8 pointsYesterday afternoon, for another Identity Insider, we've released a video detailing the workings of player housing in Identity and what it has to offer at our present point in development. This gives you a good idea of the level of fidelity we're going for in all of our key systems, and more videos will follow as we continue. Housing was chosen for our first video as our initial focus in development is for features present in the upcoming Town Square module. If you haven't already seen the video, check it out above. Housing as you've seen in the video is an excellent place to hang out with friends, but it has a lot of good practical uses, too! First, housing is the primary storage location for items you've collected. Whether it's a bookshelf full of books, a gun-rack with wall-mounted guns, or a crate full of junk, it's sort of like a bank for tangible stuff. Housing is also valuable for moderate crafting, too. Some advanced recipes might require a factory, but a lot of stuff can be created at your home using special crafting tables. A hydroponics table can even be used to grow small-scale plants, legal or otherwise!

6 pointsYou don't need to wait for anything. Leave the forums so us people who care about the game can enjoy the new footage.
-
5 pointsDon't agree with him if you agreed with me in pm about what I said because they are the opposite of each other. (pm: The Video) yeah.. that conversation. Ok firstly, the kickstarter video was the video of when this project was as a concept and not actually in full development as they were just selling the concept to us. Secondly games are never normally announced before being atleast 2 years in development when they give a trailer. This trailer is a teaser as such to the game itself and should not be seen as a full on trailer other than to one big feature to the game. Everyone who has been waiting knew in some way the first video they would release was purely on the housing customisation features only, as it was to show the full potential on that feature/ area. I would not expect a big "trailer" like you want to be before the 2 year development mark and I think a lot of the players waiting for the game would clearly agree on that.

4 pointsText chat will be available to you in Identity! There will be local chat, as well as private messaging. We acknowledge that the convenience of voice chat isn't always what people want in every situation. Whether you are shy, or you want to pretend to be someone else, or even if someone in your proximity is trying to sleep, we don't want to suppress your ability to get a message across, but we do think that those who want and will use voice chat, will inherently have an enhanced experience in Identity.

3 pointsHey there everyone, I'm a huge fan of RPG's like Fallout and Skyrim and I've been a dedicated fan of SA:MP and the Sims for years now. As far as real life stuff goes, I'm pretty normal. Just a small town kid with big dreams of being a writer. - I'm also a graphic designer and have worked on a lot of art and gfx for people. I'm really looking forward to seeing this game and community grow and I hope you all will accept me with open arms. - Me and a few of my friends will be pledging and registering soon as we hope to have a lot of fun in this game and community. Best wishes. - Prescott
-
3 pointsWas a little hesitant to buy my pledge package and then i saw this today and i was just like "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!"
-
2 pointsI am Jeremy Sirata my family is from Sicily my father was killed by an unknown mafia family from Chicago and my mother was mugged and killed leaving me to survive on the streets of New York I became a small time criminal and now at the age of 22 I pledge my alegence to the Luprano Family
-
2 pointsThis is very nice. I'm not sure if the topic creator understand the amount of work and detail that was put into this. I'm impressed and looking forward to more!
-
2 pointsI've seen the most recent video and I'm excited for interior decorating. I, however, dislike the idea of drag and move when placing large items like beds and stuff as they're not even. Either a snap to grid or a rotate by 80 degrees would be nice.
-
2 pointsIt's more realistic without grids, but I guess some people with OCD will need it
-
2 pointsI'd like to apologize in advance for what comes next: You my friend are a moron, Identity is an MMO ....one more time just so you can't claim you missed it.....Identity is an MMO......okay are we clear on that now? The average mmo can take anywhere between three to five years to develop, so the fact that you are seeing footage in a year AND taking into account that Asylum only have nine people working on it full time, is actually pretty amazing. Try doing some simple research before posting maybe? Now granted, Identity will not need much voice acting, it will also not need the traditional quests either, so some time will be saved there. But take into account the systems like jobs & careers etc, I'd imagine anyone who expects to see this hit launch before 2018 is going to be disappointed. Now try to remember Fataldutch........NOT a single player game right? it's an mmo.

