3 pointsSalutations my friends! My name is Brian, I'm 26 and I hail from the Green Mountains of Vermont. By day, I'm a jack of all trades gamer (seriously, I'll play anything) and by night, I'm a forklift driver for Keurig (I'm not kidding, 12 hour night shifts suuuck!). I'm happily engaged (don't worry, she's a gamer as well) and will become a first-time father this October with the birth of my son, Jack. If you couldn't tell by now, I have an obsession with parentheses. Let's see, I've been gaming since I was 3 years old starting on the NES, so that would make 23 years of gaming. It's my favorite hobby, followed by programming, working with computers, drumming, sports, dirtbikes, and having an occasional drink. I play PC, Xbox One and a variety of retro system emulators. My current games of choice are Overwatch, WWE 2K16, SimCity, GTA V (heavily modded of course), American Truck Simulator and Gangland (an old 2004 mafia-style RTS. The online servers have been shutdown but is still playable on LAN and single-player). I stumbled across Identity about a year or so ago along with 1013 Police Simulator on Kickstarter and have been watching both for some time. It seems to be the game I've been waiting a LONG time for. I tried to get my "realistic world" fix from SA-MP, Arma 2 mods and a few others, but nothing quite seemed to match what I was quite looking for but Identity seems to hit the nail right on the head. I'm hoping for great things to come out of the community and from what I can see, there is a lot of variety for what people want to do and that excites me. I think that's all for now. If you'd like to get together and play other games, I'm available on Xbox, Steam and Battle.net, just shoot me a PM and I'll give you details! Hope to meet the rest of the community soon! ~ Vyn

1 pointNot in monetary gains but I mean expanding efficiency and the ability to produce more goods. I'm basically just looking for the capabilities a business can have as far as their crafting system goes.
-
1 pointI think it would be better to start a new one. Mainly because of the new people that joined the site can now start off with everybody else!

1 point@Clickerita That sort of things where a little bit explained in the trailer of the game. Options for your mobile devices you can have in the game. But maybe there is more information about that on this forum but also could not find anything

1 pointSo is this not basically the first module - the town square? Imo, I think the beta that they will release should be the whole map, as I imagine they want to find out the bugs etc, and to be fair, I don't think it's going to be a beta like is seen in other games, where they stay in early access for years, I think they will release the beta when they have most of the core mechanics there, to find bugs or glitches before the main release, and see how well the general gameplay goes on, and how well the economy works. The beta can mean they can test all of these before release, so if there are glitches or problems which mean people get too much money, and therefore guns etc, making an unbalanced game, they can change it before release, and then reset everyone, and people can't really complain. I also read that it will let them test their anti-cheat, and if any hacks are made they can improve their anti-cheat and fix it, and get rid of all the hacked items before release On another note, seriously, what is your problem? You say James is " just another backer fan ", but to be honest imo, he is much more. He is extremely active on ,at least, the suggestion forum, and im sure the others as well, and is very helpful, and like someone said before, knows a lot more than a lot of people do about the game. Great, now I sound like his fan boy or something. You said " Share this idea or have other ideas? " and the first person who does this, in an informative way, you go off it, and start having a go at him, nit picking every word he says, cough cough *we*, oh no, how offensive. Not to say that there is a lot more mistakes in your posts, which doesn't bother me, but still. "way you are talking is just disrespectful ". Pretty rich coming from the person who says " You talk a lot about WE your the spokesperson of everybody your a real character jeezz " To somebody who took the time to reply to your post, and Is a lot more experienced on the forums, and who I can pretty much guarantee knows a lot more about the game than you. "Indeed should be like adults take some feedback". Again, pretty rich considering what I mentioned in the last paragraph, and also, for the record, "Kickapoo Your name says it all". Yeah, what an adult thing to say, commenting on his name, wow, that has *soo* much to do with the topic. James was, and does talk in a much more adult manner than you. Overall, please learn to take some criticism maybe (if that's honestly what you think it is), and maybe get some respect as well? Edit - @Kickapoo I can't agree more with your posts. Edit 2 - So I was looking through the forums, and guess what, I found another one of your comments 'hurray'. I'm going to paste them here to back up my points " I dont care what you stated im not only talking to you", and yet another hypocritical statement " If you are a sensitive guy i will set your little heart at ease". Like seriously, what the fuck?

