How was this unprofessional you fuck? This is a great deal of detail and you're over exaggerating, the game hasn't even came out yet and you think you're an actual boss in real life. It's identity forums, relax. I along with my Antarctican Gang of vicous penguins should gang rape you. Or are virtual don Luciano hitmen going to throw me into river. Don Frank Luprano was right on this one, your just a jackass who thinks he's powerful. Olive garden fiend.

I found this after not being satisfied with the screenshots and content that i was getting , after watching all the media in the identity rpg twitter account more than twice i found this video of the clothes store, and i thought why not check this YouTube account for more identity content . After that i found this video and i got really happy to see how the town square will look like , not dull like arma 3 with just repetitive buildings. This place has skyscrapers (which i guess where the apartments are going to be) and lots of variations between all the buildings. beautiful map I've got to say. (keep in mind this was a sketch up from early 2015 )

Posture customization: many MMORPGs / RPGs have this feature. But most if not all don't let the player himself the ability to make his own posture. Usually there are pre-made ones to choose. Won't it be interesting to see many people each of them with their unique posture. It adds realism rather than using a default posture. Imagine yourself walking on the street and all the people around you are different, not only their appearance but how they stand. It gives the game a better atmosphere. Some people might get concerned that people are going to get crazy using the feature and do some impossible (anatomically) postures. But usually you get limitation to how body parts are allowed to move. People might try to make some funny stances but you can do those in reality so why not adding this to the game. Moreover this might improve the game.

Profender, if James is appearing a bit more authorative than others to you then let me tell you why. He is one of the people who knows the most about this game, has stuck by development news and these forums for time and time and has helped many people along the way. So he may be inclined to answer a question with more confidence than others. He is somebody who I consider useful to the forums. Reading this post, I see you as somebody who has come along, posted something and has got annoyed when somebody answered your question in general disagreement with you and generally caused a nuisance whilst adding very little to the forums. I would rather have you gone than him, so have a bit of respect for those who care the most or do one.

Lets not clutter your topic so PM me if you have things to say. Also Some would have the same opinion and I know I put "We" but I typed it fast and didn't look over it because I was busy doing stuff. Also yes I did like the Idea and I did forget to like the topic after I posted. Also what was you talking about I got posts removed?

Tommy Belmonte was born September 18, 1955. Tommy had an average upbringing with his parents and sister. They grew up in New York in a three bedroom apartment. His father worked as a janitor at a local hotel that was run by the mob. He was paid good money to clean the "messes" that were made in some of the bedrooms. For 11 years he kept his mouth shut until he was killed for what he knew. When new bosses had come into the mix Tommy's father was killed because they didn't trust him. Tommy's mother later committed suicide when he was 19. Four years after his father was killed. Tommy took up his fathers old job as a janitor and made a decent pay. He had to support himself and his younger sister. While the mob didn't have him doing any extra work like his father they still did illegal crimes within the hotel. Gambling, money laundering and anything else you could think of. After working there for about a year Tommy began seeing things he wasn't supposed to. He saw the Capo of the Luchèse Crime Family slit a mans throat for not making soup the right way. They seen him watching and threatened to slit his throat if he talked. He swore he wouldn't talk at all. And he didn't. For four years he didn't speak a word. At 24 Tommy had already been brought into the family and was making some good fuckin money. His sister and him were living in a nice house in Queens and they were getting happy. Tommy was set to be made a Capo himself within the following year. 1980 Tommy was made Capo of The Luchèse Crime Family. And for ten years they would battle against the likes of The Gambino Crime Family. And for 10 years it would be the bloodiest war in recent history. Car bomb, assassinations and plain old gun fights. In the turn of a new decade the fall of the popularity of the Mafia would fall the other gangs making their plays. Such as the Bloods and Crips. Hells Angels and Mongles. And it didn't help that in 1992 John Gotti was sentenced to life for his crimes. Tommy's life turned to shit after that. The Feds made constant sting operations which left a lot of the family exposed to attacks. Hundreds of members being killed. Tommy packed up his shit while the gettin was good. He flew to the island in 93 and has lived there ever since. Making friends with the locals and making his own money waiting for his time to come out from the shadows. Tommy is a thinker. He likes to plan his attacks before he makes them an idea. He's also an opportunist that will capitalize on your weaknesses if he gets the chance. Now all he has to do is find a family that will accept him.

