First of all let me start by saying that this is, in no way, an attempt to start any kind of flame war, or to attack Asylum. I represent a genuine group of concerned investors who, for whatever reason, decided to back this enterprise. Over the last few months people have been posting about Motown/Paratus being scammers, about how we should 'do our research' etc etc. Well we did our research BEFORE we invested and I want to make it clear that these posters have quite clearly NOT done any research of their own. All the controversy surrounding Arma3 mods did NOT involve Altis Life, Motown or Paratus. So those are not our concerns. We invested in Identity simply because we shared their vision, but now we would like an answer. Before I ask the obvious question, I want to make something else clear, we do NOT want an answer from a 'fan' or a moderator, we want to hear from the Devs. The question is this: Is Identity still in development, and if so, what is it's status as of today? If, like us, you are a concerned investor in this project, then please sign this petition for a reply & maybe we can see an end to the constant posting of this same dam question over and over again.

Title explains it all really --If you have any other questions/ categories just suggest it and I may add it - the list is looking quite bare currently-- --Also i'm not sure if this belongs in here or in general so feel free to move it there-- Company Name: What will It do/make/sell?: Ideal Employee Count: Main Assets: --Vehicles, equipment, buildings etc-- Example of logo: --Either insert an image or its link here--

Obviously, police work (and Identity by and large,) takes all kinds. So I'm curious--who here's coming from another mod/community where they did law enforcement? What were your experiences? Personally, I'm coming from Arma 3's A3L--I was a patrol cop there for a very long time, but I ultimately went my own way due to some differences of opinion with the department leadership and the direction the force was going. Even still, I spent hundreds of hours on patrol there, and I basically did it all--high speed pursuits, bank robberies, backing up SWAT as they executed search warrants, you name it. It taught me a lot about police work and I learned a lot about people. Hopefully, when Identity gets going, I'll be able to take that experience to the streets.

Im here to back the game from start to end and im not one of those people that are incredibly worries about the outcome. Whether the game comes out or not im glad i could have helped. I would however like to know whether the game is still in development or not and what its current status is. Thanks Asylum.

Yup I've had me the Passport for a while. Looking to upgrade depending on progress

Oh it's not me but everyone who follows the "project" that hasn't seen any progress. It's been stuck at 64% for 5 months. This is nothing but some pictures of environment. The thing about map designing is that creating the map is actually quite easy and doesn't really require a lot of work, which makes it fast. So creating the town square like they did doesn't take long at all. What takes long are the collisions, the physics among other things. Guess what? We have no way of verifying that those were done aswell because all we have is pictures. Let's see what else we have... Oh. Models, great! Too bad those are easy to do aswell. Oh i almost forgot, we also have this: Looks quite amazing, doesn't it? But again, just like times square, all we have is objects and models put here and there, nothing relevant. Where is the model in effect? I don't want to see pictures of concept or designing. I want to see PROOF that they are actually making a game and not a concept. If the game was at its beginning like say 2 or 3 months in that would be ok. But when you say you have a team of around 10 people working on the game and all you can do in 1 and a half years is THIS???! Come on dude you have to stop being in denial. Probably promises that they aren't gonna keep or just details that they know about because they made a brainstorming about their game and they kept the details in a documentation or something. Again, it really isn't any proof that they are actually working on the game and they could just check the twitter from time to time and answer some bullshit to make it seem like they're doing something. Which leaves us with 2 possibilities on the future of this "game": 1. They're going really slow and the game is going to release in maybe 10 years or more. 2. It's all a bullshit, a cash grab, a scam, whatever you want to call it but it's not a game that's for sure. I don't know if you are paid or anything to pull out this bullshit on the forums or just a delusional fan but there's a moment when you have to stop believing and that moment is long gone by now. I really want to see further than that but i just can't. I had high hopes for this game when i donated in march 2015 but now i realise that it was only a dream and nothing more. I'll add to that that the devs have a shady past of cheating, scamming and so on. Just do your research and realise for yourself.

Sounds cool, I hope to join the PD when the game is out! I am very hyped for this game to come out and I see a lot of potential .

Anyone who claims to be the best at a game before it even comes out is.... let's hope for their sake just a bad liar. However, there is a difference between being the best, and being the biggest (IE most members).

For the record, this is a pretty sizeable project and they are but a small indie team. Motown still keeps up with twitter when he can, but he is also the 3D artist for the game. If you don't feel comfortable investing the money, then don't. I for one, have faith that they are working hard on the game so I would rather them put the time to that then answering silly questions.

I was kind of in a rush while writing this, but I'll explain. First of all, when I was in SWAT, I scouted the outside of the building. Looking for doors to breach, windows to shoot through, etc. I scout it like in Rainbow Six: Siege. Except no drones. Also, standard full-penetration cannot be applied if you do not study the building and know who's inside. It's not silly, it brings realism. SWAT do study the building before breaching IRL. Also, if the enemy knows you're in there, you're in danger. I never mentioned about taking our time. I try to be as quick as the SAS members at the Iranian embassy raid. Better explanation?

Perfect! Well the way that spec-ops, the flashy super quick way, only works in real life because we are than dealing with reaction times and hundreds of hours of practice and experience. Something you can not ask from a gamer. The way I teach the slow way is used by conventional fighting forces that are fighting an insurgency where there is no time pressure. We are talking about stacking up, pie-ing the door, checking if everyone is prepared for a breach and then breach. This of course isn't something SWAT should use during hostage situations or any situation where there is a time pressure or the chance of being seen/heard before entry. However teaching this to regular officers that need to assist SWAT in clearing the rest of a street or clear the rooms they deem unnecsarry for them is the best type of CQB you can teach. Because it promotes slow methodical thinking, aiming and movement. And there are hundreds of ways you can apply this, scanning through a thight allyway or maybe checking a car with an open door? But again; it can only be performed when you; -Don't care as much about being seen -Don't care as much about being heard -Have alot of time you can spend But this is not something for a SWAT team and won't work for one either to be fair. They will be heard & shot at before they even breach. Here's a document I wrote last summer on S.W.A.T. in A3L(Yes I now know its aerial and not earial, forgive me, I'm not natively English): Click me!

Although I have never experienced FIBUA against live enemy, all FIBUA drills that I have engaged in have been some of the quickest and most dynamic manoeuvres that the military operate, the reason being; as soon as the enemy know you are in a building - you are in danger. Not having a go at you... I'd just be interested to see how this could be done slowly and still be safe?

I have a big background in military simulation and also ArmA RP (Mid 2012 to present). Have trained many people with core SWAT skills. Some of this is still seen in many ArmA 3 RP communities & gangs. I proud myself on the knowledge I have gained and transferred from and to other people. This ranges from simple communications to how to properly breach and clear rooms (In the movie / spec ops way of everyone rushes in to the military way where thinks are taken a bit slower and safer for that matter).
