevs

1 pointI would like to see a Honda magna Bobber, But also be able to customise each bike extensively.
-
1 pointi do hope there's a lot of customization but im worried this game wont focus on bikes customizations like most games don't. the main thing id ask for would be just to be able to change or remove fenders, change oil tank and to be able to change the exhausts, aswell as to have single seats aswell as the 2 seats most games seem to stick to. aswell as being able to change the colour of pretty much every part. can only hope they add that amount or more but unfortunately not many games have much focus on the bikes at all and we're left to deal with what we got when even being able to take parts off that aren't important could drastically change the look and feel of the bike.
-
1 pointi was more talking about gta's engine type and online, with the more graphical similarities than games like arma ect (atleast i hope the graphics are up to that standard but not something that'd bother me otherwise). i get there's other games and mods a lot more similar but those didn't seem relevant because of the photos i had posted.

1 pointI'll be perfectly honest here, I do not think that the large majority of people really understand what Identity is, or could, be. Just a quick browse through these forums makes it clear that most people are expecting Altis Life 2, or GTA Online with an economy, look at the youtube comments and it's even worse. The concept of a 'life' mmo seems to be totally lost on a lot of people. The concept, to me anyway, is clear. As soon as possible we will get our own server, we want to create a living, breathing community, but even we understand that this is going to have it's limitations, it's not real life after all. Someone driving down the road mowing people down IS going to ruin the immersion aspect for many people, does that happen in real life? well yes obviously, but the simple fact is that the majority of people can go through their entire lives without ever seeing such an event. The key to Identity, for us, is going to be players who want to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Everyone will serve the community, everyone will have their part to play, killers, thieves, cops, doctors, everyone. But note the key phrase 'serve the community'.....the game is not even out yet and I've seen people loose their shit on these forums over being the 'baddest' or the 'biggest' and that says to me that it's all about them and NOT about a persona created for a game, and that's self serving. We'll need people who are willing to loose, we'll need people who are willing to let their chars' die. Consequences are going to be vital to the success of Identity. The simple truth is that a lot of pvp is not really about winning, it's about beating someone down, and before we get into an argument about that let's make something clear, I've played one of the most brutal and unforgiving pvp games there is, World War Two Online & it has a fantastic community.......because the players are there to play a game & NOT beat someone down, compare that to toxic communities like Call of Duty or GTA Online or The Division.....enough said. Asylum will give us the tools, what each one of us do with those tools will, no doubt, be totally different. Personally I don't see the point in doing something here that can be done better in GTA Online.....or done better in The Division (and yes I play both) this is Identity. Clearly some players just want the freedom to do what ever they want, well good for them, but they won't be bothering the folks on our server. People will die, people will be drug addicts, people will commit crimes.....but people will save lives & build businesses & families, and they'll have the option to live out mundane lives if they want....WITHOUT being run down by some fool who gets off on making other players miserable. I'm a huge fan of what Asylum are doing, but I know, from experience, that ultimately it's the players will make the difference here. If Identity can attract all those niche players who hate what GTA Online is, then it'll succeed, if not then it'll fail.

1 pointOf course there are hits that go undocumented, but you're seriously underestimating the amount of knowledge law enforcement has on these guys. I highly doubt the numbers would even break into the hundreds. If a guy is connected, I guarantee you the FBI most likely know about it. There's very few connected guys that aren't on their radars.

Translated into English it means “this thing of ours.” It is a nationwide alliance of criminals—linked by blood ties or through conspiracy—dedicated to pursuing crime and protecting its members. 1 pointI think there will be text chat. No one is forcing you to use a mic and although it will decrease the immersion of your gameplay not all RP games are spoken with the voice. Ive been in an Elder Scrolls Online RP guild for about 2 years now and we just type. Its a lot easier to type out your characters voice than try to mask it yourself. *Herzog raises his pipe from his mouth before yelling* "Jolly good show old chap!" Just an example. Hope this helps

While I have had my doubts and been inactive for sometime now i am back with new love for the devs since they showed us the first real gameplay. The game is looking great. Can´t wait to play and live in this world of ours with those I´ve talked to on these forums since it opened. The friends I´ve made here, the troubles @Kickapoo has gotten himself into and required my help, and the sneaky detective of Misneden Security (now discontinued) @Norway174. Not to mention my first interactions here was with @FlyingDuck who I have talked loads with. The old guard is to numerous to mention, the times I´ve enjoy to many to count. Big shoutout to @Arlmar @Katie @Vix and so many others. While we all been here the devs have been very active, been apart of discussions, answered questions and deleted cancerous threads while being friendly to the community #Hugs4TheIdentityRPGDevs #Hugs2TheIdentityCommunity and #Hugs4me

1 pointI'd like to apologize in advance for what comes next: You my friend are a moron, Identity is an MMO ....one more time just so you can't claim you missed it.....Identity is an MMO......okay are we clear on that now? The average mmo can take anywhere between three to five years to develop, so the fact that you are seeing footage in a year AND taking into account that Asylum only have nine people working on it full time, is actually pretty amazing. Try doing some simple research before posting maybe? Now granted, Identity will not need much voice acting, it will also not need the traditional quests either, so some time will be saved there. But take into account the systems like jobs & careers etc, I'd imagine anyone who expects to see this hit launch before 2018 is going to be disappointed. Now try to remember Fataldutch........NOT a single player game right? it's an mmo.

1 pointComplaining about the game and crudely insulting anybody who is complaining are both equally annoying.
