Hello reader, Before giving off my own ideas, I got inspiration off of @Herzog and his idea of a comic con. Please show him some love if you find this a good thing or just want to see this implemented. So, I have an idea that involved large scale events. I was thinking that there could be a feature where you can buy land, and then build on that land. People would be able to build a stage or make a large building that would include things like a Comic-Con or some big social gathering where a lot (and I mean a lot, hundreds, and maybe even thousands) of people will be able to go to that one place and be with people that share those interests on a large scale. For example, I am the manager of a band and I want to hold a concert. I would be able to buy off a piece of land and build a stage and sell tickets for the band. I know this is very ambitious but this could be a big part of the game that would help bring the community together. ~Dickbutt

True. I just feel like if they don't release some sort of any type of video, it would seriously hurt some of the long waited and im-patient followers.

I will be disappointed but I will still have hope and hype for the game as I don't give up easy, and so far I have waited patiently for nearly 2 years for the game itself. I can easily wait another year, but that is just me. I think, everyone should wait till every country/ place in the world is Thursday before dropping hope because the time differences can be everything.

Yeah, no hate at all towards the devs, but the release of the video will make or break the hype for me, I saw on their twitter about 7 months ago they planned on releasing a video, so if it doesn't come out now then I can't keep hoping it'll come out.

Hello reader, This could be a great idea and a great way for talented musicians to make money in this game. Someone may start a band if get coordinated with a bunch of people to write songs and sing. Everyone still has to remember that no matter how much this game can do, it has limitations. So please dont get your hopes up on every little thing as it's not simple to make everything possible.

All of what is said is accurate. I would personally only run for office on the official servers.

I was wondering if sports will be an option for a career. Like could a person play football, futbol, tennis, lacrosse, etc. I think this would be a great idea allowing players to become sports stars along with sport announcers. They could have stadiums and whatnot. I would love for this to be a thing. :)\ -VaxJezus

Is stealth in regards thieves possible? If I was a thief I'd be pretty annoyed if a floating nametag gave me away. Will we be able to use anything like a mask to conceal our identity when committing crimes and/or trespassing?

Hello reader, I was wondering if there was any mention of a radio talk host. If people could buy a frequency and then play music and talk over it would be awesome. People in their cars would be able to tune into the radio and listen as they drive wherever they drive. Also, a youtube player could be added to the game or some form of music playing. If anyone has any questions on any concerns or question on how this would work, feel free to leave a comment and I will gladly answer you. ~Dickbutt

What will you do? Tough one to answer beyond 'we'll be running a server' really. With such scant details available it's almost impossible to work out most of what will be needed. Political system, Emergency Services etc etc are all going to need more information from Asylum before we can actually begin advertising for the roles we'll be needing, or finalize the types of systems we'll want.

Hello reader @Motown, First of all, I would like to start by saying that I mean 0 disrespect and I have full respect for the devs and them writing the threads. I think that they just couldn't put in enough detail but they were in a rush or maybe just by mistake were a little bit vague. Some default items are always available in all stores for when market demand is not met" Although most of this is a very good idea, there is something that I would like to address and get your opinion on. Especially this part "Bounty Hunter" I have a few questions I would like to ask and would greatly appreciate if you could answer them for me. Of course any member is allowed to give their input but I am mostly looking for the devs and @Motown for their opinion. 1. Will the bounty hunter job be an illegal thing where you go around and kill people that have a bounty on them. 2. Will there be any RP involved in this arresting/killing. If not then it kind of deters the point of the same in the sense that bounty hunters with money will get sniper rifles and just shoot down their target with no RP and will just cause drama and debates on whether or not that was allowed or blah blah blah. 3. Could you please elaborate in detail on what you mean by "Bounty Hunter". Different people have different definitions of a bounty hunter. Some think that a bounty hunter is someone who works for the police and captures highly wanted criminals. Some people see a bounty hunter as basically a hitman. You tell them who you want dead, and they go kill him. Secondly, the big corporations are a very good idea but I think that they will either have very little influence on the game or way too much, here's why: Corporations are big companies that own a lot of other companies. The people in these companies are at the top of the top and most of them will stay that way until the end of their days. On top of all the power that they have, they have influence. So in this game, the biggest of the biggest corporations will either have too much power and in return, there won't be much of a chance for the smaller companies to get larger and develop. It will be very limited to a few people that control a lot of money and have almost all the power in the world. Speaking of power, if they were ever sent to court on any accounts, would bribery be allowed? Would the biggest corporations be allowed to bribe judges and live free and happy for the rest of their days just because they have money? I don't think anyone would want a big corporation to be able to do that. Although this happens all the time in real life (corruption) I believe that this should have a post dedicated to and the community should be able to become a solid conclusion Finally, if any dev or game founder would like to adress any of this, it would be greatly appreciated Yours forever ~Dickbutt