2 pointsThere is actually a lot more shown there than it might look. If you have experience in game development at all, you know how long each thing takes. The amount of effort required to even do minor things, like having a lamp be placed near an outlet is crazy. This is actually the first bit of actual gameplay, and I'm actually surprised how advanced this is before the first version of the game is even released. I mean, what do you want them to show us? They've made it clear how they want to wait for everything to be finished before they show anything, and I doubt the Town Square is finished being created. Most of the features this game will have will look pretty plain and boring to just show on video, they've explained what it is going to be, and I think to get the full wow factor they actually have to be tried out by you to get any better experience. I got a lot from this video, the fact that there is both first and third person views, the design of the characters, the quality of the graphics, radios, tvs that actually work, which is pretty amazing really, computer software, really good lighting physics and shadows etc.
-
2 pointsHey Golden, Identity will be on Steam, but I'm not sure it will be on Steam during beta testing. You may have to download it from a custom launcher available on our website in order to test when the time comes. We will make more payment options available in the future from our website long before their are any changes to the current pledge tier options.
-
2 pointsIdentity's Town Square, a closed-off section of the Ash Hill city center, gives you a sneak peak at some of the items you've received from pledging to Identity. With a few dozen people per town square server, you can hang out and play games with other Identity fans while waiting on future modules and the full Identity world. ^this what we get at 2017 world, cars - 2018 and later
-
2 pointsImagine spending 1-2 years crafting something just to get comments like "Is this a joke?". Game development takes time and needs support and patience, not comments like this.
-
2 pointsIn my opinion, I believe they delivered on what they said they were going to put out. They said that the video that was coming is a 'Housing video' that shows off housing features; which they did. I don't believe they under-delivered. They also showed us the third person perspective (without really announcing it, I just think it's worth noting that the feature was in there) and intractability with the environment. Had they said this video was going to be a full fledged gameplay video, then I would have been disappointed; but the devs delivered what they promised... A housing video, and it was pretty cool!
-
2 pointsLike James said above, the game has only been in development for about a year. It takes time to perfect major functions of the game, and expecting them to finish it that quickly would be unfair, in my opinion. I believe that time can only make the game better, so I have no problem waiting. Not an attack on you, but just be courteous, as they're only a 9-person team and seem to be putting in a great amount of effort into developing the game.
-
2 pointsYou must remember also we talking about a Dev team of 9 some have other jobs to commit to.
-
2 pointsAfter the release the apartment customization trailer, Feared N Fearless is very certain they have made the right choice in expanding into identity. At this rate of steady progress in making a solid and deep game, we are confident in our choice in identity, and hope this community won't be a toxic place like GTA Online.
-
2 pointsThey said on twitter that the more a gun wears down, the higher chance it will have of jamming, the reason for that is they don't want people hoarding the same guns, they want them to be cycled out and having to keep on being made. Personally I like this idea because it will stop people hoarding every gun they get, if they use it, eventually it will be unreliable due to jamming.