Actually very true. With Microsoft announcing this may be their last console it may be the end of Xbox. Which is sad for me because of my memories on it, but everything must come to an end. And maybe this could spark the end of PlayStation as well. Hopefully they realize the potential of PC gaming and it becomes a bit more mainstream.

So I know there are quite a number of other posts regarding this topic, but I'd like to share my own idea, as see what people think about my opinion. So, in my opinion, I think death should mean death, not respawning with a few items lost, and then continuing on the roleplay ignorant to the fact that you died. On the other hand, for this to be viable there would have to be an inheritance system in place so your new character can get the old characters property back, such as houses they bought, possibly gun they bought (legally), and clothes and stuff (however weird the concept of having a dead guys clothes may be :P), and then maybe the monetary value of certain items, and maybe the lease of a rented house could be transferred as well, and possibly the ownership of a business, but probably not a rank in a gang or a police force, although that could be debatable. The reason I think this work, is because it still keeps the importance of dying there, which would probably make people be more careful with their lives, and create some good roleplay situations, such as mourning the loss of a close friend/gang member, re-structuring the gang after the leader/other important roles die, and let people move up the ladder in gangs rather than just sitting at the bottom, with the more popular or experienced players sitting immortally at the top of the ladder until they either choose to retire the character or die. It would also make it more satisfying to kill an 'enemy' character, such as the leader of another gang, an opposing drug dealer, or even a political figure you who you disagree with, or getting revenge on a judge that locked up some of your gang members. Overall, I think it would create a richer role-playing experience, with a real element of fear, not daring to go into bad neighbourhoods alone and unarmed, and for important people being careful where they go, to keep out of harms way. This could also have a positive effect on having hostages, as if the police do not negotiate right, they will know that someone is actually going to die, and lose their life, for 'real'. On top of this, It's not like you would just die straight away after being downed, and if it was my decision if there was permanent death, depending on the injury I would suggest about a 5 minute bleed count for the ambulance to get to you and for the paramedics to stabilise you, before you die, although this time limit should really depend on how many paramedics there are, and how fast they can get to people, which can only really be found out through the test of time. Of course, in the eyes of many, this system has its issues. I Have heard people raise the issue of people basically not wanting to die, and one example used was being run over by a 13-year-old in a stolen car and dying from it, especially when they were the leader of a gang or something would be stupid and ruin the fun, or being randomly shot in the back of the head in the middle of the night by some Psyco. To me, this is all part of the fun, and is part of the roleplaying situation, and I can't really think of a way someone could kill you which wouldn't be feasible in real life, I mean in real life anybody could go out and murder someone, and this would work in game because I'm sure there's going to be a very good justice and law system, which would discourage people from doing these things, and would probably stop the type of people who would go on murdering sprees in their tracks relatively quickly. The death penalty, or long sentences, or even in extreme cases a life sentence would also, in my opinion, be a good way to counter this, as people would probably not want to risk this. It's also unlikely that people will just keep making new characters and murdering people, as guns are meant to be relatively hard to get because of the price, although I'll admit there is a slight chance for abuse here, although to be fair not much more than if there was a re-spawn system, which I think would only increase abuse I'm sorry for rambling on a bit, this is way longer than I expected it to be, but oh well . I'd love to hear what you think about my ideas in the comments, some of your ideas, and if you really can't be bothered to read it all, I can make a TL;DR version edit - Jesus christ I had a look on word and this is 800 words 0_0.

I like the idea of 45 minutes, but I think the time should increase for repeating offenders, gotta learn their lesson someway..

That feel when people think a game is made overnight. Ignorance is a bliss.

I haven't read many other comments so forgive me for repeating what someone says. I think 45 minutes is way too short and here are my reasons. 1.Prison sims are fun 2. 45mins is not enough time to form gangs and territories and make the prison experience worthwhile 3. 45mins isn't enough time to get together a prison break plan 4. friends won't be motivated to break you out if they can just wait. 5. It's not enough time to be institutionalized Also I think being able to have your friends secretly mail in weapons and phones inside cakes would be cool

All you just said is Bullshit because they had gameplay of the game and why would a popular youtuber make a video on it if it was just a scam. Honestly i think that you people should stop pressuring them and let them do their job if you want this game out. Everyone wants to play this game even the devs but games dont come falling from the sky. I understand the concern people are having as i personally made a video on this game and pledged for modules but since March 25th which the first dev blog came out we have seen nothing which does lead you to wondering but what i think will happen is that they will release the Video and Module at the same time in a big update and we have to wait for it. So before anyone starts screaming and critises me my main point is Stop and Calm Down because Identity will release in your life time ETC 2020 JK Keep the Great Work @Motown and @Paratus

