Hello there. I've noticed alot of people on the forums saying that they would prefer to play this game in a light RP fashion, which seems a shame being that this game is going to be created simply for the element of realistic RP. I was wondering if any people on here, alike to me, are here for the more hardcore RP kinda stuff, if so, how many of you are there, and is anyone planning on creating a community harcore RP server right off the bat of when community servers get supported.

As I roleplayer, I play the game from an in-character perspective and whatever happens, whatever my character does the consequences has to be accepted, robbing a bank? Yup, Jail time, simple as that! Anyway, Hardcore roleplay for the win.

If people are here for "light" RP, they might as well go play some GTA. I came here for HARDCORE roleplay and HARDCORE roleplay only, I take my RP seriously which is what I like about it. Maybe it's too serious for some people to risk a few hours jail time if they rob a bank, but for me it's fun as hell and really lets you explore all these paths in life you may not be able to realistically ever accomplish. By the way, I'm not hating on people who want a small touche of RP in their day to day gaming, I honestly hope everyone finds a server right for them be it light, HARDCORE, mini-games or anything in between. I do have plans on starting a community dedicated to HARDCORE roleplay, I do have quite a bit of management experience so who knows where it'll go. For all I know I may end up playing somewhere else if this "somewhere else" turns out to be the type of community I am looking for and really do enjoy. If you've played ArmA 3 Life then I would betcha communities like CGL and Life Studios would do a HARDCORE Identity Server.

im sorry but the cryEngine is way out dated. it has alot more limitations then unreal engine has.. So they wouldent Downgrade at all when they are working with an engine that is both powerful and user friendly.. Not only that but its a free engine.. to use cryEngine you would need to sell your house and all the items you use to afford useing it.

Police 1013 is rather terrible looking compare to what identity will be.. The devs are sloppy even with the characters they made... Here are some of there 'Concepts' Its kind of rediculous.. they have put up some Copy right stuff.... Even though THEY DIDNT MAKE IT... All these 3d models are Made with FUSE which is a character generator program where you create characters with sliders and premade clothing ect... You might think like "hey how is this a bad thing" (in some cases its not a bad thing) But the fact they are taking credit for it and saying they made it, is a complete joke. and so is the idea of them 'Copy righting it' When anyone can use that program to make there characters. heres more images... Again both of these were made with Fuse... So.. in saying this.... The police 1013 can keep Updates regularly and post images BECAUSE they are putting little to no Effort into alot of things and useing cheap and easy ways to pump content out quickly.. Yet Identity are making everything from scratch doing it all themselves. Including the character models. SO of coarse identity is taking time to post stuff because it takes a hell of a lot longer to make things from scratch, then just spend 5 to 10 minutes with a character generator. here is pics from Fuse

Well, there is no way of doing this because the devs dont have an option for it. there are only pledge amounts and well i pledged $250 already but I have not got enough to upgrade to the $500 pledge to help out more.

an interesting idea, but also, what about switching the shoulder you fire with, like in uncharted games, you could switch to another shoulder, t give you better firing/aiming options...

Hello!~ i don't mean to be rude but what exactly do you mean by 'a certain style will break immersion?' I'm not sure if you leave the house much but people have A lot of different styles and its seems a bit silly to not include some things or even consider different style's that you yourself don't see as 'Normal' If anything having more styles will make it more immersive. because people will be able to express themselves in their own way. to me what you said was a little Closed minded.

I know the game won't have AI controlled pedestrians, but what about an alternative. when the player logs out, their character becomes AI controlled. A character running from the police would surrender, one driving a car would continue to do so (instead of stopping in the middle of the road, or crashing). this would prevent people disappearing, or simply stopping suddenly. then the game could despawn them when needed(maybe when not in view of players).