2 pointsHello citizens! It's been too long since our last developer blog entry, so I wanted to take the time today to update all of our backers on Identity's current state of development, as well as give a little more insight into the process behind the scenes. During the first year and a bit of development, most of the time was spent developing key backend systems. Networking modifications, weapon physics, character customization, voice communication and so on. That's all behind us now, and I'm happy to say it's gone as well as we could have hoped. Now and for the past couple of months we've moved on to gameplay development, making those backend features do the fun stuff. This Month in Development In this last month our lead character artist, Miroslav, has finished up everything we need for your characters going into the Town Square release. We're always going to be adding more character customizations over time, but to start you'll have the choice between 4 male and 5 female race options. After selecting your base race you can customize further with skin tones, blemishes, scars, eye color, hair styles, hair colors and tweaks to facial features. Identity is expanding on the usual character customization, though, as some of the options available can only be gotten through achievements. Prison tattoos are an example; if you see someone with such a tattoo you know they've done something to earn it. A lot of work this month has also gone into the player housing systems. In following our previous messages, our home customization system has been in place for some months although we've been expanding the floorplans in preperation for the Town Square module release. Sean, or Motown as you may know him, has prepared the various apartments you will have in the Town Square. If you have made a smaller pledge to Identity and do not have an apartment yet, we're going to be giving you access to a temporary (small) home in the Town Square so that you can play with the cusomization features. If you've pledged for a package containing an apartment, Town Square will show what you'll have in the full Identity game upon release. Just this morning our lead programmer, Henrik (AKA Mathalion), finished up the karaoke systems. It's a minor feature for Identity as a whole, but it's going to be loads of fun in the Town Square module! Just off the lobby of the hotel is a slick little bar, complete with a karaoke stage. You'll be able to queue up your favorite songs on the karaoke machine and see the lyrics on one of the monitors around the stage. The microphone on the stage really works, too, amplifying your voice out of the speakers so that your singing can be heard by everyone there! Most of us are terrible singers, so karaoke is going to have a lot of hilarious moments. If you're just there to watch, the restaurant by the stage is fully functional, too! It's Been Too Long I'll just come right out and say it: we at Asylum Entertainment have really had poor PR these last months, and you guys deserve better. You deserve much more frequent updates, and we're committing to give you that moving forward. We're a relatively small development team today. Currently a core staff of 5 incredibly talented full-time developers, I'm amazed every day with what this team can accomplish. Outside of our core we have a handful of part-time workers, mostly artists, who are also very skilled. Because we're a small team, many of us have to wear several hats. For example, Sean is our community manager but also a 3D artist. I myself am the project manager, a programmer and interface developer. This leads to few resources to dedicate towards PR as there's so much work to be done on the game itself. This is something we knew though, and we're going to set some time aside regularly to keep you in the loop. The Town Square module is coming soon. We're in the final months of 2016 now, and you'll finally be inside the first piece of the Identity world in the first quarter of 2017. It's a little later than we originally hoped since we're dedicated to making sure everything is smooth and stable from the first moments. Identity is an enormous undertaking, but the most difficult bits are behind us and we're drawing near! What to Expect The first stage of game development is always very boring to talk about, and also doesn't give us much to show you. Creating those backend systems that drive the game behind the scenes is one of the most important phases, but it's not very glamorous. It's for this reason that most games aren't announced until they're a couple years into development. Now that we're past that point, we're going to be able to start showing you real Identity gameplay. The first gameplay video you'll see is going to be in November and will show you just how detailed and in-depth Identity is becomming! You'll see a walkthrough of our housing system, showing just how far it can be customized and some of the cool fun features you'll find in there. Following that video we'll give you a glimpse of the Town Square features, leading up to its release. It's been a ton of work and a long time coming, but we're moving forward at a great pace and everything is about to get very exciting over here.