Well, first of all, just because people want answers to questions, does not mean they have no respect. A lot of the people asking those questions are actually investors in Identity, which gives them the right I would think. Second, your statement raises the immediate question, if you get to see images from Motown, then why are they not shown to everyone? Every single time someone on these forums raises the question of why is there no information forthcoming then either you, or one of the other self appointed 'Admins' leaps in telling folks to stop asking..........well maybe if someone from the actual Dev team would give an answer then they would stop asking. No matter how much you and you ilk seem to think you speak for the Dev team, you don't, and you thumbing your nose at the rest of the community by telling them you get special privileges really does not help.....at all. Some of you seem to think that the rest of us have never been involved in anything like this before (the OP here being a perfect example) well I'm sorry but this certainly ain't my first rodeo Herzog. If they were nowhere near ready then they most certainly should not have begun a Kick Starter, & people are right to question it because the amount of updates is very poor.

I fear an uprising will soon occur, as more and more are getting concerned for the progress of Identity.....

I agree...I think the whole "wanted level" system is outdated and inaccurate. It should be just like in real life. When a crime is committed, they investigate based on reports, unless the cops witnesses things themselves...This makes new jobs available like dispatcher...
  39. 1 point
Best solution would be just to not have a wanted level system. It doesn't work like that. If someone thinks you're causing a ruckus, they'll report you, and it's up to the police to see if they catch you or not. Even without a wanted level system in other RP games, I still manage to get pulled over by the feds.

Hia! Katie here, name also being, well Katie. I learned about Identity from one of my friends and decided that I would love to help out, which is why I'm here now! I mostly play League of Legends in my free time, but I expand my pool of gaming. Right now I'm in Queen's University in Kingston studying Biology, which is not the easiest thing in the world to do. If you ever want to play a game or two of something, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll add you on whatever. I just hope everyone has a good time!

Howdy! My name is Josh, but when it comes to gaming, I am more famously known as Killswitch. I have been playing video games ever since I was a young. I originated from console gaming, went to PC, back to console, then back to the PC master race after college. I dabble in all sorts of games but find the MMORPGs, MOBAs, and FPS games to be the most entertaining. I am from North Dakota and attended North Dakota State University where I got my Bachelors of Science. I am currently a Chemist in the area of Water Treatment, however I am going to go back to college to pursue a degree in Computer Science in the fall. I, like many others here, have met most of these young chaps through Asylum's Altis Life Server where I am an Administrator as well. Other additional hobbies would be sports, hunting, fishing, music, movies, and of course hanging out with friends. If you have any questions or need help, don't hesitate to message me.

Greetings All! I will preface this by saying that my username is pronounced "Goo-Gee." I have heard a lot of different variations of it and I hope this will prevent any confusion! My actual name is Evan and I am a sophomore studying to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. I am originally from Florida, the warm and sunny state where all you bizarre news stories originate. I came to know all of these amazing people through being an administrator on Asylum's Arma Life server since April 2014. My interests are mainly in the relationship between technology and law, which I hope to pursue after I finish my undergraduate education. I also am working to become fluent in Spanish, which I hope will be complete after I complete my abroad studies in Barcelona. In addition to gaming, I also enjoy watching and playing soccer, rowing, programming (Web Development, Java, C, Python), videography, and much more! Feel free to message with help regarding Identity or the Gaming-Aslyum ARMA Life servers.

Hey everyone, I'm Brendan, I'm currently a senior in high school taking a programming class and 3D modeling course with high hopes to go into the gaming industry in the future. I've been gaming ever since I was about 5 or 6. I've always loved video games and the world that it put you in. By the age of 13 I bought my first PC and gamed on it for about 2 years, After working part-time I save up money and built my new Gaming PC which is what I use now. After switching to PC I will never go back to consoles! Once I built that computer I installed all my software for 3D modeling and have been creating different projects to store in a portfolios for future job applications, by late 2016 I hope to apply for an internship at Gearbox Software (Creators of Borderlands) to improve my knowledge of the gaming industry. Thanks for checking out my introduction and I hope to see you guys around!

