4 pointsWe typically have a 2 week deadline for 3d assets, but don't tell our artists that! That's more than enough time to complete anything we task them with, and we usually get stuff back from the artist much sooner. Simple assets like props may take less than a day, with clothing pieces ranging from 3-5 days from start to finish. If it requires sculpting in ZBrush, it inherently takes longer because the process includes the hi-poly mesh and low-poly re-topology. And if it requires rigging, skinning, and animation, it could take much longer. Experienced 3d artists might read this and think we're pretty slow though.

2 pointsIn my town in real life we have a MC (will not name them) and their club house is just a normal house white in color with motorcycles outside. I never see anybody outside. Maybe on guy smoking a cigarette. But I will guess that they have a bar and a pool table / poker table in there. It would be cool to own a business and in the back have a small club house with a poker and pool table with some desks.

1 pointHey all, So while I know this was a thing on "Ye Olde Forumme", I thought it might be a good idea to provide quick way of accessing every screenshot and piece of concept art that the dev team releases on Facebook. Hopefully, I'll do my very best to keep it up-to-date, but don't hold your breath ;). If anyone finds any that aren't included here, feel free to put them in the comments. Thanks! Your chum, Felix.

1 pointHello everyone! Some of you might remember that I had a thread on the old forum with an Imgur album containing all pictures posted by the developers on Twitter and Facebook. I just wanted to let you all know, both those who might have seen it but had forgot about it, aswell as new people who found it just now that it still exists and is updated as soon as a new picture is released. You can access it here, feel free to use it (or not use it) however you like. Take care!

1 point*After she got home, she called Eddie to tell him about the talk with his wife. He confirms that once she got back from the store, she went into a monologue about what she seeks to accomplish with her family. It was a nice night and Eddie is grateful for Elexis' actions. He himself was smoking a cigar on his porch as Stacy was cooking a meal for the whole family.* *The next morning she hits by the showroom for a client interested in a Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition, costing $465,000. They take the car for a test drive and drop by a fast food drive-in for cups of coffee. The client clearly has a good funny bone when it comes to serious and expensive deals. He also buys one for Elexis.* *She ends up making the sale.* *She has so much time now to chill around. Just taking care of some notice emails of overdue payments on two vehicles. One Maserati Ghibli and one Ferrari Testarossa. Other than that just drink coffee, chill around the offices.* *The boys are back in school and more popular now than they were before.* *She is ready to head back home, realizing she had a paper given by a strange biker last night.* *She heads home, showers, hangs around until the time comes, changes clothes, heads out to the address.* *It's a warehouse near the harbor. Looks run down, minor graffiti, window or two broken, beer bottles infront of the office. She sits and waits in her Porsche with the engine off and looks for any activity or the guy from yesterday.* ((waiting for @Herzog reply))

1 pointI do not think PD should be able to throw up a random check point at any given time in between cities. I agree with @Herzog If the current Govenor/President feels the need to set up a "sting" in a certain area that might be ok. But I do feel that DUI checkpoints maybe once a week in random places chosen by the police chief would be good RP for both PD and Citizen and who knows it could lead to some exciting moments!

1 pointWill we be able to have multiple characters or will I have to have 2 accounts. It would be cool both ways though. both characters will have no affiliation with each other in game. Thanks, Luca Santarelli
-
1 pointFirstly please search as I am sure I have answered this before. They said only one character per server I think, but I am sure it would be cool if they give the server the option to allow 2 characters or not for private servers then that would be great.

1 pointThere will be no subscription fees and i believe you wont be able to pay for in game currency. The only items that will be on the store for real money will be unique cosmetic items like clothes or housing items. These items are purely cosmetic and will not give you an advantage in a battle, etc.
-
1 pointThey said on twitter that they possibly will only do cosmetic stuff and not money or apartments a such. Also they stated if they don't allow in-game micro transactions how will they keep the official servers paid for. You will probably from people buying the the game, well also they need the alternative too so that they will have a way to get money through the players who make in-game purchases and who buy the game. If you don't want to see people buying things at all, I am planning on hosting a serious-hardcore server and which I am not giving out any items/ rewards for donations. All the donations I get will just keep the server up and running and all they will give is a tag on the scoreboard (if implemented).

1 pointPlease can you refrain from cluttering the forum with posts like these. Give the devs the time and space they need. The video will be out when it is ready. There is no need to keep pestering the devs and posting things like this on the forums.

1 pointThe way we plan to handle something like this, is to offer a park ranger spawn location for police officers in Identity, somewhere remote, and out in the woods. When they spawn, they will by default, be wearing park ranger clothing, and have access to park ranger vehicles. If they really wanted too, they could take this gear and drive all the way to the city and do their normal patrol in park ranger assets, but the important thing to note is that the two roles are merged into the law enforcement career for easier access.

1 pointThe Bad Company Rangers do protection services. In the past we have been used as protection for gigs, even by the Rolling Stones after their mishap with...I wont answer that. However i dont think we will be getting involved in 'legal' protection. For all you mob bosses out there, we are happy to help.

1 pointHello citizens! I'm Motown, and I'm Identity's Community Manager, the person in charge of delivering all of your important ideas and messages to Identity's development team! What's special about my role here is that I'm not just your eyes and ears, I'm also one-half of the founding team for Identity! John Vanderzwet and I set out together to make Identity a reality, and have been involved in every aspect of Identity's development since the very start. That means, through me (and our volunteer moderator staff), you have direct access to the very top of our family tree, and we can influence the design and development of Identity together! You won't get that sort of treatment from many industry CM's! So, If you have ideas that you feel will expand and define Identity for years to come, let me know, and I will make sure it hits the right ears. What a relief it has been to know that so many people have been waiting for a game like Identity for so long. I couldn't be happier to have the opportunity to be the liaison that will connect you with the world of Identity and the wonderful people who make it what it is! We strongly feel that we have a winning formula, and the deepest conviction that we may revolutionize the MMORPG genre with your support! We're going to do a lot of great things together, so it's only fair that you know a little bit about me first! My name is Sean, I'm 27 years old. My best friend is my boss and co-worker, John Vanderzet. I grew up all over the United States where I've developed the hyperactive, happy, and unbiased personality you will come to know me for! I call Ontario, Canada my temporary home while I work on Identity as your Community Manager, interim Art Director and 3D prop artist. I went to college for Video Game Design & Production, but my true passion is interacting with people! I've been a forum moderator for many large and well-known online gaming communities, including a default subreddit of 8 million subscribers on Reddit.com, a volunteer guide of the Followers of Asura in "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures", an event organizer in "Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa" (Big RG fan btw!), the only English forum moderator of a German FPS called "Parabellum" (Google Translate ftw!), and forum moderator for "Planetside 1", "GamersFirst", "Mortal Online", and a few others I can't even remember, for varying lengths of time! Yep, I get around! But now it's time I get to know a little bit about you too. Create a new topic in this forum, and introduce yourself! We want to know exactly what personalities come out of the the deep, dark, depths of the internet to share our passion for Identity! But be nice!