1 pointAre the modules Alpha or Beta? The Modules are not any kind of beta but serve more as a Alpha! The Beta will be the closest thing to the full game. When is the Beta going to release? There is no current release point for the Beta except after all 3 modules are released. (Late 2018 is my estimate) When is this Game going to release? There is no point for when it is known to release. (My Estimate will be Early 2019 Release) Town Square Release Schedule? The first Module is due to release 21st March 2018 30th November 2018 as so the developers can be sure to hit the release date. 21st March 2018 Countdown When is there going to be game play footage? The next video is said to be on Gun Mechanics, and I would hope to think it will be shown before the S.W.A.T. Module. Crime & Punishment Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GT2b4YvylI4 Character Creation + Quick Tour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kctp79UE5sI Day/Night + Interiors + Interactions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNcJj4C_8ZE Homes/ Apartments: Hotels are free, apartments are infinite, all will get to try an apartment in town square, and there will be limited houses around the map, and that Homes can Store items and are useful as HQ's for gangs. Pledges/ and Prices: Some pledges will stay and prices of them will increase while the rest of the pledges will be removed from the store completely. This will be done when the new Website launches which will likely be Early 2018 and so make use of the time left! New website has already been launched. Higher packages are likely going to be removed during Town Square release or later on. Pledge Car Insurance: There will be life time insurance for the pledge cars/ vehicles. Server Player Capacity: The server player capacity is going to be between 300 - 500 players per server! Server size: Will be 300-500 players. What will the size of the "Town Square" be? The "Town Square" module will be as stated a Town Square and there is no "Figure" on the size of it as of yet! Will this game be released on Consoles? No this game is exclusively for PC however after the full game release the Developers will look into console porting. MoTown's Answer to a post on the forum: Our official answer on the topic of consoles is that we have no current plans to release Identity to console platforms, but have promised to do our research into what it might require after our PC launch. This is not a promise that Identity will be available on console, simply a promise to look into it. At the moment, it would be fair to say that it is outside of our scope and budget. Will this game be for MAC and Linux? Yes it will but I don't know if it will be shortly after launch of the game. Will there be AI (Artificial Intelligence)/ NPC's be roaming the map? No, this game is a player run game, but will have a few NPC's filling up the boring jobs which you and I would not do for hours on end e.g. standing at the tills of a shop, also they will be in the un-ownable shops too and they will be around in back-alleys to represent a (Black Market Dealer and Drug Dealers). Will there be any aircraft in this game? No there will not be aircraft in this game but the developers did mention a glider and possibly in the very far future they could still add them but that's not certain. Will there be Undercover cops? No, The reason why there won't be undercover cops is because the developers want a distinctive difference between cops and civilians/ criminals. How many buttons will be in the game? Probably more, but there will be radial menus for some things that will cut down on buttons. What steering wheels are supported? So far the Thrust-master ones are confirmed. ( if its a popular steering wheel, it'll work) Will this game be VR supported? Yes, the developers are working on it and want to be able to have VR supported because they want to use it too when playing the game. Unfortunately they don't think it will be supported at full game release. Is this game Subscription based? No! You buy the game (passport) and then you can play anytime with no more paying. Is there in-game Purchases? (read next question and the answer) Yes. Is this game Pay to Win? No, You can only buy cosmetic items. (Items which don't give players advantages). What are the system requirements? There is no official knowledge yet as its too early to say, but if you can run games like GTA V, Arma 3 and Ark you should be fine. System requirements are on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/792990/Identity/ How is in-game money going to work? Money will be as close and realistic to the USD. What are the names of the 3 cities? Ash Hill, Roseport and Turtle Beach. Can you break in/ raid someones home? No, police cannot raid your house and also no one can rob your house. In correspondance to police not being able to raid your home, it is that you cannot enter your property if wanted either. What age rating will the game be? This game will be Rated 18+. Can you live with someone? Yes you can but you have to have a bedroom for every person who lives in your house. This even includes if you marry someone! Gangs: There will be a gang system, such as making a guild in MMO's. Gangs will have ranks and even HQ's which can be someone's house where all gang members have access or a shop a gang member owns. In Town square, there will not be a gang system YET, but there will be a friends contact on your phones and you can easily roleplay your gang, to begin with. You can have biker gangs, as there are Bikes (such as the ones in the pledges) and leather jackets. You can put insignias on your clothes to show off your gang. There won't be designated gang categories, such as Biker gang or Mafia, but you can Roleplay your gang to be any type you want. There will, however, be areas of the map designed for specific sub-cultures, such as bars that are Biker themed, such as Biker Club Bars. A player can always buy a bar, make it a Biker Club / Bar and make it the HQ of their Biker Gang, or the same with a Mafia gang, etc... Stress System: The Stress System is the games anti-RDM (random deathmatch = randomly killing people for no reason) system. What happens is everyone has a stress level, and if you stress is low, you take less damage, and high, you take normal damage. When you pull out a gun, you instantly get high stress, and when one is aimed at you or you are near a fight, your stress will slowly rise. This helps you to fight back and try and get the advantage on a gunman by using the stress system to your advantage. In weapon customisation: People always ask if there will be silencers or 8X scopes, and there will not be any long range optics or silencers in Identity. Murder: WILL be auto reported and you will be instantly wanted, other crimes require witnesses and a 911 call. Can you Marry? Yes, you can marry both sex. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Reddit and Exclusive interview questions and answers Below ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Weapon Customisation? Weapon customization is quite detailed. Some weapons have more room for changes than others of course, but things like stocks, grips, sights and even paint/finish can be customized. Weapon actions are one of those things that don't work well in video games, mostly because no matter what you have in the game you're still firing with a mouse, and it will feel counter-intuitive making it over-complicated. For example, if you have a double action pistol and pull the trigger, your mouse click is all the same no matter if the hammer is back or forward so we need to design around the peripherals people are using to play. Weapon jams are something you can encounter. Our weapon physics are incredibly advanced and was one of the first systems completed long ago. We can create magazines of any size which hold physically accurate ammo. Calibre and even type (holopoint, FMJ, etc) have an effect on trajectory. Our programmer on the weapon physics read a lot of papers to get proper formulas, and they function off the same math used by real-world forensics. A bullet fired in Identity will travel almost identically to the same being fired in the real world, even when it comes down to things like stopping power versus penetration. Will there be physics to shoot through walls or boxes? Things that a bullet would usually go though in real world situations. Absolutely. Bullets are influenced by the material they hit. If it's wood, it will pass right through it with very little change to velocity, but a thin sheet of metal may still allow the bullet to pass through, yet reduce velocity enough that it may not kill, or do much damage to its target on the other side when it impacts. 