Let them develop the game, stop being greedy, it will come in time. The longer we wait the better developed it will be. Do you know how hard it is to make a game of this magnitude. Nobody does, because its never been done before. In the meantime I would reccomend just playing other games, play arma or ... idk second life if you wanna roleplay lol

They have said already that you will be able to manufacture guns and such, here is a player company which is ready for that business Donaldson & Guns also I am sure @AndrewDonaldson will be able to fill you in more about this stuff/ section of systems if the developers have made the info public.

I'm pretty sure I saw on their twitter that the black market NPC's are for putting items you want to sell for others to see and buy, I'm not sure about legal items being sold but that's basically an auction house for illegal items.

I think this would be great but with some changes. I really think that if it turns into a 1:7 or possibly more kind of situation, things could go wrong. In the NoPixel Arma 3 community, the past police chief "Max Kit" was in charge of so much that he eventually gave up because of all the stress. There should be some people to help the police chief and make it possibly a 2:7 or even a 3:7 if need be but a structure where it turns into a | Chief ^ | | | | Assistant ^ Assistant ^ Assistant ^ Assistant ^ | | | | | | | | Division ^ Division ^ Division ^ Division ^ Division ^ Division ^ Divisions ^ I think that this with some minor changes could be a better route because the 4 people answer to the chief and then the 4 supervisors/assistants tell the division commanders what to do and so on and so forth down the chain. This would keep the chief in power while maintaining control and stability within the force and most importantly trust. This would also give the chief some breathing room as he can trust his supervisors/ assistans (w.e. you want to call them) to make important decisions. Hello guys! I'm simply just wondering, will private security be a thing in the game. And if so, how will it work? I would like to start a priv sec company offering 2 types of services. A basic one, offering the costumer an officer checking in on the property.. say at least one time a hour (real time) to see if everything is ok. And a more expensive service, with camera detection giving us at the company a call something is wrong.. = quicker responstime for officers to show up. Any officials on here that can tell a little about how priv sec will be, if it's gonna be apart of the game? Thank you!

Hello reader, I realize that this is a lot like the post that the dev his "devblog" on and I am saying this as in, we can buy a frequency just for us and no one else can be able to use it because how the dev worded it, anyone can walk into the building and start hosting when you aren't. I mean like, you purchase a building, and you make it into your personal thing or you can start out in your appartment. Also, will there be different mics that you can buy that will increase sound quality (in game mics, duh) or will it be as good as your mic in real life. I hope this clears things up a bit. ~Dickbutt

Sadly, there is no military in Identity. As there is only one map, who would the military go to war with, even if there was one? No, the closest thing is the police force. Which has the rankings and training you were talking about. There was also be S.W.A.T. So if you are looking for something more elite, there's that. Will this be able to include, for example, call centers, where the call operators can contact the relevant department or unit and dispatch members of the force to a crime? Like in the real world? I think that would be a critical part of the police communications.

It is up to the staff of the game what they would like to see happen in their official servers. Due to it being just that, it is likely they will push for balanced rules and a bit of realism. Killing someone simply because you could will always be seen as a toxic outlook and will likely end up being a punishable offense. As for no admins due to them "being unstable", I believe you may be letting past experiences jade your opinion on staff. Admins who are thoroughly vetted and trained in administration and problem resolution will have no issues with their stability. To not have staff on a server would bring nothing but chaos.

Hey everyone, I'm Brendan, I'm currently a senior in high school taking a programming class and 3D modeling course with high hopes to go into the gaming industry in the future. I've been gaming ever since I was about 5 or 6. I've always loved video games and the world that it put you in. By the age of 13 I bought my first PC and gamed on it for about 2 years, After working part-time I save up money and built my new Gaming PC which is what I use now. After switching to PC I will never go back to consoles! Once I built that computer I installed all my software for 3D modeling and have been creating different projects to store in a portfolios for future job applications, by late 2016 I hope to apply for an internship at Gearbox Software (Creators of Borderlands) to improve my knowledge of the gaming industry.