So this of course is entirely my opinion, and like all opinions, is subject to change. This is what I think it should be like in the prison. First off, I entirely agree with most people here, 45 minutes is WAY to short. As Undead said, you don't want to encourage people to enter crime, and, if you're going to have a whole acquit court system, that could take enough time in itself, so you want to have a sentence long enough that people are actually able and want to be acquitted. For me, the Maximum time a player should be in jail is 3 Hours, with no offline time included. Let me tell you why. 3 In-Game no offline hours is a LONG time, and it also is enough time to encourage people not to get into crime, as well as is a long enough time to inspire people to be acquitted. I also believe that, in order to not spam the system, and implying the maximum time is 3 hours, then the time you need to have in your sentence must be over 1 and a half hours in order to a request an acquittal. Now we've also come to a bit of an obstacle, you've mentioned Jail Breaks, now although we don't want to inspire criminals to try to break out of jail, we do want to give them enough time to maybe try, and this should obviously be very difficult, and doing so can add some serious time to your sentence, I was thinking 1-2 more hours, thus making getting caught a real punishment, which warns prisoners not to try it. But anyways, if Jail Breaks want to actually be a thing, you might want to add 2 Hours to the maximum time, making 4-5. Now for Jail Time, the 5-10 minutes cell separate from Prison, should be at max 15 minutes, maybe 20, reason being is all you're doing in a regular jail cell is waiting around and possibly talk to people, that's it, so unless they make some activities in a jail cell, it should be at max 15-20 minutes. And the crimes that put you in the jail cell should be incredibly minor, like speeding for example. One last thing. The form of punishment in prison. Ex: Killing/Attacking a Prisoner, Killing/Attacking a Guard, Contraband, building an escape tunnel (If possible as well as could be tied to Jail Breaks) and we've already discussed Jail Breaks as a whole. Now obviously each crime is different, some more serious than than the other. Please note that killing is more serious than just plain attacking, thus getting more punishment time. The most serious crime would be Killing a Guard, least serious being Contraband. Now punishment for these could go many different ways, you could have time added onto your sentence, which would be spent just staying in regular prison as normal. Another (personally my favorite) would be adding time onto your sentence, except the time that was added would be spent in a Solitude System (which I hope the game will have) and after that time is spent, the rest of your sentence would be spent as normal. Now for Contraband you could have it go 2 ways: 1. No matter the contraband, you get X amount of time added to sentence. Or 2. Different types of contraband give different X amounts of time. Weapons being #1 and Drugs being #2 for example. It all would be a very nice system to have. Thanks for reading and I hope you take my ideas into consideration, please remember this is all my opinion and some people may have a better idea than mine, so make sure you read everything! Thanks!