1. What is in game prison like? 2. Is it like real prison with guards, rec time, shiving, and keeping a tight grip on the soap? 3. How does the drug manufacturing and trafficking work? 4. Can I get methylamine? 1. Identity's prison is very much a game within a game. As a prisoner, you can join one of three prison factions and battle for territory, or just hang out in the recreational room and chat and interact with other prisoners while you wait out your time. You'll be able to craft a crude shank and attack others, or attempt a prison escape as a group that the police will be forced to respond too from across the map. There are no player prison guards though. The decision for that was mostly just because we couldn't find a way to keep it engaging and fun. We don't want people to be forced to sit and watch other players. 2. For those in prison however, when they've served their time, they may simply exit the prison through a series of corridors that only they have access too, or if they just have a lengthy prison sentence, they can request a trial which will notify random players across the map to report for jury duty, in which case they will plead their case, and have their fate decided on by a vote whether to be released early, or spend the rest of their time behind bars. 3. & 4. In the outside world, there are a number of drug manufacturing processes, including the production of meth, heroin, cocaine, and marijuana. Each has its own unique crafting process. For instance, in order to cook meth, which is the highest paying and most valuable drug in Identity, it will require the player to purchase a mobile RV, convert it into a meth lab, and then steal all of the ingredients from across the map in certain factory locations. They'll then have to spend time cooking the meth through a series of time-based processes that determine the quality of the product before finally selling it to an NPC drug dealer for a big payout (or you can consume it if you feel like cutting into your hard-earned profits). 1)Price when the game releases 2)Will there be realistic payments for the jobs(on official servers)? I really hate it when you deliver a huge track full of diamonds and get 10k for it just breaks the immersion 3)Will the items take physical space inside the car not only for furniture but with job items as well (Weed, diamonds, etc) and will you be able to put more staff in the car if Let's say you have a 4 man vehicle but its only you and a friend inside so you have 2 sheets left will that mean extra space? 4)Will the things you buy have realistic prices? For example if you buy a Ferrari it will cost you something like 150k? 5)Will there be real life cars in the game or unlicensed cars like in gta v 6)Will there be any A.I cops or enemies? 7)Will i be able to raid other players houses? 8)Will there be a report system so you can instant report someone if he rdm's/vdm's you 9)Will there be an in game recorder so you can have proof for rdm ? (something like plays.tv lets say) 10)will there be a casino? 11)Any micro transactions? (not for cosmetic items) 12)Can you compare the driving to another game so we kinda know how driving will be like ?(i hope not like arma) 13)Will you be able to shoot while inside a vehicle 14)will there be rebel items like armored(extra armor and guns)vehicles, helicopters, jets. 1. Currently, you can pre-order, or pledge early for Identity for as low as $15 (without beta access) or $30 (with beta access) from our website @ identityrpg.com - however, we expect the price of the game to jump up to about $45 when it hits steam, as steam takes a pretty large chunk of income from each sale. 2. Expect Identity's currency to be realistic in value, so your pay will also be realistic. A pair of shoes may cost about $40, and a decent car around $30,000. A lot of games reward players with such high numbers in currency and damage though because there seems to be a psychological attracting to larger numbers, so we can understand why games do it but it won't be that way in Identity. 3. Items will take up physical space inside the trunk of a car. When a player accesses the trunk, there is a 2D grid placement system in which each item takes up a number of squares on the grid depending on its shape and size. The largest items will not fit inside the trunk of a small car, so a big semi-truck with a trailer may be necessary. 4. Oops, I answered this with #2 as well. 5. There won't be real-world cars or brands in Identity. We can't afford the license fees to include real brands in our game, and we're almost certain these companies would not want their brands associated with vehicle damage, or some of the criminal and illegal elements also featured in the game. 6. There won't be AI cops out in the game environment, driving police vehicles, or paroling streets. If there are any, they will simply stand behind a desk at the station recruiting new player officers or providing information. 7. You will not be able to raid another players house, or enter their house without their permission. We want player homes to be your personal space, safe from any outside influence. Players are going to put a lot of effort customizing their homes, and we don't want to jeopardize or disturb the work they put into it. 8. RDM/VDM isn't an enforced rule on official servers, but there will be a tool for reporting these actions on private servers who create rules for these actions. Instead, on Official servers, we have a stress system in place to discourage random attacks or griefing. 9. There won't be an in-game video recording tool, but you can use 3rd party video recording software like OBS, Fraps, or Shadowplay. 10. There will be casinos in Identity, but they are not player owned. 11. Micro-transactions exist for cosmetics, some vehicles, and some apartments, and will be claimable across all servers (hopefully including private servers). We will not sell weapons. 12. Expect driving in Identity to be realistic, much like Grand Theft Auto IV, not V. Players won't be able to survive crazy stunt jumps in Identity, and enough damage could disable your vehicle. Unfortunately however, we cannot easily do a damage model like you might expect to see in BeamNG. Damage has to be networked across the server, and we feel transmitting that much damage data could hurt performance. 13. You won't be able to shoot from inside your vehicle. We want to discourage random acts of violence for the sake of roleplay. 14. There won't be any armoured vehicles in Identity, apart from maybe SWAT trucks. We don't want to give anyone a PVP advantage based on vehicle armor. Aircraft are also not present in Identity, as it is important to us that players do not skip over potential encounters they may have gotten into while driving, and of course because we don't want the world to feel smaller by flying quickly from point A to point B. If anyone thinks of more FAQ questions please comment and I can add them in.