1 pointThe policing career is the most in-depth of all the careers in Identity because it serves a very important role in the game as a whole. When you first start out as a rookie cop, you'll begin patrolling and responding to dispatch calls. If there's a dispatcher online you can speak to them directly with your radio and if not it's handled by an automated system. As you progress you can unlock additional perks in the policing career and eventually you can experience new specialty roles like detective, SWAT, and so on. A police officer can only ticket or arrest another player for something they are known to have committed. If a cop sees you speeding down the road, he then has the opportunity to ticket you. If he turns on his emergency lights and you refuse to pull over for him, the system will now allow him to charge you with resistance. That is, at the base level, how the system functions. Private servers have the option to remove all restrictions and leave it up to the discretion of the officer, although this system keeps the police in-line. A lot more information on policing will be available on the website very shortly. I just had to hide about half of this thread since it was completely off-topic arguing. Let's try to keep that to the private messages.

1 pointCurrently, the maximum jail sentence is 45 minutes. That could change! It's a simple value that we can set and modify on the fly, and will do so based on future testing! First off, there are two areas you may be placed in when arrested. Jail, for minor crimes lasting no more than 5-10 minutes where you will simply have to sit around in your cell, harassing the neighboring inmates until released, and Prison, for major crimes! The prison feature is like playing an entirely new game in itself! There is shanking, gangs, territory control, prison breaks, or even just social areas for those who don't want get their hands dirty! Prisoners can request a trial, and if accepted, will be sent to a court house where a jury of players will determine your fate. If acquitted, you will be released on the spot, where you can continue your life on the outside, but if found guilty, you will have to spend the remainder of your time in prison, and can choose to leave at your own will once your sentence expires.

1 pointHello citizens! I'm Motown, and I'm Identity's Community Manager, the person in charge of delivering all of your important ideas and messages to Identity's development team! What's special about my role here is that I'm not just your eyes and ears, I'm also one-half of the founding team for Identity! John Vanderzwet and I set out together to make Identity a reality, and have been involved in every aspect of Identity's development since the very start. That means, through me (and our volunteer moderator staff), you have direct access to the very top of our family tree, and we can influence the design and development of Identity together! You won't get that sort of treatment from many industry CM's! So, If you have ideas that you feel will expand and define Identity for years to come, let me know, and I will make sure it hits the right ears. What a relief it has been to know that so many people have been waiting for a game like Identity for so long. I couldn't be happier to have the opportunity to be the liaison that will connect you with the world of Identity and the wonderful people who make it what it is! We strongly feel that we have a winning formula, and the deepest conviction that we may revolutionize the MMORPG genre with your support! We're going to do a lot of great things together, so it's only fair that you know a little bit about me first! My name is Sean, I'm 27 years old. My best friend is my boss and co-worker, John Vanderzet. I grew up all over the United States where I've developed the hyperactive, happy, and unbiased personality you will come to know me for! I call Ontario, Canada my temporary home while I work on Identity as your Community Manager, interim Art Director and 3D prop artist. I went to college for Video Game Design & Production, but my true passion is interacting with people! I've been a forum moderator for many large and well-known online gaming communities, including a default subreddit of 8 million subscribers on Reddit.com, a volunteer guide of the Followers of Asura in "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures", an event organizer in "Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa" (Big RG fan btw!), the only English forum moderator of a German FPS called "Parabellum" (Google Translate ftw!), and forum moderator for "Planetside 1", "GamersFirst", "Mortal Online", and a few others I can't even remember, for varying lengths of time! Yep, I get around! But now it's time I get to know a little bit about you too. Create a new topic in this forum, and introduce yourself! We want to know exactly what personalities come out of the the deep, dark, depths of the internet to share our passion for Identity! But be nice!