Identity Forum Guidelines Last Edit: July 9th, 2018 Participation in the Official Identity forums constitutes agreement to the following guidelines, which apply to posts, profile information, avatars, signatures, private messaging, and any other content on this site and participation in general. The live nature of discussions in this community makes it difficult for staff to catch every violation of these rules. If you believe that someone has violated our User Guidelines, please send a private message to a member of our volunteer moderation team or staff with a link to the content and a brief description of what you believe is wrong. Please do not respond to a violation personally, as you may aggravate the situation and possibly violate our guidelines yourself. Any content that violates our User Guidelines will be removed. Interpretation of our guidelines is at the discretion of the staff. Please do 1. Report violations of the forum rules. Moderators will quickly review reports and make decisions based on the information you provide. 2. Respect others. Showing respect will encourage others to participate in discussion. 3. Like posts, that you feel contribute useful information to a discussion. 4. Read the rules, so that you do not accidentally receive an infraction or ban. 5. Be constructive. Help others by answering questions, and offer feedback to their ideas. 6. Read before posting. Fully Comprehend the topic of discussion and determine what has already been discussed. 7. Use proper grammar and spelling. Read your post before submitting. Spelling mistakes may attract attention away from the discussion. 8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for! Please don’t 1. Troll. Trolling does not contribute to meaningful discussion. 2. Spam. Spamming clutters the forum and makes it difficult to find original content. 3. Flame, or attack others. Insults do not contribute to discussion, and will be removed. 4. Repost Deleted Content. Content that was deleted was removed for a reason, even if the reason is unclear. 5. Demonstrate or perpetuate toxic behavior. A user is considered toxic if they repeatedly make defamatory, threatening, insulting, or otherwise hateful remarks toward other users or staff. Please keep language civil when expressing your opinions. 6. Advertise websites or services unrelated to Identity. We do not sell advertising space on the Identity forums. 7. Cross Post. Cross-posting makes it difficult for users using the search function to find relevant information, and may be considered spam. 8. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. 9. Abuse reports. Reporting content with blank or inaccurate report descriptions will hinder a moderator's capacity to help. Please report content that is in violation of the rules, and not simply because you personally dislike another user. 10. Engage rule violators. You may accidentally violate these rules yourself by responding to others that you feel aren’t following these guidelines. 11. Make low-effort posts. Contribute useful information to the discussion, and avoid going off-topic. 12. Discuss Politics/Religion. These subjects are sensitive and may offend others. (There is a small place for fantasy politics within Identity's ecosystem. The Governor position will be able to tweak small settings within the game world, and must compete against others for power. The political systems within Identity are simplified and do not accurately reflect the processes involved with political discourse in the real world. Players may implicitly take inspiration from existing candidates or parties, but must not show any connections to real world politics through the use of logos/symbols, names (of existing leaders, existing parties, or of those within recent history), or slogans. By affiliating your party with a real world political faction, you are bringing such politics into discussion and grabbing the attention of those who recognize it. Real world politics typically invoke a strong emotional response in some viewers and can lead to vehement conflicts extremely quickly.) 13. Create multiple accounts. Only one account per person is authorized, so forum users can be easily identified. Avoiding a ban may result in further permanent action. 14. Operate a shared account. Sharing an account with another user will make conversation difficult should any of the account operators share a difference in opinion. Conflicting statements will impede our ability to help assist any single user on a shared account. Due to this, we request that each account is operated by a single, separate user. 15. Create forum posts that mention specific users in the title. Creating a new topic with the title specifically mentioning another user isn’t conducive to group discussion, especially if the targeted user isn’t comfortable responding in an open format. (For example, don’t make posts like “@usernamehere, why is x and not y?”) If you’re asking a question directly to another user, please do so using the inbox function on the forums. 16. Post Personal Information, or post links containing personal information. Sharing information about others can be harmful to their real-life. 17. Use forum features in unintended ways. Asking for likes, or making a game that incorporates the like/follow buttons artificially inflates user forum stats, making it difficult for other users to determine which content or user is contributing popular content to the site. 18. Discuss Moderator or Administrator actions Publicly. There are often reasons why a decision is made by a moderator or administrator that may be unclear to outside-parties, and off-topic discussion about an admin or moderator decision may be disruptive to a conversation. We politely ask that you trust and respect decisions made by staff. If you have an issue with a specific staff member, please report the matter to a Community Manager. 19. Impersonate Asylum Entertainment Staff or Moderators. When users seek assistance from moderators or Asylum staff, they shouldn't need to worry about encountering the possibility of dealing with an impostor. Always heed the official titles for staff roles on both the forums and discord to help avoid confusion. 20. Intentionally Spread False Information. Spreading rumors you know are falsified and portraying them as fact will only complicate Identity's development and serves to derail the actual constructive criticism offered by other users. Even accidentally giving out false information can be dangerous, so please ask a staff member or reference official statements (Dev Blogs for example). 21. Post or link to illegal, dangerous, offensive or NSFW content. Do not engage in activities that include (but are not limited to) the sharing of sexually explicit content, piracy, malicious code execution (viruses, malware, spyware etc.), gore. Please keep posts pertaining to the M-rated content in Identity reasonable. 22. Create or operate an account with the intention of solely boosting or supporting another user's reputation, poll votes, or opinions. We ask that all users contribute to the forums in ways that don't simply perpetuate someone else's particular viewpoint or account statistics. ***Moderators and staff have the final say on all matters. If you would like to report moderator abuse, contact a Community Manager directly. Creating public threads or posts that question or reference administrative decisions or potential administrative decisions is not permitted.*** ***Freedom of speech rights do not extend to privately owned websites, such as this one. These guidelines detail the types of behavior and activities that are allowed here.*** ***We reserve the right to deactivate any account and to edit or remove any content without warning. These guidelines are subject to change at any time without notice.*** ***If you have a question or suggestion about our User Guidelines, please do not hesitate to contact a moderator or admin and we will be glad to help in any way that we can.*** 3bdullah alzmeeeleee 6ree8 jbbbh #7mod mf95