1 pointHey guys, recently looked into this game and figured I'd create a forum profile! Anyways, in every great MMORPG they have holiday events! And I know not a lot of people celebrate certain holidays, but I thought that it'd be cool if we could have events where you can items during that holiday season that you normally can't get. Valentine's Day: For Valentine's Day, I'm thinking you guys can add some special car decals and new clothes. For women, some lingerie (if that's allowed) and for men, maybe some heart t-shirts. I don't know, there's not much you can do for Valentine's Day. Canada Day (Canadian Servers if they're separate from US): For Canada Day, go out with all RED! Whatever you can come up with, make it red! Have people show their patriotism for Canada! I think that would be really cool for Canadians and I think that event should last only on Canada Day. July 4th (American Servers if they're separate from CA): For July 4th, we can go all out with RED, WHITE, AND BLUE! Whatever you can come up with, make it American and patriotic! Also, this should last only on July 4th. Halloween: We've all grown to love Halloween at some point in time and how cool would it be to dress up and trick or treat?! Or... have the purge. Either way, stores should be selling masks as well as costumes and candy for those who want to pass out candy to people! Maybe, just maybe, there could be a server event where the purge happens on that night for maybe an hour or so. This could make overpopulation die out Thanksgiving (American Servers if they're separate from CA): Turkey day! We can have Turkey shirts, Turkey decals for cars and houses, as well as a special Turkey dinner that you can cook and get the recipe for only on Thanksgiving! This should last only on Thanksgiving as well. Black Friday (Oh god...): Yeah, I know not everyone shops on Black Friday, but I think it'd be cool to have it in-game! We could have 30-70% off sales in all stores. This would especially help out the newbies who have little to no money. This could be on every server and should last only on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Christmas: Everyone's favorite holiday (maybe..)! We could have snow falling for a week down in California, which would be insane. Stores could be selling christmas decorations for your house and holiday clothing! I think this should last for the whole week on which Christmas lies on. Again everyone reading, these are all suggestions and my ideas. If you'd like to comment other suggestions related to this, go ahead! I'm open to feedback as well and hope you all think these are ideas that could possibly be implemented into the game.

1 pointI'm nothing special, just a kid in a small town who has dreams of living in a house with some friends and exploring the world. I'm very excited for this game to come out and hope everyone accepts me without problems. Can't wait to play this game with everyone. - Coats.

1 pointWhen you are killed you can either respawn and lose only what you were carrying on your character or wait for a paramedic to revive you.
-
1 pointThat is the developers goal to make it so 300 players can fit on each server. They said they are adding 300 houses to the map, + apartments and more. This will be a official server figure, but the community servers may be able to get more than 300 players slots per server, but I think 300 is good goal.
-
1 pointTrue, and they complete more then they show in this video (karaoke system for example)
-
1 pointok nice i would looove to have a FORD SHELBY GT350R. Anyways im really looking forward for this game!

1 pointIt's mainly unknown what cars will be picked to be re-created in the game because that will be the last bit of the development process. Here's a topic from long ago where tons of users submit the cars they would like to see in the game!

1 pointExactly that type of gang! You too brother. I wanted to mix it between a MC and a street-type gang. This is what I got.

1 pointI had an idea that the police would have their very own website and already there is now hundreds of new opportunities that can be made. The police should have their very own website accessible to everyone not just the police however only the police officers and anyone in the law enforcement career should be able to make edits to the website while citizens could just check and try to report a recent sighting of the criminal so that they could possibly get a small reward in the arrest of the suspect. The website should be acsessable on all the computers and smart phones. Just to name some of the very few opportunities that would be avaible on the website would be the option to view the wanted list which would let officers know that this person has a warrant out for his/her arrest and also let's the officer know if this is a dangerous person it would also display any picture of the person if any screenshot or any previous served jail time has been acquired and served. That was just one tab I would put on the website however I have another idea for a section that would be really neat. For example if a police officer pulls over a man that looks like he is in his early twenties for speeding then the officer proceeds by asking for the mans proof of license and insurance on the vehicle. The man cooperated and gave you the information, you would go back to your cruiser and type in the info of the driver in several tabs full name, age, gender, birth date, expiration date of lisence and the lisence plate on the vehicle Once you enter the information it should give you a list of that persons records it should tell you any recent situations where he/she has been in such as any citations, arrest records, warnings or anything else needed to know about the suspect that the officer is dealing with. The officer should also be able to check different license plates on the website to see which car is registered to a certain person so that the officer could decide if the vehicle was possibly stolen. There also could be a tab for investagators where they could talk to each other and also look at gang bosses and different cases that they could try to crack down on. Overall I think that it would be best if each division of the police department had several sections and tabs of their own that they would use in different ways. I would love to explain more but with the creation of a website for the police I think that many opportunities would be avaible. Actually I think that if ignoring worked well this could be used for EMS to look up previous medical history of a client of theirs or even for firefighter or really any other branch of government that can find it useful. I would love to hear ideas from others and I think that this idea could go far if looked into. I understand developers have a lot on their plate but if possible I think this would need to be a necessity for the police and other service careers. I appreciate all of you taking your time to read this I would like plenty of feedback so that we can make this a thing that will happen. Any ideas of yours are welcome so don't be afraid to join in the conversation . I am new to the community so if I did or said something already being implemented orbeing discussed I would like to know so that I can think of other things not thought of already. Thank you!!!

1 pointThis is actually a great idea. I think the police already have a system like this. But access to citizens is also great. Although it kinda breaches the laws of privacy.

1 pointNo real gameplay, unfortunately showing a set of rooms and a placement interface doesn't constitute anything all that remarkable. I am sorry to be negative, I think I just want this to be real (and see real progress) yet I am not seeing anything that provides that confidence yet.
-
1 pointOMGGGGGGGGGG, THIS LOOKS SO DAMN EPIC JUST WATCHED AND THATS WHY IT TAKES ALONG TIME TO DEVELOP FELLAS. IF THEY APPLY THAT SAME EFFORT TO THE FULL GAME. THIS MIGHT BE THE GREATEST GAME EVER MADE!
-
1 pointI think i remember someone , possibly one of the developers, saying that you can chat on your in-game phone , probably just like arma life.

1 pointOr better yet, maybe just a TV news channel. I doubt players would put in the time to create a newspaper. Although I do want to see newspapers. It would really give the world an 'alive' feeling.

1 pointThe answer you are looking for depends on the type of server you'll be on. On a role play server the answer is both complex and simple. For example: On the server we'll be running the permanent death of a player will need that players prior consent, the reasons for which are quite simple. Role play involves quite a lot of time and effort, & multiple story lines can be woven by and/or around one players character, all of which can go right down the toilet if Billy Badass logs in one evening and wants to go on a killing spree because he's had a bad day. At the same time, this kind of system requires players willing to actually role play...... We are not going to be running a RL simulator we'll be running a RP sim, and while death is a part of real life, it doesn't have to be included in stories. If you do not wish your character to be killed off, don't involve yourself in stories/situations where you can expect to die, and if you DO (for example the player who decides to be a mobster then thinks that the rules allow him to be able to run around being as bad as he likes) then fully expect moderators to rule you to be permanently dead. As far as game mechanics go, the Devs have stated that a player can only be flagged as criminal IF there are witnesses to the crime i.e. they are seen and reported, and that cops can only arrest a flagged criminal. Therefore a player who is killed, and then meta-games by reporting his killer, won't matter, you can't call dead people to give evidence in a trial lol. Unlike fantasy role play, urban role play does require players who are willing to die, for example the life of many a mobster, even those at the top, is more often than not a short lived one. However, in game terms it really does not make that much of a difference for the criminal UNLESS you include the death penalty, jail time for assault with a deadly weapon would be much the same as jail time for murder. Successful RP servers will need good players, players willing to both live AND die in order to weave the stories that players will create.

1 pointI think having choices would be great too. Especially for deaf people and the hearing impaired. Of which I am. I know having a built in system that can translate what people are saying into text would be super useful and would give people using text something to reference in their reply
-
1 pointAs restricting as it may be for some people, I am a firm believer in roleplay ingame strictly being through voip. Text based roleplay in a game like this creates unnecessary delay and can ruin immersion immensely.

1 pointI think a little Italy would be something you guys should really consider. On the forums, i'd say the majority of gangs are actually Italian mafias, closely followed by 1%er motorcycle clubs rather than street gangs. The little Italy (that would likely be in Roseport, especially if it has similarities to New York) could be the ultimate spot for a mafia family to control and hang out, and also have some nice Italian restaurants. Just something to consider if you guys have a street that you don't know what to do with . So excited for the game!

1 pointDon't you worry there is no need for PMC's in identity this is not Iraq. We don't need groups with guns hired by the rich. If you want less crime and security you got to vote for hope. Vote for hope vote for Dino. #Dino2016. If you would change into a secutiry and not a PMC that is a different thing.
